Lets take this to the basement.
I'll bring the whipped cream and chocolate syrup.

Yes Daddy Michael, spank me more <3
-
Sure, just increase the amount of totems to 10.
-
Anyone asking for the gap between solo and swf is asking to make the game easier. No one is forced to pair up into 4 man teams. The game wasn't designed to have communication, if you want to bridge the game then the developers need to rework the game from the ground up.
As for totems, you are not obligated to feel relaxed knowing that you did all 5 totems. There is supposed to be some doubt so you could possibly waste some time looking for totems that may have already been cleansed. You are just making excuses to make things easier for solo play. Sweaty Killers are going to play sweaty no matter what. Survivors searching for totems will not change that.

Has nothing to do with "dumbing it down" you're comparing randomness to skill as if counting a totem requires skill. A full 4 man team has this information without a totem counter, and so what if they "know the count" it forces people to look for totems if they still have 1 sneaky totem they haven't found instead of gen rushing.
You don’t need a totem counter since it doesn’t require skill to count. Everyone who is asking for a totem counter is asking for the devs to make the game easier, with less risk, and less responsibility for players.
The randomness in games is a good thing. The problem isn’t the totems, the problem is bad teammates. If you don’t like the randoms you’re paired up against, you could always make friends and play swf.
-
No need to dc, if your opponent is super toxic or if there is no hope for the match, just Alt+tab to YouTube. They can watch you bleed out while you get a snack and watch DbD funny videos
-
Freddy mainly because I hate being in the dream world and having to run across the entire map to wake up.
I actually like facing a variety of Killers. I just don’t enjoy certain players whose goal is to make people miserable, like facecampers that start camping at 5 gens.
-
I used to hate Jake and Bill because I thought they looked super smug. Now I think their cute and don’t really hate anyone, especially since I play survivor mostly and see them as my teammates.
Only ones I hate are people who are over confident and go out of their way to annoy the Killer. Lost so many matches because they kept feeding themselves to the hook.

I’ve been waiting for BBQ&Chili since November. So I would think you will have to wait a long time.

Good! More and more Piggies won't let me boop their snoot before having their way with my body. They deserve to be nerfed into the ground until they change their ways and share their snoots.

I could agree with this if they had a totem counter in game since solos have no way to tell each other how many totems they've done.
You're not supposed to know. There needs to be some uncertainty since destroying a totem completely removes a killers perk. You can always wait till gens are finished if counting is too difficult and then just cleanse the lit totem. Not everything in the game needs to be dumbed-down.
-
How about something made up of humans like The Thing. They could model it using multiple survivors.

So you think a perk that needs absolutely no input and comes up as a game changer in late game is a good thing? ROFL
It requires the Killer to play with 3 perks for 95% of the match. If the Killer was good and dominated throughout the match, NoEd wouldn't matter. If the Killer was bad then the Survivors shouldn't have had any trouble looping the Bad Killer while their teammates cleansed totems and repaired generators. If you or your team couldn't do anything against Bad Killers, that just makes you all just as bad.
NoEd has an easy counter. Survivors who complain about it just don't want to give up a perk slot to counter it. Either that or are just too lazy do cleanse totems.
-
The whole point of playing Survivor is to struggle and persevere against a powerful Killer. Stop asking for the game to be made easier.
-
No need for a rework. The current iteration of NoEd is fine and it’s powers completely lies in the hands of Survivors.
Everyone who has a problem with NoEd just wants an easier game. It’s not difficult to learn totem spots, nor is it difficult to use perks to help you find them or even to bring in maps. You can even use a perk that increases the odds to find maps in chests.
Totems are a secondary objective. It is needed in order to slow the game down a bit. You don’t have to do them, just don’t complain about it when it bites you in the ass.
Before anyone says bad killers rely on NoEd, ask yourself why is it so hard to cleanse totems if they’re bad? You should have plenty of time to search them out if they’re as bad as you say they are.

I like Claudette as well. She has a face that tells me that she is a very kind person. I also like her cosmetics, too bad it causes killers to hate me 😭.
I used to hate hag due to her low point of view, but now I love her. I quit playing killer for a few months and yesterday I got back into it for some dailies that were collecting dust. Oh happy days! She's so fun to terrorize people. I also love building my Great Wall of Hag where I place all my traps in one spot and hear the same survivor screaming over and over.
-
For Survivors:
- Rapid Back Flips- backflip to safety upon taking damage. You become immune to all attacks while back flipping. You will cease to back flip when Killer starts a new chase. Works once per match.
- Camp no more- When a Killer camps while there are still 3 or more genterators, the Survivor will fly kick the killer in the face, stunning them for 7 seconds allowing them to safely unhook.
For Killers:
- Maniacal Laughter- You cackle with glee after landing an attack. Your laughter sends a chill down the spines of all nearby survivors, causing them to stop all action and to flee in terror.
- Black Hole- You place a black hole onto a generator after damaging it. The black hole prompts the survivor with an extremely difficult skill check. Failing the skill check causes the survivor to be teleported to the furthest completed generator.

Not every survivor needs be attractive. I just want a blond male survivor by default and an old lady!
Most of the male characters aren't what I would call attractive, Jake is the only one with a decent face and Adam is just plain old cute. Quentin is nightmare fuel. Give me a sexy blond male, I'll be happy with that.
Next female should be an old lady or Mother Russia from Kickass2.

I think if we bring them both have cool down effect (like 30sec)
- Premonition: if players camera at Killer direction for 1sec, it activated
- Spine chill: if Killer camera at players direction for 1sec, it activated
Both perk will be equal
But that will nerf Spine chill that Survivors will not like it. Think about buff Premonition abit and nerf Spine chill abit, with their side effect perhaps
Spine Chill is fine as is. It just gives you an idication that the Killer is heading to you. It doesn't tell you what direction they're coming from and Killers can counter it by moon walking.

