Astro a40 or a50 (wireless version of a40). I've had these for over 3 years now and they are built solid. I used to use Turtle Beach but they were so flimsy they would break after 2 years all the time. Switched to a50's and never been happier. Full 5.1 surround sound, metal parts that don't break easy, very comfortable, compatible with all platforms. Highly recommended.

I actually have a pretty good Chucky design, perks and add-ons too (though I only have functions not names). Maybe I'll share it later today.

That would solve the height issues and be cool to see in game.

Holy ######### that would be badass, just suddenly see the spirit of Charles appear and hoist the Survivor on his shoulder then hook them, transform into Charles for vaulting and grabbing etc, damn that would be dope!
He wouldn't transform, just the ghost of the killer appears around the doll and mimes his motions.

OK, I do not understand a lot of that xD can anyone explain in French or Finnish?"Anthropomorphism" is attributing human features (personality and/or body shape) to non-human things (could be objects, but most often it's animals). Furries do that, often with sexual undertones.
Bestialite?
That's different. Bestiality is the sexual attraction to actual animals.
I am confused, scared and worried about fox people now.
You have reason to be scared of me right now. Hide your kids, hide your wife, I'm comin' for that skin.

Very nice! Though I'm noticing now that the main page text is HUGE and doesn't fit on the screen, and the text in the slot wheel is off center. Minor things though.

Nurse's, BBQ, Ruin, Haunted Grounds is a solid build for learning Spirit. I used to say Stridor was mandatory on her but then they changed sounds and even though they sort of fixed it, it's not as good on her anymore. M&A, Whispers and MYC are also good picks for her.

Wraiths camp, Pigs tunnel and will slug in endgame, Nurses are either trying desperately to do a challenge or they’re good and you’re gonna die, Doctors are competitive and will win through force or attrition, Michaels rely on Exposed, Huntresses will either try to mother you (friendly) or smother you, Clowns will hit you with his knife and bottles on hook, Legions and Spirits are most likely to be toxic.Honestly a lot of killers camp and tunnel and are toxic. Doesn't matter the killer.
-
They are harder yes, but if you ever run into someone who put the time into them trust me when I say they are not a joke.
-
I actually have to go back to some killers to get perks from the last 2 DLC's. I've been swapping my main around a lot. Right now I'm working on getting everything for Spirit because I p3'd her and she's my only p3 killer (and only because I like her p3 skins, I couldn't care less for all the other killers which is why I run cosmetics on all of them instead).
-
Get to rank 1. Killers there are surprisingly way more chill. Most are really good, so don't expect an easy game, but they play fair for the most part. However most will camp/tunnel you if necessary and will kill you if you mess up.
If you get me as killer I try to play as fair as I can and I'll give freebies if I feel like people deserve it. Just don't ######### at me if I kill you, I send GG's to almost everyone kill or escape. If you throw salt in my face after that you get put on the hit list, and you won't like me as your killer if you are on my hit list. Trust.
-
PS. Wow dude this is really sweet. GOOD JOB!
My only suggestion would be to write all the perk names in all caps on the wheel. It would look better and help with reading. All lower case makes it look cheap. Could also just capitalize the first letters, but IMO all caps would be more consistent and easier to read.
And IDK what font you are using but maybe change it up. Shouldn't be fancy because it makes it harder to read, but like Calibri is very simple yet stylish and looks good in all caps.

-My mother after giving birth to me -
What if you could combine stuff you don't use into recipes that have a chance to give you better stuff? Sort of like the Grinder from Borderlands. You put in something like 10 items and it gives you a random item of a higher rarity. Only stipulation I would say is that all the items put in and the item that comes out are of the same type. So offerings to get offerings, items to get items, add-ons to get add-ons.
Killers could throw in all those useless purple myst/splinters and get some moris. Survivors could throw in all those broken keys and maybe get a purple flashlight. Stuff like that. Keeps the economy where it is but let's you make use of the useless stuff. And since there is no guarantee you get the item you want then it's balanced. Oh and also let's us get rid of all those useless event offerings when the event is over (I would treat them as yellow rarity)
-
The thing is that's 20 seconds more that you get to one shot them. While yes, if you are getting hooks left and right tier 1 might be better, but that's a rare instance. More than likely you will need that 20 seconds to hunt down the MYC guy because they will throw pallets and do everything they can to avoid a hit until Exposed goes away. Also it benefits you more if you happen to not return to the hook, because Exposed tends to make survivors play immersed, meaning that at tier 1 the MYC guy will be back on a gen 20 seconds sooner than tier 3.
-
Deep Wounds already screws up your screen and TBH I F'ing hate it. It's hard to out play the killer when you can't see.
Good effort though with the idea. I just think it would end up being really lame on survivor side.

