In my opinion what should happen:
Freddy: make him work to put people into his dream state and make him a regular visible killer when you're not sleeping.
Spirit: idk how to fix that
Noed: leave it as it is. Perhaps give everyone the exposed status when the final gen pops but that would take away the surprise

The hitboxes are absolutely crazy. I have a clip of Bubba hitting me from a window on the second floor while I was halfway through my fall
-
I use vigil and fixated from time to time

Survivor: Nea
What's not to like about her
Killer: Pig
What's not to like about her

You guys are impossible to please

drop the pallets... his power helps to catch up quickly... so just make him stuck in animations... he is the worst killer for a reason.
Dunno, I actually feel sorry for Wraiths & so his counter play is finish the gens before the pallets are?

Even in games like Rocket League where players share the same objective, some get tilted and entitled. Some killers are entitled, some survivors are entitled.

I'll be honest... playing Killer has a massive difficulty spike once you get above rank 16.
Why? Because newbie Survivors don't have fantastic perks and don't know how to use windows and pallets at all, so being a newbie killer is really easy. However, nearly every meta Survivor perk is on 1 of the free Survivors except for DS and it doesn't take a whole lot of time to at least get a basic idea of using pallets and windows.
Meanwhile, pretty much all of the free killers have issues in some way. Also, none of them have particularly excellent teachable perks to go for. The vast majority of decent and approachable killers require shards or money and the same goes for most of the good meta killer perks. So not quite brand new killers are getting hit by a difficulty spike but don't have the tools to deal with it. Pretty sure that leads to a lot of people giving up on Killer after a short while.
This leads to there generally being lots of newbie killers and a decent amount of veterans who have gotten past that difficultly spike, but very few Killer players in the process of fighting their way over that difficulty spike.
There needs to be a training ground of some sort (without finding 4 other people for a private game) cause this is sad for both parties. I play killer 30% of the time and at rank 15, I still regularly 4K but I get lobbies against similarly ranked survivors who are clearly inexperienced.
There is no training ground (except finding 4 others and KYF) so I look up videos and what not and try to practice in public but quite frankly I'm getting outplayed 11 out of 10 times by killers with 5 times my playtime. Having a replay/theater mode to rewatch myself through the killer's perspective woul help tremendously.

Nope, that is about par for the course for the last six months. Once you hit Purple, you get Red Rank Killers a lot. I don't know how or why, but I hear this a LOT. :) I'm a Red Rank Killer and I MOSTLY get all Red Rank squads or Red/Purple mix, or Red who brought along (or got stuck with) a Smurf.
Anything non-red survivors do or don't that separate them from a legit red?

@PerfectlyPink said:
No, just not many people play. You either get brown ranks or red. Hardly any inbetween
The times you play will also have differing results as well
That is depressing to hear

Killers in this thread claiming slugging is a tool (fair enough) and fun for the survivors too (#########?) while complaining about Unbreakable lmao

Not listening is not the same as "not implementing ALL the ideas". Of course they shouldn't implement every ridiculous thought that comes out of people's heads, but they should listen far more than they do, to the reasonable and well thought out suggestions.
Sure, I agree

You're just making an assumption out of thin air without even bothering to explain your reasoning. While I agree that BHVRs business model is definitely catered towards newer (mainly survivor) players, this does not justify neglecting the current state of the game's health by not addressing (or ignoring) balance issues.
There are issues that need to be addressed. The abusiveness of DS+Unbreakable comes to mind.
The thing is, I've seen plenty of complaints about keys, exhaustion perks, NOED, ... basically anything that top players can and will use to their advantage. It's reasonable to assume the vast majority who are dedicated to enough to the game to join this board are playing in red ranks. This place is an echo chamber for people in higher ranks who want every "crutch" out of the game whereas less skilled players do appreciate a second chance in the form of Dead Hard or hatches for a last-ditch effort.

It's a game. Some killers are toxic and some survivors are toxic. If they get in your head, they a break.
-
There are killers I struggle against like Myers and Oni and there is Freddy is who is simply not fun to play against
-
A good portion of the survivors aren't good at chases and hate being tunnelled. People who are confident in chases (and usually paired in SWF) or meme around use OoO cause they know that they'll hit a nerve.
If killers had OoO and can tunnel any player at will (and it will be abused) then you're pushing every survivor out of this game who isn't good

lol it ain't enough any more, not event he 1.5 is enoughf or some people either probably. The next patch it won't be anyways. Just see if they can port the bots from mobile, they don't need to make em for survivors, only for killers and to replace the killers that dc too maybe. That's a lot less work thatw ay, and they would only have to focus the AI on one role and they could fine tune it to the survivor rulebook even for great justice/
I don't understand what you're saying. Is the added BP bonus killers gain with that perk not enough anymore to entice people to play killer?
-
almost every killer plays BBQ & Chilly pretty much
-
It isn't fun playing against Freddy
-
@JHondo Seems like it. The amount of exaggeration or invalidating arguments with perfect-case scenarios that are next to impossible in solo Q in these threads is rather sad.

Facecamping was only possible back when you could only unhook from one direction. If the Killer stood there, it was literally impossible to unhook. This is what facecamping actually means. Nowadays many people use the term to refer to regular camping, though.
I see, thanks for the head up. The term 'face camping' nowadays blends in with regular camping I guess

I´m a Killer main. I think Keys, Object and the reckless stacking of certain perks are completely busted. SWF causes a lot of balance issues. DS has issues, but the debate is overblown.
That being said, I also enjoy Survivor very much, more and more in fact, and I´m very glad that facecamping was removed, Moris got nerfed and that Undying is next on the chopping block.
I´m first and foremost in favor of addressing the most broken stuff in the game to work towards a more balanced experience for everyone.
How is face camping removed exactly? I do agree with your other points tho

On my phone

Playing killer really isn't that hard unless you only define 4K as winning.
-
What this would bring is survivors playing hide and seek for 80/100/120 seconds or up the amount of keys in play I reckon
-
Perhaps we should make Mori kill survivors after a single hook again and have a 2/3/4% chance of killing any nearby survivor in a radius of 32-meters of where the animation takes place.
