It's not just the Ada cosmetic, Ada herself is entirely bugged and sounds like she's running with the microphone strapped to her feet.
This is good news. Then I can only hope that this bug will be fixed quickly by BHVR.
-
I will not pretend like that it is not a pity, but I am also pretty sure that this Bamboozle bonus to vault speed for power abilities was not intended in the first place. They probably just fixed a bug after many years.

I voted for the other group. The Kate, Meg, and Trickster all looked better in that group plus there was Billy, Adam, and Yun Jin in that group. Wasn't a fan of any of the cosmetics in the group that won.
Fortunately, the Yun-Jin skin still managed to make it into the game.

So we all agree OG HADDONFIELD holds the title of the worst map of all time?
I'm not sure about that. Old Ormond is really a close contender. Also, Prime Cowshed is probably the worst thing ever. And it still is in the game.

This might be an old thread but I really don't see were these people fit the characters. It's like people claiming I look like Ace when in fact I'm not even close. Even young Bruce Willis has a fair share of differences. Adam and Will Smith? And Jeff is Hagrid from Harry Potter, eh? This gave me a good laugh to be fair, so I couldn't restist to post. Maybe I looked at the wrong photos tho.
The most confusing thing for me at the moment is how you got to this question in the first place. A random flip through 5000 pages seems quite unlikely to me.
-
I honestly love them. I know people think he's weak, but he's definitely not. Clever guard placements can deny the shift w counterplay on many occasions. In addition, he can guard gens pretty well. The only thing that might be a problem in the future is his absurd strength in 3-gen situations with the gen kick meta. But that's more a problem of the meta itself than the Knight.
-
That doesn't mean much since MMR is a joke (thankfully), but right now I am doing really well with him. He looks pretty strong imo, but as someone who despises the gen kick meta, it worries me a little that he can execute that strategy way too well.
-
I'm very happy with the Wesker decision, but there are so many other characters I'd love to have here. The last thing that would bother me is a 3rd RE chapter.
-
That change isn't nearly as bad as some killers expect it to be. First of all, we still don't know what the changed timing will actually look like. The devs mentioned a 0.25 second buffer after the animation to make it easier especially for "newer" players. But in the PTB you could blind the killer 0.01 seconds after the start of the pick up animation and still get the save in the end. But even if it is supposed to work that way: More flashlights also means potentially less survivors on gens. That's a possibility I'm very happy to accept.
-
They are trying to blind you mid chase. Bots are funny as hell.
-
The map is too red. Other than that everything is fine.
-
I tried many times. Didn't work once. DH worked every single time.
-
I don't even remember the two options we had, but I knew right away that she had no chance from the beginning because the other option choices were literally fan favorites. Yun-Jin deserves better.

Yes, and it also need oppression's cooldown
And should it only work once per gen as well?

As well as the survivor uploading videos like ''How to counter Wesker'' I ask the pro killer mains of you: how to counter God-Looper with Wesker. I really only have the problem with Weskers antiloop. With Spirit e.g. I rarely have problems with looping. But then I see killers on YouTube who destroy loopers with Wesker. But in what feels like every lap, my Wesker is useless. Do you have any advice for me?
His anti loop is not good. You let the survivors throw a pallet and then use your power to zone them. Wesker is only good because of the infection (works as a slowdown) combined with his zoning ability between strong tiles. I still love him, but he's also map dependent.

They're gone according to the forums here

They removed locker saves?

Except it has been done. A player called Knightlight did it and streamed the entire thing. He 4K'd every game with zero tunneling, camping, or slugging. The only exception being 2Ks on huntress and sadako. Anyone saying "but he's a comp player!" is admitting they just aren't good enough at the game. It is very much doable if you are good enough. "I can't win without camping/tunneling" is copium for people who are bad at the game but have too much ego to admit it.
I just checked his stats. He has played 28 killer games. He has 4k'd in 22 (~79%) of them. And in only 3 of those games he actually got 12 hooks. I don't know what to do with those stats. Way too messy. When I say you usually can't go for 12 hooks if you play super nice, I also mean against people who really want to play the game. Not people who kill themselves on the hook or dc.
Personally, I didn't even say it was impossible in the first place. I'm comparing the average killer to the average survivor. The thread creator himself included only the good survivors when he said that you can't get 12 hooks against those types of players. And both statements are correct imo.
-
This game is not designed that way. You simply can't get 12 hooks without tunneling, camping, and/or slugging. The devs don't want you to get 12 hooks anyway. Their goal is an average of 2 kills per game. You say that you can't get 12 hooks against good survivors, but I would say that you usually can't get 12 hooks even against average survivors.

