Yea, they changed it along with their power description.
It was weird that both Stab Wounds Study and Frank's Mix Tape reduced the Deep Wound timer moderately, but in reality Frank's Mix Tape does more damage than Stab Wounds Study. (But both are still crap)

Congrats! It's really sad that there aren't any Devotion rewards. :(

Believe it or not, I want a really unique killer kinda like nurse or at least a 4.4.
Also why do you think the new killer is female?
Just because you can hear a female growls in the teaser, but that actually could be anything, I actually hope it's a female Killer, we didn't have one in a while. :)

Easy way to counter legion.
-Don’t waste time healing
-Do gens instead.
-5 min ez gen rush
Doing gens is good against any Killer tho.
Legion specific counters are:
- Don't heal all the time, only when you need to.
- Split up, Legion's power is now useless.
It's really easy to counter Legion, you just need to know what to do.
Also I would say that the biggest counter to Legion are good teammates that know what to do.
-
These ideas sound fun! But I have a few questions, caps at 4 means 4 m/s or 4%?
Also Julie's Mix Tape doesn't make much sense, because Oblivious Survivors cannot be revealed by Killer Instinct, since they are technically not in your terror radius.
-
-
Depends, if he's really close, I always try to reveal him, when he's far it's 50/50, can he hide? if yes than run away, if he can't just reveal him.
-
Went against Paulie Esther with his friends when the Billy and Leather Face changes were on the PTB, and Tru3 when Demo came out, also against Tithi when I played the Pig, but I think that's it.
-
I don't have friends to play with, so solo mostly, sometimes 1 random guy that facecamped me as Myers comes to play some Survivor with me, but that's it.
-
I really like this perk, but it could use a small buff, like slightly larger range, better tier1&2 values and slightly shorter cooldown.
-
I got accused for wall hacking when playing as Legion because I found a Blendie hiding in the locker while Killer Instinct was active.
Also people don't realize if they want to counter bbq they need to hide in the locker before I hook a Survivor, not after, because I can see you going inside the locker...
-
No, it doesn't work with his lethal rush, Demogorgon's Shred doesn't work too, it only affects kicking.
But I would say it's still very good on Blight.

It's 25% I think.
You're right!
33% was before the sabo changes.
25% is now after the sabo changes.
-
Demogorgon, he just needs QoL changes to his stealth and Portals, also a full add-on rework.
Blight is very balanced aswell, his add-ons are actually good and he's fun to play as and against.

Devotion 13
Level 83
It's kinda sad that Devotion doesn't do anything...
-
Level 43, it's painful.
-
I only use the crow friend charm on Killer and Survivor.
-
I want perks to be actually useful, and remove perk tiers.

Oh man you almost got me! Tomorrow, make a suggestion that moris shouldnt require hooks to be used, which seems equally broken :D
Haha, jokes on you! It actually worked like this in the past.
-
I had an idea about MoM a while back.
Getting 2 protection hits activates MoM.
While active, you can heal youself without a med-kit at 200% of the normal healing speed.
When fully healed MoM deactivates.

You can see the spirit while phasing while outside of her husks terror radius. It wouldn't be all the time, but every few seconds you would see her phase into reality. This allows spirit to keep what makes her unique, while giving survivors more information that they can use in chase.
"Outside of the Terror Radius" and "used in a chase" don't make much sense tbh, since you can hear the whoosh sound while outside of her terror radius, and since the chases would mostly be inside of her terror radius this change doesn't really change anything.

Those without them are only 2, and they still have "flappy" parts for the same reason

Yes, but they don't clip through walls and don't spread in all directions.

Ok so... I'm not entirely sure how I feel about your rework as a whole. I do however know you made one incredibly large and fatal mistake.
You have made it so Legion can down a Survivor by Frenzy stabbing them only twice after they're in deep wound with only 1 instance of cool down and recharge.
I'm guessing that means that you don't know why Old Legion got a rework in the first place. Here's the thing about Frenzy. It doubles the speed difference between you and Survivors, it allows you to vault windows and pallets, and it gives you a hit cooldown of practically 0 while not making Legion any more difficult to drive unlike some other killers (*waves at Blight and Billy*). This means that the Survivor you go after is pretty much going to get stabbed and they can't do much about it. For Current Legion, this is fine because it is practically impossible to down someone using Frenzy. Doing so with the current Franks Mix Tape, Stab Wounds Study, and 30s mend timer would take... I think 4-5 stabs with each one inflicting 4s cd and a 20s recharge, if you go for that you'll get like 1, maybe 2 downs that way before you've lost every generator. So... current Legion doesn't down with multi stabbing and deep wounds. They do normal M1 chases for their downs. Old Legion didn't work that way. Old Legion had a load out where they could Frenzy stab a survivor over and over and they'd go down. It wasn't a super fast down, but it was faster than what current Legion could do and was nearly impossible to stop.
You've brought that back. Essentially your changes to Deep Wound will give Legion a nearly uncounterable down every ~26s.
It'll play out something like this. Legion pops Frenzy and begins chase. Survivor gets stabbed after ~4 seconds, they're now injured and deep wounded. Legion keeps chasing and stabs them again after another ~4 seconds and they have 5 seconds of deep wound left. Legion goes into cool down and loses their power. Now this Legion is running both rulers so Frenzy comes back in 14s, in the mean time the Legion is continuing to follow the Survivor. Pop Frenzy again, and land another stab after ~4 seconds. Add all that up and you have a Survivor getting run down by a 134%, can vault stuff killer and dying with little recourse in 26 seconds. If you thought the outrage over PH or Slinger was loud... well... this would eclipse that.
I changed Frank's Mix Tape and SWS, also it's impossible to reduce the Deep Wound timer by stabbing a Survivor with this rework, the only thing I did is when you stab an injured Survivor with Feral Frenzy their timer starts at 10 seconds instead of 15 seconds.

