Same reason why Pig can't see RBT timers or Plague can't see sickness meter. The reason being...I really don't know?
-
I don't understand why they gave her a lullaby when she's supposed to be a stealth killer...makes no sense...
-
I feel like her power is fine, maybe just decrease the amount it takes for TVs to turn back on.
For perks, Merciless Storm definitely needs a buff. Just get rid of the "only once per gen" and it will be fine.
-
I've been taking a long break and it feels great, I suggest you do the same. Find and play other games that make you happy! It's not like DBD is going anywhere.

Different, and with Doug Bradley as the voice actor
I am so excited about this!!
my jaw has DROPPED. Thank you for giving me so much hype Mandy!

PTB is still downloading. Are they the same voicelines from before or are they with a new voice?

...A Twins Main?
That's more of a shocker from me than her one piece cosmetic bundle...
I'm sorry :(
It's a constant struggle maining them but their chase music is the only thing that's making me keep play them.
-
- Charlotte's fatigue needs to be reduced and switching back and forth from her to Victor needs to be MUCH faster.
- Victor's collision with literally every evironmental object needs to be improved, especially pallets and vaults. Whenever I try to leap over them I either hit it and get stunned or fly 2x further than I should've.
- Revert cooldown nerf PLEASE
- Addons need a pass
-
Twins Main here. They are one of DBD's most unique Killers and I hate how ignored they are. Plus, they have the #1 chase theme imo.
(Also, can we give Charlotte some more love?! All of her cosmetics are mediocre besides the funeral gown ones and she's pretty much just an M1 killer without Victor.)
-
Totally agree, they should've given the outfits for free to those with Prime but still but the outfits in the store so others could buy them.
I love how they made her only Very Rare cosmetic auric cells only and now locked her Rare outfits behind a paywall. So much for wanting to spend shards...

That's unbelievably bullshit. I'm not buying a new gaming service to get an outfit. I'd have way less of a problem with this obvious promotion if it didn't take away the outfits that would have been made available to everyone otherwise.
Agreed. Giving it for free for having prime is one thing but locking them behind it is just scummy. I also love how the didn't bother to give her a new weapon besides the one that costs auric cells. So much for saving shards...

Will they at least announce when the Twitch drops are happening? I'd hate to miss out on a cosmetic this way, especially when her selection is so limited.
I did some research and it is just for prime gaming. Meaning, you have to pay for prime in order to get the outfits...and yes...2 outfits...

Wait, twitch drops? I though that would be tied to Amazon Prime Gaming?
If its twitch drops its ok...but locking them behind Prime is real #########. Either way I don't get why they are making her Rare's exclusive, it makes no sense...

I never got a chance to play as Artist on the PTB (wait times were too long for me to bother), so I'm mainly looking forward to the new map and music. I'll get a shot to try her out soon enough, but again I'll probably be playing survivor for a few days just because of the killer queues. Maybe I'll finally have an excuse to bring some flashlights.
Artist seems neat, but I'm very uninterested in the new survivor and probably won't bother with him for a while.
Downing someone with a crow is so satisfying...especially if they run into an idle one. I hope you can enjoy her soon!
-
I hope they don't gut her as well. She has potential to be S tier, a Killer that WILL FINALLY shake up the same three high MMR Killers (is Spirit still considered S tier???)
I think she's pretty balanced. She's powerful, yet still balanced as you need to use her crows effectively in order to get the most of her power.
-
RPD or Badham. Both have horrible map design.

Rollwecoaster that derailed except it never really had railed to begin with and was being towed by 2 moose untill they got startled leaving a sinking cart in the middle of the ocean.
You summed it up better than I did lol. I can't support bhvr after this. Here I was excited for the new DLC tomorrow but it looks like I won't be buying it (or any other future DLC anymore!)

I love how this went from everyone getting pitchforks to then believing it was a scam and now we are back to the pitchforks. This has been one hell of a rollercoaster...

If your point of view is he must always be detectable, then a lullaby is the better option.
For a Deathslinger player than wants stealth, the TR increase was the better option. Even though they don't want it increased.
I don't mean to barge into you two's debate but I would take the TR increase over lullaby. Huntress I get because she is lethal from a far but I honestly don't see why Trickster or Deathslinger has one as Trickster isn't that lethal from far away and Deathslinger has a short range.
-
@ShinobuSK said:
Pig needs her TR back
Completely agree, she's a stealth Killer yet she has a large terror radius...
-
@Phasmamain said:
Pig was 28m if I remember correctly and deathslinger was because of him being ranged without a lullaby like huntress or trickster
You are right, I knew she had a unique terror radius but I forgot if it was 24 or 28.
-
Iron Will is definitely overpowered. It's a shame because perks like Off the Record are fun to use however, Survivors will always use Iron Will as it's just better in every single way. It either needs to be active whenever injured but not at 100% or make it like Lucky Break and give it a set duration.
I also think that normal breathing should still be heard.
-
I asked them to give Twins some love.

It's a type of cryptocurrency.
So essentially - From my understanding - You pay with a cryptocurrency for a chance to be one of 10,000 people who get the voice lines or Butterball. Just saying a chance because I'm noting the use of the word "NFT DROP EVENTS".
not the person who commented but thank you, this helped a lot. This is really scummy and it's sad to hear about but I am glad this came to light.
-
I just hate the fact that they are making him have a 32 meter terror radius. He was supposed to be stealthy and attack from afar.

no surge got no mechanical change, only name change
I know, I just checked, I was thinking about Third Seal and Blood Favor.
Hopefully Surge gets the same treatment in the future :(
-
@SkeletalElite said:
I personally think both base and ruin regression should be .5 c/s and that pop should be nerfed to something like 15-18% to compensate for the fact that the gen regresses faster afterwards
Surge/jolt should work on special attacks and should apply incapacitated to survivors working gens it triggers on for 14 seconds. Maybe reduce the cooldown somewhat.
Eruption would be fine with this change I think.
Isn't Surge getting buffed to do just that? I thought it got changed on the PTB...
I wish Oppression got a buff to give an increased penalty when failing the skillcheck. It's decent, but could still use some love.

