If you had it at 80 % it would take 160 seconds to get reset which is two full gens
Wrong. 80%=64seconds.
It would take 128 seconds.
-
Kinda but... it's random. π€·ββοΈ
Sometimes you just see a lot of something
-
Probably the best choice from the RE monsters to be in the game. I mean...who doesn't know who nemesis is?
RE is also the most well known horror game franchise... probably... I can't think of another one that famous.
It would also open the door to more game franchises. So overall, I think it would be good.
-
On killer games...toolboxes... lots of them.
Survivor side it's pretty much the same since I play solo. Only no ruin.
-
Almost 100% of the matches since the servers.
-
Well... I kinda wanna see all of it :p
But a completion rate would be nice

nah, so then they should remove ebony mori and that's not gonna happen
You wanna give firecrackers to killer?
-
I wouldn't mind if it appeared in the bloodweb.
We can always take the mist ones away XD
-
The right answer is whoever they think they will like.
But if you wanna be strategic about it... get bubba because bbq helps so much with the grind.
-
Servers are better than p2p to me personally.
We would need to learn how many people are better or worse off with the servers before taking them down.

Boiler room? That's the basement of the school right? Or am I being stupid?
It is.
The pallet there is super safe
-
I like them. Overall pretty good.
I don't like the fence/school loop.
The pallet in the boiler room is super safe and so is the basement one.
Personally, the biggest problem with the basement house is that window in front of the stairs. If that's open the loop is too good.
But again, still think it's pretty good overall

I don't think he should get an increased number that he can carry. He should start with all his traps though.
That more of a "let's take time and really look into trapper" kind of change. His addons would require looking into, and possibily even change the way he goes about setting traps.
I'm proposing a more "gentle" approach.
@AvisDeene said:
He should be able to carry 3 as baseline. His start up is too slow and with the ruin change it will be worse.
Same as above. That would require the devs to really look into trapper, his addons and whatnot. And they have a busy squedule.

Until you spend like 40 seconds setting up traps, you're playing a M1 killer.

There definitely wouldn't be any time to slip it into 3.5.0 at this point. On a personal note, I wouldn't be against it. I can't guarantee that it'll happen, but you've got my thumbs up.
Well... the 3.5.0 part was a long shot, it's pretty much right here already. π
Thanks for the reply. π
I hope the rest of the dev team agrees aswellπ

If they increase the amount of carried traps, they should add a dead area around pallets.
I'm tired of all those "smart" trappers, trapping every pallet.
Would make it even easier if they start with more than one by default.
No, they shouldn't.
Do you actually fall for those? Whenever I do that it gets disarmed unless I herd someone there fast.
Not what I'm asking for.
-
I like the 4 swf idea. Not sure on the 3 man one. Why doesn't the killer get bonus bp in the 4 man scenario?
Also...why does survivor A have OoO?
-
Never saw it besides people trying to get adept. Including myself
-
If you don't mind. Can you record yourself playing as both characters?
Would help the "you're bad at X" argument to see if you play optimally or not.
-
I've gotten all 4 survivors in deep wounds in less than 30 seconds. Because they happened to be together. Fun π
-
I don't think so.
It's a win harder perk. Meaning it only really helps when you ate already winning.
But doesn't do much to help you make a comeback.
-
It's not about where you want it to be. It's about where it should be.
Feedvack and suggestions go in feedback and suggestions, polls go into polls, bugs go into the bugs section... etc
-
You do realize you are the one putting those limitations on your your perk choices...right?

This is probably what happened. The reason for the deletion was in the Q&A post itself. It was off-topic so it got deleted.
...I'm kinda jealous of your pfp... wish we could pick something more personalized.
-
See a survivor going for the unhook. Phase towards the hook. M1
-
Really bad start with demogorgon.
All gens get finished and I have 1 guy on basement. I go away because of reasons.
Teleport back at the right time. And hit the rescuer.
All the survivors realize I just got my 3rd stack of devour hope.
I end with 3 sacrifices
-
I think the silliest thing I did with randoms... was one time where the killer downed and picked up someone, and we all started bodyblocking. And the killer hit all of us, but we persevered. I think 2 people were downed...maybe just 1... but we immediatly body blocked again when he picked whoever from the ground. (Including the person that wiggled free from the first bodyblocking...barrage? Calling it barrage now.
The end result was everyone on the ground... it was really stupid. π€£
Another thing was when I got into a lobby as bill. And then one guy switched to bill. And then the other, and then the other. We weren't on coms, but in my head I was going "hello bill, I'm bill. We gotta help bill finish that gen"
"Oh no bill! Bill is on the ground! You finish the gen bill, I'll help bill off the hook"
Fun times.

