Lmfaooo, I love this comment. Definitely gonna use this one the next time a teabagger decides to complain that I camped him.

    Because they are dlc perks.

PS: You won't ever see "auto dictate" on the shrine lol

But bamboozle is in the Shrine right now, no idea what you're talking about?

Some people are under the (false) impression that the developers hand-pick the perks and purposefully avoid paid DLC perks to "force" people to buy the DLCs.

    @OXY @Orion
If you keep reading you'll see that i meant "less likely" to spawn.
I also said that i was just guessing, so never said it was true.
    Have a nice day.

My bad, only read your first comment haha. Yeah, who knows. I was waiting for Hex: Ruin to appear for ages, ended up eventually just unlocking Hag and getting it that way instead. Never wait for the Shrine.
    You too :p

  • Yes, you are correct.
Buying Leatherface means you can use the BBQ and Chili perk, levelling him up will give you the option to learn the Teachable which will then have the perk appear in every other killers perk tree.

  • I don't rescue Survivors under these three circumstances

    - If the Killer has NOED.
    - If the Survivor is being camped.
    - If I am being chased.

If the Killer is patrolling the map and looking for me then i'll go for the rescue. Really this is the only suitable option imo.
  • 5. Hillbilly (Keeps you on your toes with how fast he can get across the map)
    4. Clown (Challenging to play against with his bottles)
    3. Huntress (Fun to play against)
    2. Leatherface (Nice, simple killer)
    1. The Shape (Love everything about this killer, definitely keeps you on high alert throughout the game)

I’ve always thought they should give SC a certain amount  of charges (like a reverse stake out) so you can only heal yourself a number of times in a match.

So basically a First aid kit.

  • Tunneling doesn’t exist. If you can’t lose the killer than that’s your fault. If your team doesn’t mosquito the killer, that’s on your team. It’s not hard at all. There’s four of you and you are ridiculously strong when together.
You've barely had this game a month and you're acting lile you're an expert. Just stop lmao. Tunneling does exist and doing your method wastes time for everybody.

The best counter is for the Survivors to continue doing gens if someone is being camped. Sucks for the guy on the hook but it also sucks for the Killer, as it will be an easy win/pip for the three survivors
  • Dead By Daylight 2

  • I don't know man.

"Try to camp a bit less" Seems almost as if you're trying to tell him how to play which some may take as an insult.

So you want another chance to escape? Lol no having rng to get a free escape is stupid and can screw a killer over in 1 self unhook so no get better

I don't think you're going to like the new survivor perk "Deliverance" that's coming with the next update then...

    @mcNuggets said:
So you want the killer to look at you dying for 120 seconds, just because you feel like you shouldn't have died?

You actually should instantly die when being the last survivor.
And that without going through all the stages which serves no reason anyway.

You realise you can attempt to unhook twice before you start struggling right?

  • The issue with SWF is that they can inform each other on the Killers location to the point where it puts the killer at a huge disadvantage. So if you have voice coms available with randoms then it doesn't really fix the problem, but instead makes it much worse and unavoidable.

Imagine it though, having some little ######### screaming down your ear as you're carrying him to the hook because you downed him, being toxic asf. Nah.

  • Survivor.

Killer is just too stressful for me at times, with survivor I can relax, have fun and still do well.

  • That moment you get your hands on that little s*** who's been pallet looping, flashlight spamming and teabagging you all game. Camp him so hard your lips are puckered up against his when he's on the hook.

    That'll teach them, pfft.

  • Jesus christ, can you imagine the amount of toxicity that will spew out of competitive games on DBD? It's bad enough in casual.

Sorry but he should be nerfed. Way too fast and to have his potion slow you to 80% is just ridiculous. Not saying he should walk but let's be realistic about it. He is a large clown that sounds like he needs an inhaler and he can move that damn fast. Yes I read his backstory but after all the years of fiddling with these potions seem to have made him wheeze..put that together with his size and he is going to out run me with Sprint Burst even with no potion thrown? Get real

Since when was DBD meant to be realistic?

