  • Even when met with healthy changes that don't gut a perk, still so many people just bargain to get something more, some compensation for a nerf to lose a bit but gain more. This seems to happen with survivor perks more then it tends to happen with killer's. Last time when simmiliar change to a meta perk happened to pop, nerfing the duration so that cases when pop was used to down survivors in a

  • Well, at least people can't complain that the devs dont listen. For my two cents, I think this change was unnecessary. As many have said, DS was not intended, ever, to be an anti-tunnel perk. It is a watered down second chance perk that just happens to coincide with tunneling for one of its triggers. Even still, this will be a poorly-designed anti-tun

  • The thing is, whenever I face Clown I'm in for a bad time. He lacks map pressure but when I'm the one getting chased, it usually ends quickly. He is fast by default and can block off loops/windows (or make you slow down). Looping him results in me getting caught in his pink smoke eventually and running away is a matter of when he's on my ass again. So my question is, what can I do when getting

  • So off the top of my head I had a couple of those meme-linked stereotypes floating about that have come up with survivors over the years and wanted to help bring them together. If you guys have any to add please feel free to - though it being a known meme or something would be nice. ---------------------- Dwight Fairfield - Likes to Gen Jockey by design. Old Stereotype that they're bad at cha

  • If the current changes go live, Decisive Strike will no longer be abusable. If a Survivor gets unhooked and immediately begins working on a generator, DS will deactivate which means you no longer get punished for stopping generator repairs. With the new changes, the only way the DS + Unbreakable combo will affect the Killer is: The Killer tunnels The Survivor does nothing to progress the game

  • Title says everything, what character from a game/movie should be brought to the game I personally think Ryuk and L from Death Note should come to DBD. Ryuk would have an ability that works similar to the Oni, after damaging an enemy blood orbs drop and he charges his ability, once fully charged he takes a survivor down a health state and has a plague like ability where they go lose a health st

  • For those of you who don't know, SAM stands for Steam Achievement Manager, which you can use to unlock or lock back achievements. Now hear me out before immediately downvote. I just hit killer rank 2, excited to finally be able to get to rank 1 but I just remembered that I have it unlocked already on Jan 24, 2020, along with my killer rank 10 and 5 achievements. Now if you were around at that ti

  • Question is shown above, and also below... "Should you use DS early in the game or should I save it?" Good killers I go against tend to get rid of DS early especially when you just got unhooked. A couple of times I tried to save my DS for second hook but still get slugged and never got to use it. I get that the situation varies, though what would you guys suggest?

  • Seeing as DS is getting a rework and OoO is being looked at, it would be neat if the devs reviewed Sole Survivor. Maybe do a package deal called Laurie's Repertory or Strode Rework and help SS reach a better place (not meta, just viable). Thank you for joining my TED Talk

  • DEJA VU THAT’S RIGHT! Are you kidding me? 60 seconds of uninterrupted gen tracking at the beginning of the match??? What are they going to give survivors as a perk next, something to keep the CROWS quiet as they run by?? Well I for one have had enough! How am I supposed to farm the new helpless survivors who can’t find gens if Bhavior is just gonna show them where they all are?!?!?! It’s way OP

  • SO im gonna tell you the story about my game, and then I demand Advice on what to do in these kind of situation^^ Build: BBQ/ STBFL/ Tinkerer/Ruin I played as Clown on Yamaoka estate ( not the one with the house, the one with the big stairs in the middle) And I went to the wrong Gens first, But Tinkerer helped me out and I got to the first one in time to get a hit on one of them and the other o

You have self care you would have free wall hacks wouldn't that make it just a bit strong I just want to prevent ooo being free wall hacks but mid chase and the only thi g I can think of is ooo dosent work if you are within 10m of the killer

  • I've heard people often say, "nerf X killer." This inevitably devolves into "git gud" "yea, (s)he's so OP!" As a killer main that occasionally plays survivor, I'll often some advice on versing specific killers. I did about half of them and the advice is pretty short and general. Hopefully, it'll help some folks. Trapper Remember where he came from. It's likely his territory where he's set u

  • Like this map just sucks I hate it as killer because of the buildings and i hate it as survivor because it's just straight paths it is literally feels like midwich with 1 floor if your playing a m1 killer your not going to have fun because you hold forward drop a pallet run to a building and repeat (This is just a rant bad game with a huntress with insta hatchets so couldn't dodge because of

  • So in the last stream the devs showed us an idea for a perk rework in the future and mentioned that they would be inclines to do this more if we would keep discussions civil. Not 2 days later and I have already seen several video's on certain channels where they keep bashing the devs and calling this "cringe" and "condecending" You know the channels I'm talking about. The ones who post more vid

  • Make it a reversed BBQ and Chili. When someone gets hooked, you can see the killer for 4 seconds and he can't see you unless he has an aura reading perk like BBQ and Chili. It works at any range. It would levigate the hate towards BBQ while also providing a survivor a good perk that can let the person know if the killer is heading their way. Instead of BPs, you get unlimited aura range for 4 seco

  • So you know how when you play either role, the other side will complain about the perks you run during the end game chat. Usually if you're running meta perks such as DS, Unbreakable, Dead Hard, Borrowed Time, etc as survivor. As killer, survivors often will complain about perks like Undying, Ruin, PGTW, NOED, Devour Hope, etc. However, some players seem to always find a reason to complain, no m

