Coldwind Farm finally has solid maze wall tiles. Only took them 3 years -- oh wait we're talking about positives, right.
MoM is no longer bugged without a nerf or a rework. I guess that's kind of a positive. Now if only they'd give even 1/10th of the attention and care to the 40 other bugs on the killer side which strongly hinders them.
(If you can't tell, I'm grasping at straws to feel positive about with this entire PTB).
@Sairek Now imagine if they also could remove all the god pallets around the Thompson House and also STOP MAKING NEW MAPS SO ######### HUGE!

Does she need even more nerfs? Isn't making her power completely useless enough?

@se05239 How do you feel about his reload time without Add-ons?
@Boss The reload speed doesn't matter if you can make good plays with four bottles.

Worst part is that devs will probably ignore all of our feedback and release this patch like It is right now anyway...
No problem tho, I have other games in which you actually get rewarded if you play good and you dont have to rely on 2 characters to win instead of your own skill.
@tt_ivi_99 That's Behavior in a nutshell.
-
The clown still has issues where his bottles are destroyed immediately upon throwing, the clown balance wise is sitting well, but the bugs he causes seriously hinder him, and it's been a problem (For me) Ever since spirit was released
The Clown got a lot of things going for him that's not positive.
Slow down on throw, bottles breaking instantly, slow's not threatening enough on its own without add-ons, he makes noises vaulting and breaking stuff which reduces potential mind-games..
His concept is fine but he falls flat in practice because of him being under-performing.
-
And he wasn't even toxic, he never DCs and there's only a mild level of post-game trash-talking if the survivors get down and dirty trash-talking him.
Goes to show how much the developers care about the community when they ask for opinions from an actually good and positive impact in the their community, Ardetha, and then throw his feedback in the corporate heating furnace.
-
@PigMainBigBrain It sucks when the devs neuter low-tier killers because they had stronger than average end-games because of the "NEW AND IMPROVED" end-game they've created.
-
@Peanits You don't improve the end-game by neutering end-game killers.
-
Why'd you rob the Pig of all her power?
-
If they're gonna remove it so that the inactive traps cannot trigger at the doors, then they should at least make a compromise that the traps activate themselves if you fail a skill-check trying to remove it from a box.
-
DbD will never be balanced.
-
Why are people excited for a PTB? The developers don't care about whatever feedback we give them.
-
@Frozenscum I'd not mind changing and improving an add-on, no.
-
Sadly, the only thing this would lead to is survivors leaving lobbies because their fellow survivors don't have "good enough" perks.

Knowing the developers, very unlikely to be fixed anytime soon.
@ABannedCat This. Their priorities lie elsewhere.

Yes, she does.
She's small, she has a lot of matte dark clothing, and she's black skinned. All three makes her one of the best natural hiders in the game.
-
Good luck! I hope that you manage to beat the challenge.
-
Survivors have realized that there's basically no punishment to DCing so now they're DCing left, right and center. Doesn't help that the Devs aren't doing anything to fight it, instead focusing on pushing for more cosmetics.
-
It's akin to t-bagging.

it would of been a "surprise" if we were getting them for free
@blud_peeni HAHAHAHAHAH! You wish.