Ever since they nerfed him I see very little use of him, everything he does is too slow to actually be efficient.
He's just bad and not fun
He's not bad, but he feels clunky and terrible to control. That takes away most of the fun for me. He felt so smooth before they nerfed him multiple times.

-Gives you wallhacks in a local area, which is obviously really good.
-33% of a gen is easy to get (buff Blast Mine please..)
-Killers don't expect it because there's no indication you have it outside of a hunch. Also, I feel like your average sweaty Survivor won't be running Wiretap.
-It's a win-win situation. Either they kick the gen and lose distance on you, or you get wallhacks nearby.
-Highlights a gen for the team, which can be clutch on maps like RPD, Midwich, etc.
-If the yellow aura disappears, your team knows the Killer is there, even if they are Undetectable.
There are downsides, like being worthless at endgame, and losing some value against stealth Killers. But overall, it's my favorite perk from the Wesker DLC.
What are your thoughts on Wiretap?
I've been using it since release now and honestly it's more like a dead perk most of the time thanks to the gen kick meta. However, if it works it is super fun, so it won't leave my build anytime soon.
-
Since the devs have already mentioned that they don't necessarily want every killer to be strong, I think the roster is pretty solid. You could tweak little things here and there, but all in all, we're on a good course, considering the goal they're pursuing. If you ask for personal opinions, of course it always depends on the point of view from which you look at things.
When I play swf -> Almost every killer is too weak
When I play solo -> Almost every killer is too strong, but that is only because of the ridiculously bad teammates
When I play killer -> Maps are usually the indicator of how much fun I will have.
-
I've always wanted to see Kindred as part of the core game. That ability alone would incredibly narrow the gap between solo q and swf. But I also understand why they haven't done it yet.
-
One of the following I guess:
Blight: Compound 33, Iridescent Blight Tag, Alchemist's Ring
Spirit: Mother-Daughter Ring, Dried Cherry Blossom
Myers: Tombstone Piece
Plague: Black Incense

Shelter Woods

I wish I would see him more often. I only see him about once in 6-7 games. And it will be even less since he is not that new anymore.
Edit: I dunno why I said 6-7 games. It is probably even less.

I'm trying but he says no until the weekend which I'm fine with, I'm like motel 6 baby as long as I'm not at work, the light is always on for claims like this to be debunked.
Have fun, I guess. I thought he was joking the whole time, but it seems like he is serious with all these posts. Maybe he is stuck somewhere in the MMR area for beginners. Otherwise, a 99% win rate is impossible. From the way he sees things, I honestly expect a awful killer, but I could be wrong.

Only the personal experience of playing the game 10 hours per day, 5 times per week. I take the other 2 days to theorycraft my killer builds and playstyle.
First I wanted to say that 5 days a week is not enough for your opinion to have any value. However, you apparently also deal with DbD on your "free" days, so I'll let that pass for now.
But one thing still irritates me. Why only 10 hours a day? If you have unnecessary baggage, like friends or family, then please get rid of them. Or at least organize your time together on the computer. Kyf or swf should do. Also you should reduce your sleep to a minimum. Sometimes lobby times are rough. You can use them to generate some sleep. As far as your job is concerned, which you need so you can buy skins and chapters, you should try streaming first so you can play dbd even during work time.
Tips from a pro. Even for free.

Aren't you the prodigy god gamer who never loses as a killer? No wonder you think Wesker is overpowered. To you, every killer must be mad powerful. But you should also think about those of us who aren't that talented. For us, Wesker is great, but not even close to being overpowered.
-
I had a Sheva yesterday that was moving at least 110% the whole game. I could barely catch up with her. At least she didn't really deny it at the end.
-
It's kind of sad that their first killer is "officially" the worst killer in the game.
-
My Build:
Perks - Coup de grace ; Iron Maiden ; Darkness Revealed ; Lethal
Addons - Oak Haft ; Leather Loop

