Also I should mention that this doesn't really buff this perk, it only eliminates the need of a teammate to heal you back, it takes exactly the same time like it does in it's current state. (If your teammate heals you right back of course)

It was because the perk was in a god state that the perk got nerfed. People legit waved goodbye to BBQ and called it the better perk.
Those types of players should have never said anything... is would have been a hidden gem of a perk
Yea, it was a god perk in the PTB, but they overnerfed it, like they do with almost everything.
-
It's amazing how they managed to get it from the god PTB state to the useless state like it was before.
-
Use OoO since your aura cannot be read by the Killer, so you basically get a free aura reading for 80 seconds.
Or use Breakdown so you know where the Killer is for 6 seconds, also it Destroys the hook for 3 minutes.

Exactly that pretty much
I guess it got fixed, because I got a 32 ping lobby, or I just got lucky...
-
Today I had normal Ping (60-130), but a few minutes ago I'm getting 300 ping lobbies, idk what is going on.
-
Hmmm, Legion is not the greatest Killer in red ranks, but in Red Ranks I'm using Bamboozle, BBQ, Thanatophobia and PGTW / Fire Up. I'm using the Duration addons or the faster recovery addons.
Why those perks?
Bamboozle because Survivors can go through you while vaulting a window and vault it back, this prevents that, also you get a nice vault speed bonus.
BBQ because extra bloodpoints and map awareness.
Thanatophobia because Survivors would be injured most of the match so if they decide to heal it will take much longer and if they don't then Gens will take a bit longer to repair.
PGTW to slow the game down even more.
Or Fire Up because I like vaulting windows EXTRA fast.
-
Hag needs a Cowboy hat.
-
Survivors:
- Jane
- Jeff
- Dwight
- Nea
- Ace
Killers:
- Demogorgon
- Oni
- Pig
- Huntress
- Legion
-
Very good changes, I like those. :)
-
But... You can't fail Skill Check when working on a totem, so why would the Killer check an area where there is no Gens? That would be just a waste of time.
-
@Ivaldi said:
Why not both?
You can use both, this was just a comparison between those two perks.
-
@FogLurker said:
It's been retired. Reverse skill checks are base kit but the +2 seconds to Snap out of It is gone with the add-on and wasn't added to anything else.
But now you can use that amazing tape addon again!!!
-
I like Q&Q, very fun perk, you can easilly confuse the Killer and fast vault everywhere.
-
My favorite meta perk would be Adrenaline, because it rewards you for doing your objective, and it can help against you being slugged or in a chase.
But my favorite perk would be Quick and Quiet, you can really confuse Killers with this perk, it's funny, also it counters I'm All Ears and it's nice to fast vault everywhere without the Killer getting a sound notification.
-
It's sad that I saw more people die from BT than DW... 30 second timer is just a big joke.

That's why it's a test run. They won't know how they are performing, or if they meet their targets, until they can see it in action over thousands of games. It's an entirely new mechanic - it takes time to get right.
I hope they will get it right someday, because the Breakable Walls in the Saloon must be broken in order to make the loop playable for the Killer.

Wouldn't make sense, since trapper has some addons that punish people for disarming his traps. If they used a pebble to disarm it, how would it make sense that they were affected by his addon?
True, completly forgot about those addons, that means no disarming with Pebbles... :,(
-
I never noticed tbh.

I have become too attached to this bird friend, I need him in my life. He provides me with joy when waiting for a lobby.

I know he will go away when the next update comes out, but is he in the new map somewhere? Or is there anyway we can keep him? pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaseee can we keep him BHVR? :D
He is flying around the map, also you can see him eating someone in one of the carts next to the main building in the new map.
I want him to stay too.
-
I'm getting error codes 501 aswell, I'm on PC, not sure what is happening exactly...
-
I don't think they do, maybe only if you save someone with a Flashlight, but not Flashlight blinds.
Head On stuns count tho.
-
Use Spine Chill, it gives bigger chance of a Skill Check triggering when the Killer is looking in your direction.
It helped me to get Skill Checks more often.
-
I really like the idea, it's simple and balanced, one question tho, will it give you another 250 points for searching it again?

