Never going to happen though due to the ongoing litigation between the original writer of F13 (where Jason didn't even appear) and the current copyright holder which sucked the game F13 into this whole mess and they can't even change one blade of grass on the game--no more new content, no more new counselors (Victoria was the last), no updates to Jason's cosmetics...nothing. All they are allowed to do is fix bugs which is why the game is basically dead. If Jason had ever been added to DBD it would have had to remove him.

I'm enjoying him while survivors are still trying to figure out how to counter him. Played a few games as survivor and it was pretty easy to dodge his harpoons. Give him a few weeks, people will get good with him, and people who can't won't and will stop playing him, similarly to Nurse and Huntress.
I predict in a few weeks you'll hardly ever see him like Oni and Demogorgon. And I almost never see the nurse and when I do it is usually an easy game.

The game has triple the amount of Caucasians than any ethnic group but we have yet to see middle eastern survivor.
The new survivor is from Lebanon (though she now lives in Brooklyn) and to be accurate people from the Middle East are technically Caucasians.

If you can't find them then it is your own fault. You're telling me you can't find at least one of three people? Well that just means you're bad. What's the phrase...oh yeah...."git gud."
And to be precise it is supposed to be "Toxicity Salt" since Toxicnacl and thus Toxic Salt was already taken...not toxic city of salt...but hey that's not bad either really.

Tunneling seems to be a huge issue for the survivor side. When I play survivor get tunneled sometimes but I don’t complain because I bring ds into almost all of my solo q game. But the killer has a good reason to tunnel. I had a game where all the survivors spread out in gens and by the time I got my first down 3 gens popped, not saying it took me 80 seconds to down but rather to find and down. I got the survivor and hooked them, right when I stepped away they were unhooked without bt I downed the survivor and hooked them again I stepped away and it happened again. Turns out eliminating one survivor makes it so much easier to cope with the time crunch. I easily 4ked with 2 gens up. Did I want to tunnel ? No/yes I could care less but I could imagine it wasn’t that fun for the person who had no ds and kept getting farmed without bt. So, how could we fix tunneling? Well I think killers shouldn’t be punished for tunneling but instead they need a reason to not tunnel, and please don’t say “ sUrviVors hAve dS “ I have still been tunneled as survivor after using ds, and while playing killer I’ll gladly eat the ds if your on death hook. I don’t think tunneling needs to have a deteruent, but instead killers shouldn’t need a reason to tunnel.
Had a game with a camping/tunneling Ghostface. Unhooked someone with BT, tried to take a hit for the unhooked but the low skilled killer wouldn't even try to hit me. He tunneled the person into the ground. He camped/tunneled three of the survivors into the ground. I went into hiding..waited for him to find the hatch which seems took forever...a good ten minutes...he finally found it, I opened the gate and then left...well after I tbagged him at the gate anyway and then dm'ed him on how impressive his skills in DBD were. Think I was able to punish him to a good degree for his tunneling...at least there were ten minutes where he couldn't tunnel some other poor souls.

There is no bias to be found here.
SWF is game breaking, giving you advantages the gameplay and balance doesn't account for. It is toxic, disruptive and its funny how you see yourself as some victim in all of this when u play with this toxic advantage.
"The killer told everyone he 4k my SWF even with all our advantage with comms! i couldn't stand for that!"

For peaceful communities like on PS4 and PC, sure, but not on Xbox. Xbox community is a cesspool of toxicity.
If the killer can hear the survivors? Oh that will be fun..."hey you camping slug go run in front of a car" and sure it would be far worse than that actually just an example of what they could expect to hear.

Ok. So you agree. It happens and you would do it yourself.
Great, now... do you actually have any actual points against giving a time limit to the matches?
The point is you don't need a time limit. If it takes you all day to find the hatch to start the EGC then that is on you. I thought killers were all butt hurt because the games were too fast, now you want a timer to artificially end the games after some arbitrary time limit? If some group of three survivors three gen'ed themselves and decided to stop doing gens...well you can start to chase them right? You can actually down them...shocking I know right?...don't cry for some arbitrary time limit because you can't do your job which is to find and kill survivors. I shouldn't be punished because the killer was too incompetent (like my camping Ghostface) to find the hatch in a reasonable amount of time or find me even when he had perks to do exactly that. You have the tools to end the game in a reasonable amount of time you don't need a crutch to help you...you have enough of those as it is.

