Because not every SWF are these death squads that every one on these forums keep talking about???
Exactly, I guess a lot of SWF are not using only meta perks.

Those yellow flashlights must’ve been tough OP.
Sometimes I meme in DBD, play with ridiculous perk builds, and sometimes with no perks on both sides. That's why I'm also changing my ingame name. If you don't take the game too seriously, you'll have more fun :)

How exactly they were bully squad? They all looks new survivors. Probably you were person who bullied them.
There's a reason I put "baby" in the title... I guess they were a swf because they were from the same country and switched at the last second. And they also played very offensively (flashy saves, locker and vault spamming) Sure, I don't know exactly, but solo guys don't usually play like that. They didn't answer me in the aftergame chat, otherwise I would have had to ask them.

Hello,
I am thinking about quitting the game. Seriously.
Yes, I know, many have posted a thread like this in this forum.
And yes, I know that there are many thinks on both sides, survs and killers that have to be optimized.
But what the hell is wrong with SBMM:
My account has about 500-600 hours:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/6GV2UHDWUYS0/untitled.png
The survivors have about 2000-3000+ hours:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/0662HCHSJNIP/untitled.png
I played The Trickster for about 4-5 matches, then these tryhards show up.
And they´ve got the whole programm together: Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, Balanced landing... oh and some did have also Boil Up. And don´t forget the purple flashlights.
Sure, I can understand that these players show up, If you did enough kills (you know kills = skills). But my first matches weren´t even that good.
Secondly, please fix the exit gates.
No, I don´t mean to increase the timer or anything. Maybe regress the gates, so that survivors can´t one click open them to unhook someone and get a free escape. This makes End Game obsolet!
And adding to that, survivors WILL taunt you inside the exit Gate and you can´t do something against it. They just crawl out if you hit them, even if you down them. Maybe that they can´t crawl outside for a few seconds, like the chains from pinhead, you know.
So, this is my statement. I don´t really want to quit this game, I´ve found many friends over the years (playing since beta 2016, good times ^^) but this is just enraging for me. I play one game and want to close this game immediately.
I´d really like to discuss with you in this thread, friendly and normal. :D
If you want to stop, just do it. Otherwise you might take a break like many people do. I guess nobody here would stop you from going.
You've been playing DBD since 2016 and your account only has 578 hours?! For real? That would mean that you have an average playing time of 2 hours/ week. If I only played 2 hours in a week it would be the longest break in DBD I've ever had! I mean, I know people who get those 578 hours a month 😂
-
"Dead Hard", although I use this crutch perk quite often tbh. I wished it wouldnt exist. "Starstrucks" can also be very annoying...
-
I buy every character in DBD whether I like them or not. And I like Sadako even if she is weak. DBD is still my main game and I like to support it, even if I don't always agree with all the devs' decisions.

Please note that I am only discussing Tombstone Piece and not Judith's Tombstone.
There's a reason that Judith's isn't up for discussion. It takes a long time to get it, even with J. Myers Memorial but most people run it with Fragrant Tuft of Hair.
Tombstone Piece does not take all that long to proc, especially with J. Myers Memorial. I believe you only need an extra 25% Stalk in order to pop it and once you do, the game is basically over. You should be, realistically, popping it with 3 gens left.
The ability to instantly murder one of the Survivors without needing pretty much any build up is insanely strong.
Even Judith's Tombstone without Fragrant Tuft of Hair is still very strong. I like playing it with PWYF + Lethal Pursuer cuz you can still kill or knock down another person after your first mori.

Just lazy people who didn't bother to learn more about him.
Even Otz said so.
I played a lot Legion in his early days, but I felt kinda bad for the survivors. This killer was overperforming similar to "Mettle Of Man". I would still put old "Decisive Strike" to the list
Old Freddy was my first main killer and Im missing him a lot. When the devs announced his rework I played him only and the last day with him was really hard to me.

