Fixated is honestly the best survivor perk in my opinion
It's going to be so incredibly helpful when it comes to mindgames and traversing around the map
-
10 minutes should be the average, not too quick and not too long. It's just stupid how some games can be finished in 4 minutes
-
Is it really cheap if it takes 4 perks and 2 add ons?
-
Legion was as obnoxious as players that go to a ptb with their fully maxed characters to mori/gen rush
That said all he needed as adjustments, BHVR went so far as to nuke Legion to the point he's weaker then Wraith
Seriously his power has been nerfed so insanely much it's hilarious

There's just one problem with buffing resilience
For optimal survivors being injured isn't much of a concern, the 15-20 seconds they spend healing each other they can easily just push out a generator and activate adrenaline.
Buffing a perk that rewards survivors for not healing and gives them massive speed boosts means your gonna see generators go active even faster. Oh man I can just imagine how hilarious a four man SWF with 15% speed buffed Resilience would be against a Legion or Plague
Those characters would be better off actually not even using their power

Currently you don't see hooks getting sabotaged very often unless it's part of some daily requirements. Currently you need to 99 a hook and try and trap it as a killer is hooking another survivor. I have yet to see this in any games I've played, killer or survivor. My idea to encourage more sabotaging is allow the hook to be fully sabotaged, but it doesn't fall apart till the killer attempts to hook a survivor. At that point it would be treated like a wiggle free. In order to prevent the hooks from being in a perpetual state of sabotage, once a hook has been sabotaged and the killer has attempted to use it, it cannot be sabotaged again for five minutes. Or, this could be a perk rework and then it would be 5/4/3.
Please leave your opinions, killer and survivor.
What this means is that every killer will be forced to run Agitation, Iron Grip and maybe even Mad Grit since people will be body blocking to get to the basement or be forced to slug
What this new change will do is force the killer to play in the most boring way possible, camp the hooked survivors and generally make everyone have a miserable time
The idea of giving people a free escape and hte killer would have no way of knowing is horrendous

I can understand the Haddonfield complaint but what in particular is so bad about Blood lodge? From my perspective it's a very open map with huge sight lines that help the killer keep survivors under pressure.
Conversely the sight lines actually help the survivors far more then the killer because by the time the killer gets over to where he saw someone working on a gen
The survivor's already finished his lunch and just waiting to start the loop. Which brings us to the biggest problem the map has, the insanely high number of pallets. There's safe pallets every 5 feet and if the survivor has any exhaustion perk good luck trying to punish their mistake
There's almost no loops that break line of sight so survivors have all the advantage in the world in the loops. So there's practically no room for mind-games
It's an awful map
-
Ah yes
Standing still and letting the survivor mindgame themselves. Truly the definition of interactive and dynamic gameplay

Only change this perk needs - larger numbers, thats all! Something like 15/16/18% and this perk is viable!
EDIT: yeah, 10/11/12% will be better, 18% is too strong.
-
Haddonfield, HADDON FIELD, H A D D O N F I E L D
After that Blood Lodge that map is freaking broken and would be the most favorable map for survivors if not for Haddonfield
-
Without a doubt it is by far the best looking map in the entire game. It actually looks and FEELS like a real place. It is the polar opposite of the ugly Haddonfield
-
It is interesting. Every other license since Halloween has had a detailed backstory explaining why the characters are here
Its interesting that Netflix wouldn't allow more than a handwave explanation for their appearance here. Don't even get any information on whether this is a new demo or one specifically from the show
-
I have literally no idea how people are concerned about "authenticity" and out of place stuff
Guys we got Ash looping Freddy around a table before dropping a pallet on him. Authenticity is out of the window
-
The pallets are not the problem
The entire map is one huge balanced landing paradise. You thought Badham buildings or Haddonfield were perfect for balanced landing?
You guys haven't seen anything
-
The lunge has a ton of versatility. It's not as good as Pig's lunge is in a pallet loop but at jungle jyms, walls, catching up it's insanely good
You can even use it as a speed boost. Plus the point generation is amazing
-
Ah yes, Evil Dwight is a powerful weapon
Unless the killer is a TF2 player and the other survivors make friends with him by crouching and nodding at him first
Then your doomed

LOOKS LIKE FRANKLIN IS BACK ON THE MENU BOYS

Wait until the heal to full and then pull them out, you get hit with decisive, but they lose a heal😎
Hmm, that is true. Still I foresee quite a bit of frustration in the future with survivors doing 0 IQ plays and not even punished for them due to these two perks
Might actually cause me to start playing Plague come to think of it
For the record in-case anyone asks. No I don't tunnel, I will always go for the unhooker instead of the unhooked. This is because I pride myself in having fun lobbies and I want points.
However a unhooked survivor can stare at me, jump in a locker and there's nothing I can really do about it thanks to their DS. It's a dumb play that I can't punish with a slug and that's annoying
-
Oh yeah this perk is going to be really fun to run and it will be nice to see a new perk break up the stale meta of DS/DH/Adrenaline/BT/UB
However I have a feeling Inner Strength is going to be absolutely abused with Decisive Strike. Think about it just run to a locker and you'll be essentially invulnerable as the killer can't pull you out and you get to heal to full
Ugh, that's going to be annoying
-
I believe at 12:00PM

