Claudette because I think she’s the nicest person in the game and she doesn’t deserve all the hate that she gets. I recently switched back from Dwight to Claudette and I have noticed a big difference in how Killers treat her. I get camped, tunneled and moried the second that they can do it. With Dwight, I can sometimes get a little mercy by doing a little butt dance.
I know it’s not a lore reason, but she needs a break.
As for killers, I don’t really follow the lore, but I like Susie. Most players who play her seem to be really cool and rarely tunnel or camp unless they have to.
-
I like Spine Chill more. It lets me know that the killer is heading towards me and the I need to move. Also, it helps do gens faster if they're being looped near by.
-
the forums should have my little pony artwork as the background, all killer models should be replaced with a unique my little pony and survivors should be replaced with carebears.
-
This isn’t Comic-sans, this is an ancient script that was used in times long past.
-
They should just remove both from the game but give killers the option to mori someone on death hook.
-
I thought it was a bug, didn't realize that it was a joke.
-
I partially agree. Some like Clown and Trapper need reworks rather than buffs, all the old maps need to be redone to be more neutral and some of the larger ones need to be shrunk a little and the devs need to take 6 months to a year on focusing on improving the games code and ironing out bugs and improving connections.
-
I rather Chucky or a Mummy. We also need a sexy muscular male that has a higher polygon count than david.
-
The Killer would be a giant brussel sprout that has been over cooked. Its mori would be force feeding you until your stomach explodes.

Knew I could count on a fell DBD community member to shed some light and knowledge on why it's invalid and ridiculous.
Ignore his comments, he is extremely survivor biased and won't be happy until Killers are nerfed down to a single survivors power.
-
That’s funny because most of my matches have been against tryhard killers who proxy camp the hook and then just tunnel the crap out of the unhooked.
I was thinking to switch to Killer just so I can play nice and farm a bit.

Hey, me too!
OK, A fork in the path and I lost the killer! Surely I am safe choosing [Insert Path I chose]!
OH #########! I STUMBLED RIGHT INTO THE KILLER!!!!
Repeat until I am dead :D
The odds for it to happen increase by 100 if im going against Ghost Face or Daddy Meyers
-
I am a potato, especially against stealth Killers. Here I am, urban evading around a bush so the killer doesn't see me and all of a sudden, I walk into the killer.
Mindgames? Ha! I confuse myself every match.
I embrace my potatoeyness, at least I am delicious.
-
Never heard of him.
I hope the next killer is a Mummy.
-
This happens to me often too, but I brush it off because I do it by accident as well and don’t know if it’s being done to me on purpose or not. If it’s obvious my teammate is a douche throughout the match and does it constantly, I’ll go into blend mode the second spinechill activates rather than wait a little.
-
I used to think Survivors who complained about campers and tunnelers were just whiny babies, but after a few days of playing this game with the lock down that we are in, 6/8 games have campers and tunnelers. It's just making the game miserable and makes me switch to killer and play nice and meme around with survivors.

Claudette really is the best, I just wish killers didn't hate her so much.

And frustrating is the name of the game. I haven't been able to do it often but it is pure joy to kill a hook right in front of the face of a killer as they tried to hook the survivor. I can just imagine their rage.
Why do you consider it fun to frustrate someone else? People like you are the reason online gaming is so toxic.
-
Do you want a challenge? Do you want the Killer to hate you? Do you want to give the Killer increased eye strain? Then Claudette is the one you seek.
-
Spirit, HillBilly, Crusty Cowboy. Most of them just proxy camp the hook and tunnel the second someone unhooks.
Freddy, I just hate. He’s like a magnet to me, I turn my back and he’s there, I can never escape him.