Let's hope. The current version of it is lame af.
-
I stopped watching after season 2.
-
1 DC is free, because of REAL LIFE shenanigans.
2 DC, 5 minutes timeout.
3 DC, 10 minutes timeout.
4 DC, 15 minutes timeout.
######### sometimes happens and while I agree that there needs to be a timeout for DCing games, it shouldn't ramp up TOO hard because sometimes life happens.
-
Instead of fake skillcheck warning make time between warning and skillcheck random length - from standart to lullaby at 4 tokens. 5 different timings will help to fail checks and delay game.
@Frozenscum This. Although I personally think it's a very strong power to be considered a passive. Perhaps Lullaby tier 1-2 could be passive but definitely not 3-4.
-
Such optimism. We've already seen that they're prioritizing them cosmetics before anything else. Stuff like constant disconnection from survivors (and killers) and infinite loading screens and loading crashes.
The Store needs fodder for the cattle to feast on.
-
"When killer is in terror Radius of the hook then hook progressions stops until the killer is outside of this radius,"
This has been tried out in a PTB and it was abused as ######### by survivors. Please stop suggesting the same stupid idea over and over again.
-
The end-game is basically a more comsetically pleasing solution to survivors refusing to run out the door. I'd consider it an overall buff for SURVIVORS since they're no longer stuck in a game with the killer in case their team cannot fix 2 generators before they're all out, thanks to the hatch now spawning no matter how many generators were fixed.
-
Easier said that done now when survivors DC the second they get downed..
-
The worst thing about all of this is the developers lack of any apparent conviction to solving the whole DC epidemic.
They come forth with a "Big Surprise" that got people excited that something were about to happen about that, or that the Dedicated Servers were finally here, but nah, we got cosmetics instead. Such a surprise.
We know where their priorities lie. If the people DCing all the time still buy cosmetics, there's no point in fixing the problem.
-
Between Frank/Julie's "tough guy" default outfits and Joey's "too edgy for school" gettup, Susie's the only one who feels like she has a personality in her outfit.
-
Why are you promoting that killers slug more thanks to the Hatch appearing no matter how many generators have been repaired?
-
Also footstep sounds are basically nonexistant and it's really hard to hear generator progress through walls..
-
Gosh, I hope not. Scream's so overrated. Might as well start adding FnaF killers and Slenderman then.
-
Close the post-game chat by pressing the two >> arrows next to the box where you type and never open it again.
It'll save you a GLOBAL SHITLOAD of sanity.
-
Who cares? I personally feel Meg's the ugly one.. out of the original survivors. The licensed ones all have that.. uncanny valley blank stare to them.
-
More worthless cosmetics instead of critical fixes to solve loading crashes and the DCing epidemic? Classic. Very classic. What a surprise.
-
@not_Queen So this was the surprise? Wow. One would think you'd have other priorities when players DC all over the place, loading screens that never end, people crashing mid-loading screens and games where you only have 1-3 survivors loading in.
But good on you. More cosmetics. Yay.

I'm all in with my iridescent shards that they are actually just going to release another cosmetic set and call that the "surprise".
@Peasant This is my assumption too.
-
Might be due to you using add-ons or burning an offering. The adept achievements are known to be kinda.. specific.
But the achievements might just be broken once again. I wouldn't be surprised.
-
So the only reason for this is just to motivate survivors to leave right away instead of hanging around and t-bagging at the exit gates? No.. extra objectives or.. anything?

If anything, the entire bloodpoint system needs a rework. It's such a grind!
@QwrtyMan213 It has already been reworked because it used to be EVEN WORSE back in the day. What needs to happen is to Bloodpoint gain to increase or perk levels to be removed, either would heavily reduce the grind.
-
Deranged Pursuit needs to be updated, at least.
-
Behavior Interactive don't play their own game enough to realize how badly they lobotomized Legion with their update.
-
Autodidact needs to have increased chances for proccing skillchecks.
Head On needs to have the stun happen at the very start of the "jumping out" animation instead of after it, so that killers cannot grab you mid-animation.
We're Gonna Live Forever needs to also give a token for healing a health state on another survivor and have it so that you get a token for SAFE hook rescues, not just any hook rescue.. so it cannot be used for farming.
-
There were three major reasons that made Legion extremely unfun to play against.
- Frank's Mixtape tunneling.
- Chase exploit, called Moonwalking, to make the Deep Wound tick down even when "being chased".
- No penalty for spamming attacks in FF. Some Legions even used it for INCREASED MOBILITY.
Solving these three reasons would have made Legion a more enjoyable killer to face. Behavior, of course, attempted all of these three things by gutting Legion altogether..
-
Camping penalties have been tried out in PTBs and have always been exploited by survivors, one way or another.

That's not true. The Spirit, for instance, went into the PTB with a pretty negative reception, then after receiving some minor changes, became one of the more popular killers. There may not be time to make massive changes to something on the PTB, which is why they will sometimes take a while to implement (Legion, for example), but minor tweaks are definitely possible.
@Peanits One of the few rare cases. She has been nerfed since with the loud glass noise when moving out of her Husk when phasing and I don't down many more small nerfs will strike her still. Not to mention the sound getting ######### over every other patch, screwing Spirit players up royally.
If you're all so eager to listen to feedback, why haven't anything been done to help boost Clown? Or Trapper? Or Leatherface? We keep hearing genuinely good feedback on a weekly basis on each and every one of those but nothing's acknowledged.
Its all just reassuring PR talk until it hurts Behavior's revenue stream.