Either that or tunneled even harder :D
With my luck, the Killer will just lodge his weapon into me for the rest of the match ☹️

I leave survivors that:
- take me to an infinite
- take me away from the last generators
- have pink hair and play nea
- are prestige 3 claudette with flashlight
- take me to the meat tree
- take me to the middle house in disturbed ward
So what you are telling me is if I play P3 Claudette with a flashlight, I won't get tunneled anymore? Yay!

On pc its not that noticeable? LOL
Pc version is full of trolls. Survivors who bodyblock, killers and survivors that work together to chase down everyone else, and killers that insist on forcing people to bleed out.
As long as the trolls have their fun though the devs remain adamant that they “did a pretty good job so far” with the penalties. I mean disconnects are down so its all good right? Problem solved!
We are playing different games then. I rarely see Survivors sandbag/bodyblock one another. In the last month, only once have I had someone work with the Killer to kill me, and maybe 1 out of 10 games do I get a high mobile killer like Oni with Infectious Fright 4 man slug my group and even then, I haven't ever experienced a Killer letting us bleed out, unless it's because they don't have BBQ and can't find me.
Most of my trouble in the game is I play solo and either I have idiot teammates who unhook with the Killer still there, hide in a corner across the map while I am cussing at them to come unhook me before I get to second stage, or from my own lack of ability to loop (yea, I'm bad 😭).
-
Such a cute little good boy!
-
Survivors need to make it a universal rule to wiggle your arms while on hook if the killer is camping. If I know its a Leatherface I don't even attempt to go near the basement unless i know he is in a chase.
-
Lucky Laurie, Claudette seems to be a tunnel and camp magnet. It's a shame because I really like her and never play toxic, yet I'm often tunneled.

Extremely Survivor Biased, best to not engage and save yourself from the trouble.

The words "sweaty" and "toxic" are on the same page in my dictionary and have the same meaning.
All in all, I did reference toxicity in survivors that is bad for killers but you stopped reading, so it's your fault entirely.
You reference toxicity in survivors while you blatantly accuse killers of being entitled. If you wanted to have a good discussion, you wouldn't have to put either side down and just discuss the issue. You show your bias in the beginning and expect people to take what you write seriously. You even tell people to shut up in your wall of text, so why should anyone have any interest in what you write?
-
I stopped reading when they insulted killer mains as sweaty but had nothing similar to reference survivors.

Then remove flashlight and add rocket s2000 that destroy killer’s ass when fired. Lol we need a counter to everything dude.
I would love that, but I'd like to be able to use it while I am hooked. I would also like it to lock on my teammates who are just crouching and doing nothing in a bush.
-
Killer rule, if a slugged survivor spins for me after i spin in place in front of them, I let them live.
Survivor rule, try not to be toxic and offer the killer my item at the gate if the game was fun.

I've always liked to play this game casually, even when I grinded it. I most find that survivors are the ones to initiate the sweaty-tryhardness.

I just think it'd be better if you could only heal yourself with a medkit, and make a change to self care makes it so that others heal you faster, or make self care a one-time use.
No, as much as it can suck, a self care is needed in solo games where you are constantly paired with potatoes. I don't think the Devs would ever remove it from the game.
-
I think it should be merged with Botany.
-
The onus is on you to have a reliable connection when playing online multiplayer games, not the developers. If you have a problem with your router, get a job and buy a new one or stop playing and ruining the experience of other players. How are they supposed to distinguish you Dcing from the match due to a crap router or you turning it off or pulling out your Ethernet cable? Should they just remove the penalties for the tiny few gamers who can't secure a good connection and let people ruin other peoples games?
-
-
Just dodge the lobby if you suspect them of being a swf or just hide in the basement and open the gates for them. SWF isn't going away since it makes a sizable chunk of the player base.
-
The only reason I hate her is because most, not all, just tunnel hooks. They have the speed to get anywhere they need to be, but they always choose to tunnel.
I do think she is strong, but I don't think she needs any changes, I rather face a chill Spirit vs Freddy any day.

Well, they are not congratulated for being toxic by other killer players, and everyone I know talk negatively about camping. Sure, they choose to do so, but they are not treated the same as survivor's toxicity.
Even then, survivors have many tools to dealing with a camping killer whereas killers dont have the same tools with toxic survivors.
Don't get me wrong, both are bad. It is just that the way we reward one bad behavior but punish the other is a ridiculous double standard.
I agree on your point. There is a double standard that isn't going away, but I like to at least point out a biased survivor when I see one. So many people complain about camping, tunneling and slugging, but refuse to admit that maybe they're just as bad at the game as the Killers who employ those tactics. As you said, they have the tools that can help them waste a killers time if they used them properly, but that isn't enough, they need to be able to have 4 people survive in order to consider it a win, yet they put killers down when a killer wants to get a 4k.
-
I won’t be satisfied until Dwight gets short shorts like Kate and a shirtless cosmetic that displays his chest hair. He also needs a short mid drift shirt.
-
I can't 360 nor can I loop very well ( I have problems looking back while running and issues with my left hand and arm) and yet, I do fine in red ranks as long as my solo teammates aren't idiots. It is a team game and not everyone on the team needs to know how to loop or 360 like a pro in order to be considered a good player.
People who unhook when it is safe to do so, work on gens while the killer is in a chase, cleanse totems, actually try to make their way towards someone who is hooked (rather than just sit in a bush), looks for NoEd or Devour the second it activates, take a hit for someone or body blocks a hook are what I consider a good player.
Survivors who know how to mindgame loops and make the Killer quit chase, juke the Killers M1 repeatedly, and do all the above are what I call Very Good Players.