It's true tho, killers are too quick to judge survivors. There have been many times where I thought it was a SWF, but I was completely wrong, they were great solos players. Another thing, what's up with the 2 toolboxes/Flashlight/Med-Kits = SWF stereotype? It's like we have to follow their imaginary rules just to play a game of survivor, God bless this is ridiculous. Yet ironically, whenever they use certain add-ons it's okay??? Why can't we use our items???Survivors gave me salt one time for using "purple add-ons" for Trapper. Stitched Bag and Fastening Tools. Like do you guys even read the cards? DO YOU KNOW WHAT THESE ACTUALLY DO?? I carry more traps, I set them faster, and it's a bit harder to free yourself. Nothing at all OP about that. I could understand to a degree if I had Iri Stone or Bloody Coils, even Honing Stone, but what I was using was no where near OP.

Game would definitely die on Xbox. Some people won't play unless it's with friends. They would just go play something else where they can play with friends.

It's actually more important you keep working on the gen and just run when you see/hear the killer, otherwise you waste time hiding pointlessly.
I agree, running before the killer is in sight/terror radius is silly. A good player should stay on the gen.
When I play killer, I've caught so many survivors this way, so I think it depends. As a survivor, I always leave. Not worth the risk, especially if it's Spirit or Pig.
That's probably because they weren't actually paying attention or they didn't have an escape plan if you showed up.
I always look for the closest window or pallet and make a B-line there if I see the killer.
I main Pig when I'm playing killer, so they usually don't see. That's why I said it's not worth the risk. Can't count how many survivors I've literally pulled off gens after they've continued repairing.
I can count on 1 hand in +1500 hours how many times I've been grabbed off a gen by a Pig or Myers. You can hear them breathing. Prayer Bead Spirit I've been grabbed more, but only because I didn't know she had PB. Once I know I've never been grabbed.
Again most survivors don't have good awareness which is why you get them.

twistedmonkey said:To the players that think dodging is fair game when it looks to be an unfun match, do you think they should allow survivors to see the killer profile in the lobby again so they can do the same?
The problem with this analogy is that a lot of SWFs often use third party programs (voice chat/text) to ruin the experience for the killer.
Voice chat isn't in the game. Or any chat really during a trial.
If SWF were strictly only using what is in the game, killers might not have issue with SWF to begin with.If the killer were to use third party programs to get an edge, it's basically a bannable offense.
The killer, as much unfun as it might be, is basically only using what's in the game.Come to Xbox. Party system is part of the platform, I can invite all the rando's in the lobby to a party if I want. Maybe just man up and deal with it instead of complaining. Most SWF groups are really not as pro as people make them out to be. Also miscommunication is a thing, so...

- Running Kindred and having my fellow survivors continue working on their gens until I go into struggle, or worse yet: using Kindred to find each other and have a healing party in the corner of the map.
Also not a bad thing (second part about healing). Kindred is to help the team, and if the team needs to heal this helps them find each other. It is a bit lame they would let you hang to second stage though.
- Unhooking a survivor (cough Nea or Jake cough) with We'll Make It and the killer nowhere in sight, only to have them kite me halfway around the map before they let me heal them.
Just leave them. It's a waste of your time to do this. If they don't want to stay for the heal they are on their own. Not your problem.
- Survivors who respond to Blood Warden spikes going up by hiding behind the pillars INSIDE the exit gate. Umm, Quentin, I can still see you, girlfriend.

I mean this is good for you as killer though? Also I'm pretty sure this is because most survivors don't realize their aura is revealed with BW, as most survivors don't play killer let around read the killer's perk cards.
Just making some points here.

