While I 100% agree with you, I'm guessing 3 people who are making it their mission to make one players life absolutely miserable aren't going to care all that much about screwing over the solo player.

Eh, I'm fine with it
If you were a casual player who didn't really play all that often I can see that irking you but then again, I would imagine if you're that casual that you only play a handful of games a week that challenges wouldn't really be anything you'd care all that much about.
I play this game way more often than anyone not getting paid to play the game should so I'm fine with having these longer challenges that take a bit more work to get through but I've never struggled to get any Archive done before the next one is released.

I stocked up on tests (and thankfully for me I have insurance so I can get the "free" tests covered by my insurance). In my immediate family at least, I am the last man standing to not get Covid (to the best of my knowledge at least). I test basically anytime I get anything resembling the sniffles as I have a coworker whose husband has cancer and I am going to do my very best to make sure that I'm not the one who inadvertently gives my coworker Covid...

Like I stated earlier, this doesn't affect me as I didn't use them knowing about the bug early due to the forum but I'd have to assume there's some way to fix this (either giving affected people BPS's back or something else to fix it)

I can't imagine this is all that is going to be done, right? Like...we had messages on this forum talking about how these weren't working literally days ago and BHVRs fix is to give out 100,000 BP to people as an "Oopsy Poopsy, Sorry!!!" and only now kill switching them?
Thankfully I'm obviously on this forum a lot so I've known all about it but I'd be downright furious if I've been blowing Cakes/BPS this entire time only to now find out that they never worked so here's about two games worth of BP as a sorry.
I...I feel dirty posting a Holly pic here for this code but rules are rules...
Maybe Holly will make people who burned a bunch of BPS items feel a little better.

You can also try a hard reset on your console but I doubt it would work. The cache was my best idea unfortunately

Try to clear your cache. I'm not sure which Xbox you have but it's simple to do, just Google it. I've never had this particular issue before but the cache might be holding conflicting information that is messing with your Live account.

Well it was just off for like...a day and every other thread was "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TURN THE DC PENALTY BACK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
So I'm guessing that's why we have DC Bans. When people have no DC Bans, they quit at the drop of a hat and constantly ruin the game for everyone. They're why we can't have nice things.

That wouldn’t explain her kill rate on the 5% MMR chart though, nobody being counted on that chart is a bad player.
It's hard to say for sure for really much of any of these numbers.
I've always been of the mind that these stats are fun to see but that's all they should ever be used for; fun.
Only the devs have the information and context to really determine what these numbers mean and what, if any, changes need to be made.

Someone on The Twitter made this point about Sadako and I'm curious if it's true.
Basically she's Opposite Nurse. Instead of a ton of people trying to play her and the noobs getting stomped brining her numbers down, only a handful of VERY good killers actually use Sadako so her numbers are far more inflated than you'd expect just because she doesn't have a bunch of noobs pulling her numbers down.

While I do agree that killers are probably a smidge overpowered in the game right now, it's a smidge at the very best. At least when you have survivors and killers who actually know what they're doing.
Although as normal, survivors who REALLY know what they're doing are the OP ones but short of a Seal Team SWF Squad, getting four survivors who have that kind of skill level in the same squad is an exception, not the rule.

Either the Wraith or The Oni
The Wraith because he can just cloak and let everyone kill each other before he just wanders in with a sneaky killing blow
The Oni if Wraith is discovered because The Oni is a big boi and would be able to just soak up the damage while also dealing high damage right back. Short of everyone ganging up on him, I don't know if there's an original killer in the game that could go one v one against him.

While I don't agree with you basically taking yourself out of the game (if that was your intention, why didn't you just die while being on the hook if they let you get to second stage), I can get it.
For me, if I end up in that kind of situation I still play but I go from super altruistic Tippy who will throw his life away to save my teammates to "F you, I got mine" Tippy who will hide if the killer is nearby, not attempt to do any kind of bodyblocking or assistance, and just leave the second I can rather than 99'ing the gate and/or sticking around to see if I can be of assistance.

Well it's the last one of this Trilogy (and supposedly Jamie Lee Curtis signed an agreement saying she will not play as Laurie Strode again).
It seems very unlikely that this is the last Halloween movie ever.

There are a lot of players who do that kind of thing unfortunately. Whether it's because they're new to the game, they're trying to do a Hatch challenge, they think the game is lost and just go into hiding mode, don't like the killer so they just throw the game, or what but it happens a lot. Not much you can do about it except move on.

It gambled. It was a huge gamble. They took a massive franchise like Halloween and the end of a Trilogy (or do we count this as a Quadrilogy since the original counts?) and shook it up massively. The ending just...didn't feel like it paid off at all. It's probably blasphemous as hell but...
If you're going to swing for the fences, SWING for the fences. The only way I can see that entire story working is that if Corey was about ready to kill Laurie and Michael SAVED her (you can make it ambiguous the reason why but personally I think having Michael save her because HE wants to be the one who kills her would be ideal). Then Corey essentially manages to kill them all and rides off into the sunset with the mask in hand to continue the "legend" of MIchael Myers. I have no idea if this would actually work well or not but I feel like it's the only way it really could have ended in my mind that would have made the story actually pay off...
I think that poster was absolutely right that the movie was an interesting idea and tried to do something really different but there was no good payoff for that gamble. It's like they decided to do a huge gamble with the last movie only to chicken out at the end.

I consider it a win if I had fun
Curb stomping a group of noobs I suppose is technically a win in the sense that a NFL team curb stomping a high school JV team is a win but I can't imagine either group enjoyed the experience. Running circles around a poor killer that I am clearly leagues above isn't very fun either even though I escape with ease.
Dying or getting 0K in a fun match is a much bigger win in my book than escaping with my team or getting a 4K in a boring match.
