It really depends on what Killer you play, for example on a m1 Killer bamboozle is really good, but for Nurse not so much.
I would say STBFL for most m1 Killers is the best, it let's you cover much more distance really fast and is good for snowballing.

Legion is already pretty OP and the benefit survivors have against him is his stun he gets from missing. Lowering that would be devastating. Increasing his speed shouldn't be an issue but he should be faster than other killers. Not sure why clown is so fast lol.
Legion OP? They are a basic m1 Killer after they injure you with Feral Frenzy, the huge stun gives Survivors so much time to run away that they could probably do a coffee while he's stunned.
What do you mean Clown is so fast? He's the same speed as any other Killer, of course if you don't count when he throws his bottles at you and slows you down.

I not really the biggest fan of the idea, what if the Trapper carries a helpless Dweet into the basement, then traps all exits, you cannot save the poor Dweet if you don't find a toolbox or run Saboteur, and like you mentioned, Exit Gates are a problem aswell.

More like... annoying matches.
Unless it works almost like a firecracker. Then it's okay i guess.
Imagine carrying a Survivor and some Blendette comes out of a bush and smacks you, saving her teammate in the process.
-
Doesn't sound like a bad idea, probably some add-ons would need to be changed tho.

We all know legion is quite weak, and I say that as a legion main. They need some minor buffs to addons/ feral frenzy.
Feral frenzy buffs:
missing no longer drains the power full or ends feral frenzy
scratch marks and blood are visible in feral frenzy
shorter fatigue OR buff the addons that reduce it
Addons:
detection range addons (except iridescent button) are changed to increase the speed of feral frenzy
The blades make mending have skillchecks, size of the skillcheck gets smaller and more frequent based on the rarity
brown smiley button makes feral frenzy attacks count as basic attacks but removes the deep wound
Iridescent button also makes hitting a breakable wall in feral frenzy break
stab wound study reduces deep wound timer by half (50 seconds)
Nice changes!
One question, with Stab Wounds Study, what do you mean? Deep Wound timer lasts 30 seconds, so reducing it by half should be 15 seconds, not 50 seconds, am I right? Also even if it was 15 seconds, it still wouldn't do anything. :(

Yes please!

IN the past the people They were saying MoM it's a meta perk soo
Yea, in the past, but it got nerfed and now it's just a meme perk.
Before you took 3 basic attacks and the next hit was ignored, which basically screwed every m1 Killer in the game, but was completely useless against Killers that use their secondary attack more.
Now you need to take 3 protection hits, which is much harder to accomplish, and most of the time it's not really worth it.

Salty? you dont acknowledge what I say, even tho you question what i mean. So im probably just wasting my time here, but...
There are two Bleed Out Timers in the game. https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Health_States#Deep_wound
- One when you are in the dying state, Crawling on the ground, until you get healed. (This is the original Bleed Out Timer)
- Current Deep Wound in an injured state which puts you in dying state if you dont mend in time. (This is what I call a Health state timer)
A health state timer is a timer that changes the health state when a certain timer passes.
Original Legion's deep wound put people in injured state and put a health state timer on them, which went down people when people run.
Current Legion and current Deep wound puts people in injured state, and puts a health state timer on them, which they have to mend or they will be put into the dying state.
IMPORTANT!
Notice how current Deep wound is not really about Bleeding Out, it just puts you in the dying state, which then also bleeds you out.
Bleeding out twice? The madness of this game.
Now you can probably guess Im talking about the Original Bleed Out Timer and not Deep Wound, if not I have wasted my time.
So, if I got it right, you mean that with Deep Wounds on a Survivor, their Bleed-out timer while in the Dying State goes down? So let's say if the Survivor has the Deep Wounds for 4 minutes, they would just instantly die if they go into the Dying State?
It's really confusing, both timers in game are called bleed out timers, and when talking about the Bleed out timer I think about the Deep Wounds timer, but in your case you mean the Bleeding out timer while in the Dying State when talking about the Bleed out timer, tell me please if I'm right.