Horrible just horrible idea, 40 meters is for starters is a huge area of not being able to be sacrificed so having a killer have to manage to not be within 40 meters would be terrible on some maps, for example The Game, survivors would be able to stay on hook for so long, also camping is a viable tactic, hmm I wonder what a stealth killer can use their stealth ability for? Maybe ambushing survivors at the hook after a save? Camping is normally a killers last resort when all gens are done, not uncommon for a killer to camp at endgame, I mean they aren’t gonna just walk away to a corner of the map and let the unhook happen.
16 meters which is the point you start getting losing emblem points and I'd be 100% fine with it...but I wouldn't stop the sacrifice timer I'd start wiping away BP until we get to zero so if you want to camp and end up with BP like the game never happened....go ahead.

Considering swf is a thing, likely.
I myself had a game like that this last week. They 3 gen'd thrmselves in ormond, and I spent what felt like half an hour walking back and forth on those gens with no progress being done. And one of the gens regressed from 70-80% to nothing.
I had to go around the entire map to try and find someone, opening every locker I saw. I found hatch doing this, and no one was around it. And would go back to the gens to see that nothing had changed.
Eventually I managed to find a claudette when she finally decided to work on a gen. Hooked her, she died. I went to hatch and camped it until the last survivor found it and I closed it on her face.
This game was obnoxious and there was no way the survivors would have won it at that point. But obviously they wanted to go full immerse hoping I find the other one first so they could live...
The claudette wasn't even on death hook, she just gave up after a while because the nea was probably hiding until she died.
So much fun /s
If there is more than say a gen or two to do and we are down to two survivors--me and one other--and yes I am going into hide and seek mode and I won't go near a gen. If the other gets hooked I will at least think about trying for the save but if it looks like he is staying close to the hook and then I'll wait for them to die and either go for the hatch or go hide near the gate for the 50/50 gate deal. If I get hooked I'll die so the other survivor can get the hatch...if I get slugged...depends how likely it is I will lose a pip if I hang around...if I am going to lose a pip either way I'm giving the hatch.

The reason they were removed was the high ping and there were other issues too...I don't mind if they never come back.

SWF with comms, (skype, discord) is top tier toxicity yes.
It's not but okay and on Xbox you don't need either Skype or Discord. It gives you an advantage over a solo, but can tell you from experience a good killer can still smoke you just as you'll smoke a bad killer, but then again I smoke bad killers without no help from comms. Faced this doctor as my rank 14, rank 20, no perk Doctor with 8 hours in game. She dc'ed when I popped the last gen. Don't think I laid eyes on her the entire match.

The game can only end if the survivor screws up or the killer has a good tracking perk( or gets lucky).
It's incredibly easy to stealth around doing nothing without getting found.
So yes, you can take the game hostage. (I hope I don't have to explain how you do it as killer)
And if you decide to hide before all gens get done? What do you want the killer to do? He can't close the hatch, he can't open the gates, he can't find you without getting lucky or a tracking perk.
Stop defending taking the game hostage.
If there is only one survivor he can't take the game hostage. The killer can find the hatch and the EGC begins and the survivor then must open the gate and leave or he'll be killed by the entity. Now true two people could in theory keep the game tied up forever, but how likely is that...I might have the patience to hang out at the gate for 10 minutes, I bet two people won't. You may have had a point pre-EGC, you don't now. So if there is just me and two gens left I should do gens? What sense does that make? Find the hatch? I like my gate stalking odds better.

