Funny, when a baby killer comes and makes such a post, everybody shows empathy somehow. Nice double standards we have here :D
Topic: No, the game is in a good state. Sure there are some things that have to be changed, but hatch is definitly fine (actually it got buffed compared to the past situation)
About killers: Well, Deathslinger is a pain in the ass, and Nurse + Spirit are still way to strong, but thats about it, i would not nerf any other killer beside those.

I have about 1,5 k hours in this game and I'm not even close to having all perks for all my survivors/killers. I have some neat builds I want to try, but I can't due to the grind fest going on in the bloodweb. Leveling up a new character is unbearable and feels like a waste of time at this point. With each killer/survivor comes an exponential growth to the grind. I'm aware of the additional perk to the bloodweb from lvl 40, but it's not really cutting it.
@mouse0270 said:
Alright so to break this down:
There are about 207 perks you have to get through the blood web. Assuming you spend your BP on all of the cheapest stuff and are able to get the maximum perks perk bloodweb.
You need to spend about 1.6 million to get to level 50 which at that point you should have about 45 perks, leaving 162 perks to go. Assuming you can also buy all the cheapest items path, you still need to go about 81-90 more bloodwebs to get all perks. Spending between between 4.5 million BP to 5.7 million BP to perk out one person or 7.7 million to 8.9 million to P3 perk out that survivor/killer... Assuming you grind out the most, you can get about 1 million in about 3-5 hours.
So yeah, the grind is real. To be honest the devs really should look into removing perk tiers, because this would drop the total number of perks to acquire from 207 to 69 perks.
Lets say it is 6.5 mill to max out one character, you have to spend (19+1)x6.5 = 130.000.000 Bloodpoints to get for every killer and a survivor all the perks you need. If you need 5 hours for 1 Million, you need 650 hours to reach the goal. Its not that big of a deal if you really focus on bloodpoints (BBQ /WGLF + BP Offering).

I think his harpoon should have a short scoping time and addons should reduce that. Make him 115% for that one.
I like that idea if they add some sort of windup. I dont know if it is neccessary to give him that much of a buff for that, since his terror radius is smaller anyway. If they adjust the terror radius, i would at least try it out on a PTB and see how it works.

Most of this game's counterplay is preactive, not reactive. The entire concept of mindgames is that you try and predict the move of the opponent. Deathslinger is just harder to counterplay because you have no warning when he is about to attack, which means you are constantly forced to try and predict when and where he will shoot. It's just harder, but it's still counterplay. Also, if you drop a pallet early enough, if you play it right, at many loops the Deathslinger won't be able to down you. Of course it's loop dependent.
I've been able to dodge other Deathslingers and I've seen people be able to predict and dodge my shots properly. He is very hard to counterplay, but that's honestly fair seeing how he himself has quite the high skill cap as well. Survivors don't need a reliable counterplay that allows them to consistently counterplay the killer, because people who play killer also want counterplay. Survivors just need a chance to counterplay him, and they certainly have that.
Also, I play on PC. Just had another game where two shots looked like they went right through survivors.
We definine counterplay a bit different i guess ;)
The problem is, that you can not say that you have anything vs deathslinger if you anticipate where and when he is shooting, since his bullet ismore or less instantly hit. He can do flicks and stuff.. i dont think i have to explain you how quickscoping works, just watch some cs go pro videos, you get the idea.
Said that, mainly your counterplay is relying on the killers inability to hit, since in the millisecond he shoots, he hits if he is on you. Even you try to dodge, the deathslinger can react to that dodge, if he has very fast reaction time. He just has to be good and fast enough to react to survivor movement and fire, its a 100% hit.
-
@ad19970 said:
I personally enjoyed my time with and against him up until now. I do feel like there is fair counterplay against him, clever routing and trying to predict when he will shoot, and where he'll aim at. His shots aren't hitscan so you'll always have a chance to avoid his shots, but it's based on you predicting his shots, not necessarily reacting to them.
His map pressure is pretty bad though, but his chase potential is really good which is why he actually seems fairly balanced to me, though I wouldn't mind some tiny buffs. I do think killers with a good balance between map pressure and chase potential is better, because if you just focus on a killers chase potential, it's very likely that the killer will become uncounterable for them to make up for their lack of map pressure. But I personally don't think Deathslinger has that problem. He is really deadly, but he has fair counterplay in my opinion.
CAn we really talk about counterplay when the only thing survivors have is "guessing" where and escpecially when he is shooting? As been said, there is no reacting to his shot but predicting which is in reality just a gamble at best.
For example a situation vs huntress, when she winds up her hatchet. The survivor tries to dodge the shot by for example moving left to right to left to right. Before windup animation he has nothing to fear. Since deathslinger can quickscope and the shot is basicly bulletspeed, you are constantly in that described Huntress scenario.
The only real counterplay you have is getting distance superfast and just keep running and trying to break LOS constantly simply avoiding chase at all (Say goodbye to evader emblem). You can not loop him on any tiles since his shot is more or less an instahit. People who think he can be looped just played versus non optimal deathslingers, thats it.

