So I just lost a long chase at the end of a long match because balanced landing didn’t trigger as I ran off a hill. Yet again... I really don’t get the inconsistency in how this triggers. There are times when I’m trying to conserve my BL so I slowly crouch slide off the side of a hill and it triggers. I really don't think the shadow people are adding anything to the immersion, and I know quite a few must feel the same way. The SWF flow integration is a great change, thanks, but even just having the three floating plus signs would look better, imo. maybe an invite friends button on the sidebar where switch to killer used to be. I'm sure this has probably been addressed elsewhere but are they ever going to fix the issue where you leave a gen (or reposition on it to avoid killers sight line) and the generator instantly explodes even there was no prior audio cue? Generally I see one person get one shot and it's gone. I've never had a killer 1 hook 4 people with Haunted Grounds until just now, and it was brutal. One guy broke the totem immediately as I was walking to another person on a gen with Bond/Prove Thyself because gen rushing seems to be the only way I ever escape, which does not happen often even then unless SWF. Wait..So, when Survivors are asleep, they are Oblivious. Which means Terror Radius effects don't work on them. ..The Dream Realm is Freddy's world, so should it not be the other way around? When they are awake; Freddy is less scary, and less able to harm them, so any TR perks don't work on them. When they are asleep; Freddy has complete control. TR effects should happen. It's completetly logical that Borrowed Time should depend on the killer's distance. Many killers like Ghostface, Pig, Wraith, Huntress, Nightmare, Spirit and Demogorgon are way too strong countering it. Since tunneling is one of the most frustrating aspects of this game, I suggest that BT should work in a 16/20/24 meter range to the killer. And with that also against Insidious Campers. I wasn't sure what category to put this in, so hopefully this will do. I heard a while back that survivors who get enter are in chase will get 1/3 of the bloodpoints which the other 3 survivors are earning whether it is gens, totems, healing, unhooking, etc. Some of my DBD friends said that this was already implemented and maybe I'm just oblivious to what bps I'm actually getting in a match. I have received many messages while playing killer from mad survivors but when I play survivor, which is my main, I don't get many messages from killers but today I got one that pointed out my tactics that I used in the match such as flash lighting when they broke a pallet or looping them around the factory, we were on one of those maps with the window in the factory. I think the devs did a great job on reworking Badham, particularly with pallet spawns. When I play survivor, I feel theres enough pallets close together that I can hop between many in a chase. When I play killer, I feel the pallets are easy enough to mindgame. Now the question is will the devs ever rework the older maps, aka Coldwind, Macmillan, and Autohaven. I am genuinely curious why? What does it change? We download, play, give tons of feedback and what happens in return? The bugs in PTB mostly transfer to the live version. So I am guessing no to bug reduction. The balance and game play changes not reflected on live version either. Even the ones strongly recommended in PTB, don't show up till the hotfix patch. I love playing against the demogorgon, the chase music is awesome, that scream you hear when he hits you or someone else brings a great scary atmosphere, and I think he is pretty balanced, not too OP, not too weak, just great. But the new map, boy that one sucks, even worst than the pig's. So I just got here from a horrible Demo game. Portals destroyed in mere seconds, could never lunge because of their optimal routing, and they put so much pressure on me that I could do nothing to pressure back, despite having Discordance, Pop, Ruin and Corrupt. If anything its a perk aimed purely at beginners, and is (in my own opinion) a complete crutch. Begginer aimed perks should be accessible by default for beginners atleast until they get adjusted to the game. Same thing with things such as windows of opportunity, deja vu, this is not happening, fixated spine chill (despite all of these perks being quite powerful or useful in their own right.)
