None, but if so, then kindred for survivors and Noed for killers (uh i will get a lot of hate for that)

Freddy is by far the best killer for players that are not that good. He is great even if you are bad at chases since his snares will give you free hits, he is great when you have no map awareness because of teleportation, and he is great in slowing down the game with his addons.
So yes, he is definitly a very strong killer and you dont have to put a lot of learning into him like Nurse, Huntress, Spirit or Billy.

This data isn't accurate, according to this the nurse is the weakest killer by far. That alone should tell you that these statistics arent meant to be taken seriously.
Sure you can take it seriously. It is telling us that nurse is not working very well overall. She is definitly the best killer, i know that, but they have to do something with her that also the bad and unexperienced players can play her.

The reasoning behind this 'silly' idea was the game is more fun from my point of view as a survivor when the killer hits you or appears with 0 warning.
I would guess that the vast majority of people who buy this game new and play as survivor enjoy the 'oh God it's the killer, Please dont see me or I'm dead' type of gameplay which I put up a suggestion as to how to bring this feeling back to people who've played the game for over 50 hours.
To me, I think having a game that would resemble the hypothetical real situation would be perfect. Not the killer with a torch on his head, having to walk like Michael Jackson to 'hopefully' predict where the person is they are trying to hit.
As for killers and survivors dont need buffs. How many survivor mains do you see complaining in these discussions? I see a lot of killer mains suggesting new ways to balance it as they are predominantly the ones struggling to keep up with the new speed of the games.
First of all i am not saying survivors need any buff, but also killer is more then fine at the moment. But some here act the power role is so weak, and i find this a bit laughable.
This idea is silly because it is not doable the slightest without completly breaking the game. Terror Radius and red stain are essential for survivors to stand a chance.
Also the jumpscare effect is getting old super quick. You will get used to that within a week or two and then we are exatly at the same point as we are now. A lot of effort for pretty much nothing. Look at ghostface, myers of hag. First weeks were scary, but after you experienced those killers a few times, they can not shock you anymore. Its the nature of human mind.

the first thing you learn from whatever statistic class is that stats can't be used to jump instantly on the conclusions, rather you should examine the rest (for example, we can see that nurse is the worst killer, which is far from reality).
also, there is no rank distinction at all, so the entire graph is not useful to be discussed in a balancing view.
also, many variables are not said, like SWF, maps, offerings, perks...
the truth, badly taken data that is basically worthless.
also, there is no rank distinction at all, so the entire graph is not useful to be discussed in a balancing view.
Does not matter, since the game has to be ballanced around all ranks. You can not ballance a game only for pros and you can not ballance for beginners. What we got here is the best we can ask for.
also, many variables are not said, like SWF, maps, offerings, perks...
Does not matter aswell. We know at the current state of the game - considering any aspect that the game is in favour of the killer, if the devs want to ballance around 2K 2 escape (which is definitly the right idea by the way).

No, but thanks for trying.

It showcases how laughably bad at the game most survivors are -because, let's not beat around the bush, you have to be reeeeeeeeeeeally bad to go down against a M1 killer with a big terror radius in so little time they can comfortably camp them all game and still get 2 kills.
And yet it happens all the time. And the best part of this: Killers still come and complain they can not get kills even most of the survivors play like they just installed the game :D

I play killer off and on, going between killer and survivor pretty often, and every time I play killer I get a merciless 4k, and I also show TONS of mercy in every match. I really don't understand why so many people find killer to be so difficult. Then again, I play on PS4, and about 95% of all survivors are complete potatoes. But still, even in matches where I get 4 man SWF, and they're all good at looping and hiding, I get a merciless 4k, while also showing mercy. Am I just the best player ever, or is killer really not that hard? I think the latter.
Those who come here are just bad at the game. Statistics proof (yes, its is a proof) that killers get a very good outcome on average. Complainers are either enittled for their 4K all the time, or they are .. as said... just bad at the game.
I win almost every game as a killer, with ######### like bubba or Legion. On rank 1. Soooo hard ... this game ...