Really? In my experience it seemed the other way around if anything. I feel like some of my shots go right through survivors, but I haven't yet got hit by any shot that looked like it shouldn't have hit me. The hitboxes in general seem pretty fair on him.
Let me guess, are you playing on PS4 or Xbox? I think it is mainly a pc problem, because of dedicated servers. I get hit and i land hits through walls, trees and gens all the time.

@YaiPa said:
killers might be hypocrites, because they know how the game works and might take their favors over some arguments, while main survivors are just naive, not knowing anything about frustration over an unbalanced game, not being able to do anything in some scenarios and etcetera.
Are you serious right now or was this sarcasm?
-
@LetsPlayTogether said:
Whats more frustrating are the hitdetection and the servers. I got hit through walls, trees, boxes, tires, and even cars and through other survivors, as well as got some "homing" spears, making curves to hit me, where they obviously shouldnt have hit. Also in my experience theres no action that has any effect on struggling: WASD nothing does anything, sometimes not even changing directions. Thats bs. With those 110% hits on windows its even worse. Hes literally unplayable against.
Thats a problem aswell, i get hit through trees and even gens, but even if they fix that, that wont fix the gameplay vs this killer. The most fun in DbD is chase and yet, this is the least effective vs him. The boring stuff (sitting on gens, hiding) is the more effective way to play against him.
He reminds me about the feeling i had with and vs old nurse so much. The only killer that is boring and annoying at the same time.

Use Spine Chill, it gives bigger chance of a Skill Check triggering when the Killer is looking in your direction.
It helped me to get Skill Checks more often.
I know that Spine Chill helps a bit (it is my fav perk) but it should not be neccessary. Autodidact is already a bad perk, should it be really neccessary that i have to use other perks only that this one MIGHT work from time to time?

Legit nobody said Mr Bean or Spock...I feel like someone like Marty would be an exception. But hey not like this community to pretty much turn any post into a negative one.
Nobody said mr bean (but we had spock tho) so far, but they all dont fit with this game. This is just my opinion, i like Marty as a figure trust me, but i would not want him in dead by daylight at all, sorry.
Also where is this negative? From my pov all posts were just constructive feedback to your suggestion, nothing more nothing less. If a suggestion is bad in their mind, why should people not say what they think? Do we have to be positive with everything everyone says?

This aint a horror game anymore, you seen the new chapter? Lol...and like i said in another comment, the survivors don't have to be scary. I wouldn't call Stranger Things more of a horror than BTTF tbh xD. Still feels likes a Sci-Fi Comedy
All the licensed survivors are horror icons. Stranger things is still mystery-horror scifi and it had even some scary moments.
I think it is still a horror game, and i want it to be that way, which is the reason i dont want characters like Marty, Mr Bean and Spock in Dead by Daylight. Dont make this game even more to a clownfiesta as it already might be please :)