GeneralV does not like some stuffs from old DbD, wow! Should we worry about apocalypse, friend? 🤔
That´s what I think, too. I actually appreciate the work the developers put into Freddy´s rework. However, I would have preferred if they took the concept of the new Freddy to a new killer and kept the unique playstyle of the old Freddy.

Survivors can't either in almost all cases. The rock just makes a short loop longer
Before the maps were reworked, I remember extended loops (by rocks or trees) on Yamaoka and Swamp that only the survivor could go through. Not often to be fair, but I wouldn't be surprised if it still happens.

As long as a survivor can walk through, it's fine :3

he's got aura reading while cloaked
so many players of wraith rely on his sprint burst from the uncloak to catch people.
did he really need more power to this?
The funny thing is, that u are complaining about an add on (silent bell) which is by far not the strongest. It is good for some jump scares here and there, but that´s all. Wraith is one of my main killers and he is actually very easy to counter.

I would've expected such a comment from a lot of Forum members, but not you.
Yes, currently the ANOES DLC has some of the worst content in the entire game, but it wasn't always like that. On-release, the chapter came with the best killer they have ever designed, a very interesting map (OG Badham) and the best survivor in the game.
Not to mention that perks like Remember Me, Blood Warden and Vigil had far more uses back then.
And the way to fix this is to revert them, make the chapter as good as it once was. Not deleting them. This is something that shouldn't even be mentioned.
I miss old Freddy too. I mean yeah he wasn't the strongest killer and needed some love but I'll never understand why the developers completely changed his unique playstyle.

So I decided to give impossible skill check doc a shot cause I've not seen it in a while and I was curious to see if it was still affective and against team like this sure but, high mmr probably not. This survivor though calls me a baby killer which you know sure if it makes you feel good sure do I support it no however, when a killer gets 3 people and plays as fair as they can are they really a baby killer for that.
It's like saying oh baby Nurse cause they missed like 2 blinks or baby Trapper he doesn't know where to place his traps and than all of a sudden they just destroy the team with good blinks or Traps you didn't expect to be placed are they still consider a baby Nurse or Trapper? I don't think so I would think they're getting the hang of these killers and understanding there powers.
If a killer kills all 4 survivors by any means, he cannot be that bad and and maybe those survivors should think about their own mistakes. And this build is pretty weak and does only work against those survivors:

I can count on 1 hand the number of times a 99ed gate got me killed while people who open the gate immediately got me killed 20+ times.
By opening the gate prematurely you’re giving the killer the upperhand and you seal the fate of the person getting chased. All the killer has to do now is make sure you can’t leave the loop for a guaranteed kill.
I think what Jawsisthenextkiller said is the best thing to do so the game doesn’t drag out too long, though I would search for the totem if there’s Noed 😜
If you're waiting at the exit door for someone to be knocked out and hooked, because you don't know what the others are doing, that's absolutely right too. I also agreed with @JawsIsTheNextKiller (and I hope their name will become reality). That's not what I call 99% doors either.
For me, 99% doors mean that the survivors go on rescue missions without first opening a gate, which sometimes results in multiple kills. If I know the killer doesn't have NOED and someone is being chased near me, I will open the door and go for the protection hit. Otherwise BT will handle it. So why should I stay at a 99% door and do nothing? EGC durates 2-4 mins. The chased mate can hang 0-2min depending on their hook stage.
If I'm expecting NOED, I'll look for the totem before I start opening a door because the survivor will put time pressure on me. If I can't find the totem or the totem is next to the hooked guy + killer, I will leave.
There are situations where 99% doors make sense, yeah! The problem is solo mates often don't know when it makes sense to open a gate and when it doesn't. But because of their guinea pig mentality and because some cool streamer recommended it, they ALWAYS do 99% doors instead of using their own brain. It is the same mentality which tells us to never ever heal against a plague.

