KING STEVE
If there is a king, who is the queen?

If I ever see that. I will die instantly

That would be a perfectly valid way of approaching the scenario. Similar models, but with notable differences in order to cut down on development time but give each item a distinct visual.
Also, my guess is your vote (if this was up to a vote) would be for different models? Yes, even simply using different skins would count.
Yes I would be for different item models.
-
My thoughts are that the weakest item model shou have a big gap in difference to the strongest item but have similarities to weaker item.
for example: broken key looks broken while both dull and skeleton key have many similarities that only people that notices the difference can tell which is which.
another would be: Brown would look dirty and used while the mechanic toolbox look cleanse and unused. The Alex toolbox will look different then the other toolbox, having tool coming out of it.

- Wraith
- Because he was my first killer I played and I loved how he played. I also love his lore and design.
- My advise to playing wraith is
- Position yourself correctly when you're going to uncloak. this will help you getting hits. You will need to play a lot of wraith to consistently do it.
- As wraith you don't disturb crows in cloak. Use it to your advantage to locate survivors, you can also have spies of the shadow to help you.
- You can press the power button while uncloaked to trick the survivors into your favour to get a hit. You can hit you bell once where you're out of there sight to also trick them. You can ring your help twice to trick the them into thinking you are going away which they might make a mistake (this might not work but give it a try it you want to).
-
I didn't think it was possible to play blight on console but they made it work.
Hopefully this is an indication that they are going to improve console experience.
-
I played two game of blight. I got more hits and were able to hit survivor in position where I couldn't before this hotfix which is great.
I might play him more often now.
-
Can you elaborate?
-

I had an idea for awhile now and I want to share it
Temporary invisibility:
Ringing the bell twice and cancelling cloaking would activate it
It would act like going into cloak (with the wooshing audio cue to know e cloak)
It last for three seconds.
For each seconds it transition to invisible to shimmer then back to visibility.
It has a cool down of 30 second or 15 second if successfully hitting the survivor whilst it active.
This will help wraith in chase and could punish the survivors of they don't pay attention to him.
There another change but I don't know if it a good idea are not so I'll put it at the bottom so it doesn't confuse people
Wraith snarl are reduce by 75& whilst footsteps are increase 75% (tell me if this is a good idea or bad)
this was my idea of a secondary power.
The idea was to give wraith some usage outside of cloak and in chase.
it could be use to mind game in short loops.
-
I would like mod to be in the game but it will have to be in a separate game more that isn't affect by the patch (unless it to update the specific game mode then they should make a post to tell the modders about the update without telling when it coming live and would have a system in to tell the modders and the people who uses the mods that the mods haven't been updated needed to be uptated.
-
All seeing blood and coxcomb clapper are fine to me. They aren't as strong as other ultra rare add-ons but aren't weak to be very rare add-ons.
Blink, swift hunt and the hound could change to something else and windstorm could have another affect on them that doesn't impact the game too much of could also change to something else
Blink could delay the transition animations while uncloaking.
Swift hunt could increase the duration of the burst of speed by 0.5/0.10/0.15 seconds
The hound affect could be when getting successful surprise attack you automatically cloak.
Windstorm could have another affect like wraith snarl is quieter, decrease the range of seeing wraith by 4 and increase his movement speed while uncloaking (only slightly) or gain a burst of speed by ringing the bell twice for 0.10/0.15/0.25 (don't know if the changes in windstorm are balance)
Blind warrior white could change to broken for 40 seconds and mud could have white current affect (mangled and haemorrhage)
Shadow dance face t could persist for a small duration (this was someone else suggestion, possibly yords)
Windstorm and Swift hunt changes may not be balance but it would need to be tested. The others maybe more balance then the two I mentioned and better then the current ones (in my opinion)

I don't understand. Is it the global sound cue that is muffled or the noise he makes while coming out of a portal?
Both

How do you use callouts effectively when he's invisible outside 16m? Unless he beelines for a teammate while still right next to another survivor best you'll be able to say is "He left me at ______" or "He's on me at _____".
He can also body block pallets well with his high base cloaked speed. There are some tiles he's going to struggle at, like party bus, but for the most part there's a lot he can do.
True invisibility is outside of 20m not 16m.
-
Revert the removal of respawning hook regardless on hangman trick

He got tweaked too far the other way. He's far too fast, and the cloak/de-cloak time is too short, allowing him to run rings around survivors and down them with next to no delay between cloaked and uncloaked.
His cloaking and uncloaking speed haven't been changed at all and his speed is 150% which is fine.
-
I don't think the map been change balance wise as much and the visual look nice but it too bright to see auras.
Also going inside rancid abattoir main building changes Orange to a white for some reason (it might just be me tho)

Yeah thats totally fair. Good call mentioning the specific addon
I know wraith add-on on the back of my hand since he's add-ons are unique for having set of add-ons (windstorm and Swift hunt for example) and giving the rarity titles (spirit and blood for example) the only group of add-ons that mostly doesn't comply to the set rule are the soots but all soots have the in their name so it could be considered the “the” set

Oh yeah thats the purple one I meant
The way you worded it seem like it windstorm not shadow dance