I think I like the idea behind the Self-Care change, even if the numbers needed adjusting. Saboteur would be too strong if multiple survivors ran it. I don't think the Exhaustion mechanic needs to change. It sounds like it would exist to punish survivors who are good at running. I don't like that, and I don't even use Exhaustion perks 80% of the time as a survivor.
Why did you necro this post? It's from 2018...
-
Zarina was the last Survivor I purchased with Shards.
-
It's a visual bug, restart your game and it should be fixed.
-
I like the Key suggestion, not the Gen one, but the part when the person that holds the Key would be the only one that would be able to use the Hatch, so if everybody wanted to escape via Hatch, everybody would need to have a Key.

And yet your dedicating two whole perks for the build... Instead of running more lethal or synergystic things? The problem with deathslinger and m/a is that his chase music distance and his terror radius are very close so it appears to become instant. Like with hag with m/a whom people don't have a problem with ironically enough
I guess that the problem with his TR is also that it appears non directional or it's just hard to tell where exactly he is, the same thing goes with Doctor's TR.

You're giving up two perk slots to have stealth, I think that's mostly fine, especially considering the one killer it woul be a problem on, Huntress, can never really be stealth.
People have Problem with Deathslingers Terror Radius now, just imagine him or the Hag with 8 meter Terror Radius, Michael with 0 meter TR.
I don't think that's a good idea.
-
Insidious, that's a big no, with M&A every Killer could be stealth Killer with this.
I like current Fire Up, just increase it to 5 or 6% and that would be great.
Current Noed is fine tbh.
-
Since you cannot be healed, it wouldn't heal you, simple.
-
I had a fully charged blink, injured baby Survivor was running in a straight line, no obstacles in sight, I thought that would be an easy kill...
*Proceeds to blink 0.1 meters.
I love this game...

you are a complete idiot if you choose hitscan.
lmao, why so rude?
-
The biggest Mind Game is when Survivors / Killers don't Mind Game, they're just playing like rank 20s and you're not expecting it so you Mind Game yourself.
-
I don't have a fitting name for the Bird right now, but I don't agree with Peanits that his name is Birdy McBirdface... That's just silly.
-
She wasn't nerfed, hitboxes were fixed.

@Alice_pbg said:
OoO has a downside.
It's massively outweigthed by it's good part... but...it exists.
Gotta be injured to use resilience.
Gotta get hurt, a lot, to activate mettle of man.
For the people and deliverance make you broken.
Perks have downsides
I know that perks do have downsides, I was asking for a perk that does have a permanent downside, like No Mither or in my example permanent hindered penalty.

Hex Perks.
Maybe I should have said that I meant perks for Survivors, my bad.
-
@Dwight_Confusion said:
They do. Hex Perks. And the downside is that it doesn't exist after 14 seconds of 1 of 4 survivors being on it.
Yeah...
Yea, like every Hex Perk other than NOED, Devour Hope and Haunted Grounds is garbage.
-
You mean the one next to the piano? Yea, there is a breakable wall right next to it.

A range killer with limited range is fine for a 110% killer? I don't think so.
I think if they are gonna increase his movement speed, then they will need to increase his terror radius due to a consistency I guess, and I think having bigger terror radius would hinder him a lot, if they increase his movement speed I think 24 meter terror radius should stay.
Or just buff his harpoon gun a lot to be worthy of 110% movement speed.
-
@PigMainClaudette said:
If Deathslinger was 115 movement, then his terror radius would be increased to 32 to compensate. This would be WORSE for him, since his chain would have way less effective range.
100% agree, I think they should buff his harpoon gun instead of just increasing his movement speed... Because imo his gun is very unforgiving if you miss, without addons of course...

Because like a lot of other perks that have cool downs, you don't need to use completely in order for the cool-down to take affect. Like sprint burst: If you accidentally run (even for a split second), it will become active and then have a cool down. You just have to play it smart, and only use it when you know you'll be able to continue using it start-to-finish.
But Sprint Burst gives you that speed boost, even if you just tap it, this perk just activates it's cooldown even tho it didn't do anything...
-
I really like facing Oni and Demo, they are just so fun to verse and play as, also I like their chase music. :)

Oh I'm thinking of undetectable (I'm dumb af dont worry).
I still do think it does enough, mainly due to the removal of the red stain, and certain perks (such as Nemesis) can use it to great advantage as if they break a pallet, they'll usually be outside of the chase after, allowing for a surprise.
Oblivious doesn't remove the red stain tho. If you were talking about Oblivious...
-
I like your change.
-
The wiggling is there to prevent the Killer from carrying you all the way to the basement from across the whole map, it isn't meant to be free escape for Survivors.
-
Mmr? That is coming with the chapter? I didn't know... That's nice. :)