You missed one:
4 - You run toward the 99% gate and you have time! When you get there, it wasn't a 99% gate, it was a 98% gate. Dead.
Good point. Not many have mastered the art of 99.99% doors :D
-
@JawsIsTheNextKiller said:
I've been killed more by 99% doors than I have Blood Warden. I say if you are a solo survivor, 99% the door and wait by it. If someone gets downed, wait for them to be hooked then open the door and go and help with the rescue.
Unless it is Noed then just leave.
That is also my personal experience. In fact, my teammates kill me more often than the killers. I have the following situations:
- I'm running towards a 99% gate and nobody is there to open it -> RIP
- I run towards a 99% gate and someone stands there but doesn't open it and runs away. (Like Cheryl yesterday and it wasn't the first time)
- I run towards a 99% gate, a survivor opens it, I get knocked out , because I dont get a protection hit. The killer hits the other survivor and bye bye -> RIP

@[Deleted User] said:
I tend to leave. The timer running low is usually a symptom rather than a cause. If you're getting low on time, nothing good is happening anyway and chances are the extraction has been bungled. It's more than enough time for an unhook and go.
That´s my point. You have more than enough time, to prepare and carry out the unhook.
@Nun_So_Vile said:
Because EGC is a thing
@GuyFawx said:
EGC is the only reason and if you dont have bt for the save thats why
The EGC argument doesn't count for me. The EGC is long enough to heal and go for the unhook. If the survivors are unable to unhook without giving the killer another free hook, the next try usually doesn't get any better. As long as the killer isn't a facecamping Bubba, Trickster or Huntress, the survivors + BT should actually be able to handle it. Of course, the exit gate should not be too far away either.
@sulaiman said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2831493#Comment_2831493
So, and do you go to save that guy even though the killer has noed and noone has found the totem yet?
beause with the open gate, there is no time to search for it.
If the door is open at that point, i will just leave and let you or whomever die on the hook. Because way too many times i saved people, just to die on my first hook because there was no time left to save me.
To NOED:
In most cases I can predict whether the killer is playing with NOED. Thanks to some gamesense and knowledge of the preferred killer perk builds I usually know what perks the killer is playing. If Im not sure, Ill look for NOED before opening the door. I mean Im playing often with "detectives hunch", so that is not that big. If the killer is hooking the last one next to their NOED totem, it is usually too risky to unhook. (I mean I still do it but I play altruistically and don't care about escaping).
That's why 99% doors makes little sense to me in solo q. If I'm waiting at the exit gate like a dummy and an injured survivor arrives, then it's often too late to take a protection hit for him. That´s why I open the gates immediately, go to the chased survivor and help him. And most of the time it works. Sometimes my random mates need some pressure to do anything at all. I hate it watching them staying at 99% doors and doing literally nothing 😡
-
@tippy2k2 @sizzlingmario4 @toxik_survivor
Thanks for your opinions. Dont forget I'm talking about Solo Q and you can't communicate with your teammates. In SWF 99% doors can make sense here and there, I agree.
Even if I open a gate right away, there's still more than enough time to save the hooked guy. The success of the unhooking depends on borrowed time, DS, the skills of the survivors/killers and the distance to the door. Especially if the hunted person is dead on hook, it is better to open the gates immediately.
To Bloodwarden: This perk is extremely rarely used in my matches and yet so many guys are afraid of it. And when a killer plays with it, it's usually very predictable. 99% doors kill more people than they save them from blood warden.
-
Bubba and Hillbilly are my favorite killers to play against. Their sweet roaring is so adorable. Otherwise I like to play against everyone, except...
- Huntress & Trickster, cuz 90% of my opponents are camping first hook in the open field
- Hag & Trapper, cuz I run in every trap. Even when they put only one trap, I will step into it.

I would be sad, if wouldnt exist anymore </3 I also play him very often myself but I barely camp with him.