@IWasLeft2Die said:
I want to try out a super fast build designed to crush pallets and gens fast.
Addons
(Purple that gives tremendous speed boost while cloacked)
Whichever gives the most cloak movement speed
Fired up
Pop
Brutal strength
(Unsure about 4th, maybe bamboozle)
It may not be awesome but I think being able to almost instantly eat pallets, hurt gens, and vault super fast can make his 1v1 very tough as survivor
Shadow dance feels left out
-
It means survivors won't know if demogorgon travelled through his portals.
Or the universal specific roar you hear when he travel through his portal won't occur/happen

There was a bug report I think for it? And i played one game last night on it where no fences spawned lol. I didn't clip it though i didn't think to.
This is the first time in interested to play on haddonfield

He’s good. Not too weak anymore and not too strong in my opinion. Once people start to play as/against him more they’ll start to do better against him, I think people are just used to the old, bully-able Wraith and underestimate the stuff he can do now.
Maybe one or two of his add ons could be looked at but his base kit is in a good place.
I think more then 1 or 2 need to be looked at.
-
He's a lot better now.
I've been only playing him for awhile.
His mindgames aren't the best as an m1 but with his bell, he could get hit where he shouldn't and it also works if you can't the bell as well but this might not work on good survivors.
All In all, he in a good spot for now and if the balance changes where he doesn't need to then that fine but if he does need some changes to better then that also fine.
The changes he would need if it the situations occurred then he would need something that goes with his aggressive nature.
-
I have played on all coldwind farm maps.
Fractured Cowshed and rotten fields is too big to me.
Torment creek gotten a bit smaller.
The Thompson house doesn't seem to change other then the main builing.
Rancid Abattoir seem the same balance wise.
most of the loops in all maps are very safe and a few are mindgameable but it doesn't help.
The aesthetic are good but the balance of the maps aren't great.

Useless perk...you will hardly stunt the killer more than 1-2 times average. A 6-12% won't make a difference...
I might of misread it but at tier 3 you only need to stun the killer twice (3 tokens per stun)
-
I hope in three week when the anniversary stream come. They would talk about console optimization and reassure us they are working on it but I know it might not happen but I will pray for it.

Surv perk: press active button when working on a gen to regress it 25%. Next time you touch another gen this gen will be done 15% and the perk is consumed. This can help with 3 gen strategy, when you’re doing far gens or when you’re working in a gen with another surv
If use with stored power (I perk I made)
I'll think the synergy would be great.

Survivor perk:
Stored power.
You feel power coursing through your veins.
For every great skillchecks gain token up to the maximum of 10.
For every token consumed 2% bonus is added onto the generator.
All great skillchecks have no bonus and bloodpoint for repairing and hitting greats are increase by 100%
-
Great for you.
I'm also trying to p3 level 50 all survivors and killers as well.
nearly done
-
I got a skillcheck that was reversed (both in rotation and the skillcheck itself)
Don't know if it me or they changed it
-
Most are fine but some I really dislike.
Freddy add-ons changes make them worthless to use. I doubt people would ever use them.
Hundreds iri head should be remove it it kept in the state it in and the soldier puttee is the worst ultra rare in the game. No idea why they thought it was a good idea to make it an add-on.
Coldwind farm might be smaller but I just only played two game on it so it hard to tell yet.
Victor changes might still be bad unless we know what movement speed he's at while in the successful cooldown.
Doctor looks nice and the new reverse skillcheck caught me surprised.
The demo changes look nice but I wonder why they didn't decrease the time it takes to open a portal but that just me complaining.
All in all I think the chapter was fine
-
Kinda excited but I'm also worry about coldwind nearly being the same

Favourite: dead dawg saloon (both)
Least favourite: game, haddonfield and blood lodge

It could have directional scratch marks out to chase and have walking have small and spaced out scratch marks would also be good (having walking scratch marks small and spaced out just so it noticeable)
I would want scratch marks to glow or be brighter as part of the game, not on a perk

Ye its also not bad but I personally really wish for a rebuild and destroy mechanic. I had hopes back in the days with the breakable walls but they ended up as a dissapointment.
Very unfortunate.
they could convert them into something like the reverse window and try to make loop with only them.
I really hope they do something about loops since I don't think they have been changing them in the beyond realm.
The maps could be more interesting if they experiment with new loop ideas
-
For the reverse window. I thought of something like that but instead of a breaking animation, the killer would go through while being slowed down. It can reset but it limited
-
This could be a good change but I don't think it should be a terror radius perk because of double calm doctor.
It should have a range requirement or something else that would negatively affect items. Do like keeping it original affect and make it universal while keeping it fair.
-
Self-care or botany knowledge
-
Feng, yui and ace
Nurse, plague and wraith
-
The real question is if they would befriend us?
Mine would be feng
-
Wraith is in a good spot right now.
He not as weak as he once was.
some of His add-ons could be change into something else as some of them aren't good or not needed.

Survivor perk: All Seeing
When you interact with a totem, chest, or generator the next time you get into a range of 6/8/10 meters, the aura of the object is revealed to you. (this is honestly the perk that deja vu shouldve been)
Killer perk: -insert name cuz i cant think of anything-
When hooking a survivor, the generator with the most progress is blocked by the entity for 10/15/20 seconds. The aura of the blocked generator is revealed to you.
Hold ya horse's could be a good name

The changes is good but I don't get why they didn't reduce the time it takes to open the portal. Nothing wrong with the buffs and it might actually help him loads, I'm just wondering.
Or it did and I didn't know about it.
