Today was a long day at work, and I just got home (midnight in Europe) to try out the 2v8 mode. I think adding Nemesis and Wesker is pretty cool. We know that matches with disconnects will not be counted. But what about matches where the players give up straight away and don't seriously finish the match (hook suicide, trolling)? The following situation: Your team messed up, 3+ gens are left and your last mate is hooked. Do you unhook your mate? In most cases I dont see any sense in doing so. If I'm the guy on the hook, I'll let myself die. For me, the killer has already won the match at this point. It is very unlikely that both survivors will still escape. Yes, I have to rant for a moment. No, this is no 'us vs them', no 'cats vs dogs' here. I played the Doc yesterday between 9:00pm and 12:00am and encountered many strong survivors. So far so good. But unfortunately in 4 matches I noticed people who used a speedhack. I don't usually play killer at this time and I know the teams are a lot better at this time than when I'm playing at 5pm. I just got hit by a Knight early in the match and had about 7 seconds of Speed Burst. In any case, it was enough to cross the map and escape the killer. This is the second time something like this has happened to me in my DBD career. (The first time was at the PTB when Blight was released. Nothing new but I'm still impressed with how well the bots work. Generating an AI that has to work on so many different maps (+ all the perks and different killers) is anything but easy. To be honest, the bots are better than my average teammates in the Solo Q 😂 They may not be much of a challenge for experienced killers, but they are good training for new ones. I don't mean in terms of new bugs. I mean in terms of balancing after the meta shake. Almost every match I've played has had at least one DC, usually resulting in a 4K. I don't get the point of people playing on PTB just to disconnect every single match. If so many people aren't playing the game seriously, isn't the collected data kind of useless? Can we get the option to spend all bloodpoints at once? Some kind of all-in button? Or a kind of shop where I can choose the items myself? Right now I'm spending a lot more time in the bloodweb simulator than in the match. Spending the BP in the bloodweb just takes way too long. It's just a guess, but I think a lot of the really good players are taking a break or have quit. I remember times when I played with or against survivors who were far better than me. And I remember times when killers tried to mindgame me and didnt hardcore camp/ tunnel at 5 gens. But that is long time ago. The kill stats from september confirm me. I've noticed since the last patch that some outfits now have chest physics that previously didn't. The opposite is true for other skins. I don't have all the Kate skins because my heart still goes first and foremost to Min and Jeff. Maybe someone likes to add to my list. Are there any secret changes to the MMR in progress or is it temporarily disabled? I've noticed repeated complaints about MMR and Solo Q over the past few days. Also, I feel like the MMR isn't there at the moment. In Solo Q I mostly have bad teammates and killers, it's rarely the other way around. I'm very excited about most of the changes and can't wait to try them out on the next PTB. I play both sides equally in DBD and these are my first thoughts on the changes (and certainly not the final ones): Pros: The new prestige system just sounds great and will save me a lot of grind. Actually, the title says it all. I like playing Killer and Solo Q. I don't always feel like playing with other people (SWF). That's why I'm offline on Steam when I launch it. There is nothing worse for me. I can't tell you how many times I've ended up getting killed because some dude thought it was a great idea not to open the gates all the way. As a killer, I often get an additional kill because the injured survivor runs into a 99% door. When will they ever learn it?!!! I just had a solo Q match where I juked the killer for 5+ minutes. My most played killers are Wraith, Myers, Doctor, Old Freddy and prenerf Nurse. Except nurse, Id consider them to be not that great at high mmr. Sometimes I believe Im the only one in my country who is playing them at high mmr. I really love to play the underdogs <3 Same to Twins, Artist and Deathslinger. In Solo Q Ive ended up in noob hell. I probably have an MMR of -5000. Actually I'm a happy DBD Main and play Killer and Survivor (6k+ hours) and have never complained about the Solo Q experience or anything else. In fact, I actually preferred playing solo to SWF because I love challenges. As a killer and survivor player who spent thousands of hours in DBD I'd suggest to set the BBQ aura reading ability and the perk "kindred" as base kit. "Kindred" is an awesome perk for solo survivors, but not many people are using it. Change my mind, but in my opinion Ghostface is the weakest killer in DBD by far. I can perform with every single killer well, even against strong SWF at rank 1. Ive watched a lot of streamers playing him and Ive also tested many builds. Nothing works for me. Why does BT activate even if the killer has the undetectable status? According to the its description, the unhooker must still be within the terror radius for BT to be activated. Hello dear developers and moderators, your Game Rules state that disconnects are bannable. So far so good. What about people who leave a game via Esc + "Leave Game"-Button? This is not a disconnect for me, but can be abused just like one (eg Killer/ Survivor dont like the Map). Is this also bannable? And if it is bannable ... why give you this option to the user?
