Starts the trial with all traps Still has a "max carry" of 1 (+bags) While carrying more than his "max carry" he cannot pick up traps. Once he has less traps than his max carry he functions as he does now Eases his early game/makes him a bit more deadly in earlier chases.7 comments 61 views last activity

Even in dire situations you look after your friends. Whenever you take a protection hit, the protected survivor gains the endurance status effect for 12/14/16 seconds. If you are put into the dying state while taking a protection hit, the survivor instead gains it until injured or you recover from the dying state. You will automatically recover after 32 seconds and will be broken until put into2 comments 41 views last activity

It's just sad how many survivors seem oblivious to how a killers attack downs you (apart from the whole "lose a health state" bit). Too many also just sit at the gates and expect me to hit you and you'll autoescape cause of the animation. The killer is entirely in control on how you fall when downed (except for trickster using his knives). When you're downed, you fall the opposite way the killer5 comments 231 views last activity

Bear with me here; We all know the entity and the trials and the like, but I've had a thought; what if there is some, for lack of a better word, larger entity? We knew already that the fog does not follow the entity's rules to the letter, and indeed both survivors and killers can manipulate it, whether reading the memories stored within (the observer), alter the very fabric of (the entity's) re7 comments 151 views last activity

If I was to make a survivor oblivious, or myself undetectable, would that make me unable to detect heartbeats at all? Or would I still be able to see them in a 32m radius?19 comments 241 views last activity

When a killer DCs from a match, every survivor has their items returned as if unused. Any chance we could have a killer version of this where if a survivor DCs, the killer can DC within, say, 30s and every person still in the game gets their items returned, both the survivors and the killer?2 comments 81 views last activity

Killer Delayed Capacitor Generators max progress will now be between 100-150% at random and will visually show slowed progress. You have developed an efficient way to get off Hooks . Grants up to 3 extra escape attempts on the Hook. Hook Escape attempts have a 2 / 3 / 4 % increased chance to succeed. If hooked a second time, you will automatically attempt as many escapes as possible before entering second stage. [Maybe?: If successful you will not progress a hook state.] Basically, if you get unhooked and2 comments 71 views last activity

Dead Dawg saloon, a full lobby of solo's. Killer nowhere to be found. No TR, stain, nothing. We eventually figure out he's spawned in the saloon, and is a wraith. Peril status effect After being unhooked, you get 5s (10s maybe?) of this effect, and its timer stops while you are in the dying state or being carried, but is removed if you are grabbed. Lost and Found Upon the trial starting, survivors are separated from their items. The items will spawn on random places throughout the map, and have their aura revealed to their owner for 30 seconds. Survivors cannot see each other's item's auras. I went up against a freddy who looped me around a gen. The looping degraded to a point where he'd kick the gen and I'd immediately tap it in front of him and he'd try to grab me, fail, and miss the swing as well. He'd kick it again and I'd immediately tapped it again. I did it just cause it was wasting a lot more time then him actually chasing me would, and honestly was a lot more fun then vaulti53 comments 391 views last activity

The entity becomes angered whenever a survivor is rescued from the basement. After a survivor is unhooked from the basement, the unhooked survivor is inflicted with deep wound and has 20/15/10 seconds to mend or be inflicted by the dying state. This mend timer trumps all other mend timers. You are not notified of any unhookings from the basement. "It's like a wild animal, it doesn't like when9 comments 71 views last activity

Title. Most of the pigs power is (arguably) meant to come from the traps that the pig can use on survivors. The problem is, because of RNG and how surprisingly easy it is to take a trap off, they are ineffective most of the time. I'm curious what you guys think about letting the pig recover unactivated traps if the survivor frees themself before their timer starts ticking? Felix has most likely clashed with the entity once before being taken. Dunno if my brain is acting up or if its actually pretty hard to understand, but reading the description of Sole Survivor says this: Your Aura cannot be read by the Killer within a maximum range of 20 / 22 / 24 metres for each killed or sacrificed Survivor. Does this mean for every survivor killed, the distance gains 20 / 22 / 24 metres? Eg 1 dead = 24, 2 dead = 48?1 comments 31 views last activity

So we all know the lovable demogorgon, with his unique powers and being probably the second most fun killer to play as and against (first being GF). I was thinking, "Why doesn't the upside down look the same in DBD? And how does the Demo manage to travel so fast in the upside down?" After a bit of time thinking on it I've come up with a way it could possibly be (or part of) an escape route from t4 comments 161 views last activity

Now, if you don't know what a global perk is, it's a perk that any character can get without unlocking teachables (This is not happening, monstrous shrine are examples). It might be a good idea to start releasing a global perk every chapter so that the devs can start introducing somewhat more powerful perks to shake up the meta whilst not being P2W (which they don't want to be branded as). I've seen quite a few posts recently about camping and I'm here to say that camping doesn't exist, at least not the way everyone describes it. Camping (with very few exceptions) is simply a deadlock between killer's and survivors that both sides love to complain about and gave a name. I'm not saying it's not an issue, but it's a lot more than "Killer's camp because they're bad" like everyone trie33 comments 311 views last activity

So I've seen a lot of people ask "How does the demogorgon get blinded? It has no eyes." I myself grew curious too, so I did research. Now, I'm assuming the Demogorgon doesn't "see" but "senses" the survivors using the petals of it's face. The Demogorgon is apparently sensitive to bright light; not as much as it's previous stages (Slug, Pollywog, Frogogorgon, Catogorgon, Demodog) but it's still se3 comments 273 views last activity

Title. I think this should be done because surge is a very good perk on paper, but it's conditions are terrible. Most of the map is a dead spot with this perk since you won't be near generators when you down someone usually. If the regression applies to the map it solves the deadzones and it causes a slowdown that can possibly rival ruin that requires survivor interaction to correct, with genera11 comments 131 views last activity

Basically what nice things do you do to the survivors? For example not tunnelling, not camping for any reason, or not slugging or the like, and what things do survivors do that makes you break the code? Teleportation Freddy can warp to generators, takes a while to cool down, slightly faster with more survivors asleep. Demogorgon can place his portals anywhere, travels to them much quicker, exiting is a lot less confusing and cools down faster. Hex: Focus Your hex dazes survivors, requiring them to focus. When working on generators, cleansing totems, or healing, survivors suffer from an action speed penalty of 10/15/20% and have a 20% reduced skill check chance, and are oblivious while interacting with generators, totems, or healing. Like a perk that triggers during the endgame which is like the killer's version of hope, giving like a 10% speed boost when the last generator is powered. (Last generator, not exit gates powered, so it doesn't trigger in hatch stomps)12 comments 221 views last activity

Idea 1 A Hex rooting its power on hope. You are animated by the power of your Hex Totem when the Survivors are on the verge of escaping. Every time you hook a survivor, gain a token. When the exit gates are powered, if there is a dull totem remaining on the map, this hex is applied to it. If there isn’t, a hex totem will be reconstructed at random, and the survivors will be able to see i11 comments 121 views last activity
