The game has become increasingly more and more difficult for high level killer for the obvious reasons (Boons, perk nerfs like Thrill, killer nerfs like Pig and Deathslinger etc) and this is not including maps in which there are more maps that are disadvantage for killer as opposed to the favorable or balanced ones. Just something I noticed. I thought they fixed this like a year ago where the matchmaking would prioritize the highest ranked in the party or in this case the highest MMR? Is it broken again? Mostly just a rant post. How the hell can I see a survivor with lethal pursuer, get there just after the aura reading ends, and can never find the survivor. No scratch marks, no breathing, no nothing. I check every possible hiding spot 3 times. Nothing. I go to another gen, no one there, next gen, no one there, next gen, no one there. Weak? I mean, she's not raw-terrible like a few other killers, but the loss of her 'bird mines' hurt her more than I thought it would. It's entirely possible that I just need to l2p, but a few observations: Her addons seem rather mediocre. Especially the purples and iris - the drawbacks are insane when compared to their benefits. I've been using pentimento with the new scourge perk, lullaby and thrill of the hunt and I had quite a decent sucess with it. Due to totems taking quite a bit extra time to cleanse, survivors at least break 1 hex totem per game rather than booning it. If they don't then they have lullaby on their ass which is pretty strong perk after you get like 3 hooks. Even good survivors start missing skill27 comments 411 views last activity

With 1st of December's update, most Dead by Daylight DLCs are 50% off on Steam. I don't have any DLC but I was thinking of buying 1 or 2 DLCs to maximize my games. I think licenced DLCs are better than non-licenced ones since you can eventually unlock non-licenced ones with purple points in-game. I play killer and survivor equally. Which perks do you use ? There was a thread recently "do you use self care?" which kinda motivated me to stop using the perk, I've tried without it and so far I'm doing good. There are times where I wish I had it but most of the time it's not necessary. I use: adrenaline, dead hard, bond, iron will. Switched self care for adrenaline. It is my understanding, as per the power text, that if you hit someone with a Dire Crow within it's "Arrow" path it will injure them, even without being swarmed correct? If that is true, then I think it's bugged. I just had a game where I hit 3 people on the other side of a wall or pallet, well within the injure path, and all it did was swarm them. Once overcome reaches enough players, through teachables and playtime and the weekend, etc etc. And becomes a meta perk (which it will, we all know it). Nurse will no longer be the best killer in the game. She does not possess the ability to catch up to an Overcome after hit. I wanted to try to get the Artist adept on the first day but by the end of the day, it was not still there. I just thought it was taking a while for the new achievements to be added to consoles like Playstation and Xbox. I’ve been having a blast with playing SWF with friends and expected this patch to be what it was. Just cenobite nerfs and nothing other than a few perks from the artist that attempt to “slow” gens down. I’m done with playing killer 100% this time, after getting turbo games (5 mins before gens we’re powered) I think I’m done with the role and the stress it carries. For context I run this game on medium graphics settings. I've always known how much darker certain maps like the RPD can be on medium settings but on this patch I feel like some other things have gotten way more dim too, especially Freddy. If a killer hooks a survivor and you scream while your gen explodes do not instantly go back to working on it. The killer knows your location and is heading your way with a pop. Don't give them the vallue of the scourge hook and pop So unless you are confident you can finish it before they reach you it's better to leave it regressing3 comments 191 views last activity

I just wanted to bring this thing up that I noticed about the Artist. Typically a killer has a lacklustre base power or very good add-ons, not both. Her add-ons are very very good. Her power is also very excellent. She's got an add-on for exhaustion and one for the hindered effect. The direct comparison for me is clown. Are you going to acknowledge Valve-sided disconnects soon? I'm going to get a disconnect penalty from this for no reason. I am really frustrated babysitting this game's problems. I was winning as a killer and then Steam went offline. I don't need a penalty because of something that wasn't on my end.