Survivors have not one, but two key items that unlock the Hatch. Purple and Red.
Green Mori, while powerful, can only be used once and a survivor team can still operate in the match.
A Purple and Red Key can instantly win a match for -all survivors- ignoring any concept of late game.
Not only that, but the Survivors can guess on a Mori as its presented as an OFFERING. Killers have to guess what that tiny little object in the survivor's hands may be in rarity.
Green may ######### you up in Early Game, but a Hatch will ######### you up regardless of how many kills you have, regardless if the Survivors are doing well or poorly, regardless if you have a late game strategy. Its like getting into a crash at 20 MPH versus getting in a crash when you're zooming down a highway at 80 MPH. Sure, you crash either way, and they're both crashes, but they're not even in the same ballpark in terms of ridiculous damage.
Obviously this does not go for Pink Mori.
Who cares about 1, 2 3 or 20 different versions of a keys? They have the same effect.
Yes, green moris can "only" be used for one survivor, but that is the thing: You only need one survivor to be rip super early and it is GG. No argument.
How can a key win a match instantly? They have to do all the gens, and if you as a killer can not get anybody until then, you deserve the loose.
You can only guess what this is in his hands? What? Trust me, if it looks like a key, it is not a medkit or a flashlight. Also not a toolbox. It is also not nothing. If you really cant see a key in a lobby, your monitor is #########.
Your last argument is same as second one. It does not matter. If you get an early kill with green mori, it is GG. If someone really loose that game, this killer should hope for rank reset so he/she will face survivors that are on the right skilllevel.
And yes, we dont talk about red moris, those are uncompareable overpowered.
Again, lets remove keys and moris. I bet a lot that survivors wont care too much and killers would be super salty about that.

Honestly, I'm a survivor main, and they need to do something about Claudettes. I am so tired of them. Game after game after game, everyone is targeted more because it's impossible to see Claudettes. They're absolute dog ######### at the game when they actually do get found, because they have no skill whatsoever and rely on being invisible.
I just had a game where a Feng failed a skillcheck on the gen we were on, of course the killer came after me, and then I watched one of my dog ######### Claudette teammates do literally nothing while I went into struggle on my first hook, only to save me at the last second, and then throw a pallet to block me from running from the tunneling killer so she could get hatch with the key she brought in. She didn't get touched the entire game.
I cannot wait to stop playing this game when this Tome is done.
Thats a bit rude and you should not generalize. If i play Survivor i play Ash and Claudette most of the time, just because those are the characters i have maxed out and i can perk roulette with :) Not every claudette is sneaking a round, in fact i dont even remember where the crauch button is :P
Topic: How to find them if they sneak. Hm, i dont have a problem with that aswell. I use Nvidia graphic card, and i run brightness and gamma pretty high. Also, there is Nvidia experience, i dont use it since i find it a bit unfair, but it is legal and you can play around with colors and brightness a lot. Last but not least, dont only use your eyes, i find them so often by just listening to footsteps.

This goes towards survivor too btw
This goes from my experience only towards survivors. For some reason i dont have a problem with dedicated servers as a killer as many others here (as they claim). Can someone explain me (i am a pc player btw if that matters) how dedicated servers should affect killers in a negative way? It either works how it should work, or it works in favour of the killer if you or the survivor has bad latency. Check out this:

Hatch Keys completely negate the game.
It lets the survivors bypass their entire main objective.
And while Moris can be pretty unfair, they are NOT at the level of absurdity that keys are. The only really unfair one is the Pink Mori, which can easily be balanced out and is far rarer than keys are.
Moris are not as unfair as keys? What makes you think that way?
I lost many games where i found a key or someone of the other survivors had one, but i never (!) lost a game with a red mori and it is super rare to see a killer on Rank 1 not getting a 4K with red mori. Mori is by far the most unfair and unfun thing in DbD. I also would say, a green one is better then a key. You can break the game 3v1 instantly, and a 3v1 in early game is an autoloss for even the best survivors.
Yet.. i must say that keys are also unfair, but saying that mori is weaker then keys... come on... really?
How about both has to go? Mori and key. As a survivor I would trade keys for moris any day.
-
I swear, this happens to me every single day, usually multible times. Both that dead hard wont work and the bullshit hit at windows.