Im saying the effects I suggested changed for Deep Wound is not the same change as Deep Wound when there was Old Legion.
Do you understand the difference between Health State Timer and Bleed Out Timer? or do you need more help?
Why so salty, you said that the bleed out timer ticks down while running, Deep Wounds and the Bleed out timer is the same thing.
Also what is health state timer?
-
@Emeal said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1755732#Comment_1755732
No, the timer that went down then was not the Bleed out timer. What went down with Old Legion was the another health state.
What do you mean? Legion always applied Deep Wounds, before it went down while not in a chase, so you could cheese it to secure a down, no matter what the Survivor did.
-
Congrats!
I'm around one and a half years here, not sure if that is a good or bad thing tho.
-
Iron Will.
Also Mettle of Man is meta perk now?!

@Emeal said:
Deep wound is one of the most boring mechanics in the game, Oh great the Killer just applied a layer of extra healing.
My suggestion would be,If you have Deep Wound, Running around drains the Survivors Bleed Out Timer.
Then Deep Wound would actually mean something.
But, that's the reason Legion was so hated back then, if the timer would go down while running, it would be impossible for the Survivors to do anything.

I forget where I read it, but the devs said they are wanting to reduce the DW timer from 30 seconds to 10, and the only thing stopping them is Doctor, because if the rare circumstance occurs wherein he manages to inflict DW on a survivor and bring them to madness 3, they have to spend 12 seconds to "Snap out of it" before they can mend, and with only 10 seconds on the DW timer, that would be a guaranteed down. Like I said however, that is an extremely rare set of circumstances, because there is nothing in the Docs base kit/add-on's and no perk the in the killers current perk base that inflicts DW. The only time it can happen is if the survivors bring in BT, Soul Guard, MoM, or "Bottled Time" and manage to activate the DW effect. At which point, all that would mean is that Doc is the only killer with a unique advantage in those situations, and honestly, I don't see that as being a big enough problem that they have reservations about going ahead with the timer change to DW.
Plague's base kit gives her an unique advantage against Healing builds and items, Pyramid Head has it for Hook activated perks like DS, hell, even Pig can stall the game better than old Ruin did which gives her the advantage against gen rush, so why not let Doc have that extremely niche advantage against the DW status perks and items brought in by survivors?
Truth be told, I'm not even sure reducing the timer to 10 seconds is going to do anything meaningful, because the only moments the timer is ever allowed to tick down is when a survivor is in a chase and either vaults, pallet drops, or slows down. If it was reduced to 10 seconds, and they lost 1 second on the timer for each pallet drop and vault, that means they would get 10 of those actions before DW downs them, which any killer will tell you is one HELL of a long chase. Still, that's better than the 30 of those actions they currently get, but if a killer has to chase them for 10 of those actions while relying on DW to down the survivor... then that's just a bad killer IMO.
They could just make Deep Wounds pause while Snapping Out Of It, boom, problem solved.
-
If you don't play a specific build around basement or you don't have a key they are basically useless, the map one is interesting, but I never use it, just another few things that make bloodwebs worse.
-
They tried to introduce something new, the Breakable walls, which is already a failure, they just take precious time away from the Killer and makes infinites... I wish they would go away, but I guess we're stuck with this awful mechanic...
I heared that they will do something like End Game Collapse, but for the begining of the game, so that's something to look for!
-
He's already perfect, I think he doesn't need any changes, other than POV increase, but that's confirmed to be changed.
-
So, is this his only ability now? Or is he still stealthy?
Also I don't see this being useful, because you can already tell or guess what perks the Survivor uses through out the match just by watching them.

How could it not be possible?

Yes please! I always wanted this!

Just remove perk tiers, they are one of the main problems in this game, it makes BHVR do stupid decisions with perk design.

like 1 is a low number so do i see it like that and high ranks are like 20
Yea, but in this game you start at rank 20, and then by playing frequently get to rank 1, so you rank up. (It's kinda like grades in school, I really don't know how to explain it)
I would say that most people call brown and yellow ranks "low ranks" and purple and red "high ranks".

Survivors in low ranks? If they are not smurfing, baby Survivors are the cutest thing in DBD.

Had a match like that, as a Legion. I hit a Laurie with my power and put her in Deep Wounds. She bled out from Deep Wounds every. Single. Time. She was rank 20. By the time all her teammates died, she finally learned how to mend herself. I was so proud of her :)
She must have been so scared, is the Killer hacking?! Why am I dying randomly!
Did you let her go?

