Every time I boot up DBD it loads the splash screen for Easy Anti Cheat then crashes and restarts my PC. Some fixes I have tried have been turning off steam client and tried going into the bios to turn off XMP but is already disabled and reinstalling Easy Anti Cheat. Hello! For some reason, when jumping on the run, the character stops and jumps at a normal speed (taking into account acceleration of at least 1 meter). I bought the game on the PS4 early Tuesday to cross-progress my Switch account and prior to the 8.1.1 update, I had no issues playing. Afterwards, the game started to crash at random times and give me the same error. I just tried reinstalling the game and it crashed as I was at the loading screen for a Custom Match against bots. I have been getting these errors more frequently since 2v8 but I got two of them before the mode went live. It is now causing me DC Penalties. Behavior something must be done about the hacking situation it is not fun at all. Wait 45 plus minutes just to load into a match with a hacker or more that is somehow able to disable killer abilities I was trapper didn't spawn with 4 traps and unable to place them my friend a streamer once was wraith and once unlocked he couldn't cloak the rest of the match. I'm not able to play because multiple errors are appearing. I usually play through Steam, and every time I logged in, I encountered various errors like 'connection error' and 'initialization error.' I thought it might be a Steam bug, but when I downloaded the game through Epic, another error appeared "Game version is invalid". For some reason people said movement speed buff Huntress was way too over powered and literally unbeatable when she moved faster while holding hatchets, I present to you 2v8 Huntress who moves faster while holding hatchets. Still very much so loopable and the only thing that can be considered remotely oppressive is 10 hatchets. I wish solo killer queue wasn't so brutal, but I did the first page of the event tome and I'm having fun on both sides. The game feels like it's a lot faster paced and I like that every set of powers you take as survivor or killer comes with something to benefit you and something to benefit your team if you stick with them. Simply put, title says it all, I see everyone complaining about how the trapper is the weakest killer and needs so much help in the 2v8 mode, but in my opinion, quite the contrary.. Simply put, the trapper is probably one of the best of the 5 choices available.. This mode brought me back to the game and it feels like how the game was meant to be as a chaotic party game. It would be extremely disappointing if it disappears in 2 weeks because 1v4 doesn't have the same excitement for me and many other players. I believe a Five Nights at Freddy's chapter would be great for the DBD universe… especially with all the FNAF hype right now, with the new show and whatnot. could do something similar to the twins, having multiple 'killers' on the map at a time…. being as the animatronics sneaking up, and u dont know if its moving or not is the key thing of FNAF fear factor.. We all have our opinions on 2vs8... I love it personally on either side... However one thing I've noticed, especially on Killer side, is this game mode is a totally different beast to regular DBD. There are certain elements that cross over, but if I would use a word to describe the game mode, I would pick bonkers. I use the flashbang perk in one of my loadouts. No matter the character, once I craft a flashbang in a locker, the carried item (medkit, toolbox, etc) is dropped and glitched inside the locker. Though the item is partially visible from outside the locker, it cannot be picked up again even after dropping/using flashbang. I play almost everyday and since the last patch the wire spool addon for the tool boxes is completely missing I leveled several survivors many levels and between 15 levels I received 2 wire spools? this is a uncommon part? Today we received Bug Fix 8.1.1 and it didn't help at all. Lobby crushes too many times Some weird invisible walls or floors on Suffo Pit Azarov R. Place is completely broken Garden is broken with some bugs again. Maps were overall fine, except of invisible walls. I miss my perks and addons. I‘m not a fan of the class system, especially not on survivor side. I don‘t like that in this gamemode survivors are literally getting farmed and that you have to farm the survivors insanely fast. There is not really any interactivity between both roles. It's about chases, playing by hooks (cages now). No carrying, just a fast animation to send them to a cage and then go and chase others. This might be a very controversial opinion, but perks should've never existed. That was a mistake. The second I get hit with franklin's it's a big hit to the morale. I don't even run. I get hit, drop my item and stop moving. Try to 4% then let the entity take me. after entering 2v8 mode my killer was changed to Trapper, as my main killer isn’t supported on that mode. I bough the skin from the rainbow six siege survivor set in the collection window, however when I want to equip my Renato Lyra with it, it's not showing up, also in the character menu it's not showing up the skin at all.
