I'll explain what's going on here. Overwatch 2 is doing what is essentially a Winter Battle Pass. I'll cut to chase and say the thing that i hate the most about it. Even if you upgrade to the premium pass you can't even unlock everything. To put it into perspective, the feedback section of Meet Your Maker forums is more active than the general discussion section. And it is honest feedback hoping to improve the game. The haunted by daylight event is proving some concepts to me. That is that this game has room for changes that could be seen as drastic. Some form of the void or something like it has potential to be a permanent fixture in the game provided it had the right type of impact on the objectives. the future of dead by daylight needs to break up some of it's repetitive gameplay. Are there any plans to make any official subreddit for Dead by Daylight? I am aware the forums exist, but I believe the current unofficial subreddit is more active. That being said, it is not better by any means: the mods there currently frequently remove things that they simply disagree with, and have told people to unalive themselves before.
