I'm not 100% sure how hit validation works but I believe its to do with how the server decides how an interaction is completed between a killer and survivor. So for example i swing thru a pallet, I hit the survivor but as the survivor dropped the pallet the server validated it in favor of the survivor. Here's a simple thing to think about - you CANNOT lose a grade,compared to a rank. Thus making a test late in the Grade season allows everyone to slowly flow up regardless of their real pip tally up because you cant lose a grade. Hence it being much worse than old ranked. Why is a 2k a win? Shouldn't the killer draw? 0-1k = loss 2k = draw 3-4k =win It's quite clear a 2k is in the centre, so why is it a win? I hate the whole kills equal kill mentality but why isnt it set out how I listed above? So in the MMR tests and them explaining what they did I find the grade section most interesting as the devs clearly states it's a good system but the real issues is when good players dont play in awhile and get reset... So theory, grades is better because it's not just based of kills/escapes.
