Sorry, I'm not good at speaking English. Compared to the 1v4 mode, I felt that 2v8 wasn't a mode that offered the thrill of fair battle, but rather had more of a party game feeling, where players could enjoy the chaos in a more casual way. Speaking as someone who plays both sides extensively, being able to instantly down a survivor is not fair. Some one hit downs, like Oni, Michael, and Ghostface, can be sort've excused, since it has to build up, but even then - there's very little to no counter play. You always help me complete challenges, are usually down to be silly, all while putting up with the most nasty Killer players out there. Just say you dont know how to solve it and we will shut up. But dont ignore and try to hide from the issiue thats been going on for years. It leaves a sour taste, simillar to the trickster epilepsy drama. This is the kind of non-engagement with your community that makes your playerbase very illoyal towards you as a developer. Dead By Daylight had a whopping 50% increase in peak players, and will probably create a new all-time peak for the game. Now, I don't play survivor so I can't comment on that, but 2v8 made me feel like all the stress of playing Killer is gone. 2v8 is a good concept but there are a few things I would change. For survivors instead if having classes have certain perks to choose from and mix up from each of the classes. Or have just 2 players of each class randomly selected at the start of the match. While Medic and Scout are weak, Guide especially, and Escapist are overpowered. It's so easy to do generators in this mode already, you could maybe slow gen repair speed so that guide is just a help and doesn't absolutely break everything3 comments 71 views last activity

The idea itself is really nice but I think all the buffs and different features within the killers and classes make it feel less like DBD and just a new game. I think instead each class should be based off of actual perks that are available within the game. Ex. : Escapist class: lithe, hope, finesse, dead-hard. We tried to find each other on the channel of OhTofu, with cross play OFF, and we were all on Steam. I was from Italy, but all the others from NA East as Tofu. It didn't find a lobby even with all the necessary people! Me and my boyfriend queued for 2vs8. I wanted to go as huntress, he wanted to go as trapper and after we got into a lobby, his character was changed to huntress and mine to trapper. For our second match I went as trapper and he wanted to go as hillbilly but his was changed again for huntress after we got into the lobby. Been playing the new 2v8 mode as a survivor, and recently ran into a bug where a hook was placed in front of a cage. I could not save the survivor as there was no interaction available, but the cage teleported away before I could try anymore. I am loving the new game mode I wish it was permanent not only that I feel like there needs to be more killers added to the mode not just the basic 5 killers. Also we should be able to pick any map with the new mode which is a lot of fun. Also this mode is alot survivor sided because there are 8 survivors and 8 generators. They fly by so fast. The world generation sometimes ######### up and removes a wall in 2v8. If you leave through this wall and wait by the exit gate, then as soon as the end game collapse starts you escape the match and win.
