I don't know if frames make a difference but dead hard seem to fail a lot against pc killers.
And it's not me failing because 2 years using it got me the timing...
Maybe since their game is smoother, that timing changed but how am I supposed to dead hard when my brain sees the killer farther away from me than the necessary?
Thats true, as a dead hard user I feel the same

Ever since they increased the tick rate, things have been pretty good. Frames tho

Edit: I play on Xbox
Tbf, I feel like I've been getting pretty potatoe teammates even before cross play lol

umm you can 100% hide your red light mid chase on controller, i do it literally every game
yeah u gotta know them strats, but I think u can agree its pretty effective

Honestly, no. I play PS4 as well, and while I've run into more skilled players, I think it's only because I'm getting lobbies with players close to my level. Before cross play, I got lobbies that took for *ever*, and I got really mismatched levels on my team.
Now, the matchmaking time and accuracy has improved, and I feel like I'm getting a chance to get better.
Good point, I feel the same, its definetly a good oppertunity to get better . Thx for your feedback!

Just curious how good are you at looping?
Because if you're not strong at looping and you're at red ranks, that may be the reason why the killer is tunneling you. Especially if the other survivors in the game are strong survivors.
The best way to reduce the chances of you being tunneled in a match is to improve your looping ability, there are many good tutorials on Youtube to help you get better. A killer can't afford to chase a strong survivor at a good set up, otherwise risk losing the match. Most killers will give up the chase once they realize a survivor knows what they're doing, go for the weak links instead.
Im a pretty decently good looper, and I'm at yellow ranks currently

I play on Xbox, the lack of optimization is a huge disadvantage. Getting hit buy sloppy butcher (or any status) do the first time causes your game to hitch for a solid second, and that can easily get you killed. As a killer when blood lust activates the same thing happens and the easily causes you to lose track of a survivor. Both are super frustrating to deal with
yeah like I said im on ps4, and those small hitches to tend to effect my gameplay from time to time, it sucks. Thx for the feedback!

Killer's just be in a bad mood atm haha, with the recent hooking bug, some survivor's take advantage of it and bodyblock even more than usual for the killer on the way to hook. chances are the survivor will wiggle off 90% of the time while trying to re-align so he can hook.
Then again, a survivor accused me of tunneling him the other day while i was playing PH, he found my ruin early on and kept trying to cleanse my ruin totem repeatedly in the space of 3 minutes between being hooked and caged, as if i'd let him cleanse it without taking action.
Hmm yeah you're right, the bug does add another aspect to it. Thx for the feedback!

As killer, a bit but not enough where I'd complain about it. It's mostly just frame issues really, I don't play Huntress or Nurse and a lot of survivors are still potato. I've also run into more good teams but no tournament squads where I felt it was impossible to win or anything.
As survivor, not even a little. I don't notice any difference in killer skill outside of Nurse and Huntress and in solo queue and duos I'm still normally the only one doing most of the gens but not always. So, not much has changed really. That said, when I do get people that actually know how to play, that is a lot more noticeable then when it was only PS4. As in I've had a lot more "let's not heal in a corner and instead work on them gens" which has been fantastic.
I'm also super happy that crossplay even became a thing since I've been able to go against some streamers as well, even ones I don't watch just because it's fun to see things from another perspective. Hell, last weak was a ride, went against a hacker, Zubat and Ralph pretty much back to back. That was great.
good points, and I agree Im really lovin crossplay too its been a blast so far. Thanks for the feedback!

Gameplay wise it's completely fine. I've gone against a few really good PC Nurse's already and was able to have decent chases. So, in terms of gameplay difficulty, it's pretty similar and if you're already skilled at the game, then you'll do good against any platform.
But, like others have mentioned, the framerate is the biggest killer. Maps like Midwich, Lery's, Hawkins, etc, lag frames insanely. They need to fix the framerate of this game on console. Then it would be much better.
Yeah Im learning framerate do be a killer tho. Thx for the feedback!

Claiming to be actually "rolling on the floor laughing", or "laughing out loud" because of an event that happened in the game, which is probably the exact opposite of the subject of the claim.
My question is this: Do you want to send these messages or receive receive them? Because that is what you are missing out on.
I totally understand what u are saying, and I never send toxic messages and I dont like recieving them either. Maybe im just naive for thinking that they probably wouldnt be toxic that much

Honestly, I would prefer it if they stopped with new chapters after the current roadmaps ends and instead focussed on game health.
I really care about the game health as well, I’d like to think the devs also are trying to improve game health as well, but maybe it would be good to skip a few chapters and focus More on health. I still appreciate the consistent updates though nonetheless.

