How would you buff him? Removing the 1st hit would make him overwhelmingly strong imo. The actual cooldown on hits is also fine. Honestly I'd just reduce base Vaccinnes to 2.
The problem is that when you hit a survivor they speed up when you infect them.

Ive been depiping from really good games where i escape. Not that i care its just kinda stupid

Nerfing spirit is basically Nerfing blight.
It'd be a waste of time. she can already be countered by good survivors.
It comes down to skill on how to use her properly, especially against good survivors.
Go watch Oracle vs Dowsey's spirit. look how he struggled to even get a 1k,
1. That was a comp game
2. Your entire point is "get good"
3. What does spirit have to do with blight?
The point is that for how strong she is she is way too easy to play. Standing still as a mindgame with the counter literally being luck should not be in this game.

Oh. Well im dumb lol

so the killer isn't suppose to do their job because someone DC'd?
Well they didnt make it any fun. Why would anyone camp vs 3 survs at 5 gens?

It means that it defeats the purpose of nerfing it in the first place.
Imagine you nerf Decisive Strike from what it is now.
Like after 30 seconds, it expires. But to compensate for you, Decisive Strike can now be used multiple times.
It completely defeats the purpose as to why it was nerfed. Because now it's just better in some other way.
Yea i was agreeing to that point. Someone said how they were annoyed at comments that state this.

The most boring killers to play against for me as a main survivor is....Hillbilly, Doctor, Trapper, Huntress, Cannibal, Pig, Legion, Wraith.
Fun Killers: Nurse, Michael Myers, Hag, Freddy, Clown, Spirit, Plague, Ghost Face, Demogorgon, Oni, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, Blight, Twins, Trickster, Nemesis.
Um... Freddy? But not billy? Im baffled at this outrage!

Wym? They have a strong point.

@Verconissp said:
Nope.
It' should stay imho.
just have to be Effective at gens and get out quickly my guy,
So your saying to keep an unhealthy mechanic because all you have yo do is genrush. That right there is why every killer tunnels and camps recently, the genrush happens almost every game now and killers compensate with the only possible option. Spirit should be nerfed, gens should take longer, simple as that.

Same, though i have a pc alt waiting for cross progression i probably wont play it much until the event is over
-
Dude vampires are perfect for a game like dbd. Great mori potential, fun and interesting power, cool cosmetics, very interesting perks, maybe a map too.

@Itooshie said:
Trickster is so weird because I feel like its very player dependant on if you can hit knives. I love him, but i'm a terrible shot, so this faster decay is just going to be the death of me. Especially at tall and long loops where you rarely have an option to shoot.
Yea, which is why im interested to see the outcome of this buff lol

You described me as survivor there perfectly lol
Far too easy to rank up if players with my skill level can reach red ranks.
Exactly. From what ive seen at least half of red ranks should be at rank 10 lol

Nintendo Switch doesn't have it yet but you can link your account to bhvr to be ready for it.
Yea they have it planned but its not out yet.
-
Well it would be more of a feel good feature like shadowborn.
-
Well then it would be the same thing as "how are you a rank one but play like garbage!?" Scenario. I think at some point there were plans to not show ranks at endgame but idk
-
I think its your controller or an xbox only bug. (Im on ps4 its fine) also the devs dont choose which platforms get cross progression and i dont even think switch has it, just that it was planned. Maybe restart your system? Idk honestly this probably proves how xbox just is lacking
-
@BingBongMan said:
Trickster still needs to hit survivors 6 times to injure or down. Huntress needs only 1 hatchet to do all of that in less than half the time. Huntress also doesn't have to worry about her damage decaying away, nor worry about an annoying as hell recoil.
There is still basically no reason to pick trickster over huntress.
Its mostly style points. Why pick bubba when you can play billy? Why pick freddy? Why pick anyone when you can play spirit? Some people either want a challenge or just have their preferences

They will be retired soon cause mori’s will be built into the base game
I dont think this is a final decision. If it was than the whole sacrifice idea would be useless. No one would use it anymore it would just be moris. The only mori i see being base kit is cypress.

I'm sorry but i can't understand it. If it is intentional then it's a terrible way to balance the game but if it's unintentional why is it still here?
Why are they bad?