Victor being a killer, doesn’t have a red stain. He definitely should have one like every other killer does. The maps aren’t done very well including the mist, at times it is hard to keep looking back and trying to get out of his sights all while losing track of him in the corn field and everywhere else with tall grass and stuff.
I don't think he needs one, since you can hear him from really far away that he's coming, also he can't instantly m1 you, because he can't, he needs to charge up his pounce, which gives you enough time to react.

I have some
Midwich is an enjoyable map
Ghostface is the most annoying killer
Hawkins is my favorite map
Dead Hard doesn't take skill and is cheap
I don't think Legion needs a full rework
Thoughts?
Midwich from how it looks is great, but from the gameplay it is one of the worst maps in the game imo.
Ghostface is ok, he needs some changes tho, like making the reveal more consistent for both sides, and reducing his cooldown, personally I would also change the 99 strategy.
I don't like Hawkins.
Dead Hard is cheap, I agree.
Legion needs some small buffs and QoL changes, like complete add-on rework and reducing the fatigue to 3 seconds.

Hey, for what it's worth, I didn't know lunges existed for like a couple hundred hours.
When I started playing Killer I didn't know what Scratch Marks are...

Lately I'm getting worse Survivors than usual, since the rank reset, even with rank 1 Killer I'm getting rank 10 Survivors, it's weird.
-
Depends, the most useful things against him are windows and tight corners, playing save is also good, so dropping pallets early isn't a bad thing.
You can still loop him, so if he's not breathing on your back you can probably do a few loops before dropping pallets.
Edit: One more thing you can try, it's kinda hard to pull off, but you can try stunning him mid-chainsaw sprint, it depends on your and the Killer's connection tho, there are 3 outcomes, you don't stun him and he breaks the pallet, you stun him but he also kills you through the pallet or you successfully stun him and end his chainsaw sprint.
-
Brutal Strength
Have easier time to catch up after breaking a pallet, with Blight this little time saver can be game changing.
Fire Up
For the same reason as Brutal Strength, catch up faster after vaulting a window or breaking a pallet.

Agree but luckily cooldwon lasts shortly and I mean for new players it's definitely amazing perks knowing every pallet and window during chase that's how you learn map design
You're right, it's amazing for new players, the problem is that it's locked behind a DLC or enormous grind.

Yeah I don't understand the cool down either, but maxed out it's a cool down of only 20 seconds or something like that. But I guess to play devil's advocate, I could see how incredibly difficult it could be trying to chase down a survivor that knows where every palette and window is at all times too.
I would say that it wouldn't be all that different without a cooldown, people already know where windows are, it's only useful for knowing if you're in a dead zone or not, or with Any Means Necessary.

This has to be best perk for new players to learn map design and loops so if ur new here hope this helps u
Would be even better if it didn't have that pointless cooldown and was in general perks pool, so new players could actually use it...

What happened to NOED?
-
Of course I would use it more! I always wanted this change to happen! Maybe around 10 - 15% increased pick-up speed?
Remove the Terror Radius increase, I really don't know why that is a thing.

I would need to see actions, not just words.

Why would they be bugged?
Because somehow they released a bugfix patch and it broke haddonfield, so changing characters could result in maybe game breaking lag and crashes, you never know with BHVR.
-
So the Killer joins to lobbies without items, what's stopping me from equipping an item when the Killer joins in?
Also why would anybody want to play against any items, this would be abused so people have easier games, the downside is longer queues, and who wants longer queues?

I was so excited for graphic update but now im disappointed by no new maps.
I think instead of reworking two realms in a patch they should rework one and make a new one.
I know this is off-topic, but if they reworked all the perks without adding new ones like they do with the maps now that would be amazing.
-
I like going against and playing as the Oni, he is really strong and does have lots of counterplay.
The counter with the biggest success rate probably is just hiding behind objects where he can't flick, also LoS blockers are very good against him, windows counter him slightly too, spinning could confuse them and miss you.

Maybe I just overreacted, saying something is meta and then just saying something funny is kinda confusing, when talking about Survivor meta it's usually about Survivor perks.
-
It's funny, but why that bait title?
-
Not the biggest fan of the Pig, how well she performs in a match depends on the rng of her traps, which I hate.
Her add-ons are also pretty bad, she does have the worst stealth power in the game, in my opinion, and her ambush isn't that good either.
She needs some buffs, making her more consistent would also be really good.