Since they have these wonderful back stories on each killer and survivor making them sound like they are or were a real person.

Well yeah, the lore has to be convincing enough for it to be a good story. Doesn't mean it has to be realistic. You might as well ask why the Nurse is able to float, or why there is a woman with a pig head running around.

  • Clown is fine the way he is.

People who are saying he is OP and needs a nerf don't know how to counter him

  • I don't think it would work very well.

Think about it though. Four survivors, 16 perks. That means the Killer would be OP asf with the amount of bonuses he will get, whereas the Killer only has 4 perks so the Survivors will hardly have a variety of bonuses.

  • None. They're all boring imo.

  • I wish it worked like that

I don't think they'd make cosmetics give an advantage though. Otherwise it'd be Pay2Win.

  • Yeah, it could've lasted longer. Weren't they late with it too?

Flashlight, DS and pallet looping the entire game. Such a great combination.

I bet he complains when a killer camps him though.

He didn't use his flashlight, he missed DS. What else is he supposed to do aside from looping? Give himself to the killer?

Try and lose him by juking him? All he is doing is just running from pallet to pallet and not even making an effort to lose him but instead waste his time.

Right and it worked...because the killer was bad and didn't go after someone else.

It doesn't matter if it worked or not, it's making the game hell for the Killer. Losing him would've worked too. You're probably a survivor main and wouldn't understand anyways.

  • One thing I'm confused about. If you can't derank back down to the Rank 17-20 bracket, what happens if somebody comes back to DBD let's say on the 10th (three days before reset) and wants to play? Everybody would have ranked up past that bracket and they won't be able to find any matches.

  • There's actually a secret easter egg that the developers added to the game in the last patch. If the Killer is covered in Blood (Prestige 3 clothing), go up to them with a first aid kit and it will allow you to heal them. Once you heal them you won't hear a heartbeat anymore. They will then be motivated to open the gate for you for your act of friendliness.

    Enjoy!

Did you hook the person and immediately run to the other side of the map and face a wall? No? Well then you’re a piece of ######### camper.

I was literally called a face camper last night because I hooked a guy then the gates got powered on so I stayed near the hook patrolling it and a door. You cannot please salty survivors unless you go out of your way to give them every chance to win. This dude ran up, knowing I was near, got downed (NOED FTW), hit his Little Dick Perk (dstrike, he wasn’t the obsession so I had no idea he had it, those are the most triggering) and I still caught him again and hooked him and he showered me with salt.

Played a 4 person SWF earlier in the night and as I am carrying one to the hook two of the other ones are swarming around me. I hook and there are scratch marks everywhere... why would I leave? They end up getting 1 gen done and all die. Of course I get messages saying I’m trash and a camper. Of course this SWF group had four sprint burst, four self care, and four dstrike.

You even get salt from survivors as a survivor. I was on Coldwind Saturday night and got downed by a LF. He took me all the way to the basement and then was face camping (he ended up being a butt hurt killer who was butt hurt that I’d escaped him the match before this). Anyway, the other three survivors pop two gens and then all three rush the hook. Two get downed, I get rescued and put into BT bleedout, LF tunnels me. All four of us die, all of them ended up getting downed doing that stupid rescue. One of them messages me after the game literally upset and blaming me for what happened because I got hooked in the basement.

Jeez, sorry that you had to be put through that man :/ I guess no matter what as a Killer, you'll always get grief from the other survivors. It's almost as if they expect you to play stupid and go along with it. At times I hook somebody and run across the map and I'm thinking to myself "Why am I running across the map aimlessly? I want to patrol the hook and make sure they don't rescue them". The reason I run across the map is because if I don't then it's just pure toxicity afterwards. But then I'll feel bad if I do patrol the hook because I don't want them to complain. Idk, I guess I'm too nice.