I think having someone like Marty McFly in the game would be awesome! Imagine the cosmetics you could get...
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/181/AKB650KW0UHM.png
There's a couple more like the Western one and the other 50s outfit he wears in the first movie.
I tried to come up with a cool concept for his perks:
This is Heavy: Make a Pallet Stun Longer, good Enduring counter...(This is Heavy is his catchphrase so thought it would be a suitable name)
Hoverboard: Leave No Scratch Marks when pressing the activate button. Would be kind of a combination of Dead Hard and Dance With Me. Would be great chemistry with Dead Hard & Iron Will (These are only concepts i guess)
Flux Capacitor: Don't want something to OP for this but maybe see Auras of other survivors who are working on Generators all around the map or something like that? (Came up with that on the spot)...
But yeah, just a Fun idea to talk about! Love to hear your guys opinions!
Marty McFly is super iconic and i absolutly love all the Back to the future movies (got a big wallpaper of him and doc in my gaming room), but he wont fit with the universe. This is still a horror game with characters from that genre, B2tf is Sci-Fi commedy.
So no thank you, sry Marty as much as i love you but you dont belong to DbD.

Ah, that's true. I didnt really think about it that way. But besides swf, I think this would be a great change so you wouldn't have to rely on stinky randoms to play correctly lmao
I definitly like the idea, but i would add that a survivor who is close to the hook (lets say 8-12 meters) gets similar to Prove thyself a notification that the hooked person is running BT.

Probably because instaheals were broken and toolboxes were also too strong. Having literally 20% faster gens at 3/4 of the match was broken.
But yeah moris and keys are still both very OP and should be nerfed anytime soon.
If there is a problem with gen speed (i dont think there actually is a problem but many apparently think so) then there has to be a better solution then removing toolboxes off the game completly but rather have a second objective or change gen times or whatever. This is such a poor approach and nothing more then a concession without having a decent solution.
I have no idea why they have not simply reduced charges to 50% instead of complete mallet method and see where this goes. That would be a decent nerf and toolboxes would still have some value.
This game is so often shifting from one extrem to another.
-
Hag for sure. I dont enjoy hag very much to play as, but since she is so rare, i play her every once in a while so survivors have more variety.

Originally, I was going to go on a rant about ebony mori's, but I want to hear the community and hear what they have to say.
They are a cool feature, but at the current state, Ebony moris are very overpowered. There are many good suggestions how to ballance them a bit, but devs rather delete toolboxes, Instaheals and add breakable walls.
-
@re5_gamer2263 said:
You now repair less of a gen but way faster.
This now makes engineers toolbox the best toolbox in the game for repairing (which is a good thing).
The problem is how fast gens are completed now. While toolboxes don't last long, basic addons like wire spool and scraps make toolboxes a [BAD WORD] to deal with. Combine this with streetwise, which is a very good perk after the medkit and toolbox changes, and genrushing is WAY more stressful than it used to be. But hey, maybe I'm just bad and complaining for nothing. I'm interested to hear both survivor and killer mains' opinions.
Toolboxes are useless now. Bringing a firecracker makes more inpact then the best possible toolbox, only BNPs still have some value. I have no idea what they were thinking tbh, now survivors just sit on trash items. 16-32 charges is nothing, thats probably less then 30% of a gen. And the repairspeed is not that crazy, i can barly feel a difference to old toolboxes.
Personally i dont care, since i never run items anyway, but this is not wise ballancing (simpy removing them at all more or less). IF there is a problem with genspeed, was this a wise decision to remove an item of the game? I dont think so.

But if you bring back the old swf and play off the lowest rank survivor you'll get killers being crushed then. My swf was 4, 5, 9 and 16 and we were facing killers at rank 11 what if instead the killer had been a 17? From my point of view it would have been fun--like when I literally chased this Hag all over the map--don't noob killers ever loo behind them?--I'd get between them and the survivor they were chasing, I'd body block them at the hook, at one point as I got between the killer and the survivor and turned to block their path the Hag literally seemed confused on what to do next. It was very fun...for me...not so sure if the Hag shared my opinion how fun that game was. If you have a rank 4 and 5 survivor that is what a rank 17 killer could look forward to. A few weeks ago I did a killer daily (as I never really play killers). Faced a rank 3 and a rank 4 survivor and they bullied me as bad as I did the Hag...this would be common place if they went back to how it was.
I mean the point is that the killer should be in your example a rank 7, since this is the average rank of your party. It is definitly better then it is now (it would be a rank 4 killer according to the swf change)