I use agitation, iron grasp, NOED, and insidious. Actually thinking of replacing iron grasp w/ mad grit.
Anyways, usually ill get at least a 2k with this build. At least 2k is basically guaranteed if i get the first survivor in the basement. It's not even rare that I get 4ks in my games, where 2-3 people get hooked in basement and i get the last guy with NOED.
I use to play killer normally, but ever since ruin got nerfed I get gen rushed even if I have good chases and get chain downs ect. Camping is a lot less stressful and rewarding imo, because you dont worry about how you will be gen rushed regardless of how your chases go. I recommend more people try it! It's also very rewarding if the survivor you camp was previously tea bagging you with a flashlight and becomes toxic in end game chat!
Yea that sounds fair to me, but i have to say you sound a bit buthurt about ruin change here. But if you like to play that style, go for it. Great showcase on how "weak" killers are. They can get 2-4K without doing anything but standing still 95% of the time :D
I have to mention that ruin nerf is completly meaningless if you are a good killer. Corrupt and Pop in combo are way better then old ruin ever was, even if it had lasted the whole game, which was almost never the case. Why beeing sad about a totem that got cleansed within 30 seconds? Again, use corrupt, super simple.

It allows them to do something they shouldn't be able to do and that killers themselves cannot do. It needs to go. But it won't, because survivors would drown the forums in over 8000 threads complaining about it, because while they always tell killers they should "git gud" and "adapt", they are incapable of adapting to new mechanics themselves.
You are right, lets remove red stain. After that, give survivors 115% movement speed and a power. According to your logic, this has to happen, since it is something survivors cannot do. Sorry if that sounds sarcastic, but i am only using your logic.
Serious question: Do you guys even have played this game or are you playing the game at the current state? How can anybody even think of an idea that is as silly as this one, seriously? Next thread will be "remove killers power and all his perks" or "remove all the pallets and windows" or "remove terror radius at all".
Killers dont need a buff. Survivors dont need a buff. And especially not such gamebreaking stuff like this.

Why u think play with your food. I'm not disagreeing it's just the first time I heard some1 say pwyf.
Because it is one of those perks that gives me the most pain as a survivor, since you dont expect it. A good looper knows his timings, knows about bloodlust and distance, this perk can catch you offguard. The combinition with nemesis is really strong, i wonder why so many people wont use it.

It always depends a lot about the killer you play, but here are in my opinion the best ones in general:
- Pop
- Corrupt Intervention
- Thrilling Tremors
- Safe the best for last
- BBQ
- Play with your food
- Monitor and Abuse
- Bamboozle
- Discordance
- A Nurses calling
- Infectious Fright

Want a hard dose of truth? I got red rank because swf and how easily it is to pip as survivor oh just do gens dont get down and save a few people so we just genrush use medkits and flashlights and of course toolboxes. Win win win win. Even if i die i still pip. When i play killer? I cant get even out of purple because of red rank survivors who know how to 360 juke flashlight save and basically abuse anything they can. Thats the truth im a red rank survivor and a purple rank killer so if anything i am more of a survivor main then a killer main. So yes this game is biased towards survivors.
Want a hard does of truth? If you can not even reach rank 1 as a killer, you are just not as good as you think you are. It is true that ranking up as survivor is definitly not as "hard" as for killer, but it really does not matter to much afterall. I have not played any video game ever where it is that easy to reach best rank. Playing killer on red rank is about as hard as playing LoL on Silver level.

