I was hoping it would be 4x :(
Huh. 1.5x is on the tame side, but still, that's nice. Glad we're seeing these more often.
Happy to see that they're doing this more often
I think the reasoning they've given in the past for it being 1.5x is because it's a week instead of weekend.
Last 1.5x was three weeks long when Covid really first hit in 2020.
Weren't these called "blood hunts"
Am i crazy or did they change the name?
1.5x?
More of a blood-light-jog to be honest.
Bloodhunts are what we called the shorter weekend ones with 2x BP. Bloodrush is what we call the longer ones that last a whole week, but give 1.5x BP.
Blood Rush is 1.5x BP. Blood Hunts are the 2x BP. Blood Feast was 3x BP.
Ah, that makes more sense then. I can dig it.
Aah ok, thought i was misremembering
Thanks for the clarification
I hope this is a sign of more frequent hunts.
Thanks though, it is appreciated. The grind is real...
That's awesome, but I prefer writing an essay that requires 15 pages on Word and making presentations on PowerPoint than playing in the current state of the game.
How cheeky would it be to kindly request a Bloodfeast?
So... Is this the week of the new update, or the week before? Cause lowkey, if the new rift is not up, we ain't play that way, fam.
Prefer, or have to?
Thank you for the heads-up!! Other than browsing this forum, I really don't use any form of social media anymore. These kind of posts are helpful and appreciated.
That's nice, but it's still not going to get me to play the game more.
Is there a reason why those events give so little bonus bloodpoints? I mean, we had tripple bloodpoint weekends years ago, when there weren´t 26 killers and 29 survivors around. Can´t imagine how a new player must feel, when he sees how much bloodpoints he needs to unlock everything.
Wouldn´t it be better to either completely reduce the grind and/or give more bloodpoints during those kind of events?
And I can't play... I ran out of Xbox Gold.... LOL
Right now, prefer. I have to finish them before 15th February.
I am pretty sure you know the answer to that question, Tsulan.
I'm playing since 2018 and I've never seen a Blood Feast, I don't know if I've missed some in my breaks or there haven't been any in years.
1.5x BP instead of 2.0 that is so toxic! 😕
😄
There has been a total of 1 Blood Feast in all of dbd history, and it was right at the very beginning when Legacy was being rewarded.
Various reasons, but one of the main ones is the impact it has on the game. The higher the multiplier, the more people want to farm. We don't particularly mind farming so long as you aren't forcing people who don't want to, but it does get in the way for people who just want to play the game. It's not a huge deal when it's just one weekend, but it can get pretty tiring after an entire week.
As for the grind, we mentioned in our last Q&A that we're working on a new design prestiging. It's still a little ways out so I can't spill any beans on it just yet, but there are things in the works.
You didn't miss any, don't worry. It was a one time thing to see just how far we can push things before things get crazy. (Needless to say, we found that limit.)
Hope people enjoy the blood rush
1.5x points with the current grind is like shooting a squirt gun on the chernobyl N°4 melting nuclear reactor after the accident of April 26 1986.
You hit the nail in the coffin. What on Earth are they thinking...
You should try it again now and compare the results from the other one for science. It'd be a really fun way to celebrate 6 years...
Do not worry, a fix is coming a long time from now, this should suffice in the mean time to fix the problem that gets exponentially worse every time they add content to the game.
Alright, I'll set my timer to 2050. Can't wait for the big patch!
Happy to help. 😁 I know alot of people avoid social media and miss out when information wasn't shared outside of it.