I literally removed the hook from the killer and she still had time to get to another hook and in that same time the hook I got rid of came back and she put me on it. I mean it is not nearly as bad as it use to be. I remember breaking hooks and they were gone for what seemed like forever. I mean the respawn rate on these hooks now are so fast it would take a team of smart SWF to use Sabo right and even then just go to another hook.
I mean don't killers have a way to break repaired gens? You just kick it right? It is kind of the same as the 30 second respawn on hooks now. The kick does about the same amount of damage then add Pop or one of those other perks, heck even as broke as Hex Ruin is if a survivor leaves the gen for even a small bit a ton of progress is undone.
I never complain anymore just FYI but just was wondering why Sabo is considered OP when I see killers pretty much at this point who even as two hooks gets broke can handle things. I think you are right though it may need to be used in the right setup with a SABO team but with the cooldown now being at a minimum 60 seconds, the respawn rate of hooks coming back so fast kind of balances it out now.
Thank you for sharing your opinion and input with me. =)
No, killers can’t break repaired generators. They can knock off some progress from ones being worked on, but once the generator is completed the killer can do nothing to it.
Whereas, if a Killer does everything perfectly in a chase, the Survivors can still out play them by breaking hooks in their face. Hooks are something that the Killer absolutely needs, and on maps like the swamp, they can be far apart enough to where a sabotage will negate all of a killers work.
I think it’s on par with Keys and Moris, all of them provide too much grief and none should have ever been introduced.
-
Because it completely negates a killers ability to do their job. Sabotaging is something that should have never been introduced into the game. It is extremely frustrating for a killer to either outplay a survivor in a chase, or even just eventually catch them after getting looped forever only to have the hooks removed right in front of their face.
Imagine if the devs gave killers the ability to completely break down fully powered generators, what would the response to that be? It may not be as severe as that, but the emotion would be similar. Playing killer is stressful enough, add in sabo squads (that know what they’re doing) on top of everything they have to deal with, most would probably stop playing after a bit.
-
It destroyed my income, my car broke down, and I may have to go back to my old job which I really don't want to do. I got a tooth infection that no one was open to see and have been suffering for the last three days, though I am better now. I hope a walmart truck runs over my foot soon, i need a nice long vacation.

Yeah, Hugo and Marty very obviously LOVE what they do over at ID and it's something that I think is infectious. It was a pleasure seeing them live at PAX East this year.
If you don't like the horror side you might like the Resistance mode. I suggest looking at some gameplay from, well, Ohmwrecker! xD
I didn't realize Ohm tried RE3, you gave me something to watch, thanks!
Dbd has gotten very tedious for me and so many people want to derive fun through their opponents misery, I have just gotten so tired of it. It's nice to see other companies coming out with alternatives like RE Resistance. Now I just need to win the lotto so I can buy everything.
-
You shouldn't force yourself to keep playing something that you no longer enjoy. I recently finished leveling up all of my unlocked characters and am finding little reason to play beyond 2-3 matches a day vs playing 3-5 hours a day that I used to. I'm currently looking at other games to try out, its a big gaming world out there, you shouldn't limit yourself to just this one.
Once you take a nice break, you may want to come back and the game may be in a better place. If you like fps, Doom Eternal looks really fun.
-
I’m not an fps player but I watched a Doom Eternal gameplay video and it looks pretty fun. The devs of that game obviously put a lot of time and care into it.
Resident Evil 3 looks terrifying as well, I’m not one for horror so I doubt I’ll get into it. Only reason I play Dbd is because of watching Ohmwrecker.

stores are out of lysol, bleach, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, bottled water, and a bunch of other things. shampoo is started to fly off the shelves so i’m gonna buy a bunch of my brand because i’d rather not have dirty hair. 🙂
another fun note is I have an interview for a stocking job tomorrow, i’ll most likely get it because stocking is needed but i’m betting on overtime the first day so that’s funnn.
I did stocking for 10 months at Walmart, let me tell you that it is the most boring job I have ever had. When you start doing 'top stock' get ready to have your eyes roll out of their sockets.

As a killer, I'll do this if the other survivor is playing really stealthy. Like I had a Meg a few days ago, in which I never saw the entire game. So I showed david where hatch was and went looking for Meg... Took 4 minutes, but I found her, downed her, hooked her. The David saved her, I downed her, she DC'ed... David got hatch.
I get playing stealthy is a playstyle and all, but all it really does is make me want to kill you more and more the longer the game goes and I don't see you.
For me, it depends on the stealth player. Are they doing objectives, or are they just a bush? Bushes must be set on fire.

dead hard isnt a second chance perk tho
Does it allow you to avoid a hit that should have landed?
Does it allow you to gain distance and make it to the next pallet in a chase where otherwise you would never make it without it?
Sounds like a second chance to me.