@SilentShepherd said:
You have seen me around, rightfully pointing out how Bubba needs nerfs.
Yes I am a Survivor main, but that does not mean I am biased.
So today, I decided to try Bubba, to prove how easy and ridiculous his kit is. And as expected, the results were exactly what I guessed they would be.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/BNI8Y940TVQV/bubba1.jpg
This is someone who is completely new to Bubba. I have played about 4 matches with Bubba today, and only -1- person escaped. That's 15 kills, 1 escape across 4 matches. For a COMPLETELY NEW BUBBA player.
- I have never played Bubba before
- I AM A Survivor Main!!!
- I DONT PLAY KILLER AT ALL. Look at my ranking, Ash 3. I ranked up in 4 easy matches.
- LOOK AT MY PERKS. I only have 3. All level 1 yellow perks! I'm up against full purple, 4 perks. AND I STILL WRECKED THEM.
And the only person who escaped, was entirely my fault. I have no idea how long Decisive Strike lasts for, as I don't play Killer, this is not something I have memorized. So I waited a long time, and picked up a Survivor, but DS was still active and they got away from me. That's it. It would have been 16 kills otherwise.
During my playthrough with Bubba, I found myself talking out loud saying "what is this, this is bs" as I easily downed two FULL HEALTH survivors in the killer shack with a couple swings of my chainsaw. If there was too many windows nearby for a chainsaw, I just turned into an M1 killer and hit them twice and downed them anyway. But ooh boy, if I caught them ANYWHERE else, I didn't even bother with M1. Full health --> insta down with chainsaw. I caught myself being in complete disgust at how easy this was.
If you look at my post history, I bought DBD +Halloween DLC on the same day, to main Michael Myers, last year. I got so annoyed at how weak Myers was (new players dont have great addons for every game), plus the SWF nonsense, that I stopped playing Killer altogether. But now having played Bubba, this is hilarious. He is the easiest killer i ever tried. Getting 4k is a breeze. And should you ever want to camp, it's easy money. Nobody, and I mean, NOBODY is getting away from an unhook if you camp. Even if they have BT, then it becomes a trade, but someone is going up on that hook again. And slugging became VERY easy. Because of instadown chainsaw. And turning didn't help them. I am a completely new Bubba and even I could make him turn corners and knock them down.
In conclusion. Bubba needs a revamp. His kit is ridiculous. Nerf would not even be enough. Bubba needs wholesale changes because he is far and away too easy to use and oppress survivors for 4k. I WANT TO REPEAT - LOOK AT MY PERKS. I don't even have 4 perk slots. All my perks are level one. Survivors are full purple perks. And they never stood a chance. Against a SURVIVOR MAIN who -never- plays Killer. Not even for daily rituals.
KILLER MAIN DECICDED TO TRY MEG THOMAS FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY. RESULTS AS EXPECTED.
Today I played Meg Thomas for the first time. I played her without any perks, items and addons in Solo Q. I mean look at their perks. They didnt use one single altruistic perk. No "Borrowed Time", no "Circle of Healing". Although I played against an actually strong killer (Twins), they didnt stand a chance against my Meg. That means Meg is OP and f*cking boring to play against. Decrease her movement and repair speed to 50% and she would be still too strong! Think about it!

I am all for nerfing face camping... On other killers. This is Leatherface's niche, if they remove it without compensating him with something major, I am hella hella gone, bro. I tolerate a LOT of their decisions. I disagree with dozens upon dozens of them. This would be the straw that broke the camels back.
I am not going to learn some lame killer like Nurse, Blight, or Spirit... according to some, just to compete with high end survivors. Hell no. I want a normal killer that can hang. And he does that by removing that BS that is free unhooks that survivors feel entitled to for whatever messed up reason.
He should get buffed to avoid notorious facecamping.
- Monstrous Shrine should be basekit
- New Special ability: Back To Home
Each hooked survivor in the basement will trigger Killer Instinct on any walking or running Survivors within his hook range of 16 metres, revealing their outlines to Bubba. Push the CTRL button to send Bubba back to the basement.