Have you played EVE-Online? :O
Seriously now, DBD is really not an easy game for beginners. I admit, i also have a smurf for introducing the game to new friends for the reason to minimise the frustration level. So many of my friends left after a short while because they became sick and tired beeing slaughtered by the "overpowered" killer. It is not fun to get stomped in 9/10 of your first games.
But it is hard to balance around for beginners aswell, the killer simply has an easy time at first, until survivors figure out how to defende themself (and once they stop beeing scared and hiding for minutes when they hear the slightest heartbeat).
My suggestion is to bring back old SWF, so the killer rank is not the rank of the highest ranked survivor but the avarage rank of all 4. This wont fix the problem entirely of course, but it helps a bit where it is needed the most.
-
Currently i am playing a little bit more survivor since i am intruducing the game to some friends but normally it is about 50/50
-
Hillbilly is one of the harder killers to master and he is very strong, but never really op . The only thing i would change are some of his addons. Make tuning guide and engravings ultra rare and Thompson, Primer bulp and Death Engravings purple. Or rework his addons at all.

You are defniitly not the only one, but me for my part, i love playing and versing him.

Better Together is lowkey god-tier in solo queue. Pair it with Prove Thyself and teammates will get drawn to you like a magnet. And even in solo situations the aura reading is basically budget Kindred so you can see if you’re the closest to go for the save or you can commit to the gen. Does wonders for coordination.
It also has a side effect of making sure teammates gets healed and don’t tun around injured because they know where to get heals.
Also, its strongest effect by far is preventing interruption. If your teammate is in a chase, they’ll always kite the Killer away from your generator because they can see its being worked on ahead of time. I’ve literally never had a generator get interrupted with Better Together in my perk build
It is a cool perk, but here is the thing: Doing gens together is not the optimal way. Split up, all 4 survivors on different gens is way more effective. It might become good at late game and it gives some information to your teammates, but calling it an amazing perk is a little bit over the top.
-
Ofc not, the old nurse was absurdly overpowered, even without addons. is this some sort of a bait?
-
I also think that the nurse plays now a little bit bumpy (idk if i can use that word for that context).
But yet, the nurse is still overpowered in the right hands, you can not deny that.
So rather complaining about Nurse nerf, lets figure out a way to actually make her fun and playable for more people.
Her problem is, that she is too hard for most people apparently (low winrate but great potential), how to make her more easy but dont break at the same time?
-
Just ignore the hate of them, they are probably mad they lost vs a newer player. Play the game as you wish and ignore tbaging. I feel ashamed for those people who have the need to do something silly as that.

Oh nice, lets start a religious discussion here lol :D
-
You are already soulbound with DbD, so you may ask the devil to help you out ;)
-
Here are some tips to reach rank 1 super fast and super easy. It took me like... idk 8-10 hours on mainly "trash killers"
- Pop and Corrupt are amazing perks. Use them in combinition.
- SAfe the best for last, Infectious, Discordance, BBQ, Play with your food, Thrilling etc are great perks you wanna use.
- Dont tunnel survivors, if you cant get anything within 10-15 seconds, leave the chase. If you failed to get anything during that time window, you are at a bad spot (and should not have taken the chase anyway) or you did a mistake. Accept that you did a mistake or accept that the survivor has the upper hand at the moment and move on! This is the hardest part you have to learn if you want to become a good killer!
- Said that, getting a pallet or a single hit within a short time periode is value. Sometimes i just take short chase to get this value and then move on because i know it will take too long to get the survivor since he is in a good position.
- Moonwalking has to become second nature. With that i mean, moonwalk EVERY tiny corner, trust me, it helps even aginst very good survivors.
- Learn your pathing! rotations are super important, and learn when and how to rotate.
This is all you need to become a good killer. Practice Practice Practice. If you think you are good, you stoped getting good. Try harder ;)
Kind regards
-
I will when there is a reason to. By the way you are right, not only killers are complaining about every bullshit, survivors are not much better.