The ptb will probably be this tuesday, add two or three weeks to it.

Believe me, I know. I’ve tried twice and failed both times. I genuinely think if BHVR plans on reworking Legion, they should either use repeated experiments via PTBs or completely change their power.
People seem to like the idea of “locker teleport.”
I'm not really a big fan of the locker teleport thing. I think we already have too many Killers that can teleport, having another one would be a bit disappointing.
-
@Tactless_Ninja said:
Wasn't it always 4 seconds? They made the cooldown faster and that's it.
In the PTB it was 3 seconds and I think tiers I&II had even longer cooldown, but I'm not sure.
EDIT: I was right about the cooldown.
-
Don't worry, it will only take 2 more years for the devs to replace this awful mechanic with the skill checks from Pyramid Head's cages.
-
It sounds like a fun idea, but then we need to go back in to the depressing reality and tell ourselves, the framerate would drop so much that the game would become unplayable, again...
-
There is no reason, they gave it the Legion treatment.
I hope it gets reverted back to 3 seconds.
-
The thing is, the animation reset was the actuall bug, and they finally fixed it.

TL;DR: No, Abusable (you know it would be don't try to say it wouldn't) and creates unnecessary extra work.
"it might get abused, but I think this is better than not having one."
If I get destroyed by a good Nurse/Spirit/Etc. I can simply give them a -Rep because why not.
Survivors clearly a SWF? -Rep.
Killer had the audacity to literally down me within the first minute of the trial and not allow me to loop and stun them? -Rep.
Survivors ran a SINGLE Meta perk? -Rep.
You get the idea.
Then after someone builds up an excessive negative Reputation number for inappropriate reasons what do you think is going to happen? (If for some reason a majority of players don't have a negative Reputation after enough time that is...)
Probably gonna have people dodging them constantly even though they legitimately did nothing wrong. Saw the Killer with -500 Rep? probably plays Insidious Bubba with Ebony every match. See a single Survivor with -1,000 Rep? Probably a sandbagger who runs No Mither 24/7.
Then someone at BHVR would have to check if someone with a big enough negative Reputation even deserves it (and how can you say if that's justified or not if something is a legitimate and allowed tactic?) after complaints from said player about them being unable to get a proper match because of an unfairly given Reputation.
Wait, u used your power? -Rep.

@Trwth said:
I actually really like these changes! However, I still have one huge concern: beating Legion in chase.
There's two parts to this issue:
- Legion can still deny any effort to thwart him in a chase. He can just pop Frenzy whenever he wants and there's practically nothing the Survivor can do about it except to take the hit or try to spin them out. If you take the hit, the Legion will just run away while you mend, ending the chase. If you make them miss, twenty seconds later they'll just hit you anyway. There's no chasing interaction and the fear of getting hit is just absent.
- Legion has no chasing ability against injured Survivors. All they have is their wits and basic attacks. Against good Survivors (who typically run Dead Hard or the vault speed built), catching them can be a nightmare. The Legion may just resort to keeping everyone injured and both sides hit a stalemate where neither contender wills to commit to their objectives.
It's the Legion's almighty paradox. Something that needs to be addressed. However, as of writing this reply, I realize that these are just QoL changes. But if you ever come up with a fully-fleshed rework, this is something to consider.
When changing Feral Frenzy you need to be very careful, it can become uncounterable and oppressive or not useful at all.
You would probably need to rework Legion, in order to make them balanced.