I would not mind if killer is getting more BP. Also, i dont really understand why they nerfed killer bloodpoints in firstplace.

what i noticed is, that almost only killer mains are lurking around in this forum. calling for survivor nerfs all the time. they dont need nerfs! i see plenty of killers getting 4k, cause they have skill. just adapt and l2p.
and don't write comments starting with "i'm a survivor main...." cause i know you are not a survivor main.
The reason for that is simple. Most killer mains think ballanced gameplay is a 4K most of the time. In fact they probably get their 4Ks more often then not, but then once in a while they run into a swf team with better players on a bad map for killers aswell and they loose. After loosing the game, they come here and complain about how hard it is to be a killer, not thinking about that the last games were 3K and 4Ks all along.
And then there are those who are just bad. They want it more easy instead of getting better.
Killers are so entitled in this game, is completly ridicilous. Watch someone like Hexy or TrueTalent. All they do is complain how unfair it is, and how strong survivors are, while they get win after win after win. I could accept that, if they were any good, but they are not.

He is not giving up on winning, he just accepted the truth how this game works: All better then 2K is a win, and this is how the game is supposed to be. People like Zubat (great player dont get me wrong, i like him) put the "You have to 4K or you loose" mentallity into people heads, and that is a major problem. Also other people like TrueTalent who think piping is a win while ranking up is clearly not working properly are also not doing the community any good.

In all honesty, I don't find killer stressful. At all. I aim to have fun, and as a killer main, I always do. I figure 2k and 25k+ BP is a win for me, and that's easy to get.
Now, the most fun, I'd have to say Wraith, Spirit, or Trapper. Trapper and Wraith I always play for the meme. And Spirit... Well, she's the easy setting for playing killer. Lol
But really, if you're feeling STRESSED while playing a game, it's your mentality stressing you, not the game. And if playing killer stresses you a lot, and is just to hard...
Well, that's why we have survivor mains. 😉
I wish there would be more killer mains like you, the community would be so much better. The downside would be, that the forum would be dead unfortunatly. Right now, baby killers come here, comeplain instead of relax, getting good and just enjoy the game.

Truthfully, its the attitude of killer mains nowadays.
Having played since release I've seen killer get easier, survivor get harder. FULL STOP.
Infinites gone, vaulting/perk/map/pallet nerfs, bloodlust added, end game timer added, hatch close added. All this has made being killer easier and survivor harder since release.
2 escapes, 2 kills is the devs unit of metric. You don’t have to like that but it’s whats given the survivors all their nerks and all the killers current buffs.
You look at the SB vs. NOED debates that happend at release all those years ago. SB now is mediocre at best where as NOED is still a high tier perk.
Killers now are up around 70% kills due to the trajectory of the game and the devs metric system, unless you feel their metric system is bad, in which case they can undo all the changes I've just mentioned....
It's only been recently that killers have started getting push back from devs because the state of the game is disconnecting survivors who know a game is going to end in a 4k so why bother for 3k BP.
And what do we see? Thread after thread recently of killers whining. People talk about salty survivors alot in this forum but ignore the elephant in the room.
Give this man a medal

Please stop mentioning statistics that you do not understand.
Killrates are not even close to 80%. Those red ranks only mean red ranked killers, so utterly meaningless to try to state something about red ranks when the stats of red ranks mean only red ranked killers. Those can go against green survivors.
Pretty sure that you learn nothing as a noob killer going against experienced survivors because the game does a piss poor job of explaining what actually is happening. Do you believe that people who are noobs in the game are even able to understand what they did wrong ? I doubt it.
The MMR you mentioned is something they claim which nobody will be able to verify. They just take the rank away so nobody will complain anymore about bad match making. Not you nor me are able to see the mmr and you will not see whether it was equally skilled people or whatever.
A red ranked killer might run vs a green ranked killer from time to time, but that is rare. Yet that there is not so much difference shows the other graph. 60 - 65% on average. Since it will even it out on the long run who you are versing, these are the numbers that are correct. So apparently, and no matter how you wanna see it, killers can get kills.. A LOT. And please, dont start now with "how many hooks did they get...", it should be clear that these numbers would be very high aswell on average.
Thats true, you dont learn to much as a noob killer vs god tier survivors, but that would be a very delusional assumption to make that any new player verses the best survivors all the time.
Interesting informations you apparently have about the MMR system or is this just random speculation? Show a link with the information or stop spreading false information.