If survivors want to insta-gen with zero times of me seeing them (they hear terror radius...urban evasion away and this repeats...) and I'll end up de-pipping from it, i usually just go try to have fun elsewhere...like I'll go sit at one of the exit gates so they don't get the points there since they are playing like little babies or i'll go sit in the basement and if they want more points...they gotta come down to see me.

Not every game plays out that way but sometimes its like..."You guys did really well, congrats, now get out since you wanted to insta-gen with no chases...good we all will get no bloodpoints and it was a waste of 5 minutes"

Wait, I'm confused. Why wouldn't they get BP? They did all of the generators, opened the gates and escaped. That's enough to pip once and gain quite a bit of BP isn't it? Unless I misread something ^^

Sorry, i didnt mean none at all, i meant it would be a low scoring game because we havent had any chasing or altruism/hits on either side. I was venting about BNP/insta gen behavior that i dealt with a lot this weekend during the double BP event. Sorry in general, I played freddy all day saturday to burn through all his xp related offerings and i think it left a bad taste in my mouth....i gotta go play civ

Ahh, makes sense. Haha no worries. Yeah, it's sometimes nice to take a break from this game. Can get a little too much at times.

  • Could work... Problem is, during SWF I notice that Bodyblocking, Flashlight spam, Gen Rushing and pallet looping is a lot more extreme. How would giving two extra perks prevent these from happening?

Not hating on the idea, it is DEFINITELY a step in the right direction. Some problems will still be there though.

  • You were probably in a bad ping lobby. Pallets are fine the way they are imo. And of course they will be able to hit you DURING your drop, because the pallet isn't all the way down yet...

Too many issues with that, and not all SWF using comms.

Well, you cannot stop people from using Discord. Coming from that, either you delete SWF, which would be suicide at this point for this company, or you just give advantage to solo players and try to boost killers accordingly in exchange. (or try to... I'm kinda doubtful.)

True. I personally love playing SWF but hate playing against it. And I'm one of the SWF players who don't need voice comms. I get your point, maybe buffing killers instead is the right way.

Exactly this. It's great to hop on DBD after work with a few buddies and play together, most of the time I only play with one friend. Seems a lot more fun played with friends. HOWEVER, if you're a killer then it's hell if I'm honest and it's just not fun at all. I can handle 2 SWF's just fine but any more than two and I refuse to play that match. Far too much stress and toxicity usually. And like, I don't exactly want SWF to be removed because I want to still be able to play with my friends, but at the same time I want an option to avoid it as Killer. It's such a ironic thing to say I know.

I just don't know how you'd fix that issue though. Limit SWF down to 2 players? Create a filter match system where players can tick what type of matches they want to be put in? Not sure.

  • Woah, how many hours have you got in this game?

Now that you've maxed out Killers, you thought about maxing out survivors?

Man, I've not went against one of those Twitch streamers yet. I imagine it'd be easy asf though. Just have their stream on the second monitor and hunt them down, 5-10 second delay but the scratchmarks would show ^^ Easy kills. :+1:

And then you'd get banned for stream sniping. Easy ban.

Can't really prove it on a game like this though.

  • Go for it! If you don't end up regretting it years down the line.

I bought them Fallout 3/4 bobbleheads years back, they are just sat on my shelf collecting dust, staring at me. Waste of money tbh. If you think it will be the same with this then maybe rethink:) At least you can wear this I guess.

If I WAS to get one then it would probably be one of Doc's cosmetics. He looks dapper in one of those waistcoats (or whatever they're called)

  • Odd. Today I've been finding matches really quickly as Killer. Usually it has ALWAYS been the complete opposite. Matchmaking is quite annoying at times.

  • The perk isn't always guaranteed to show up that week though, so you may be waiting a while. BBQ is definitely one of my favourite killer perks. I personally find Leatherface really fun to play as well. It's entirely up to you.

Can either wait or buy it and get immediately.

Anyway, it was just me and him left and he was opening the gate. The Killer came and downed him then put him on the hook. There honestly wasn't much I could do as the Killer was camping him because the gates were open... so I just left. No point in risking it and going down as well.

Then he started raging and blaming me.
