I also think this stream was amazing. Absolutely phenominal
-
Not mixing them up. I meant it ties into the Archives really well. The rift also adds more story-based skins in addition to what you get from the Archive itself. It complements it. It's a battle pass that complements a soon-to-be baseline feature of the game.
I, for one, like exclusive cosmetics but either way we're getting a lot of new skins.
And buying it is completely unnecessary if you don't want to. From the looks of things, you can spend shards as well.
I think it's a win-win tbh
-
I disagree. I think this implementation of a battle pass makes sense and really well thought out. Fits the theme, is about the lore, and can be earned through gameplay, so probably bloodshards.
Also pretty sure tentative means release date.
Also baby Claudette.
-
My friend actually had the same idea last night. She wants them to make Head On give a passive benefit: you cant be grabbed while speed exiting a locker regardless of exhaustion or not. Like how Balanced Landing has the passive stagger reduction
-
Not really a "bug" per se. But yeah too close to hook and they get basically i-frames during animations. Just make sure to not be right on top of a hook when you get downed
-
Definitely over $200 in the course of like a year. I wouldn't be surprised if it's over $300 since I bought the game and all of the DLC for myself, and most of the DLC for my best friend. And usually when I buy cosmetics I double down for me and her.
I...really don't want to add up my purchase history.
EDIT: I added it up. $439.36
...............groovy

Silent Bell Wraith with All-Seeing Blood is nasty on Lerys as well.
Pair it with Sloppy and Surveillance for hit and run and it's really fun.
-
What, reset progress if you leave it? Dude lol. But EGC is already quite Killer sided.
And no, the main goal of it was to end game hostage and hatch standoffs. It does its job, Killer just needs to activate it if survivors are playing around it.
-
No. 99 is fine and you can go open them yourself if you want the EGC to start.
-
The vault speed nerf never did make that much sense to me. So what if he can speed vault it? They can't down you with Frenzy...cool down addons? Stun is still too long and Survivor can go for another loop. Not like even getting hit with Frenzy is that threatening anyway
-
So what would you replace it with? The survivor just dropping dead? Animation is fine and the timer is pretty short. Just be patient
-
Adrenaline really isn't an issue and shouldn't be brought up in place of core issues with the game and other perks. Aren't they already looking into nerfing insta-heals? It was my understanding that Adrenaline would also be affected by that.
-
I main and have the most fun with Wraith, specifically hit-and-run with Sloppy and Surveillance as the core of the build.
Silent bell or bone clapper with purple all seeing. Best on Lerys, it's so fun

I agree that as the game releasesmore survivors and killers it seems ridiculous. We need a better way to accrue more blood points. Maybe prestige get also adds, 10/20/30% more bloodpoints earned when playing this character that go over the current cap?
maybe we can get more then three rituals, but 6, and it’s always 3 survivor and 3 killer rituals available?
we could double the cap in each category
maybe assign a final guy/girl if the day and they can earn double blood points
there are are a lot of ways to expand it and I hope we get one soon.
I actually really like that final guy/girl suggestion. Suits the horror genre perfectly.

They've said plenty of times that they're waiting for dedicated servers. Even the May Dev update said they were lenient for dc's because of how often it was the game's fault and not intentional.
Since they fixed most crashes, they said they lowered the threshold back to what it used to be. That's all they can do right now until dedicated.
-
That's exactly it. They get salty, assume they're against swf, or otherwise just want to stick it to the survivors.
It doesn't make sense because it really isn't rational
EDIT: typo
-
It's not a good comparison but both of them are bad. For me it tends to be more likely to happen the more streamers are played. It's just a big middle finger really.
The life of a party streamer is hard.
-
THIS. It's so jarring and none of my friends played Trapper since before the blood hunt. Has to be a bug
-
Clown for me but mostly because I tend to get jerks
-
Yes but Doctor honestly needs it and it's one of the main reasons Madness is better than Deep Wounds. Sure it can't down you, but it does prevent items and repairs, buying time. Good tracking depending on the addons as well.
-
That coveted 4k feels great to get but it really isn't the most important thing in the world. Does it suck when you do really well and the last survivor gets the hatch? Absolutely.
But if you dominated the game that hard, I think it's best to just move on anyway. Also makes sense to give the last survivor hope, seeing as the Entity feeds off that and all.
-
Someone else said Legion wasn't the core of the issue with people dc'ing, and I agree with them. It's become a habit plus their favorite streamers have done / still do it.
People will dc for any reason under the sun, especially if it's a killer they don't like. Namely Nurse, Legion, and Doctor. Sometimes Freddy.
-
I agree that second chance perks are an issue but it really depends on the situation and level of coordination the survivors have. But that's a separate issue with that and the perks themselves, except Mettle.
Compared to the other perks, yeah Mettle is an issue.
-
No one should really be suffering. Right now we're talking about Borrowed Time, a perk that doesn't help the survivor running it whatsoever. It helps make sure the unhooked person isn't just tunneled to oblivion.
Camping and tunneling are legitimate strats. But Borrowed Time is a legitimate counter. You're even further punished if you tunnel through Borrowed Time and they have DS. Both of these perks are prevented by not tunneling and going after the savior or applying pressure to the others.
Fun is important in this game, but so are counters to something both sides do.

And that would be fine if everyone played solo like was originally intended with the game. But with SWF these kinds of perks can break the game.
Ah, time to point fingers at SWF. Alright, even with SWF Borrowed Time is usually necessary to save the survivor being camped. SWF can easily get those gens done and 3 escape but what about the camped survivor? Should they just be done as soon as its their first hook? Borrowed Time is fine.
Also usually you can use SWF altruism against them, especially if they do have BT. A lot of them will trade places on that hook.