LeatherFace: Have only one good perk in my opinion, BBC and Chili, also he have no pink add-ons as hillbily and his power is too weak.
Demise of the faithful: Plague is a lot weak, her power is almost the same of myers but a bit worst, also Her and Jane's perks are a bit weak.
The Saw: One of the weaker killers of the game, Tapp's perks aren't that good.
Curtain Call: Clown, ah the clown, he is the weakest killer of this game, his power is useless, you just trow some fart on survivors, his perks are #########, the only thing good on this Chapter is Kate's perks that are a bit good.
Leatherface is a really cool killer somehow and he has not one but TWO good perks actually ;)
Demise of the faithful: Ahm wooot? Plague has probably the best perks overal. Corrupt and Infectious are amazing killer perks, bot S tier. Jane has head on, one of the most fun perks for survivors. In my opinion one of the best DLCs so far.
Saw: Pig is such a fun and underrated killer, her perks Surveillance and Make your choice are very solid and fun to use. Tap has not the best but interesting and unique perks.

If they dont buff killers the game is over. Survivors just need to learn that actually surviving will be a rarity and take skill.
No, actually killers have to learn that 2K on average is what the devs want for this game, and it is the way the ballance should be.
But you might be right tho, killer mains wont accept balance, they need to have the ez 4K every round or they come here and cry like babys.

Spine chill is a god tier perk from beginner to intermediate, but there does come a point when suddenly that slot becomes more valuable for other things.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1130858#Comment_1130858
Some of the top tier ghostface mains expect and play around spinechill entirely by moon walking or looking far to the side as they approach.
You highly underrate this perk, and it is more off an expert perk then actually for beginners.
Why i think Spine Chill is the best perk in DbD:
- It teaches you out of LOS how the killer is looking around and what his habbits are.
- It is the by far best weapon you have vs Nurse and Spirit, the best Killers in the game. It is also extrmly strong vs Ghostface, Wraith, Myers, Pig etc
- It counters many killer perks such as Discordance, Monitor, Tinkerer, Surveillance etc. The info alone that the killer is running one of these perks is great.
- SC gives you extra distance. Running a killer out of chase is strong and wins you and your team time. There is nothing better then SC for that.
- Its a great Endgame perk, especially when you are the last survivor.
- Mindgaming as a killer is almost impossible at jungle gyms when the survivor is reading this perk perfectly.
- 6% on everything, that is definitly great. 6% also for vaulting.. you can not underrate this value.
- Spine Chills "penalty" is actually a benefit. Getting more skillchecks gives you a better chance to get the extra 2% for a great.
- So many killers dont expect this perk. And when they do, there is no way they can react to it without making concessions.
I could go on and on with this list, SC is so good in any possible way. At some point i might make a Spine Chill tutorial.
Kind regards

Hello,
this is the perfect answer: thank you Queen
"As it was mentioned in the thread by different people, NOED isn't rewarding poor gameplay from Killers:
- Killer has to play the trial with only 3 perks before the doors are activated.
- The perk can be fully deactivated by survivors
- If the killer has no luck in hooking many survivors before the doors are activated, then the survivors should have been able to cleanse totems without feeling pressure, thus, not giving the NOED edge to the killer. It's on them if it activates.
- If survivors allow the killer to get a 4K with NOED in the end game, I would argue that survivors made mistakes during their end game plays or didn't prepare for the potential NOED activation.
Finally, if you don't want to play NOED, it's your prerogative. In my opinion, building a build that is strong in end game isn't rewarding failure, it is using perks for their intended purposes. The purpose of NOED is to give a killer a burst of strength in end game. Since it's effectively strong, survivors have the power to deactivate it, if they focus secondary objectives.
The killer players choosing to play NOED are banking on a burst of strength at the end for the downside of playing with 3 perks the rest of the game and having a chance to have their perk deactivated. It's a high risk, high reward scenario."
Do bones.
;or like i say: DEAL WITH IT !
greetings
Yes, NOED is fine, and so is "genrushing". Are there still survivors that complain about this? If so, you can ignore them, just like everyone can ignore every killer that thinks, genrushing is toxic.

