Should The Devs consider letting Oni in MK?
Out of all the killers Oni would fit best in Mortal Kombat. He has two great weapons for the game in a Katana and Kanabo. And he's big and powerful. So should Oni be considered for Mortal Kombat?

Why not? I mean, DBD got a lot of licenses from others so maybe they could now give some of theirs away
Why not Huntress? She feels like very different to the current roster of MK. I'd say it'll never happen for 1 simple reason.
If MK are going to spend money on a license then why waste it on character from a game only a few know about? They're better spending it on a bigger name or creating a new one.
Shao Khan can be oni.

Ive actually fantasized about a mk crossover but never considered Oni, but he would be a really good fit actually, i think his aesthetic is complex enough that he would fit in
But if they get Oni what does dbd get? Legendary Scorpion skin for deathslinger is amazing but for an original killer my money is on Goro. Basic attack, punch. Special attack more punches, maybe give him his big ass stomp. Ohhh and the mori, infinite possibilities. For a survivor it has to be Johnny Cage i cant see anyone else and then the map! Its finally time we got a netherworld hell scape in dbd
I'd probably bet on Trapper. He's the mascot and simply having one idea of placing bear traps (and potentially hooks as well) would easily be enough to build a whole moveset around, plus he'd be a decent Jason substitute for MK11. Other characters would have skins if it happened, like a Deathslinger skin for Erron Black and ecetera.
Would it actually happen, though? Essentially zero chance. Especially considering Netherrealm is owned by Warner Bros, which not only has access to more potentially profitable properties (try saying that five times fast) but are also, uh, uncharitable as far as publishers go. One of those situations where games succeed despite their involvement, not because of it.