SWF is scummy (in most cases) and generally means you are a boosted no skill scrub tbh.
Doesn't matter what OP say or do at this point, playing SWF is top tier toxicity and he has no leg to stand on here.
Plays swf (I am a red rank) with another red and a green and a yellow. Most SWfs are 2-men, very few are 4-men and even so we rarely all get out and been plenty of times we have all died. We aren't Seal Team 6...most swfs aren't either you give them far too much credit how good they are.
I play on my smurf (rank 14) with a rank 20 as a swf...no comms...and he always dies as he has like 20 hours in game compared to my 2000+ so is that top tier toxicity? Of course not. I'd wish I was on some Seal Team Six team where I could bully every killer until he cried....the reality is much different.

It is a breath of fresh air to know there are others like me. I just have to contain myself and ignore and block them when my son plays.
I rarely dm a killer if I win and if I do anything outside of the rare times I might give some advice I might say something like Alpha Mike Foxtrot after...but that's just a bit of Richard Sherman-like banter. Only time I go full toxic on a killer if he plays scummy...like taunting...say downing me and then dropping me right at the hatch and then closing it in my face or hard camping me the whole game....yeah then I am probably going to go off on him after, I am probably going to get reported and probably going to get com banned....again. But if he plays straight I'm not going to go toxic on him even if I lose...I just do that to the jerks and from my own perspective they kinda deserve my venom.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1152069#Comment_1152069
I never said this only happens when someone takes the game hostage. I said when this happens the match becomes boring as all hell and there's no reason for it to go on.
When the survivors aren't making any progress towards their goal of escaping for too long, it's classified as taking the game hostage.
There's absolutely nothing that justifies a 45 min game.
If the game can end you can't take the game hostage. Don't want the game to last 45 minutes then find me or find the hatch or if all 5 gens are done open the gate yourself.

No...typically they get dms when they do something highly scummy and I give them my opinion on that and Xbox at times has issues with that I suppose.

Yep...similar to what happened to me. Unfortunately my son saw these messages and of course I had to explain. I did change the notifications to friends only, but that means voice chat is for friends only too, so when I play my games that require communication, I have to remember to turn that back on. Xbox needs to separate messaging and voice chat. It would also be nice to know the person I'm reporting is getting the ban.
You will know if it is a DM. If I send something or something gets sent to me and it is reported and Xbox agrees is violated their standards it will be deleted and you'll see "This Message has Been Deleted" it is usually almost instant after the report and typically the sender will be com banned for about 24 hours...usually like 28 or so for some reason....like the report is made at 3:59 pm and you get banned until 8:47 pm the next day. The end of the bans seem to have really odd times so it is obviously not done by a human but a machine and typically the ban ends a few hours shy of the ban expiration time...again from my vast experience.

I guess I will never understand this, but why do some players feel compelled to DM players on Xbox Live to trash talk and say "get good" or "EASY DUBBBB"? I mean, I get trash talking, but do you literally feel better about yourself taking the time to message someone? Why can't you just say gg and move on to the next match? I seriously doubt people that do this win every single match they play, so why would you tell someone else to "get good" if you clearly can't win every match?
I just don't get it. Plus the Xbox ban system is so shotty. If someone constantly blows up my DM with childish messages, I ask them to stop and not be so toxic and then I get banned. Go figure. I sure hope they are getting banned for harassment especially after I ask them to stop.
I guess I'm not a kid/teenager/adolescent/immature anymore and I'll just chalk it up to that. I just like to play the game. I don't earn money from this. I can care less about losing, I just don't like messages coming in from idiots who have no clue who they are talking to on the other end of the screen. I can honestly create a book of all the messages I get on a daily basis. It it doesn't matter if you win or lose. It's just annoying.
Mostly you get banned for 24 hours...at best 14 days. I have lots and lots of experience with Xbox comm bans ;)
-
Camping is scummy (in most cases) and generally means you are a boosted no skill scrub (again in most cases). I think that editing an image to basically lie about results is sad and what some would perhaps argue that person has some sort of mental defect...really? the person has such low self-esteem they have to edit a results page to show everyone how "good" they are? And then get all triggered when they got busted. However, I doubt such acts are actionable by Xbox and certainly not by DBD, but you don't think it a bit much to message someone gg ez when they won, they had to resort to some pretty low skill tactics to kill anyone and then edited the result page to falsify the results. Okay then...you do you I guess.

