On paper it sounds like a good idea- allowing the last survivor an easier way out- but way too many times I've killed 3 survivors only for the fourth to instantly use hatch. Some of the few times I've managed to get a 4k forced me to run NOED and mori, which made me feel pretty dirty, and also forced my to camp the hatch which reduced everyone's enjoyment of the match. I've been trying to get adept for the Plague for quite some time now, I've had a few games so far and I have come so painfully close son many times but it is due to stuff that is completely out of my hand that I don't. The first match it was RNG with the hatch so that I understood, that was just bad luck. Yesterday I played a very long match with Piggy on Haddonfield (which the survivors chose as an offering of course), and as I was picking up a survivor to bring them to a hook I noticed that I could not see anything! The hooks on that map are ridiculously thin compared to other hooks and it was nearly impossible to see where they were. Idk, just been playing Plague today, cause why not, and it was going alright without Corrupt Purge (CP). Not denying CP is better, but i just never feel like going out of my way to pick up a CP charge. It's also kinda too bad you can't infect stuff anymore with CP. There are plenty of camera based horror stories to use but I'm going to use "Projectionist" as a name to make it simple. I feel like it would be really interesting to have a killer that can sort of project themselves around you as they chase you. I understand the devs have changed auras so they don't look like blobs and look alot more faint and I've seen the argument that "auras aren't supposed to be super obvious like they used too", but I literally CANNOT see either of their traps. For those of you that don't know, the Tar Bottle makes your traps considerably darker for the Trapper. This addon is god-tier, its the best addon on the Trapper (after the bags of course) by far. If you are playing Trapper at red ranks this addon is a must have. Without it, your traps will not work, ever. Currently, as Survivor, if I'm good against one killer and bad against another, my MMR doesn't account for that. I could have several matches of beating a Trapper, but my MMR isn't just increased against Trapper; it's increased against all killers. Wow another swf forum. This time I'll state what I've heard other people suggested in order to nerf swf and my personal opinion. Removing it completely would be a bad idea so, here are the alternatives! 1. Remove the ability to swf as 4 man and make it 2 man. Interesting choice but I don't suggest it. I've seen a lot of killers who prefer thrilling over BBQ as an information perk. My question is why? Is there any advantage you get over BBQ? Personally I feel BBQ gives more reliable info than thrilling. I know it’s not a terribly useful list, I mean if you’re good at killer you can wreck bad players with Speed limiter Bubba or a perkless addonless Clown. Buy I’m bored so which killers do you think may be better against bad survuvors than even top tier killers, or close? I had an Idea how to fix Legion so that he's not in such a weak spot as he is right now, but there's still Wraith and Trapper. Trapper is on the Edge of being a better killer or "A" tier as some say, however it's his traps that hinder him from being an "A Tier Killer". Wraith, we all know what Wraith's problem is. I only recently started DBD, (a few months ago when I hear the Silent Hill stuff was coming) and have been having a great time with it for the most part. I try to play a mix of Killer and Survivor so that I get a feeling for everything but I have found that people who seem to main survivors are just awful to play with. I keep seeing this whenever bugs are mentioned, a few counterpoints. Yea they’re a small company, but they seemingly allocate their resources ineffectively. I’m noticing recently that if the killer puts on a Ghastly Gateau a survivor is likely to disconnect. Is this a weird bug or am I missing something? It’s just happened to me now. I've now seen hundreds of comments, forum posts, videos, and screenshots about how terrible the new auras are on 4.1.0. I noticed it myself last night that DBD shot itself in the foot with the new aura system for one simple reason: it makes the game require MORE acuity, intense concentration, and makes the game simply harder and less fun to play. I own two 2560x1440 (2K) monitors. Recently with the new Midchapter, the UIs scale shrinked being way too small. I can barely focus my skill checks correctly now because every interfaces are too damn small. Yes I know, when they released the last chapter (Silent Hill DLC), the UI was now bigger for higher resolutions but why did they reverted this feature? Curious as to what the strategy is as a long time killer player. Consider this situation, which applies greatly to low mobility killers on large maps. You've hooked a survivor early game. Additionally i want to point out that the perk changes are amazing, even knockout is understandable, because it's now in line with other slugging perks like third seal. Simple change, let bubba automatically consume charges in sweep until manually canceled or charges run out. One, you have to constantly be eyeing your charge bar. More so than any other killer in the game. Two, you end up losing bits of your charge because being human means you will never consistently hit the button at the perfect time. What the hell happened to DbD? I never reached R10 Survs before but I come back after around 1-2 years of break and just went from R20 to R5 in about 10 hours. I am an absolute potato and even I get like 80-90% escape rate and the times I die is because I make stupid decisions in the endgame. I am a survivor main and usually play solo queue, so I use aura perks like Kindred, Bond, ect. I can barely see anything now, and on certain maps, nothing at all. Was this a purposeful change? Level 1 challenges have never been this hard imo, or this grindy. I just have to point out...WHY is this a level 1 challenges? Complete a match with ALL generators remaining with Ruin. 1. Ruin does not help you keep a 5 gen up. There's 4 survivors running around, you're gonna need them to play along or down people ridiculously fast at high ranks.