Again, the context for the stats is important.
Red rank killers having 70% kills on Freddy on average isn't useful info if a huge chunk of Freddy's kills were against green, yellow and beige rank players, or against red ranks, mixed in with these newbie ranks. This artificially inflates the kill count, and one bad survivor in a 4v1 who either just sucks or suicides early (which survivors LOVED doing against Freddy and Spirit) can easily lead to a 3K or 4K.
If we had ACTUALLY seen the kill rates of red rank killers versus red rank survivors which was the context the graph tried to give us, I would almost guarantee that the average would be much lower than 70%. Would you disagree with this?
I guess this is not going anywhere?

There's no such thing as baby killers or baby survivors, since rank doesn't matter and almost everyone sucks at this game.
I'm sure you're such a pro that you survive every single rank 20 round but don't just write something that no one asked you about or even has the slightest interest in ok? You just don't get it do you?
The devs. Have said. The stats. Are flawed.
ENTERTAINMENT ONLY.
If they are inaccurate stats, then they are inaccurate stats. Maybe this is just a personal thing and maybe only how I think about it, but I don't believe in statistics being "60% accurate" or whatever or "can be used to get an idea" when they are already stated to be wrong. How do we even measure something like that? To me, if they're wrong, they're wrong, and that's simply the end of it.
The fact you said we have to "ASSUME" from things that are supposed to tell 'allegedly' the facts of 'who, what, when, where, why and how' only puts even more emphasis on my entire point that these stats should not make any decisions on them just like the devs said. If we have to assume, it means we're lacking info and context to make any sort of argument or discussion based on balance. And if we can't even do that, then we cannot claim what's true or what isn't, especially when the symptom of "what" is not the problem, but the problem of "why" is.
We have zero idea on "why" killers may have over 50% kill rate, even if we did know it's true, because the context on why for that what is majorly important to there where and how things should balanced in the first place, and who should get those balance changes.
Lets start at the very beginning, dont go to much into detail please. This might come later if we are on the same page and you wish. Alright..
If freddy for example has 70% Killrate on average, then he has 70% KR on average. Is this correct in your mind? There is no way he can have 60% somehow, when he has 70%, right?
We both agree they have not lied about the stats, right? And we also agree, that the trainee has not messed up, are we?

I've been seeing a lot of people doing this and I figured why not me too?
Well I'm not here to points fingers.
I'm here to put data out on the table. Do with it to your hearts desire.
Now. You'll see I did 163 games and not 100. Why? Simple. I wanted 100 games with all red ranks. The other 63 had at least 1 different color rank.
But because it seems to be the communities main concern, I'm only going to mention the "Meta" perks in this thread.
Note: A few games had survivors running no perks or not all four perk slots.
The result of "Meta" perks used by 652 survivors during 163 games follows:
Dead Hard: 286 (43.8%)
Self Care: 121 (18.5%)
Adrenaline: 253 (38.8%)
Unbreakable: 236 (36.1%)
Borrowed Time: 297 (45.5%)
Sprint Burst: 130 (19.9%)
Balanced Landing: 178 (27.3%)
Decisive Strike: 321 (49.2%)
Head On: 165 (25.3%)
Lithe: 137 (21.0%)
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Thank you.
My questions are:
Can you show us all the data of every single perk and not only meta ones?
Can you show us all the perks, killers were using? EDIT: I just read you played killer. Which perks did you use? :D
How many kills did you get during your 163 games?