I think its the element of surprise that people cant handle... like it feels cheap.YES! This is exactly the problem. Other Exposed status give you a warning, but NOED doesn't. If you are the one being chased at end game it will feel really lame.
That's why I advocate for some sort of minor TELL that a killer has NOED during the normal game. Survivors that catch on will no slow down to do totems, which is ultimately what killers want right? Then both sides win.

It is in the survivors' own best interest to buff killers so that they can have more matches instead of spending their time waiting for a lobby. No honestly killer is plenty strong already, especially if you have a good build and strategy you will crush all but the absolute best 4 man SWF, and even then you make them work for it. Like the game I had with my friends in the OP, I KNOW they are good players and I had to really sweat to beat them, but I still did. If you took away the mori, the game would have AT BEST been 2-2 for them because I was definitely on track to kill at least 2 of them before the gates even powered. More likely it would have been a 3-1 for me, with the last one probably taking gate or hatch (but gates would be powered). KILLERS DO NOT NEED MORE BUFFS They are in a good spot right now.
SWF needs to get nerfed/balanced so that more people want to play against these groups.
This is exactly what needs to happen. SWF needs to be nerfed in some manner, I've said before the game should limit SWF groups to 1 instance of a perk among a group to make them focus on TEAM builds instead of 4 meta solo builds with added comms. People want to boost solos up to SWF levels, YOU CAN'T. It's impossible because comms beats everything. Unless you want to give survivors permanent aura reading on each other with infinite range, HUD icons that show them in a chase/on a gen/doing a Hex totem, give notifications when a pallet is used, and basically give them all the info you can possibly do, solo will NEVER be as good as SWF.
And like I said killers are PLENTY strong right now. Sometimes it's almost boring if you get a full potato squad of how easy it can be with stuff like Ruin and NOED. They don't need buffs.
Solo survivor is in a good spot right now. When I play solo, I won't lie it's a bit frustrating when other players do dumb stuff but it happens. 99% of the time my survival is dependent on my actions and my actions alone. If I am with potatoes I will play for hatch. Or even play to die if I know I got enough points to still pip.
Here's a better solution... force survivors to play killer and force killers to play survivor. Too many bad and salty players simply because they lack any perspective on the game. They get mad at stuff the other side does to them that almost all the time is a legit tactic or a smart play. Or even just skill, I've seen survivors get mad a Huntress sniped them from across the map. It's like, can you even recognize when someone actually did something skillful? I do it all the time. "Oh I messed that up" or "wow they outplayed me there". All because I have perspective. I used to get mad at a lot of stuff killers did until I started to really play killer and got to rank 1. Now the only thing that still irks me is when a killer camps slugs for the 4k and drop resets to make the game last 30 minutes, because it's just flat out unnecessary. Or when a killer refuses to just accept that survivor got the escape in a hatch standoff where they are both just standing on the hatch (PS, I agree the HATCH STANDOFF is dumb and they need to fix it, but hatch itself is fine most killers are just salty children bc they didn't get their precious 4k). And just for some PERSPECTIVE, I hate when survivors refuse to leave a game just to annoy the killer or get all pissy and sandbag when other survivors don't do what they want.
If you ask me both sides need to man the ######### up and stop acting like children. That is what is killing this game.
-

It may be because the other 4 man queue had been waiting longer so the game tried to help them get a match first.Almost like those 10 minute+ wait times effect more than just your friends and you were contributing to the problem of making those wait times significantly worse.
I got several groups of 2 or 3 multiple times. So no it's probably not because they were waiting longer. It's hard to tell sometimes because they wouldn't exactly join at the same time but it would be the same people, which I've had playing with friends. In fact last night it was me and my buddy in a 2 man, I join a lobby and a full 30 seconds later he joins. I was about to leave because we thought he was just stuck in a loading screen.

Either way dodging is still dodging and should still be bannedLOL because it makes sense to force people to play a game with no exceptions. No until everyone hits 'ready up' and the loading screen starts you are not obligated to do anything.