Daisy Dukes Dwight would slay
I know! I’ve been wanting it since I was introduced to Dwight! I don’t know why they haven’t made it yet.
-
I want a speedo David and a daisy duke Dwight plz.
-
Its because I am bad and rely on stealth and since he can see me better in dream world, I get caught easily ;_;
-
I wonder how bad it will be when the new sabo changes arrive.
-
I would just go hide in the Killers lounge and protect my chest for the rest of the match. They'll speed through the gens and if they choose not to open the doors you could venture out to open them and run right back. Some games I've had more fun protecting my chest rather than running around getting pallet stunned, blinded and t-bagged while I consider my life choices.

Yeah sorry to burst your bubble there homey, but killers aren't complete idiots.
We are intimately aware that self-care is shall we say "fallen out of the meta" and thus, most survivors like to use med kits to compensate.
So yes, we're going to take that precious medkit away, because then that means you have to go find a companion to heal with, and that's two people not doing gens.
Seriously though, out of all the perks survivors whine about, this was refreshing in an odd way, I mean Franklin's demise? Really?
They wont be satisfied until Killers are reduced to 80% run speed and get teleported to the other side of the map if they manage to M1 a survivor.
-
I mentioned that I wanted a bright daylight map and lo and behold the new map is both of those things, though I wanted a cemetery.
I asked for a lasso cowboy type killer and for a Mortal Kombat Scorpion type killer and they gave us the cowboy with harpoon and chain.
I'm still waiting for Shirtless Meyers, Daisy Duke Dwight, Mummy/Zombie Killer with Egyptian theme, and Speedo David.

An end game totem perk would have to be as strong as NOED to be viable as an end game totem perk. And NOED has made it clear that entitled survivor mains will whine like all hell at a viable end game hex perk.
Good thing is that the Devs seem to be content with NoEd, so the babies can whine all they want.
-
Look at that cute little tummy!
-
Yes, but I just need to farm enough Blood Points to finish leveling my last 2 killers and please my OCD. Luckily, I can play survivor and not stress while farming.
I'm just starting to get into fighting games now and I can't believe how much I missed playing Dead or Alive. I'm waiting for Tekken 7 and MK11 to go on sale too.
-
I actually uninstalled from how frustrating playing killer was and because I thought my steam wish list games were on sale. Turns out the email was older than I thought (I don't check my gaming email often enough) and since I am frugal, I am back playing Dbd until the games I want are back on sale. I won't touch Killer any more, playing survivor and meming with Killers is still somewhat enjoyable.
-
I'd rather it turn the basement into a monster when someone gets hooked down there.
-
No, that type of body blocking is not reportable. The only body blocking that is reportable is if you block someone into a corner and they have no way to escape and play the game.

Playing against better players than you will force you to learn and improve. Trust me I've been there.
Also, not gonna tell you how you should play, but the sooner you drop NOED and learn to stop relying on it for kills, the faster you will get better.
I hate this stupid response.
It wouldn't be fun for a novice wrestler to be consistently put up against John Cena. Sure, one or two matches can be entertaining, but it gets old very quickly with how often it happens, especially on the weekends.
And FYI, not everyone wants to get to rank 1 and get better, some people just want to be able to pick up the game and casually play.
-
Get used to it. Killers are a dying breed and the Survivors need to be provided with a victim to bully so the match making will pair up anyone who is available.
I recommend you dodge all lobbies that have even 1 item, bright multicolored clothes, bright hair or quads of the same character, especially blendettes. Don't play weak killers and stick to Spirit or Billy. Play Hag or Bubba for camping potential.
Make the game fun for you, forget about following survivor rules - play how you want, not how they want.
-
-
If I saw that as Killer I would just slug that survivor and let them bleed out. I'll let everyone else escape, unless they try to pick him up.