@Seanzu said:
So the proposal is, make the game easier for killers by extending game time, but possibly giving survivors more bloodpoints (if they hit a skillcheck)? lmao
Doesn't matter how many bps I get if I get camped / tunelled it's likely to be below 10K anyway, lmao
@Tsulan said:
So right now, the forum threads about killers camping&tunneling during the event stack up. While at the same time, we also get threads about killers getting gen rushed.
Both problems are symptoms of the same problem: the current game speed. Killers camp&tunnel because they feel frustrated, since they often lose 2 or 3 gens in the first chase and survivors gen rush, because killers camp&tunnel.
We need a solution that goes for the root problem: survivors only having 1 real objective. Totems as a side objective are mostly ignored, unless they are lit. Then they work as a survivor magnet, that will come from the other end of the map to get rid of it.
My proposal would be that some gens require gasoline (including new item for the survivors: the gas can) while other gens require parts that can be found or brought in with toolboxes.
Now in regard of the camping: Since we already have skill checks for the second stage, i would love to see something similar for the first stage. Additionally to the attempt escape by pressing m1, survivors should also be able to start a increasingly difficult skill check by hitting space. If passed, the survivor gets rewarded with an increasing amount of bloodpoints for the survival category. (We all know how hard those are to get). On top of that, survivors get the option to prevent getting unhooked by holding E.
Its not about bp, we can make thousands of posts in how to improve that issue. I game slowdown is actually a very good idea since its possible to sit in a lobby longer than the actual game. Since camping is believe it or not a strategy not much is gonna happen. I do however propose that if a gen pops while the killer has been within a 10 meter radius for 10 seconds they will be hindered for the next 30 seconds. This will keep the game going by having a another reason to not camp, and will keep endgame tension if the game goes south since no more gens can pop at that point. Another thing is to make the gens take 100 seconds and not 80 to help with genrushing. Of course a test ptb would be required but i think it would work
-
I seriously hope its haddonfield. We saw that bhvr renewed the halloween license and there was a leak for a laurie rework. Lerys already got a graphical rework but i wouldnt be surprised if it got another one. The most likely though is red forest or swamp. God i hate the swamp
-
Its pyramid head. He is the immortal embodiment of regret and suffering. This unkillable beast from a literal ghost town takes the cake.

I prefer it over spine chill. By knowing the direction the killer is coming from regardless of if they are detectable or not can help me plan effectively. Plus spine chill is countered by looking the other direction and i have ran into the killer using Spine Chill. Premonition completely negates those downsides.
I see. I prefer spine chill since it warns you when the killer is coming. Most people dont look to the side and when premonition goes off you dont know if the killer is coming towards you or if they are walking past. Spine chill solves that with no cooldown. But i see your point

Why would they change it then? They already had a better and more coherent one before. There would be no reason for them to touch it unless they are reworking (Buff/Nerf or possibly adding something extra to them) the killer.
Its bhvr who knows lol

The devs usually mess up and put in post-rework addon descriptions before the rework is even released but the addon will still do what it usually does. It might hint a possible rework to the killer.
Honestly its probably bad translation since the city in canada where bhvr resides is mostly french. Thats why the trapper challenge makes no sense.
-
Why do you use it? Just out of curiosity
-
Overrated: bubba
Underrated: plague
Even: nurse
-
Its the same addon, they just screwed the description

I honestly hate this map. It was better when it was dark. Why would anyone want a map during daytime? It just doesn't fit the theme of this game at all. Either put it back to the way it was or delete it.
It expands the horror of the game by giving it a texas chainsaw massacre vibe. It is too bright for early morning, but even before it wasnt at nighttime. Coldwind has always been in the dusk it is just slightly too bright. Honesty it looks great imo, its just op for survivors
-
Yea people suck. However freddy is another killer that no one likes especially as survivor. But they have no right to call you bad for what killer you play.

During the loading screen last night, one of the bhvr team had his name and his tagline piece below a picture of Charlotte and Victor in what was clearly a French town/village. Is that a hint or snippet of a possible new map in the future. I wasn't quick enough to get a snap of it but keep an eye out if you play today.
It was a concept art for one of the outfits im assuming
-
What legion should have been. A killer that can disguise as one of the survivors to sneak up and attack survivors.

I didn't have any problems on my end. PC player and everything seemed to run just fine with it.
Play it on ps4. You'll understand
-
Unfortunately only as killer. On console the lag is agonizing i really wanted to disconnect several times.

@Product said:
Blight is the most well designed killer in the entire game. The only issue are the people who abuse a high dpi to flick around corners. You can see him enough to react, and he can't magically teleport through walls.
Not anymore. Blights peak was when his pov got changed, but not his flick. Before you would run and turn kinda like billy, easy fun killer thats balanced. Now you do this kinda side run curve that wacks it all up.
-
If they add cross progression im outa here. But ill stick with it for a while if they dont

The crowns don't work. Most people will grab them in game but it wont give them the cosmetic.

-
Okay rank 12 survivor main. We dont need you here that's for sure
-
None
-
The corn isnt even that bad, its mostly how bright the map is that ties everything together. Thompson house actually has some decent door design but thats it.
-
Trapper is actually in the mid c tier for me. Does he need buffs? Yes. But when you play him correctly and have the game centered around a web of traps you will probably win as that is what trapper is good for. He is a territorial killer, its in his base lore.
-
I dont really know. I like them both equally for their own reasons
-
Myers or like hag for sure. But what we really need is old billy

Killer perks are usually substantially stronger than survivor perks. There's also a lot more to game balance than perk strength.
Thats true, but the meta perks which most people use tend to overpower the killer, especially when there are more than one of the same perks. Plus alot of maps are not great for any average killer. In other words alot of killers are very map dependant. On console your hits wont happen because of a broken auto aim, its too laggy to actually play killer, and isnt a fun experience overall. If the survivors are smart (usually a swf) and spread out to do 3 gens at once while the killer chases the fourth the survivors will win alot of the time since there isnt alot the killer can do other than pop, ruin, and corrupt which arent enough still.
-
Considering how there are "bully squads" and there are no limits to what perks can be used this game is very survivor sided. Most situations as survivor go in your favor with a cheeky dead hard or unbreakable. 4 perks vs 12 is not a fair situation, other than spirit of course