You clearly don't play the same caliber of survivor that I do. I get rank 1's with between 2500-4500 hours. Walls DO NOT WORK against flashlights, I've been blinded where I can only see wall and my weapon. Not to mention the locker tech, survivor jumps in, killer opens it, gets pushed back, and teammate gets the save.
I covered the other points in my response to bloodynights.
You think that you are just unlucky and you get only pro survivors? I am pretty sure, and you know it probably aswell, that this is more then unlikely. Just an example, i had yesterday a 4man squad, red ranks ofc with a combined playtime of 20.000 hours. (yes, 20 thousend hours!). While most people would either dogde the game i was happy to face such experienced players.
3K with last guy on deathhook by the way. Guess Wraith was 2 powerful for them.
Loosing 10 games out of 10 constantly has nothing to do with killers beeing weak. Keep in mind, killrate is clearly above 50%, on red up to 80%. On top of that, if you really loose all the time, you are probably not in redranks. Unless it is buged again (not for me btw) you should not verse to many red ranked players aswell.
But you are right with one thing: It is pure random what survivors you can skillwise....
Still, if you really hate versing good players, then i might have good news for you: They are working on an improved ranking system, which will probably be like a ELO Ladder. Then you will get survivors that will fit more your skilllevel.
So the best you can hope for (unfortunatly) is that Elo comes fast, but other then that, devs wont ballance around your needs because of obvious reasons.
Good luck with your games :)

The matchmaking won't let you get better. You can't learn if you're constantly getting survivors that are much better than you. There's quite a bit that the devs could do to make the killer experience less stressful.
- Nerf DS. 4 survivors, 2 hook states where it's available, 60 second invulnerability, translates into 8 minutes of safe time for survivors.
- Nerf flashlights. It's ridiculous for the beam to be outside of your FOV and still be able to blind you.
- Add a cooldown to BT.
- Increase gen times, or give better slowdown perks.
I have to disagree, you actually learn the most versus good survivors.
About your perk suggestions.
DS: I agree, it should be nerfed a bit, i would reduce the timer to 25-30 seconds, but IF you down them during that time, you have to eat DS, no matter what comes.
Flashlights dont need nerfs. There are walls. And you can bait it aswell.
I would be fine with a BT cooldown. But honestly, BT is really only strong vs camping + tunneling. If you really have to proxycamp, then go for the unhooker, not the hooked person.
Gentime is fine. Dont take chases that do not favour you, genpatroling and pressure is way more imporant. After 10-15 seconds without getting a hit, you are more or less forced to break a chase, unless you know that the benefit of a down is really big. Also keep in mind that sometimes a short chase with 1 pallet out of the way is big aswell.
-
@Vetrathene said:
Its been brought up slowdown isn't fun for survivors, but for myself and others, gens popping like crazy isn't fun for the killer? When are we going to get a second objective or something to increase the length of the games without increasing the time on generators? Or is it just one sided on who is fun because survivors are the majority and give the devs the most money?
Hello my friend
I have a lot of fun playing killer. But that is mainly because i forgot how it actually feels to get genrushed (usually they die before they finish gens).
I recommand that you kill them aswell. How? By getting better at the game. No joke! ;)
(once upon a time i was like you, then i stepped up my game)
If you think its impossible, then you have to try harder. Dont let anyone here tell you, you can not have fun as a killer.
Same thing for survivor. Survivors dont complain that much, because they normally have a more relaxing game, killer gameplay is more stressful. I think this is the nature of the game. And there is nothing devs can do about this. If they make it even more easy to get kills, so killers have absoluty no stress, the game would be totally broken.
Anyway, there is only one thing to say:
"Practice" - Fatality
(And while you do, relax, its still just a game at the end of the day)

