You can not balance game if you have 2 different groups. SWF has much advantages than Solo-q. And this created all DbD problems: You can not buff killers because Solo-q will be worse. You can not nerf SWF because you can not punish people who wanna play with their friends. So best you can do, buff solo survivors and buff killers. Balance game around this. Grind issue did not fix for years. They mentioned something for hacker issue but i have not hope. Balance problems for years. Optimization problems did not fix. Coldwind was last reworked map (9 months ago) and after Coldwind we have not any map rework. I heard they are working for Haddonfield. So what do you think? It's 18 meters. Freaking only 18 meters, and no way to increase it. It's a gun ffs it is super easy to assume that it at LEAST outranges the terror radius. This would be super useful information to not have to comb the wiki for, especially when starting out, so that you dont blast off 7 consecutive impossible shots at someone thats just too far away like I just did. We all know this game is getting balanced around kills which means if a killer gets 4 kills all the time it would mean he is too strong and has to be nerfed. But the thing with checking the kills is that it won’t show you what happened that game, the killer could’ve just been camping everyone or slugging and then he got a 4K out of it. Finally killers get a new strong meta and something who survivors can't do anything about it. How long people here or on other platforms said "Learn to deal with dead hard, ds, borrowed time, etc". Now killers can say the same. It’s annoying the bubba masks are set to be removed, not because they were amazing cosmetics, it was just cool to have a free set of cosmetics that were unlockable through gameplay. This perk stresses me out more then it helps me in game. Shows how disgustingly fast gens can go seeing 2 to 3 tinkerer procs all in quick succession. Unless you're a high mobility killer often times you can't even get there in time. Just wanted to upload an appreciation post since that I haven't seen a single hacker in a few weeks. There was a pretty horrible surge of hackers in the past several months. I was seeing blatant and subtle hackers almost every 5 or so games. It seems like BHVR has stepped up quite a bit. Its not a us vs them type of complain its just some thing i saw with the dev response and logic. They said they did not touch CoH because they want more data but they nerf cenobite after a month. They did that on multiple occasion on killer but not with survivor perk. So, there are some perks that help with gaining bloodpoints. But why don't we have a perk for every category? For killers, we have: Beast of prey (50% Hunting) Thrill of the Hunt (also 50% Hunting) Distressing (100% Deviousness) BBQ (100% Total BP post game) So, we are missing brutality. Imagine a goal keeper (killer) and a striker (survivor) Both are the best at their positions. Let’s give them a free kick from about 16m away. The striker is obviously the very best and will make it hard for the goalkeeper. But if the goalkeeper is better than him he will catch the ball no matter what.