  • There's no way this stuff hits. I don't care that the Devs said they "fixed" it. Having a Killer with high ping should hurt them for having a bad connection not help them. https://youtu.be/2MJJzKhZ0jM

  • It's intriguing to me that people think you can "abuse" any perk or strategy that isn't against the rules. Examples: I despise slugging. I especially despise when a killer uses it from the start as their whole strategy. It's the thing I hate the most about this game. As a matter of fact I hate it so much that I would quit playing DBD if slugging became the predominant killer strategy because i

  • Something that has always held me back from using OoO is how toxic it can be and how annoying it can be for killers. If the proposed version were to go live would killers still think it would be toxic to use OoO? To me it almost seems like a better version of alert.

  • So ive been waiting for this post to pop up but i haven't seen it, most people are focused on the DS "nerf" for obvious reasons, OoO is taking a backseat but the teaser is asking for feedback. I realize a lot of people don't care because its only a perk really used by SWF, this is your chance to change that. Got a better idea? Throw it out there? Think its ok as it is? You can probably skip this

  • Lots of people complain about NOED because it's an unfair perk, but they don't give ideas on how it could be changed. The main issue with NOED is that the killer doesn't need skill to use it, he just get free insta downs once the Exit Gates are powered, which is really unfair especially if you're playing against Baby Killers. So here's my idea to make this perk more fair by making it so that on

  • Particularly, what I want to know is what I should be doing with them at loops, particularly Victor. It feels like survivors are untouchable at some loops when controlling Victor, and I should just give up and let them crush Victor. Added note: because this is getting out of hand, and there is little advice on what I’m actually needing help with, How do you loop as Victor? There are many loops

  • Out of all the killers Oni would fit best in Mortal Kombat. He has two great weapons for the game in a Katana and Kanabo. And he's big and powerful. So should Oni be considered for Mortal Kombat?

  • Hex: No One Escapes Death. What if the hex was so "powerful" that it can only be active for so long, say sixty seconds, before reverting back to a dull totem? Maybe a loud audible sound could que to tell the survivors to either find and destroy the hex, or hurry and get out. I, personally, would like to keep NOED in the game instead of deleting it because it can turn a bad game against good

  • This was especially true for me after the toolbox nerf but even before then, I believe that bringing toolboxes to Sabo hooks is better (by better, I mean more fun) than bringing toolboxes to rush gens. Sure you can argue that using a toolbox on a gen is more efficient and allows the match to end quicker but I'm not necessarily there to have quick matches. I want fun games. And to me, there's fe

  • So I’ve noticed that a killer can pick you up and swing out of the pallet range before you are able to drop the pallet. Was this intended? I find it weird how the killer has a button input before the survivor and makes the perk useless after the killer knows you have it equipped

  • Based on everyone's complaints on the forums this seems like the most villainous build I had the means to create. Unfortunately for me I'm still playing solo or with just a +1. So the OOS is kind of useless without a proper SWF squad. The killer doesn't have to know that though. Fun fact though. I'm still absolute garbage. I miss decisive strike like 40% of the time. I can't blind or save a te

  • That's the post, thank you :) DS still has some issues, but other than that it's great :) EDIT: I know it's subject to change, but I believe in them. *Object change is not final, they are testing something but given the such positive reaction I reckon they'd keep it.

  • Here's what I thought about usage of the key not only to open hatch use it to immediately open chest it uses 10 charges (1 second = 1 charge) add the working key only to open chest (10 charges) the broken key will not obviously open the chest the key gives less chance of getting key from the chest (optionally)

  • I'm calling it now. All people around here are throwing out ideas on "how to make DS still good after the changes" adding more stuff to DS. That's exactly what happened in the big DS update last time it got rewored, they removed some stuff and added different stuff and it cause problems to the point where they had to change it again. Wait for the actual perk changes to come out and give us time

  • It is a bad idea. Timer slows down during chase is possible, but it should not be lasting indefinitely. If it lasts indefinitely, toxic survivors will literally run in front of the killer purposely to force a chase. In this case, killer can’t do anything about it. It is total invincibility unless the killer decides to pick him up. Toxic survivors will definitely abuse it, as their best interest

  • https://youtu.be/mdHUOD4GMdw I try and play fair. I also play for fun, so don't care about wins or losses, or what strategies a killer or survivor uses to get there, but I do have 1 rule: if you're gonna be a cocky douche with the teabags or flashlight spam, I'll make sure you die lol.

  • In one survivor match a Plague had NOED, but proceeded to use CP which doesn’t insta down exposed survivors. The criticism isn’t that she used CP, it’s “why use NOED on Plague?!” In another match I happened to be running Kindred, I noticed a Huntress trying to Insidious camp (i’d had otherwise not realised she had Insidious) ”Oh Luv, that doesn’t get rid of the lullaby you poor dear.” What o

  • You were just situationally bested by another "player". Even if overall they are not as skilled at the game, in that moment they got you. Maybe it's your mistakes, perhaps they made a high iq play, or maybe that one perk really helped in the moment, but it all stems from choices. Everyone can be or get salty and upset, but don't blame design when it's a living being calling the shots. If they are
