Played a game last night and got a 4k. All survivors dead but game didn't end. Eventually found and closed hatch which started end game timer and thought great it will at least end now. Nope. So this Quality of Life initiative has been Content sacrificed for nothing it seems like honestly...You delayed all your content to literally change nothing near enough lol, if you were gonna waste this much time on the Anti-Tunnel and Anti-Slug, couldn't you have just focused on bug and balance fixes exclusively instead to help lower tier killers and perks. Sometimes I collide with literally nothing, I sometimes slide off a wall for no reason, sometimes I just drop a survivor even though they were never over a pit and were hit right against an object, sometimes survivors just slide off objects, sometimes they hit nothing...does the game just not know how to register a hit? When playing killer I struggle a lot because of the amount of pallets and how strong their perks are and the gens speed to much it's not a single chase without a gen done. I am a good player but it's impossible to win without doing a 3 gen and I am forced to tunnel and slug to get people of the gens. I can deal with a lot of things in DBD. Give me a camping/tunneling blight with 4 slowdown perks, and I'll still have fun in the match. Give me any killer with a ping over 200, and I know I'm gonna get hits stolen from me. It wouldn't be so bad if bad ping was rare, but it's pretty common when I play Survivor. Survivors just want their hand held… it's not like killers are stopping them from playing the game by slugging/camping. We gotta do everything to keep their winrate at 80%, screw the 4 out of 5 players you need to able to even start a match The only reason killers want slugging and camping to stay in the game is because it's an easy way to win for them. Happens all the time, I snowball with two people on hook and one person down, last person plays dumb and gets downed as well. Now they all DC and I am stuck hooking all the bots and hunting down the last bot who crawled off to who knows where. In todays stream, you mentioned in the survey that just over a little of 70% of people wanted 2v8 extended. Can I ask why this metric is at all used to consider when extending a mode when; 1) It's an Asym, survivors make up 80% of a lobby. Using this as a metric, completely ignores killer players. Hello everyone, I am a bit confused. When I started playing Dbd Pyramid Head was the New Killer in town. In the good old days the Movement Speed on Killers got explained to me like this. If the Killer is ranged or has a strong ability like Nurse or Spirit, they got 4.4ms all others have 4.6ms. Well this seems to be over. Deathslinger is 4.4 but Trickster 4.6? They should make current Insidious basekit, and rework Insidious to have the stats of that proposed Furtive Chase rework, I think. Me personally never supported a high attention to play styles, because I doubt we ever gonna get meaningful changes without huge disappointments for a half of community. But I still wonder. Waiting for 20 minutes to get a killer game only for it to be a 1v8 is infuriating! It makes me not want to touch the mode. It ruins the game for the survivors too since they don't even have to try to win. Like maybe if a killer hasn't moved in like a minute or 2 they get auto kicked for a bot. If 2v8 were a permanent mode, I would never play 1v4 again. I enjoy everything about 2v8, from the challenge of evading two separate killers to the chaos of so many survivors running around and tons of stuff going on all at once. 1v4 just feels so tiny and mundane by comparison. Hi, Even my steam deck has better input speed, no it's not my TV as I used an OLED lmao. I've tested on several monitors and its much harder to hit great skill checks on PS5, even with a wired controller and i think it's something to do with the games optimisation? it seems a little less impactful when I look at the ground. i swear i remember hearing that new DbD servers were active a few months back. one of the new servers was in Ohio, USA which is much closer to my state than the Virginia server. when it was active, i seen a pretty big decrease in my ping going from 65-70 on average to 40-50 on average. then all of a sudden it seems the server is shut off because now im consistently getting my 65-70 ping matches.2 comments 265 views last activity

The fact that you and your opponent are playing two different games means there is no way to directly measure your skill against your opponents in a fair manner. The only way SBMM will ever become effective is if the match format of dead by daylight were to change such that it were teams of 5 where each team had 1 killer and you played 2 simultaneous seperate matches on the exact same map and t12 comments 251 views last activity