The solution to heavy camping and tunneling is to get the gens done and leave.
Yes doing gens is usually the best way to counter heavy camping but let's assume everyone is solo and there is no kindred. Most likely not everyone would be doing gens so Borrowed Time is there as a perk slot to COUNTER that. And if BT is such an issue, attack the savior. Don't tunnel.
-
No. You're not entitled to leaving a game just because you don't like the killer you're about to face. Legion? Nurse? Doctor? These "unfun" killers get a lot of people to dc just because they can and it's hands down the worst part of this game.
And no, being able to blacklist killers from your queue will never happen
-
Mettle is really the only "free" second chance perk here. DS is absolutely fine and has counterplay. Borrowed Time is essential against heavy camping and tunneling. Dead Hard can be baited plus exhaustion addons are a thing.
-
Yes this is bannable but you should just report it in the correct way instead of also posting here with their names. I'd blur them out, at least.
But yes, this sucks
-
I see no issue in this, especially since it's been happening for fear of Bloodwarden anyway. Survivors are just adapting.
-
That was the first thing I noticed with this update (haven't touched it since before the the end of the bloodhunt). I was like what o_o.
But I fiddled around. First thing I tried was turning off auto-adjust and yeah it worked. Weird.
-
Again, events or party streamers doesn't mean people have to play differently than they normally would. Does it suck? It does, especially with streamer stacking. But it is what it is.
I just wish people wouldn't be even more toxic and entitled during these events
-
I don't cleanse either unless others do it or she has an apple. Once she gets her corrupt purge, she can very easily snowball from there. That's why it really sucks seeing teammates cleanse before they're even broken and then do something and get sick immediately after...
-
It sucks when your Streamers get wasted (I've stopped using them. Every time I do, it's a 2-3 man lobby and killer goes try hard). But you can't expect everyone to play differently just because you played BPS. That's the risk you take
-
My favorites are Legion and Jane.
It's great that Clown is finally getting a new skin though. I don't even play him but he needs a lot more
-
Yeah I'm actually not sure which one takes effect first. I'd imagine Tinkerer is the same way. The terror radius being set to 0 probably takes priority but I'll test it when I get home
-
According to the wiki, Dark Devotion causes your victim to emit a 32 meter terror radius for 20 seconds, and reduces yours to 0. Monitor and Abuse effects YOUR terror radius so I don't think it'll translate to the survivor.
Good question though. It's very interesting how all the terror radius perks would interact with Dark Devotion (and each other)
-
The most saboing I see nowadays are solo players 99'ing a couple hooks or saboing a hook someone else is being chased at in the chance you down them, barely any different than any other type of save.
True sabo squads are extremely rare and Franklin's works wonders. You probably don't want to see a 4 man toolbox lobby regardless
-
Yes it will, it just takes longer for it to reach a mend time of 2 years. Filthy Blade alone takes around 4 or 5 frenzy hits before it gets unbearable
-
Yes
-
1) Pins reduce the amount of your Frenzy gauge lost when you do a successful m1, I think.
2) Cool down reduction reduces your fatigue after Frenzy ends. Useful for bodyblocking. Doesn't affect recharge time.
3) Recharge time. Your Frenzy gauge will just refill quicker.
4) Blades increase the time it takes to complete Mending. They're currently bugged though and seem to stack endlessly per Frenzy hit.
-
Would sacrificing a perk slot for survivors -missing skillchecks- actually be too powerful? To me it sounds weak because this would be a perk that relies on survivors making mistakes. I could only see it on Doctor and Freddy and even then...meh?
But I like Bitter Murmur
-
I'd either remove the timer or make it a token system yeah. Tokens would probably be best.
-
I hit one guy, entire team dc's. Like yeah, whatever. Make another lobby, got same two people from last game. Starts, I couldn't even apply Deep Wounds this time because Claudette dc'd on a roof in Haddonfield when she saw me.
I waited a little bit before making another game but lo and behold I got the same two AGAIN (prob swf) and I actually took off all my perks and addons because guess what? They dc'd again. Dc'd against a naked Legion
-
Megan :3
-
I guess the nicest thing I've done once was as Doctor. I killed two people early (on Yamaoka) and hooked Nea. This Meg was going to let her die on first hook for the hatch; I ended up finding her and chased her back to the hook, farmed Nea but then I kept dropping her till she wiggled so that she can finish up gens. Meanwhile Meg was locker hopping and I finally found and killed her and let Nea go.
I also generally let people who were farmed in my face go / punish the farmer
-
Few things annoy me more in this game than bs hits over windows. I'm with you in that it's a pretty big issue, but I'm also sure a lot of those hits are thanks to latency. Hopefully dedicated fixes most of these.
-
Yeah pretty sure last double BP event was back in December. We're pretty overdue one XD
-
As others said, these are just poorly designed with no real way of salvaging them. Hatch standoff needs to be targeted directly and as for blocking off pallets just by walking through them...that does more than counter looping. It kills it.
-
I really like this idea. As it is right now, it's just impossible for a survivor to realistically do everything in one match. Ideas like this / "bleed over (Like once you get max BP or emblem points, it gives a little progress to others)" effects are getting tossed around here and there and I really would like to see it explored more.
EDIT: I've always felt Lightbringer and Altruism should've been team emblems anyway. Evader and Unbroken are kind of personal.