Right... I don't think it would be a good idea to kill him completely @Jangles, nor is it really possible to spray yourself after dropping a pallet @Devil_hit11. At least not if the killer knows about his vaulting ability (useful with strong pallets) or if he doesn't kick the pallet at all. In addition, the survivor would have to have a spray can in the first place.
We had a pretty good suggestion from a user here on the forums. I don't remember their names unfortunately, so I'll just reproduce their suggestions here.
After being unhooked, the infection timer pauses. The timer starts running forward the moment the survivor decides to perform a conspicuous action.
Imo that's pretty fair for both parties. And that's all that matters to me.
-
Maybe he was designed that way at some point before the PTB release and the wiki team somehow found those old files about Wesker. There was never anything like that in PTB/Live. I know DbD Wiki is usually very helpful and reliable, but they can make mistakes too.
-
I like Wesker's messy hair and the knife looks awesome, but that's about it. Too little to make me buy it. Which is a shame considering we probably won't be getting any more Wesker skins anytime soon... or ever.
I would have bought the knife, but it is a linked cosmetic. They love those.
-
Enjoy it while you can. As a Flashbang enthusiast, I'm pleased with this bug. I mean, you still have to fix 50% of a gen per grenade, right? Looks more like a QoL change to me.
-
You will get the same answer as everyone else (if any): If EAC bans you for using such program, BHVR won't help you.

Yup, removing EGS will totally rid of all hackers and homophobes in the community!
Not only that. I am pretty sure that gas prices will go down again and inflation in general will be decent once they get rid of EGS.

I remember when in 2018 BHVR has given out hard earned event skins and PAX skins because "exclusivity is a nono", while simultaneously refusing to address legacy problem.
Now they return back to time limited skins, only now they are also in the shop instead of being earnable. Meh
Did you really believe them? The only reason they gave away all those skins (at least imo) was to ruin the code sellers business. They were selling some skins for ridiculous prices. For example, I remember the Street Meg cosmetic was about $70. Some other skins were even much more expensive.

I remember before the game revamp that the only Survivor I had prestiged 3 times was Jeff.
However, I have Nea, Claudette, and Jeff all in red. What does this mean? I haven't been able to find any explanation about it in the game.

Seems like you P3'd all of them, not just Jeff. Or a bug maybe.. who knows.
Edit: The red background only means that you took these characters to P3 BEFORE the Prestige Update.

Ok, she doesn't look like Hag at all, but the face is really super weird. It doesn't look like The Artist at all. Even more suspicious is that most people don't even realize it.
-
All the maps you mentioned are trash, but Eyrie, Garden of Joy and RPD are causing a different kind of pain to me. Probably because they are the three most recently released maps, demonstrating that the devs haven't learned anything about map design in the past 6 years.

Buff other killers and nerf wesker should be solution then.
And why would they nerf Wesker? Because he's fun? The guy you are directing your response to has exaggerated quite a bit. Wesker is definitely not a top 3 killer. Maybe top 7, but even with that statement I would be careful.

I have a buddy that constantly throws in order to do stuff like what OP does and somehow has decent luck taming killers; I hate that it works as much as it does 😅
If you do that to me, you are usually free to go. I love some types of players. Cocky ones and fun ones. When I see Head On, Flashbang, Blast Mine or Pebble gamers, I just can't kill them. Item deals are less tempting, but can also work.
-
He's kind of ideal as an opponent. He's not strong enough to feel a "unfair", but he's also not weak enough to have a super easy game. In loops, you still have the upper hand as a survivor, but you need to understand how he works to actually have that advantage. I still see most survivors looping him wrong and getting caught easily at shack or jungle gyms. But I love going up against Wesker. In my personal experience, he is the most fun killer to go up against (besides Bubba).
I also love playing as him. Even though he is really inconsistent in Window Vault situations and also he still drops people from time to time for no reason. I'd like to see a few small tweaks to improve him to perfection (just my subjective opinion obviously), but he's fine now, too.

So it was a cheater?! That was the most subtle cheater I've ever seen. She didn't do anything weird. She just had perks like Bond, dead hard, I think wiretap and probably Vigil if I remember correctly. Wow.
Maybe they just had the hack/cheat for unlimited offerings. That thing might be much more common than the worse gameplay cheaters I would think.

Have you tried redeeming the code in the in-game store? If not: do it.