I play on console as well, I'm assuming it will probably just be a learning curve.

Yeah dude no problem, I just take the game with a bit of salt, i'm gonna get trash teammates on solo who walk and crouch walk when the Killer is no where near or get Killers who are super tunnel camp sweats, I move on and keep playing, just use it as a skill opportunity and time for plays.
I respect that, thats the kind of mindset I try and use as well

Right now I'm mainly playing spirit, and sometimes ghostface.

I really like Pop.
But I suppose it depends on how easily you can down survivors.
If you can down and hook quickly Dying Light and Pop would be good. If you struggle with that then Ruin and Corrupt Intervention would be better.
Thrilling Tremors is iffy in my opinion.
I like pop as well, but if I'm choosing one gen slowdown perk(which I usually do) I usually either bring corrupt or ruin, I'm just conflicted because whenever you bring ruin you run the risk of it being cleansed in the first minute. Ruin is more effective but corrupt is a guaranteed two minutes.

Your title is begging the question you know
"Why do survivors DC" would be an honest question, adding "out of rage" proves you already have your answer...
I Apologize, I was gonna originally call it that but I just made it players, to not just have the discussion on one side. I’m sorry my question didn’t seem “honest” Im still asking a question that’s been on my mind for awhile.

I really appreciate someone saying this, because it's extremely frustrating when one person or more disconnect, for the survivors but also the killer. What bothers me most is when the killer hasn't even done anything, but the survivors disconnect anyways just because of who the killer chose to play. I often see them disconnecting for no reason, they just met a nurse, a spirit or the legion and disconnect. Instead of just dcing they should learn to counter these killers in the first place
I feel you, especially with them disconnecting because of the same few killers.

That would be great if they added that @SpaceCoconut

I also don't use add ons. I think it's much easier to figure out the add on's that I want to use later once I know what they can and can't do. To know, do I want increased or decreased whatever it is etc. What would help me or be "fun" etc. Further, not using add on's lets you save on bloodpoints too. Win/Win!
The best practice is to not rely on anything. Like if you can go both add-on'less and perk'less you are pretty skilled at that killer. And frankly should give yourself a good pat on the back cause holy crap that is awesome! :)
Makes sense to me me thx!

Try to avoid wakizashi, yakuyoke and prayer beads for sure. Then I'd suggest you to avoid every power recovery addon. Everything else is fine (father glasses are kinda of a training wheel, but is ######### after the shadow nerf, and for using mother ring you need to be good in the first place), once you'll understand how to calibrate your power, and that super speed boost lunge after she stops phasing is addon dependant you'll be fine.
Ask it to a spirit main, my opinion on her is a little biased I'd say...
I really appreciate the advice
-
@YaiPa said:
Depends on the killer. Some killers need addons to be even considered mediocre, others can became another killer, messing up your timing (like instasaw billy, or nurse with omega).
For me I want to start learning spirit

I'm far from an expert, and I'm really just a newb killer. But my experience from the survivor side should help.
First, the chainsaw aiming is harder than it looks. It's actually the hardest part of playing Billy in my experience. I don't know how they aim around corners when they get me but not all of them can do it. So work on the chainsaw aim I guess?
Survivors when fighting you will try to confuse your chainsaw by running around obstacles. When this happens you have two choices: stick to your guns and keep trying to hit with the chainsaw, or use M1. In my opinion you should know when to use M1 and when to chainsaw. Unless you're a god level expert M1 is the better choice. So while starting out learn to use M1 instead of the chainsaw in these dubious spots.
That's all I have for you. I'm sure the expert Billy's can tell you more.
Thx, I appreciate the advice.

I've been really enjoying the demogorgan I think he is cool and fun to play as, only thing I would say is that there is a learning curve with his portals that I am having a bit of trouble with. But other than that I really like him, I think the Devs did a great job.

They said once that even if people ask too much for example double killer mode, they would have to work too much for balance
I get it, even if they did try there would be a lot of balancing needed to release a mode like that.

@MiniPixels said:
Short answer: no
Long answer: Its possible but the chances of them putting out a new game mode while consistently coming out with a new chapter every 3 months is incredibly unlikely. So If they continue what they're doing without hiring more staff then no.
yeah I realize it's kind of asking a lot when they are already working on so many other great more important things, I understand it probably wont happen, but one can hope right?