I'm excited to see killer mains say no to this idea.
But point is, as soon as one of these killers (especially trapper) gets one into the basement, you're either stuck on gens or left to leave that person to die... and you know what. Solo que, people don't leave them to die and it's quite annoying to know as soon as someone else goes to save them, the games over and killer wins. It's basically inevitable. I think basement is fine, but with teammates that don't really understand to leave the person alone until they are in the absolute CLEAREST CLEAR. Do not get them! Sheesh.
You can't take away a Bubba's natural environment. Shame on you!

Dead Hard should be removed, although I play it often. I don't care about NOED and I don't know why people are still complaining about it, but I don't mind if it's removed either because I'll never play it. I don't like endgame perks because I prefer perks that are useful throughout the match.

Trapper - I run into every f*cking trap when I play against Trapper and scare me every time. I rarely meet him, but when I do, it's on Swamp or Yamaoka. Trapper is my final boss, my nemesis, my kryptonite. I know he is actually weak, but it is more of a psychological thing. In the early days of DBD Ive played a lot against TheEntityLeftHand and he destroyed me in every match :'D
Huntress and Trickster - I literally hate playing against them. They're the only range attack killers that don't fit into the game. 95% of all Huntress and Trickster players are notorious proximity/face campers and they are very annoying to play against.

In this game, the survivors can do their best to escape (as they should) and are not called "toxic" for it, but if the killer tunnels, camps and slugs for a 4k or 3k, or if the killer ever plays to get kills, he is considered a "sweaty" axhole who "just plays for wins" and toxic for being "unfun" and "boring" for the survivors; if the killer just get 2k or 1k or no kills, he will get mocked in the endgame chat with people bragging about how superior they are while calling the killer a "loser" and saying a bunch of things to make him feel bad. In the endgame chat, why be the most angry and extremely offensive person to the person playing killer? As if you NEVER had an escape before.
The killer should not camp in any way possible, should not bring "unfun" perks for the survivors, the killer should simply play killer "just to enjoy the chase" and "not caring for kills", sort of shaming the killer for playing optimally or the way he want; again, camping at 5 gens is not "toxic", tunneling to guarantee the kill is not "toxic", slugging for the 4k is not "toxic" and the killer is not the worst human being on the world in real life just because he played in a way in a online videogame. And no, camping does NOT need nerf, all of the other killer strategies are already dead with the new meta and camping only works depending on the situation and determined by how experienced the survivors are. Even then, the killer should play how he wants without being shamed for it, be him a basement bubba or a killer that simply uses noed to feel more safe.
The survivors can play the way they want to escape or whatever, the same can be applied to the killer, is simple as that. People already shame killers on youtube a lot, like making compilations thrasing on the performance of killers while bragging indirectly. But it seems that the behavior is encouraged.
I personally defend the killer on the endgame chat when i play survivor (i mostly play survivor), i don´t see how the mob mentality against a side of the game with the least mains is considered appropriate.
No person is above the survivor's rulebook for killers. Even not the devs and mods of BHVR. Shame on you. How dare you?
59 votes and 20 comments so far on RedditTo be fair. I am equally insulted for my playstyle (survivor and killer). But I don't really take it seriously.

I love your artworks. This is exactly my experience with Mikaela's in Solo Q 😂 Meanwhile I refuse to play with CoH. There is always at least one survivor who only does bones. And sometimes people selfcaring themselves 2 meters outside of my CoH radius... Did you have fun? 0/5

Why not both? But be careful. People might call you horny.

I know, but you forgot a little detail: they choose the founds to use in each aspect of the game (and regarding the reports and bugfix they aren't exactly great to put it lightly)
I don't know why some changes to DBD take so long and on what basis some decisions are made. At the end of the day, we can only speculate.
Cosmetics are made one way or another. So Im asking for a feng min crop top ☺️
