We're in the middle of a event and you guys decide to disable DC penalties for whatever reason. How is it even worth playing when there's someone dcing every game? Solo players have been asking for Kindred basekit for so long. Basekit BT was a nice add since tunnelling is a cheap “strategy” with little to no counter play after the DS nerf. But, as much as I dislike slugging for how boring it can be, I can see it has its uses and sometimes it’s necessary. Just now I was in a game against a Wesker and a Claudette was hacking. She hooked herself, teleported, and even when the timer ran out the game didn't end and the poor killer had to disconnect. This crap needs to seriously be addressed. I haven't had a single dev mention anything related to the hacking problem. By the stats that just came out, kill rate used to be a 53% before the big patch, and now is at 61%. Survivors only have 39% escape rate right now, I don't even want to know what the % of that is solo q..... I'm already playing solo Q, which at this point has a REALLY low escape rate even with a full loadout. There are perks that are fundamental for me like having Kindred. Yet, you decide to gives a challenge that requires us to ONLY use a killer perk (self care) AND escape with it. My main is currently prestige 21. Not only I've noticed more killers dodging, I've also had people make some not so nice remarks about it. Not only that, but I find myself checking other people's profiles too if they have a really low prestige/no prestige. I usually play crossplay off because I find that people who play cross off are mostly players with more than a thousand hours which makes solo q a bit less miserable. Popular streamers have been dealing with hackers for a while now, so they decided to play cross off to see if they would get rid of those same hackers, but nope. I understand the game is not easy right now for solo players, specially not with the amount of killers that are stacking slowdowns and camping/tunneling in the majority of games, but please stop giving up so early. At the time I'm typing this I have 5737 hours on Steam and I am on the EU servers. I prefer to play crossplay off because even though most killers I face there are nurses, blights and huntress, my team mates are also "sweatier" and I prefer going against good killers while also having a good team. The past 2 days of solo Q have been miserable and I'm pretty sure I'm stuck at low MMR hell right now. I have people suiciding and dcing at 4/5 gens, which gives the killer a free 4k 99% of the time. I had random team mates with 20-50 hours in my lobby when I have more than 5500 hours. I don't understand how the devs want to "shaken up the meta" but all they did was nerf some killer slowdown perks while buffing other ones, so slowdowns will still be meta, while nerfing stealth survivor perks like Iron Will and Spine Chill, and buffing looping basekit for killers (faster breaking pallets, bloodlust buffed, faster recovery from hits). Ok is anyone else having this problem? I thought a Jill in my last match was afk in a locker since I couldnt even see her with kindred, she had no dc symbol either so I assumed she was still in the match. I suicided on hook and on the post game screen it showed she did disconnect. Title. I know they already made the grind smaller but boy is the rift still grindy, specially for a battle pass that you have to buy with real money. Other games have battle pass that you can buy with in game currency by simply playing and are not as grindy as this one. The double rift fragments was a bliss. When playing killer, I mostly main both Pig and Freddy. For me they're both extremely fun to play even though they aren't the strongest. However, when playing survivor, even though I actually like facing Freddy, I HATE facing Pig. It seems like most of them just tunnel you with the trap on your head and crouch near the hook, making her head traps mechanic boring af to face. I've been binge finishing my killer tome challenges so I can finish the rift asap. More than once I have went against people who spam vault just to be annoying. Couldn't a cool down on notifications or something be added to prevent dealing with this? Had to change to cross on and found an instant one. Am I the only one that thinks the "nerf" didnt really solve anything? My problem with iri head was never the fact that she could still stack 4/5 hatchets, it was because even noobs with no aim can just get behind you and insta down you with it. I think if we take steps to reduce harassment, we should go all in. Lets start by talking about the horrid censure system that is in game right now. There are slurs that still bypass it without even needing to type in a odd way, a good example of this is the r-word, that is often used to target people with disabilities.