We all played this game ( at least I hope so :p).
We all had that match where nothing was getting done and you really wish it would just end. On both sides.
So I got an idea to end these, add a time limit to the match.
This should solve all issues with "X player(s) took the match hostage and I had to dc".
And even bugs, with a time limit the match must end no matter what, so you can just brute force the end.
Pretty simple on the lore side, the entity gets bored if it takes too long and just ends the trial to start a new one.
And what is the time? Simple. 20 minutes.
That is more than enough for probably 99% of matches where progress is actually being made.
I wanna post this on feedbacks and suggestions aswell, but first I wanna see what people think about it and get a more "popular approved" version of it.
You can't take the game hostage. Had a camping Ghostface a few days ago...he camped to death three of us. I made my way to the gate because no reason to try for an unhook as he would be camping and let a person playing a pretty scummy play style get a 4K. Time went by...he passed me at least twice...not finding me as I am pretty good at staying in hiding...lots of practice when you could actually take the game hostage...think my record stands at about 45 minutes (I was eventually found and killed that game btw)...he sent me a message at about the 8 minute mark asking me to stop hiding...nope...not on your life...he finally closed the hatch, I opened the gate, I waited form him to show up which he did a minute later...I tbagged him (as he deserved it) and I left and the game ended. He could have easily ended it sooner...find me (and he had whispers too to no avail) or find the hatch...he decided to take his time so that is on him. If I am the last one left and don't have left behind or a map that can track the hatch I am going to find the gate and hide near it and then bounce from hiding spot to hiding spot nearby until the hatch is closed and I can try my 50/50 gamble and if it takes you an hour to find me or the hatch...well again that's on you.
From my perspective it was a very entertaining game and an adding bonus I am sure it annoyed the heck out of him...win win.

I suggest running NOED on him, punish survivors for ignoring totems.
I run inner strength and detective's and I go out of my way to wipe every totem off the map...yet I'll do like four of them and NOED still activates...three people can't do 1 totem? But some of them are like just crazy placement wise. One was inside a bag making it invisible on three sides and the only side you could see it was facing a wall without Detective's it would have literally never been found. I have also seen them inside a bush and one in a little alcove shielded from view by two small walls behind another wall...without some perk or something to alert you to their location it can be impossible to find them and the other times they are just out in the open like found two of them in the basement room at Badham.
-
I don't like any indoor map but Hawkins is the absolute worse.
-
Nurse with an honorable mention to Demogorgon. Most people who play nurse now can't really play her very well and you can run her around like crazy...massive points await typically.
-
A couple of points...first "Apparently there's no counter to a mori? Mori's can only be used if the killer has hooked you once already (i.e. chased, injured, downed, transported to a hook, and then found and downed you again after you've been rescued). Solution is, don't get downed! RUN!! And hide! It's not a free kill for the killer, at best all it does is saves them one hook (because the mori would only take the place of the 2nd or 3rd hook anyway)." and then "You're not supposed to be able to prevent the killer hitting you, or downing you, or hooking you, etc. You don't have to be able to counter everything the killer does because that would make YOU the power-role instead of the killer, which itself is imbalanced."
Don't these two comments contradict each other...one the one hand you say we aren't supposed not to get downed and hooked and then you say we can counter moris by not getting hooked and as you might know there is a mori that doesn't require you to be hooked at all.
"No counter to face-camping? Do the gens... do your objective. Punish the killer by bringing the game to conclusion. You don't ALL have to make it out." Cold comfort to the person who gets camped and loses PIPs and BP and deranks….shocking as it might be some do care about rank...because someone with pretty low skills decided to camp you until you died from the very start.
I faced a camper last night...he camped everyone he hooked (and as I unhooked one person he wasn't even very good at doing that), but he tunneled the poor guy right into the ground. We get 3 gens done. I let the third guy get camped to death as no reason to reward a low skill scrub with a 4k and went into hiding near the gate...after about ten minutes he must have gotten bored and asked me to stop hiding...not on your life...not sure what he was doing for the ten minutes but finally he decided to find the hatch and close it. I opened the gate, I went inside, I tbagged him after he finally arrived and I left.
It was an epic game and making him do whatever he was doing for ten minutes whether it was looking for me (he did come near me twice and had whispers even to no avail for him) or trying to find the hatch it was sweet justice for his rank camping...it was a highly enjoyable experience...for him maybe not so much.

