The GhostFace exposed effect was okay on him, because it let you know you were being stalked. It serves no point if Myers gets to T3 on the other side of the map and I get the notification and freak out because it could be me that he's stalking... like really... there was no need for that change, it's not QoL. Why is it that every single patch you release you manage to make the game unplayable for a lot of us? I got home from work, tired, thinking “hey! DbD update, yay” I haven’t managed to play a single game in two hours. It either kicks me out or the killer got 800 ms. but my game got stuck in a never ending running animation. What’s funny is that the players that left after I did still showed up in what seemed to be stuck, but not so stuck? So, after a couple of months of not playing that regularly, I finally made it back to red ranks today, and geez... I feel like deranking, because really, the amount of toxicity and lack of sportsmanship you find there is amazing. Survivors won't save you, they would rather go and harrass the killer with their flashlights. What's up with all the "WE NEED DS NERFED" posts again? It seems as if you're never happy with what you're given, you always want more. You didn't want DS to be such an easy free-chance so they gave it a condition and a duration/time limit to be able to pull it off but yet again you are all asking for it to be nerfed even more. So you mentioned the game will be releasing on Switch on Sept 24. Considering how small the Switch community is, are you not concerned about super long waiting times? Who did they hire to translate the perk names? A lot of perks have had their names changed in Spanish to phrases no one ever uses... ever. It was rather neutral before, now perks seem to be named after some slangy Spanish used in some town no one ever visits... I was playing a game versus The Plague, did 4 gens, rescued people a couple of times. Then The Plague found me and vomited on me. I managed to lose her. She got her powerup from the fountain and found me again, the moment she hit me with it I was downed and kicked out of the game. Completely. I played a couple of games as killer last night and there are spots in open maps like MacMillan Estate where you can’t see ANYTHING. It’s both the lightning and the resolution. I just had a game versus Legion. Green ping in the lobby, game was going smooth at the beginning and suddenly a chase starts and lag went crazy. Jake is downed and lag disappears. Every single chase, lag. Together with Meg and Claudette we finished the 4th gen inside the chapel. No lag at all. I jumped thru the open window and Legion saw me in the distance and ran towards me. I have been thinking about a change to survivor items that would make it more “fair” to both sides but it would require an implementation in the game: item crafting. Trials will now accept only items and no add-ons, meaning there will be a single slot now in the equipment selection. If they are going to be patched to the point where all tiers do the same? Say, Hex:Ruin, the regression percentage was useless but the fact that the tier made it more intrusive because it affected more or less survivors was what mattered the most. I love the new JLo survivor! And The Plague, oh geez... it looks awesome! The perks sound interesting but I don’t think they will replace any of the currently most used perks. Infectious Fright could be a good counter to flashlight saves or pallet stuns. Dark Devotion can be OP depending on how long the effect lasts. This is not a post to claim playing killer is easier than playing survivor. This is a post to claim that playing solo survivor can be a horrible experience. When you have a group of solo survivors, you have three different situations: 1) 4 Experienced survivors: could win the game with 4 escapes or at least someone will have escaped by the end. I love the game and I love how you decide to give us events so that the game changes a bit from time to time. It's really very much appreciated. However, I'm a bit concerned about the idea behind the events. This one in particular requires a lot of grinding. I’m on PS4... Music goes up and down and it is so bad and bold it hurts my ears. Fx are super low, you can’t even hear the heartbeats and suddenly it’s right next to you. Someone was hooked and they died and it still showed them on the hook at phase 1. I was repairing a gen with hex: ruin and failed and ruin didn’t go off. If you play the game in a different language, you might have noticed perks are sometimes very poorly translated, changing the whole meaning of the text. I’ve sent emails to support and they said they would look into it but they still read the same. Honestly, all my games are versus rank 1/rank 2 killers. 3 out of 4, facecamp. Let alone tunnel and don’t forget lag switch (it’s usually Bubbas tho). If a killer acknowledges that you are “good”, only because you had him chase you for over 30 seconds, they will facecamp. if they hook you and there are 2 gens left, facecamp. if you are wearing pretty cash shop clothes, facecamp.