You died the moment you joined the lobby. Well used, hillbilly's power is ridiculously and game breaking strong.
I don't see Deathslinger's power being that strong to justify 110% movement speed. Even Oni is stronger and he's 115%.
The only killers I think justify the 110% speed are Huntress and Spirit (not even hag), but Spirit because it's broken (see this video by OH TOFU). Deathslinger's power is not that strong or broken, I don't think 110% speed is justified.
Of course i know god tier billys, but they all have one thing in common to pull off this crazy curving #########.
Doom Engravings. Thats it. Without that addon, many curves are impossible to do right in time.
Billy is totally fine, its just this one addon that makes him broken on really REALLY good billy players.

He has the same problems as Huntress. He is a 110% speed killer with no mobility in a game where map design is still atrocious. So untill some maps are made smaller and God loops are fixed, he will be on the weaker side.
Writing "problem" and "Huntress" in the same sentence is a little bit absurd. She is totally fine and can be one of the sickest killers in the game... just hard to play thats all, but her potential is insane. Check out umbra and zubat for example. And there are better Huntress players out there then those 2 i have faced aswell.

Think about it. Shred:

-Guaranteed to deal one health state of damage on impact
-Can be used to circumnavigate basic attack rules (AKA Shred the obsession with Save the Best for Last to never lose stacks)
-Breaks pallets and walls on collision
-May or may not suffer a smaller movement speed penalty when channeling Shred, and has a brown addon that lets him move faster than a running Survivor while holding Shred
-Demogorgon can also place portals wherever he likes to teleport around the map
-Demogorgon is also a 115 Killer
Meanwhile, Deathslinger’s harpoon:
-Has a smaller, wonkier hitbox
-Has to reload after every single shot
-Even if you land the shot, you’ll still have to reel them in to hit them, else it was all for nothing
-Can’t pull Survivors back over pallets, making it effectively useless against said pallets
-Deathslinger is also a 110 Killer with no mobility
I’m not saying he’s a BAD Killer; I’m just saying, why would I ever play him over Huntress or Demogorgon right now?
-Has a smaller, wonkier hitbox
Makes it harder to hit, but not weaker
-Has to reload after every single shot
Does not matter when you hit your shots. As Huntress it does, since you HAVE to reload at lockers, you run out of hatchets
-Even if you land the shot, you’ll still have to reel them in to hit them, else it was all for nothing
They still loose a healthstate, reel is another benefit.
-Deathslinger is also a 110 Killer with no mobility
He better should be
What most people totally forget and what makes him really good when you get good with him.
He has no windup time at all!
Thats the big one, and i already see a lot of complain about that in the future.

So latest changes causing a lot of discussions
How many Coordinated Sabo coms Team did you face daily? what if there is this one team who plays this sabo strats with Breakout, Sabo, Breakable? are we okay to punish everyone else over it?
Now let me ask another question, how many tunneling, camping, slugging killer have you faced? why is it Okay to have sabo build being nerfed when you'd rarely face this kind of teams comparing to how many slugging, tunneling and camping killers?
I think these changes will effect a minority of players in the game, I play a sabo build maybe once a month! while you face tons of campers, sluggers and tunnelers every day
These changes are not effective in my opinion and unfair
when ruin was nerfed it was cause 80% of the community are using it, while now you nerfing sabo build + toolboxes that would be used only by 20% maybe!
How many coordianted sabo teams did you face on daily basis?
None. Some try, but they always fail to slugging. Is sabo actually a thing anymore?