I mean the point is that the killer should be in your example a rank 7, since this is the average rank of your party. It is definitly better then it is now (it would be a rank 4 killer according to the swf change)
I didn't see any killer over rank 10. My bet is not enough high rank killers to match with us so we get lower ranked killers...just my guess.

On Xbox so doesn't matter but how about the fact I had unhooked a bunch of people, did at least two gens, got chased and was inside the exit gate when boom loading screen--lost my BP, lost my item, lost a PIP and if it was on say PC I'd have a DC ban as well and would have probably double pipped as well. Or how about the game where I spawn into the game and I am being carried to the hook by the killer? Or the time the lag was so bad I literally couldn't even move? And I won't even get into say some killer who is obviously the best killer in DBD (in his mind anyway) sitting on a rock as you are hooked so he can tunnel you into the ground. I have a crazy idea...maybe FIRST fix the bugs and fix the awful ping because except for the few times I strategically dc to help the remaining survivor these are the only reasons I dc.

That means to me that survivors working on a gen, or on a totem cannot be hit by huntress anymore by aiming just a tiny bit above, making long-shot hits behind gens impossible.
What do you think? Was this necessary?
Since the hitboxes were insanely stupid with Huntress and you'd get hit when clearly you shouldn't be able to be hit...this included me being hit from INSIDE A LOCKER., this wasn't a nerf this was correcting a bugged mechanic. So rationally if you are behind a rock or a gen and an object flies over your head should you be hit? Sure you know the answer to that question.

Seriously now, DBD is really not an easy game for beginners. I admit, i also have a smurf for introducing the game to new friends for the reason to minimise the frustration level. So many of my friends left after a short while because they became sick and tired beeing slaughtered by the "overpowered" killer. It is not fun to get stomped in 9/10 of your first games.
But it is hard to balance around for beginners aswell, the killer simply has an easy time at first, until survivors figure out how to defende themself (and once they stop beeing scared and hiding for minutes when they hear the slightest heartbeat).
My suggestion is to bring back old SWF, so the killer rank is not the rank of the highest ranked survivor but the avarage rank of all 4. This wont fix the problem entirely of course, but it helps a bit where it is needed the most.
But if you bring back the old swf and play off the lowest rank survivor you'll get killers being crushed then. My swf was 4, 5, 9 and 16 and we were facing killers at rank 11 what if instead the killer had been a 17? From my point of view it would have been fun--like when I literally chased this Hag all over the map--don't noob killers ever loo behind them?--I'd get between them and the survivor they were chasing, I'd body block them at the hook, at one point as I got between the killer and the survivor and turned to block their path the Hag literally seemed confused on what to do next. It was very fun...for me...not so sure if the Hag shared my opinion how fun that game was. If you have a rank 4 and 5 survivor that is what a rank 17 killer could look forward to. A few weeks ago I did a killer daily (as I never really play killers). Faced a rank 3 and a rank 4 survivor and they bullied me as bad as I did the Hag...this would be common place if they went back to how it was.