-Deliverance (or choice)Play like you don't give a single SHHHH about what the killer has and RUSH EVERYTHING. Rush gens. Rush totems. Rush hook saves. Rush if you are Exposed. Rush if Pig put an RBT on you. Just rush. Take hits for other survivors if they are going to go down BUT ONLY IF you can tell the killer REALLY wants to catch them (eg. sponge that Myers EW tier 3 when he is on someone else for that YUMMY slug, now he wastes his stuff and you both get away). Do stuff right in the killer's face if they are chasing someone else. A gen. A totem. Anything they are protecting. FORCE THEM TO TAKE YOUR HOOK. You can do this with NM, and if your team is with you then killer can't stop you guys no matter how hard they try. If they slug you can continue your shenanigans. If they hook you the others finish what the killer is protecting.
Just be prepared to die a lot. Because that's what this build is.

It was completely boring, as a killer, if I came by a vessel I would just break it and move on, there was nothing exciting about killer gameplay, you would just hook and, well, walk around and break vessels on a lazy animation. As a survivor, it was completely stressful, my teammates often left me to death to steal my vessel.
Let's not talk about the toxicity. And bloodpoints gains were trash. Overall the event was meh, at least in my opinion.
See you stress to much over the vessels. As survivor I would take them and then just play normally. Doing gens was a much more reliable way to get points. As killer I didn't even care to go after the vessels, I would just do them if I came across them. As long as you didn't reuse a hook or hook in basement you got points pretty quick.
I have not encountered anyone that would leave you to die to take your vessel. Either you played with super toxic survivors or you maybe misinterpret their actions. I'm more inclined to think the latter.

True. They could've maybe made it simple and give you a BP return on every extra event offerings you have left.
I'd rather they just make it so I don't have to take the thing. The Entity waits until it is the last item to take it, and only takes it if it's in the path it's already going. If I wanted to take it I would have LONG before the Entity got there.

My only gripe with this event is the scaling points needed for each additional coin. I wouldn't mind if the base amount was higher but they took out the scaling (except for maybe the first coin). My friends were online in a 4 man SWF. My one friend was streaming, so when they finished their game I semi-stream sniped her to get them in my lobby (turned off the stream once we got to a loading screen). I was SPECIFICALLY dodging so I could get them into my lobby, not because of anything the players entering my lobby had or who they were. In fact, the moment anyone would join and it wasn't them I left to reset.BTW Trapper, 4k (I did have a pink mori just for them 😘, but I didn't use it until I had 4 stacks of BBQ AND got 2 hooks on a few AND they had 1 gen left), also NOED but that's always on my Trapper, played fair and kept it fun (no camping/tunneling). My one friend got super mad at me and I had to give them a pink key to make up for my evils. Pretty sure I'll be left to die on a hook for a few games after this. But it was SO worth it LOL.
However this brought to my attention something seriously messed up with the matchmaking system. Like I said, I was watching her stream and from the moment they finished a game and searched a new one I went hunting. They sat in a lobby WAITING for maybe 10 minutes of nothing, while I would reset my lobby over and over again. Sometimes I would get the same survivors! On top of that, they are all rank 1 and I'm a rank 1 killer, it should totally prioritize putting them into my lobby before ANYONE else. I mostly got solo survivors, not groups. I did get a few pairs (I think, coulda just been joins at the same time), and I think at least 1 other 4 man before I got them.
It's honestly a bit obscene how many other survivors found my game before they did. It wasn't even like they would find a game and get dodged themselves, they just... sat in a lobby the whole time. I really hope by the time dedicated servers come around BHVR finds ways to speed up the wait times. It's the same thing when I play with them too, so this wasn't like a fluke. We get this all the time as a group.
Once again.
Dedicated servers only affect WHO is hosting the game, it has nothing to do with matchmakingIt does affect MM. If someone has a restricted NAT they are less likely to connect to you. When they connect to a dedicated server that isn't an issue anymore. Also when you connect to a server, because everyone now connections to the same location, if you weren't connecting to someone before based on location now THAT isn't an issue anymore.
I've played games that were p2p and moved to dedi's and MM stuff like this does get fixed because the dedi's normalize the connections for everyone. Granted it's not a huge difference, but people that had issues with MM had fewer problems after the switch.
-
@Tsulan said:
Why do you think the wait times will improve when dedicated servers release?

Not to defend tunnelers, but as someone that plays Spirit a good amount I will say that we don't always know who we are chasing when we phase walk. Scratch marks is all you have, and if multiple survivors are playing as male or as female you don't know if it's an injured Feng or Kate you are chasing.