What do you mean it's not important? It's VERY ######### important.
The reason THESE statistics are flawed which we KNOW it's flawed because a Japanese BHVR employee told us that the reason the kill rates are so high is that the chart only tooked the killers rank into consideration and did NOT take survivor's ranks into consideration at a time where not only did the SWF changes happen which was causing many beige rank players to go up against red rank killers (which inflates the kill rates massively), but a time where matchmaking also saw fit to consistently throw green and yellow rank survivors against red rank killers (this is still happening even now)
What do you think red rank kill rates will look like when you pit a red rank killer consistently against NEWBIES for the time period the stats were taken and don't care about filtering out these newbie games at all?
Tell you what, how about we take survivor red rank escape rates now, at a time period where I'm consistently escaping 90% of my games because 90% of the time I get put up against a yellow rank killer, and see where that puts us, yes? Doesn't sound like it could backfire to me. Not at all. /s
The stats are flawed. The devs already knew that and said so WHEN they had posted them up in the first place. That's the facts. Stop trying to change the narrative to suit your own political agenda. If the devs say the stats are not accurate, because the stats are not accurate, and evidence shows that the stats are not accurate, and they lack context to give them any form of accuracy whatsoever, and the devs give us the context of how the stats are taken, which how they were taken is not an accurate representation on the game's balance, then more than likely they're probably not accurate.
True, we dont have all the information, but saying they are flawed is just wrong.
Keep in mind, that red rank is 80% killrate, and for sure it takes into consideration that they were also playing against purple. But there is the overall picture, and we could assume so much here.
The only truth is: On average it is WAY above 50% killrate. Killers run into lower rank survivors, survivors ran into lower rank killers. What does it matter? On average, you know, the whole players pool, its ~70%. Blame the matchmaking, but the truth is, it goes both ways. Again sometimes, the killer plays vs lower survivors, and sometimes the survivors are playing vs lower ranked killers. It just evens it out on the long run.

Let us also not forget that survivors were also suiciding (and suiciding en'masse I will add) against both Freddy and Spirit (two of the three killers with the highest kills), who also received nerfs since then as well, let alone just the Ruin nerf.
Ah i see, you are that kind of guy.
Let us not forget killers dcing also all the time. And let us not forget the countless survivor nerfs... It goes either way.
Please.. dont start a discussion like that, i wont bite.

Okay. Lets nerf survivors according to that graph then.
As you said there's no mistake here. Survivors are OP. Because ######### context right?
Devs confirmed that they made a mistake with these stats, so they braught us new ones. Those he is showing are a year old and are flawed.

You tell me to quit making excuses, when you're the one who are posting stats as "factual" that the devs themselves said are for entertainment purposes only, to not read too much into them, and that they do not tell the whole story.
Who's the one making excuses here, again?
Yea they are entertaining, but they still tell a story or how do you want to interpretate them? Its not really important how killers got their kills, maybe its just that everybody is using mori or whatever.. it still shows that killers can get their kills super easy. No room to discuss sry unless devs change the game in a way we are at their 50/50 rate.
Dont get me wrong, if you cant get kills, that really sucks and i feel you, but i must say, many have no problem with 4king every game (including myself). Watch some good youtubers like fungoose and you will eventually get there if you practice. But you dont have to BE MAD BECAUUUSE OF THAT! Its just a game.

THEY ARE NOT FACTS. THE DEVS HAVE ALREADY SAID THAT THOSE STATISTICS DO NOT TELL THE FULL STORY AND ARE FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE USED TO DISCUSS GAME BALANCE.
And if you want to argue that they are totally factual, well, let us not forget the whole "80% survival rate" rate fiasco.
AHHH MY CAPS IS STUCK AAAH (I AM SO ANGRY?)
Sure they are. Since there is no "fiasco" or mistake this time, these are numbers that count, just deal with it. What you make yourself with those numbers is your business nobody cares, but stop making excuses please. THAAAAANK YOU!!!!!! :P

M/K definitly trumps Controller, even it is only a slight advantage. So yes i understand why people on console would not like that.

PC, also EU region, Rank 4.
Thats odd, since we are also almost on the same rank - R1. Maybe we define "forever" a bit different :P
Do you play SWF? I noticed waiting times are a bit longer when you try to play with 3-4 man squad.

Hi! Nope.. hillbilly is fine as he is. Some addons should be super rare, but everything else is okay in my opinion.