Pretty good, but I do have a slight change that I think would be fun for a fuming mixtape rework
Considerably decreases the deep would timer for each survivor chained with feral frenzy (33% for survivor chained 4th UNIQUE survivor hit will go down)
If you down a survivor this way drain the powerbar and end frenzy
That could be good, since getting 4 chained hits is very hard if Survivors have a brain.
-
I think No Mither is pretty useless, you forced the Killer to pick you up, but what's the point if you made the chase 2x easier for the Killer to begin with?
-
I downed a Survivor using Frank's Mix Tape, lost 4 gens, but it was worth it.

Talking about Fuming Mix Tape. We could cap it, that you can't get lower than 2 seconds of fatigue.
Frank's Mixtape would allow you to run around the map with Frenzy, and when you miss you can start your Frenzy almost right after the fatiuge. You run around the map with Frenzy to cover the distance. then you see a survivor. You can't catch up to him. Right after your power is able to be started and you get the hit.
Sounds fun, not sure how balance it would be, we would need to see in game.
That's actually a really good add-on idea when I think about it!
-
I haven't noticed this, maybe it's just your connection? Weird things happen with poor connection.
The only thing I noticed is that the 4 year old phantom saw bug is now much more common.

Ur implying that it’s only killers who ever get hurt from this stuff tho. All I’m saying is devs do things fro balance and there’s no fsvouring one side.
When did I said or implied anything about Killers being the only ones to get hurt?
Sorry to talk about the most recent map bug, but if you really want to I could mention the basement bug aswell.

And they fixed that bug u realise? People need to stop assuming that the devs are survivor biased because they are clearly not.
Why are you bringing the us vs them crap?
I didn't even mention Killer vs Survivor, people need to realize that talking about bugs that make one side more powerful doesn't mean that they are complaining about that side.
I just said how in one patch they can break the whole map, so I wouldn't be surprised that with the graphical update the map could be unplayable.

It´s impossible to make Ormond any worse by accident dude. In order to do so, they would have to approach it with this exact intent. No way they will make it any more Survivor sided.
They made haddonfield an infinite fence land by accident, so I wouldn't be surprised if the map suddenly got 2x bigger or some other weird bug happened.

@Szarman said:
Hey! The changes are really good! But there are some things, that could be changed for better in my opinion :)
STUNNING:
- Stunning the Legion while not in Feral Frenzy depletes half of the power gauge.
I think that would make it more healthy.
Addons
Stab Wounds Study:
I think, that making mending survivors oblivious wouldn't be that great. But what do you think about:
- Deep Wounded Survivor's are Oblivious until mended
OR
- The Legion gains Undetectable Status Effect while in Feral Frenzy
- Increases Killer Instinct Detection range by 32 meters.
Frank's Mixtape
I would like to see addon like this:
- Allows The Legion to activate Feral Frenzy, when the power gauge is charged above 25%
It would help, when you miss an attack and when you want to run around the map with Feral Frenzy.
Stolen Sketch Book.
I don't think that it needs a nerf especially when you are increasing it's rarity. I would change it back to 2.5 seconds.
Fuming Mixtape:
I think that the current effect isn't good on The Legion since he can be in his power only for 10 seconds, and than wait pretty big amount of time waiting for it to build up.
My idea is:
- For each hit in single Feral Frenzy your fatigue decreases by 0.25 seconds
I think, that the rest of the changes are pretty good!
Thank you for the feedback!
Removing half of the power gauge sounds like a better idea, thanks!
With Stab Wounds Study I wanted to go along with the name of the add-on, the pain you inflict is so intense it causes Survivors to be oblivious to their surroundings, maybe the first idea would be better and more useful! But I like your other idea aswell, but I would say that it doesn't fit that well with the Stab Wounds Study theme.
I wanted Frank's Mix Tape to allow you to miss, thus helping console players a lot, also I wanted to go with the theme of the description.
I don't see a point in giving you the ability to activate your power at 25%, since you cannot do anything to deep wounded Survivors, why would you want your power that fast?
About Stolen Sketch Book, since I made Legion slightly faster, you still get almost the same amount of distance, even with this nerf, it's around ~65 meters if my math isn't that bad.
I like the Fuming Mix Tape idea, but not sure if it would be balanced, does it have a cap?
-
4.4 m/s at all time?
I agree Freddy needs some changes, but making a basic m1 Killer into a 4.4 m/s Killer is a bit too much.

@FFirebrandd said:
Assuming that's accurate... that means it is impossible to make it so Legion travels further via using frenzy than just walking.
Well, you get from point A to point B slightly faster, but you get more distance in that time by just walking, so that's kinda sad. :(
-
Thank you, when did the wiki add this information? It wasn't there a few weeks ago.

do you have any commentary from the devs? because im pretty sure iron will is like that from release
Not from the Devs, I heared it from some streamers, also It's written in it's description:
- You're able to concentrate and enter a meditative-like state to numb some pain.
- Grunts of Pain caused by injuries are reduced by 50/75/100%.
It doesn't state that it makes you a zombie while injured, so you should be breathing.