OMG with this "Deep Wounds is not a threat" BS.
If you have Deep Wounds you can do exactly 2 things; run or mend. If you run you leave scratch marks, that means it will be harder to stealth the killer or break chase. If you mend, now you have to waste time doing that and you are vulnerable if the killer sees you.
It's meant to waste time and force you to avoid the killer. It's not meant to be lethal or as a means to down survivors.
As for Deathslinger, he has been out LESS THAN A DAY. Maybe play him more before you judge, the fact he can alter survivor movement with his power actually looks pretty strong. I don't disagree that gen speed is too fast but dear God, he is brand ######### new.
I swear too many killer mains around here are too cynical for their own good. It's never "oh look at this cool thing this killer can do, I wonder how to take advantage of that". Instead it's always "this one thing isn't good for this killer they are F tier REEEEEEE".
Thanks for safing me time for writing the exact same thing.
Calm down, people.. most of you have not even played him and if so... proabably just a few games. He is probably a hard killer to master, but i see a lot of potential. Dont always judge so quick.

It's kinda better true, but there are still problems that need addressing. Thanks for posting about your opinion:3
Yes there are some problems, but 100% not that killers are underpowered or even weak. A few might be a little weaker then others, but even those are strong enough that i considere them ballanced (Clown, Legion, Bubba for example). Or am i really a god gifted killer player that somehow can pull off 9 out of 10 games a 4K? I dont think so.. It is more that nobody wants to adapt his playstyle to the given situation and everybody blames the game for his falure. And devs have to do something since they can not expect that those babys will learn how to actually be good at a game they apparently want to be good (otherwise they would not complain).
It is also not a problem of DbD only, it is a problem about this time we live in. I am around for 25 years now playing games in my freetime when i find time and i must say that the way people deal with problems to their gameplay has totally changed. In the past, they tried to get good, now it is only the fault of everyone and everything else. And i can not stand this mentalitly anymore tbh.
Buff killers even more, i dont mind, i love playing killer aswell and it will only make it more easy to stomp, but please people, dont be so delusional and say that it is a problem of the game or the community when many of you fail. Keep in mind, that good players can pull it off, all i say 170 4Ks in a row... with a by many considered a bad killer... But instead of trying to learn from these people, you guys come here and act like it is impossible :O
By the way, the real problems of the game are: Hitboxes and Servers, To easy to rank up, especially as surivors, gamebreaking stuff like red moris or absurd addons or items like iri head or keys.
The rest is more or less fine. The game is in great shape.

Dbd is in a weird state right now, with the current meta. Noed is a must for certain killers, Freddy/nurse/spirit/Billy are the only ones that stand a chance against good survivors, swf are on their peak now that ruin got ruined, half the community is still furious with the devs ECT. This is one of the lowest points in the dbd history. I genuinely believe that playing killer, even in green ranks, is the most stressful thing in dbd, at least imo.
How about you? Do you agree? Let me know down below.
My god, another one...
Wanna know how i feel about this?
Yes, DBD is in a weird state right now.
Killers have 70%+ Killrate and they complain. Killers get insta heals nerfed, and keep their moris... but they complain. Recent maps are all killer sided, but they complain. Killers might be able to break walls (LOL!) but hey, they already complain!
Why do they complain?
Because Ruin is chanced, a perk that was trash anyway (hey remember, it only lasted for 30 seconds...)
Because Nurse is nurfed, a killer that was totally broken and is STILL way to powerful.
I get it, killer is stressful, i dont deny that. But killer is defintily not the weaker side.