@RakimSockem You realize the trade off for a 3% decreased action speed token is allowing the obsession to heal 33% faster and if he dies, you lose all your tokens
Thanatophobia reduces action speeds by 4% for injuring somebody to a max of 14% if all four survivors are injured
You have to get 4 hooks to match the Thana slow-down, you would get for simply hitting all four survivors. Meaning it will take till the end of the game before you get any truly meaningful slow-down with Dying Light by then there will probably be only 2-3 gens left
Which is The same time constraint problem Dying Light has always suffered from ontop being a bloody awful no fun perk that was awful to fight against. Now it's just bland to use. If I needed consistent slow-down, I'd rather just use Thana, Butcher, Corrupt, heck even Ruin
-
People talking about how effective Surge can be seem to forget
Survivors can just run outside the generator radius and effectively deny it entirely. I mean once they know you have it competent survivors will immediately adjust for it
In many ways Mindbreaker may end up being the most reliable perk from Demogorgon in this state
-
If surge gets reduced it should absolutely work with powers
-
So all the survivor perks were adjusted to be made stronger
All the killer perks were adjusted to be weaker because they could punish survivors for making mistakes
Yep seems fair

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Dying Light doesnt affect the obession........................
Devs, could you pls write better text for the perks?
Can you imagine how fast the healing rate would be if you had either a "We'll Make It, Botany Knowledge" and or a med-kit?
It will be a free insta-heal, that's frigging busted. Dying Light was already the killer's left behind equivelent
Now it's less viable than Monstrous Shrine
-
Oh W O W
34 seconds that more's then half of a hook duration, that's bloody insane actually. Even against campers that's going to make it really easy to do basement rescues and borrowed time rescues
-
Bloody heck I didn't think they could make Dying Light any worse but they somehow did
Genuinely disappointed with the perk changes for killers. Survivors get an epic rework for Left Behind and a really sweet buff to Dark Sense that makes it way better than Rancor is for killers
All killers got was Dying Light
-
-
Honestly I can't use Shadowborn
Going from Shadowborn to default FOV is actually horrible. The game looks so bland, ugly and crushed like I went from 1080P to 480/720P
It's honestly really bad people that say otherwise are kidding themselves

Not the biggest issue imo but yes
True there are debatably other issues but this affects the entire lower rank population
How many times have you run into killers that keep going the wrong direction in every loop, or survivors that are running Urban evasion in the corner of the map?
Especially the ones that run the moment they hear a heartbeat, Even though it's somehow freaking PURPLE RANKS

Relying on a totem perk was your first mistake.
Your second mistake was assuming I wouldn’t run Small Game when 90% of games at R1 consist of Ruin
Ahaha! Jokes on you. You've fallen for my excellent mindgame of only running Thrill Of The Hunt as my sole Hex Perk.
Because of this you and your team will spend the whole game trying to deny my NOED or find Devour Hope when I don't even run it in the first place

The only acceptable scenario for such unsafe unhooks is if the hooked player is about to hit stage 2 and the player being chased is about to go down anyway. This actually buys the hooked player a little more time than he would have if left on the hook. It also means the next time he gets hooked he would only be second stage instead of automatic death. It also means the original unhooked player won't be put on the exact same hook again meaning it could be easier to rescue them than before.
These types of unsafe unhooks do have a place and tactical sense and done well it can save the hooked player from death. The problem is far too often a player about to be downed will just unhook to farm points because they are morons. I mean if I'm about to hit stage 2 I'll gladly accept a unhook because there's a chance I could get away or the killer will let me get away

Even if something is cool, doesn't mean it's fine.
Wouldn't it be cool if the survivor could mori the killer with an offering? The animation would look totally cool and thus also fair.
Toxic Neas moriing my Trapper
I would DC before it was finished and uninstall my game
I am not even joking lol
-
I play Doctor a lot myself, he's just really, really, difficult to play sometimes
I mean you can have a great blast of a time if you keep getting lobbies full of players that camp pallets and allow you all the time in the world to just shock them, walk to them, hit them, and repeat for the entire game
Or you'll just get lobbies where people spread out, the map is huge, and you really got no chance. It's very difficult to play him at times, same with Wraith
I can't tell you how many times I've shocked survivors but they were still able to vault. It's actually an incredible rarity at this point

I have noted it and will share it with the team, but I doubt it would be something that could change in time for the next update. Changing text is harder than it seems. We can change the English (and even French) text very easily, but every other language would need to be sent off for localization.
Just put it in Google Translate
Everything will work out fine

I no longer run Kindred
A perk meant to help you and your team, is nothing but a beacon. A beacon of unending torment upon which you see your expectations, your hopes laid low and smote to ash
The last thing you will see is the Urban Evasion David at the southern corner of the map and then and only then
Will Despair take you