I think they have mentioned new killers will have them and reworked killers will have them. So unless the killer gets a rework they are unlikely to get their own music, at least for the foreseeable future.
I think I remember seeing peanits say all killers will get them, just 1 at a time.
-
I already mostly don't use ruin (some killers got bad luck on the bloodweb). So I'm mostly unnafected.
There's no reason to not play killer. Unless it's at night. The servers don't like me a lot during the night π€·ββοΈ

Let him know that you're a person too, you care about him but he might be insecure and demands you, just saying this out of concern because my sister's used to be ex-boyfriend was manipulative and kept her away from her family, he said he changed and all of that after their fight when she was drunk, he kicked her out barefoot in the snowy roads an hour away from home and claimed that he threw her stuff out though he said it was at his house actually and she would have to get it, physical altercations occurred, now she's back with him after his fabrications of how he was better, took anger management, became Christian, all of these things to bring her back and make her leave her current boyfriend who did everything her ex couldn't and cared about us, instead she wanted to stay friends, I believe nothing has changed and she'll get used and abused again, he's knowledgeable and uses that to his advantage and she's a fool, in which he is a deceiver.
Not trying to make it all serious but I care when I say that relationships where the other is clingy and needy, those usually ends bad or someone actually changes.
My sister was in a bad relationship once too. It never excalated like your sister's one but, it was still pretty bad. And she also got back to him after a breakup fight. And then broke up again after a little while.
Thankfully, she knows better now. She's happily married and her husband is a cool dude.

How did I ######### up so wrong, I am a girl that plays DBD that has a boyfriend that is so needy he takes away from my DBD or tries to play it with me, at which rate I get infuriated because he never listens to me and is trash π
It honestly feels like me and my gf when we tryed playing RE revelations 2 together. But we managed to finish it. Short sessions of play because she gets too tense, and it also took longer because she's pretty bad with videogames, but we completed it.
And she also got angry when I tried to tell her what to do, because looking to the right is not as intuitive as I think and I skipped all the simple things when explaining stuff.
I would suggest finding assimetric games to play, like re revelations and the puppetter(not 100% certain on the name) where you do most of the leg work. They still participate and help do stuff, but you can cover for it.

At the risk of getting into an argument, I'll point out that when I was a new player (so speaking for myself, not anyone else), Ruin would have really thrown me for a loop.
For my first... I don't know... ten games or more, I couldn't even reliably find generators. I just assumed everyone else knew where they were because they had memorized the maps. I didn't know about the procedural map generator.
I am certain that in the panic that ensued when the Killer approached I would not have noticed that little "zap" effect when you leave a gen under new Ruin. I did not know generators regressed over time; I thought a kick caused instantaneous damage, not damage over time.
So I stand by my assertion that many (maybe even most) new players (let's say for their first 10 games) will have trouble with new Ruin, partially because they probably won't even know it's happening. At the very least, they'll underestimate its effect.
It's very easy to forget as an experienced player how shallow* the learning curve is for this game. It's especially easy to misunderstand how hard it is to learn for some players if you're an exceptional type who read all the perk text on the tally screen their first couple games and came up to speed more quickly. :) I regularly see posts like "Man, I been in this game for 2000 hours and I just figured out that the perks are alphabetized in the menu!" (true story, that one)
Even so, this was not the only reason we changed Ruin. Let's recall that I gave three reasons in the dev notes. Two of them were "The passive nature of the gameplay pressure it provides means that there is a huge amount of potential with very little effort or risk on behalf of The Killer," and "Its inconsistency due to the random nature of the appearance interval of skill checks."
*When people say "Steep learning curve", that's backward. Learning curves are time spent on the X-axis, and skill on the Y-axis. If you have to play a long time to get good, then the improvement line is not steep. If it is steep, it means you get good with little time investment. :D
What people mean with steep learning curves, is not the skill of the player vs time spent. It's the EXPECTED skill level vs time spent.
Some games, get technical fast, like dark souls fpr instance. Others, do not, like pokemon
-
I rather she gets something different instead of a variation of a thing she already has.
Like, an "alive" version of spirit for instance.
-
Something like that was tried before. Survivors abused the ######### out of it.
And if a killer wanted to camp, he would simply stand outside of that range.

That means you are way more limited which by definition makes controller killers underperform comparing to computer players.
Anyway, that's not the point of the thread
And if a console killer performs the same as a pc killer, by definition they are the better player, because they need to fight those limitations aswell.
You literally dismissed his or her point because they play on console. You brought the subject, now deal with it.

You play in xbox with a controller vs other controller players, have less than 500 hours and still feel right of saying all this nonsense including all of this self boost and disrespect to players that know and played the game much more than you.
You're lucky you're not on steam, I would be surprisse of you doing more than a couple of hooks vs my swf.
You are aware that killer is harder to play on console right? Wouldn't that mean that console killers are better?

Almost never?

Like... 1 every 6-7 games...maybe.

Gen rushing is going into the match with green toolbox and the speed addons. Maybe brand new parts aswell...

-
Shiver me timbers! You aaaarrrrrg correct!

I usually take off my headset and start watching a video on youtube after a match, until the next one is finishing loading, so I usually don't notice when someone messages me.
So about 1 hour later I see I got something on my notifications, "you're bad at the game, stop playing" which got me laughing out loud. I don't even know who the guy was... survivor...killer...π€·ββοΈ
So I just sent him an XD.
That was such a bad take π€£