I wasn't trying to compare gen tapping to NOED, the person I replied to was just saying the devs only listen to survivors because they don't want to upset them, which isn't true at all. They DO in fact try to balance for both sides.
As a side note, I don't believe in the "just do bones" stuff though. Solo Queue or the RNG (especially on places like RPD) make totems hellish to find/keep track of. If one side has to go out of their way to try and pre-counter a perk out of fear that it would drastically put you at a disadvantage, it should very much be changed in some way. That goes for NOED, that goes for Adrenaline, and probably a few other perks.
Oh sorry, I thought you were comparing how both are considered "fun". As for "do bones" I am excited to see how Boon Totems shake everything up.

These are the same dves who refuse to change NOED because they think the surprise factor is "fun", which has also been stated in a Q&A. NOED has been upsetting survivors for years now, and it's still not changed, so I don't share that sentiment at all. They just don't know what fun is, I guess. I like the idea of working on a gen for a couple seconds before the gen stops regressing, though. If it gave you a score event for stopping the regression, that would be even better.
I get what you are saying but NOED can be countered by destroying all totems before the exit gates are powered. There's no real counterplay against gen tapping. I'm not saying NOED isn't annoying, but there's a difference.
-
@GoshJosh said:
I advocate for a 5% base damage to kicking, nerfing Pop to 20%, and leaving base regression the same.
I actually like that idea!
-
@Labrac said:
As someone who doesn't run slowdown perks, sometimes the occasional Corrupt, base regression is worthless. The impact of kicking gens is next to worthless, to the point I don't even kick them anymore and still get the same results (good or bad). It's just a waste of time because survivors can just tao the gen to stop your regression for some reason, and even if you let a gen a full minute regressing (not probable), it still saves you only 15 seconds, while a single Pop saves you 20...
I only use Oppression on Twins and some others if I don't have the perks that I want but other than that, I don't use any either. I agree that kicking a gen is worthless as like you said, one millisecond and regression stops.

Q&A usually isn't worth watching, just safe questions get put up.
They used to be good when they did the old developer livestreams. Now its just, "we can't talk about that right now" or some vague answer.

As much as I want Twins changes, I think this was made in jest. Basically I'm seeing it as the "passing out" part being "Oh there's so much stuff between these changes and the boon totems, we're so funny." sort of thinking. Like I said, as much as I want these Twins and Legion changes, I don't think they're going to be included in this patch.
And they aren't!
-
@[Deleted User] said:
maybe part 2 will have legion and twins changes? because i know that trapper and legion were two killers that were rumoured to have changes.
I doubt it, why not just put them in part 1 with Spirit and Trapper changes? Like @Lliart said, part 2 is probably just boon totems.
-
I'm fine with her kicking up dirt but the whole directional audio thing takes away from the mindgame aspect of her. I also don't know why they changed her phasing sound radius to a flat 24 meters instead of her terror radius like it's always been.
-
She would do anything to protect her people. Hell, she even cut off her own toe and tried to use it to appease her god to help a sick woman. Unfortunately in the end, the Entity used the kindness and devotion she had to corrupted her into thinking that it was her God.
-
Iron Will either needs to be nerfed so it's not 100% silent at all time or make it so that you can still hear Survivor's normal breathing when they are injured. Survivors shouldn't be completely silent.
-
@WeenieDog said:

I'm assuming so you cant modify it with insidious or any other TR perk
Oh right, I didn't think about that. But still, it was bad using perks that decrease her terror radius since Survivors would be able to hear her phasing even closer.
-
Oh boy, that's a lot of addon passes. I can't wait for those killers to have the useless *insert disadvantage for double bloodpoints* addons.
Spirit nerf is interesting...they say within 24 meters but isn't that the entire range of her terror radius? Why wouldn't they just say "in her terror radius" then? I'm fine with Survivors hearing when she's phasing but there should be no directional sound, that kinda ruins the whole mind game aspect of her.
Also, can't wait for Pig to get nerfed!
-
Am I the only one that finds Charlotte attractive??
-
Like @Shroompy said, her puke is inconsistent due to bugs. You'll hit a survivor and they won't get sick or you do but Survivor's don't get as infected as they should. On top of that, there are some collision bugs that she has. I think that she is difficult to play, but very rewarding once you get the feel of her :)
-
I made a post about this a while back, I want it to come back too! It was really cool to see certain outfits become bloody.

Twins is fun....if they actually worked consistently. When I'm using Victor against Survivors that can flick around like crazy, it's hard to get hits. Inconsistent hitboxes and random environment clipping makes it worse. There's also just generally being inaccurate with pounce, which is frustrating by itself if it wasn't for all the other bs that's attached to it, as previously stated.
I love running at high speeds, latching on to someone and then closing in for the kill. It's a feeling that no other Killer really replicates and it's unique. Having Victor stationed somewhere and seeing the Survivor you just hit run towards him fills me with glee as I switch to him and end the chase by flanking them. The bugs and inconsistencies just ruins the experience of trying to actually fully enjoy playing them. It's why I can't for the life of me main them, despite loving them.
Let's not forget trying to pounce over vaults and pallets and then either dying immediately because you get stuck on top of them, or getting launched MUCH further than you should've gone.