Title. Between the 20+ minute queue times for low rank killers due to the SWF changes (OhTofu just did an awesome video on it, go check it out to see a more elegant explanation), the next to worthless tutorial that doesn't explain perks, bloodwebs, killer powers, or other major gameplay aspects, and the fact that a new player starts with literally nothing, and has to play a game blind with no perks and next to no explanations, I genuinely don't understand how this game gets any new players. I have personally had 3 friends that were super excited to try the game quit within a week, because the game is so tremendously unfun to a player that's new. I'm trying to get yet another friend into it, because I do genuinely think that it's a great game once you get a head of steam, but thanks to the new SWF changes I can't play with him on my main without him dying in literally 10 seconds to a rank 1 killer. So now I'm contributing to the problem by making a smurf account, solely so I can play with a new friend.
This game needs an offline area for survivors to test killers and perks. The game needs a comprehensive tutorial with killer powers, tile explanations, and examples of perks in action. The game needs a way for new players to rank up survivors other than a cycle of hide-die-repeat until they either understand the game thru beating their head against it or quit. Without new players, this game dies, and as of right now there really isn't a good reason to be a new player in DBD.
I have a smurf account too and I will say I have much more fun playing as the smurf and get to actually do things to just have fun rather than being a sweaty tryhard. As a rank 15 survivor on the smurf I get a lobby nearly instantly and as a rank 4 and having one of my swfs as a rank 16 we were facing killers in the 11 rank range not rank 1. There is a steep learning curve for sure. Played a killer who had 12 hours in game compared to my 2000--she disconnected after the 5th gen was done and had zero perks...there was no hope she was ever going to lay a glove on me but that how it be in the early games. I think I played 10 games or more before I ever escaped, couldn't do gens to save my life, was too afraid to unhook people and thought hiding in the middle of the street was a viable strategy. The game is not kind to newer players but in some ways it is more fun when you are new and jump at every sound because you think the killer is about to grab you.

I play solo. And whenever i see the "10, 20 minutes queques" i get so suprised.
I'm at rank 4 currently and my ques take 5 minutes max. Sometimes i even get them instantly!
At rank 4 it takes a good 10 minutes to get a lobby as a survivor at rank 15 it is almost instantly.

Not always the case, played a game last night on coldwind, Jane dc'ed after the first chase before I could even hook. Claudette just afk's and dies on second hook. All that remained was a Nancy and Dwight, so I hit them both with frenzy about three times and stood there while they healed, then I hooked each twice and had the other unhook, then we went around and they did five generators, then I murdered them. We all pipped in the end.
Just saying some killers will work with survivors in that kind of situation, provided they aren't douches of course.
Well it seems from his posts the OP is exactly that though.

I 4k with vanilla trapper with no slowdown perks nearly every game, I think it might just be a you problem. It's really not that hard.
Totally agree...it's not the devs being "survivor sided" it is just him being bad....what's that again...oh yeah "git gud scrub?" I think that was it anyway.

This goes to all killer beginners and bad killers. guys the game is so survivorsided now. we nearly have no chance against them to completly dominate the game. i have over 1300 hours and after ruin nerv i can only play freddy for a4 k.
what can we do to let the survivors suffer?
Leatherface Facecamping. join the party... and be ready to destroy the last fun of the game in this toxic community!
Play often on with a 4-swf team and we are red-purple ranks mostly and sorry we don't completely destroy the killer. Seen plenty of times we got 4k'ed or 3k'ed or are you one of those types who think if you don't get a 4k EVERY TIME that the game is somehow survivor sided?

Hey, how often do you play killer or survivor and why?
I really enjoy playing both sides equally-ish. There's days where i just want to play killer, hit survivors just to hear their scream, but somedays i just want to be in their shoes, getting chase and that great feeling after you escaped from an intense chase with close-calls.
Now i'm trying to learn a bit of survivor too, so its a 60% survivor and 40% killer at this moment, what about you guys?
Of my 82 days in game...maybe 1 full day is as killer and only to do dailies and only if it is one I can reasonably accomplish, plus one that doesn't require me to kill anyone. I will try to kill survivors, but pretty much if you get killed by me you have to be either pretty bad or I got very lucky.
-
Which means you played an easy 2v1 game...not exactly a difficult task. Congrats on your impressive victory. The other two should have just dc'ed as well. Why should I continue to play in a game like that? I am going to lose a PIP anyway why should I do the killer any favors by letting him get points for hooking and killing me. Sorry...I'm gone too in that situation.
-
Sometimes you win the hatch and sometimes you lose. I had this guy streaming my game playing the Wraith and it was Badham so I knew where the hatch was going to be. I am the last one, I go down and the hatch is open and it won't let me jump in as he is cloaked and body blocking it. I get hit and eventually downed. Was that a pretty scummy move? 100% yes, but I'd never say something like "I didn't deserve the hook." He pulled a BS move, got me and hooked me. Oh well...on to the next game.
-
So what did he mean he didn't deserve the hook? Did he get downed by a trash hit box or something?

