Nope, I just learned this is intended. Stupid if you ask me.
It's intended?! That makes absolutely no sense.
So they are still in the game but we can't have their tier 3 perks on anyone else? Like what

I hate this map so much on so many levels. I would rather play only on rpd or on the old dbd maps before they got there infinits removed.
Firstly what the hell is that for a mainbuilding? It has the worst window infinit of the whole game mixed with rooms that have 0% light (I don't know if this is a bug)
Other then that has the game the typical Shack plus 2-3 Looping buldings. But then there are gigantic death zones where the pallets are worthless. This mixed with the terrible Design of the map that you don't know where the end of the map is makes Looping a pain in the ass.
Now to totems...every map has ######### Totem spots but the spots on that map are just a bad joke. 90% of all totem spawns I saw until are completely open next to one Bush.
Oh and when we already talk about the bushes...what is wrong with them?! Trough some you can go and others have a Solid hitbox while others have a much bigger hitbox then the Bush itself.
We don't even get new maps with every chapter and when we get one then we get this? Please change the name of the map to Garden of pain. I will wait now for the "get gud" comments.

Well, do you want mobility or tracking as your main ability?
Personally, I'd recommend Blight. He'll give you Hex: Undying and he's an absolute blast to play once you get the hang of him.
But Doc isn't a bad killer if you're more inclined to make the survivors scream at every opportunity. Plus he has Monitor & Abuse, which is VERY strong on certain other killers (though no longer very good on Doc himself).
I do enjoy speed on killers tbh and his mobility seems second to none really; especially since he has been fine tuned since release.
Also like you said he brings some very strong perks to the table.

Pure satisfaction is having some cocky survivor pointing at you from the Exit Gate and doesn't realize that my Blood Warden was just activated...

Haha ok thanks; couldn't wait 5 mins to find out for myself :D

If they nerf the mori the key will get nerfed as well, perfectly balanced as all things should be.
I agree that the key needs be removed aswell; silly feature that can ruin a good killers game and give an undeserved win for a survivor/survivors.

Need MMR nevermind these red ranks etc.

According to the wiki, 11 chests are possible. There are probably at least 10 different spawn positions for the chests on each map (excluding the basement), so no problem to have 11 chests.
Ah ok thanks. Imagine everyone running plunderers xD

Camping isn't toxic. It's a legitimate playstyle. Is it a good playstyle? Not really, but it's not toxic.
Completely stopping a player from playing the game is a really antimate way of playing; toxic.

You shouldnt be a killer in the game altogether ๐คฌ LEAVE BUBBA ALONE

The fact that you can counter face-camping killers simply by doing gens doesn't make face-camping ok. The game becomes literally unplayable for the person on the hook. This has happened to me many times and each time I have encouraged my friends to just genrush and escape while I was on the hook, but that doesn't erase the fact that I'm just waiting for time to pass while I'm hanging there, being denied the chance to play during the entire match. This is scummy, much more than slugging or tunneling or any other strategy because here the person who got hooked can do pretty much nothing about it.
"That's just how the game is, if you don't like it play another game" according to this logic we shouldn't even be asking for buffs or nerfs then lmao. Dislike DS? Play another game. Dislike the gen speed? Play another game. You want killers to get buffed bc they're in a bad state right now (Clown, Leatherface)? Play another game. Lmao.
Couldn't say it better, good job. You buy the game and because someone wants to play like a halfbrain you literally cannot play it.

I've asked that he be buffed so that his power can actually be used for downing survivors in a chase, but...
But it literally can? You make one error and you get instantly downed because you cant escape a chainsaw behind you