Yeah just like how survivors needed ruin to be nerfed or for new killers to get nerfed to Oblivion. It's not like gen times and God loops have been a problem for a long time. Or maybe you think survivors need more second chance perks and NOED needs to be nerfed. People need to chill. Everyone is bitching before anyone can even test. Is that hard to wait 1 day before you complain and actually test the new mechanics before chatting on them?
No, you dont get it, i dont need any second chance perks and noed nerfed or anything.
I am just very tired that this game is slowly but surly getting more and more ballanced for those baby killers that are simly bad at the game. You know, those people that come here and complain about ruin or nurse changes. If someone needs ruin (and also noed) or the old nurse to get kills, sorry, then this person is simply a weak killer that has no idea how to play his role.
And still, i can understand devs, because they kinda have to please those new / bad players, since they are definitly the majority.
-
I am SO hyped about this! Breakable walls. finally!! Now i can get my constant 4Ks in an average of 5 minutes instead of 6! Devs, we needed that so bad, since 60-80% killrate is clearly not enough. Thank you <3
No but seriously, i dont blame you devs and i understand that you had to do something.. those killers here are just whining and beging for buffs constantly instead of steping up their poor game. I also know, it is a casual game for players who dont want to make any effort at all and the killer is the "power role". But do you really have to mess with the only defense (loops) survivors have?
I guess i will become fully killer main aswell, at least i might bump the avarage killrate on your statistics even higher, since.. you read it everywhere here... most cant get kills, hooks and are just poor victoms of ruin change (which lasted 20 seconds in the past).

Dbd was never meant to be a professional game. Also, they explained why dbd is different from other games. In dbd there is always someone running away from another while in the other games the players go towards each other.
The same happens on the other games when someone is running away from another person. They said they are testing and trying to implement a movement prediction mechanic to minorize that gap between pings.
Does not really matter if they wanted it to become a professional game or not, but it should have some standards. It does not matter aswell if someone is running away or not, we are still dealing with hitboxes and latency here, all excuses. P2P was perfectly fine, yes you had a lag switcher every once in a while, but compared to dedicated servers, the old system was amazing.

You really need to see the last dev stream. This just shows how people in the forums generate ideas without the tiniest research.
I saw the whole thing. The example at the killer shack was their excuse and explantion for the BS hits, but in reallity this was just a wonderful showcase that servers and their whole system is just a total mess.
EDIT: If stuff like this would be the case in games like CS GO, the Pro scene would be dead instantly. Just unplayable.

I love stranger things, great series and i could not wait to see the lab. And then i saw it... and since then i dont wanna be there every again.
Everywhere totally unsafe pallets, almost no windows, strange layout and last but definitly not least: It is indoor with mainly small rooms. There is nothing i like about this map.

I'm done. BHVR. Bring back PtP
Hello
Dont come here and expect any sympathy for those bullshit hits. This is entitled killer world, they dont care. They are way to butthurt because for ruin nerf.
Topic: This happens all the time to me aswell. When you are good at looping you suffer the most, since you know the normal timing and you know this should not be a hit. Dedicated servers are a total mess, everyone knows it, but hardly anybody would admit it, since ... again... entitled killer main world here.

Most matches I've come across, my own survivor teammates super toxic to the killer, who didn't do anything wrong in my eyes. This one trapper, he was doing his killer thing. At the end of the game suffered teabagging and plenty of abuse in game chat. Why? All because he used Franklin's.. and because he used Franklin's, they lost their purple med-kit and purple toolboxes (maybe SWF?).. and they decided his mother should get ill.
Quite disturbing. Sure "it's the internet" or "don't be a snowflake", that's not an excuse, if you think it is, then you're part of the problem. It's pretty sad. I try my best to be nice to everyone, killer and survivor alike. But even I sometimes fall for killers or toxic teammates winding me up. If only everyone actually actively tried to be 'better'.
I'm expecting this post to get responses just as negative and miserable as the game chat lol. But who knows, maybe there are DBD players out there that agree with me. Anyway, just thought I'd share my thoughts. Feel free to ignore.
Most matches when i play survivor, the Killer is super toxic to the survivor, who didn't do anything wrong in my eyes. These bunch of survivors, they were just doing gens and their looping thing. At the end of the game, they suffered from headshaking and plenty of abuse in game chat. Why? All because they did generators and used their perks properly.. and because they did, they lost their live to a toxic, tunneling, facecamping killer.. and he decided they are just a bunch of (insert any bad word you wish) and they should rot in hell.
Trust me good sir, it is as bad, if not worse for survivors. Mori spamming, headshaking, extremly toxic chat abuse, tunneling and camping, this is pretty standard when you play surivivor.