For the Sore Ankles Chapter 3 challenge in the Tome.
Is it too much to ask to put the actual distance in the description? Like "fall from 8 meters while being chased" instead of these vague adjectives?
No clue but being chased by the killer in Badham and I was looping the killer in the preschool by jumping in the hole in the floor down to the basement then jumping over the pipes and back upstairs to do the whole thing over again and that was enough. Didn't even realize I had done the task as the drop isn't really that far.

I don’t like the idea of someone hogging all the totems. Sounds like another way for survivors to troll each other. In coming complaints of someone with small game or detective hunch and sweeping the map and leaving every1 else high n dry.
Most people don't run IS and since it seems every damn time that crutch NOED activates I make it my life's mission to kill every totem I find and yes I run detective's to make sure I kill them all. I have had games where I personally killed 4 of them and NOED still goes active. Come on...three other people can't do one single totem?

It's fine as is. Though if they made it so you could stack up tokens I'd be ecstatic. It's probably best they don't though. You'd have the one ######### in every match who cleansed every totem. I'd be that #########.
I clean every totem I find, but if you could stack IS totems that'd be outstanding.

Greetings,
a while ago I bought Nancy and, except for Inner Strength, I think her perks are pretty bad.
This Perk now replaced Technician in my builds and I wanna hear some opinions. Do you guys think it's good as it is: cleanse a totem, Perk activates, heal, and start again or would anyone like me like a buff or change to where this Perk can gather tokens? For example you cleanse 2 totems and then Inner Strength has 2 tokens that you can use to heal yourself in lockers.
I'm probably not the only one that, while running around, found a totem, kept in mind where it is because it couldn't be cleansed right now, just to find it cleansed by someone else after a while and pretty much a free heal gone.
Hopefully you guys can kinda understand what I'm saying lul.
I use inner strength on both my mains--Feng and Yui along with Tapp's detective and it is great. But I do maybe recommend carrying a med kit just as a crutch. It is good as is and unless you are a noob Technician is not very useful though it was once my most precious perk. Some totems are ridiculous where they are placed now. One was literally inside a bag--meaning it was impossible to see on three sides and the only side it could be seen faced a wall. Which is why you bring Tapp's detective's hunch--at tier III shows all totems (as well as unopened chests and unfinished gens) within 64 meters for 10 seconds and at 6 seconds healing time faster than SC and faster than another survivor healing you. The downside is as pointed out you get only 5 chances, but I've never had the issue of running out of totems and needing one. Even if I have IS active I'll still kill a totem if I come across one or DH shows me where one is nearby as I want to make sure there are none standing once the exit gate activates.
-
Had this happen to me twice. I had the headon achievement to do and I went into a locker at the exit gate. I slip inside and this Dwight goes and opens the door over and over. I went off on him in the post game chat and he seemed clueless. I did escape but didn't get my achievement. The second time was worse. I go into a locker in the killer shack. Dwight starts opening the locker over and over and even body blocking me. I eventually get hooked and he then comes up to me and does the whole "I am unhooking you...no I'm not...I'm unhooking you..no I'm not" routine. I get the killer to report him after the game as I do and I reported the other two SWfs as well not that it will do anything. The reason they do it is to be trolls and jerks. 99% of the time it is on purpose to troll you. I use inner strength too so I am going into a locker two or three times a game so last thing I need is some jerk trolling me. I did eventually get that achievement done though.