@Hex_Generator said:
Camping and Tunneling are just ways of saying 'The Killer outplayed me, and I want an excuse'.
Killer camping? DON'T HIDE NEAR THE HOOK. Not doing gens is just rewarding him. And it's YOUR fault to reward this play style.
Killer tunneling? Again; The other 3 should do gens. If your chasing behind the Killer, hoping to save your friend, you're making the game last longer. This gives the Killer more time to kill the rest of you later.
But of course, so many Survivors believe they are the next not Otz. That THEY don't make mistakes. It's 'cheap tactics' that make them lose, because the Killer would NEVER win if they only played fair! So the Killer should stop Facecamping and slugging and tunneling and play FAIR!
(The Doctor's Note: 'Playing fair' varies from Survivor to Survivor. Killers must follow every example Survivor put forth, or be called 'toxic' and 'noob' and worse. Any attempt to use Killer's that slow down genspeeds is strictly prohibited in the civilized world. Ask your Survivor what Killer is right for you! ..Which I mean, for them.)
So it's the survivors fault for the killing deciding to tunnel them? The playstyle is so unfair for said survivor being tunnelled and its unbelievably unfun. Simply shouldn't be allowed to happen because there's no way to avoid it; if you killer wants to kill you they will kill you

It's not toxic to guard the hook or kill a survivor, or gen rush etc. If you don't like the rules of the game then play another game perhaps.
Damn i bet you're fun at parties

Last time I played leatherface some cheeky survivor teabagged me at pallet drop three times so I facecamped him in the basement. I thought revving my chainsaw would communicate to the other Survivors they were free to complete the gens, but instead they decided to screw around so I 4k'd them. I didn't camp the others, not for a second, but they still gave me a lot of salt at the end. ๐
even in good games there's a lot of salt at the end xD

@Orion said:
Because that's what his power does best. It's too constraining to use otherwise.
A killer that promotes the worst kind of gameplay and for you to play so 'antiplayer' shouldn't be a killer in the game altogether.

All you people questioning this idea, think about how stupid it looks, from a casual player's perspective, that you can fulfill the central goal of the game and still rank down. Like, pretend you don't know anything about this game, and that it is being explained to you for the first time. Think about how backwards that would sound.
I swear, people are incapable of stepping outside of the context of their own experience to fairly evaluate the flaws or merits of something.
Agreed. A casual player would know to complete gens and escape and sometimes (killer playstyle dependent) by doing so they are actually punished and de-pip.

No
There's too many noob survivors ranking up as it is. Your proposing if someone does absolutely nothing the entire game but gets out, they don't derank. What if they never saved anyone? never did a gen? Were never chased by the killer?
That should not be rewarded.
I see where you're coming it was just a quick idea but yeah what you mentioned is definitely a big flaw. Just hope the new system can fix these current issues for both survivor and killer tbh.
-
@TraitorousLeopard said:
For the ranking system? Sure, since that's on its way out anyway. For the new MMR system? Definitely no.
Yeah this is a tweak for the current system as it's flawed in a lot of areas in my opinion. New system should fix a lot of issues if its implemented correctly.

The only way to depip and escape is to literally not help people and not interact with the killer.
When the killer face camps and body blocks someone how do you expect to save them? And when they don't move and tunnel someone so hard you literally can't interact or get any kind of chase points. At red ranks you need like at least 1 gold 3 silvers so good luck getting that from a killer who refuses to play properly.
-
@Bovinity said:
Honestly, yes.
At least a safety pip if you get out, and at least a safety pip if you 4k. (Or 3k, since that counts as a "win" according to BHVR?)
Maybe they don't want to encourage people to hide in corners all game until the hatch/door opens or something. I dunno.
Yeah especially when you can't do anything about how the killer plays so you're forced to escape with minimal points. Definitely a way to improve the game.
-
@Bugcats said:
I think survivors should be guaranteed a safety pip if they finish a game by escaping the trial. Some games there's literally nothing you can do about a killer who camps a teammate other than finish the gens and escape; but quick game means 9/10 times at red ranks I de-pip. It just doesn't seem fair that by playing the game and escaping as survivors we still get punished by a killer not playing the game how it should be played. Just a thought and would be a pretty nice peace of mind buff for survivors; not even a gameplay buff.
@Rydog said:
Yes, a safety pip should be a guarantee if you get out alive.
Escaping and de-pipping is one of the most counterintuitive things in this game.
Glad you feel the same. It just seems pointless when you literally play the game as best as you can and escape but because the killer refuses to play properly you can't even safety pip.
