But the exploit where the Killer disconnects and the Survivors are the ones who get shafted will be removed with dedicated servers.
You mean the visual bug? (never noticed an exploit on PC)
Well that would be quite optimistic, but maybe that bug gets fixed.... it has nothing to do with dedicated/p2p though^^No, there's an actual exploit on console.
Ok thats a console specific thing then, but I doubt its a p2p issue since PC doesnt have that exploit.
Supposedly it exists on PC as well, but it's done differently.
It does exist on pc but thankfully most killers don't know how to do it, although there's a rare bug or the exploit where you still get depipped.

Yeah the only way survivors can fight back!! /..... like screw the fact that survivors can loop and have stealth play options and other means to go against the killer... DS has to be how it is with no counter play or requirement to because survivors dont wanna think while playing they just want everything given to them...
I think that claim about every killer is vastly overused the same as every survivor runs DS/DH/AD. and DS does need an adjustment to not be so strong.

Try resetting your router but also making sure your drivers and Windows updates if using that are current. Are you on a laptop or pc or console.
What type of video card if pc and system specs etc and if you're using an Nvidia card make sure that's up to date asap.

So you are saying let it just leave here tho it's basically a cheating and it ruins other ppl's gaming experience just cus lots ppl plays as party? lol. that's just dumb. Why don't you just allow blood point save hack too? since lots ppl who got banned cus of it will return to the game once they do?
You do realize how foolish both of those arguments are right because those are completely illogical and nonsensical.
You run a business that caters to a large amount of people but most of your people like to buy a certain product. You in your infinite wisdom decide that that's not what you're going to carry anymore because you don't like their choice.
So you stop carrying it and you suddenly lose the majority of your customers and then your business goes under all because you stopped carrying what your customers like.
Now the whole it's cheating nonse, it's not cheating despite what you claim, that's your pinion and your opinion only. Which by the way means it's just your opinion and thus doesn't make it a fact, what is a fact is that the devs have said it's not cheating.
Now blood point hack was modifying the actual game files which is of course a hack aka cheating, you know similar to speed hacks, multi hacks etc. Those are actually defined as cheating and thus are against the rules you know like the TOS/EULA.
From the TOS these are things that're against the rules.
Modify any part of the BHVR Services that BHVR does not specifically authorize you to modify. Aka cheating/hacking

So how is that any different from any other online game then, everyone new doesn't know how to play so they learn. They ask questions or they ask their friends that play or they check the wiki/Reddit or they just ask Google.

There are far worse things in the game.
I've never been grabbed by her unless I'm trying to finish that last 1%and like you said paying attention is key to facing her. In that sense she's like both Wraith and Pig and yes Myers coming up and stalking you 1 second and hitting Evil II is just plain wrong.

Yes remove the majority of the playerbase from the game, then when they all leave you won't have a game anymore to complain about. While we're at it take out playing with your friends in every online game I'm sure those companies will all manage to do quite well.

Always funny seeing the pics where new killers are upset that some swf sneaked in red ranks so they can loop the guy for 5 gens and bully him while the rest do gens.Wheres the fun in even playing like that?
Yes because everyone is a red rank that joins just to bully the killer and loop them for 5 gens nonsense again. If you're getting looped for 5 gens that's your fault for being looped for 5 gens instead of going after someone else.
There's a saying that Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results as in if you're getting looped that long that's insanity in action.
That's like posting complete nonsense that's a complete fallacy that you know isn't true all in the hope it makes your argument look better.
-
It's only holding the game hostage if they're the last survivor left in the game since at that point they're just trying to be toxic over it. I actually had a game where the killer wouldn't hook me at all for over 15 minutes, they'd let me wiggle out chase me and down me then pick me up.
But for the situation you described @Crusader it's borderline exploitative and definitely a dick move on their part and i've had killers do the same thing. I run premonition when solo since it's great for that stuff and I've had killers get pissed as well as survivors because i wouldn't take the bait.
Now if the killer repeatedly picks them up and drops them waiting for you while standing over them that's definitely borderline as well.

Don't forget, if they're using OoO to spy on you and relaying it to others, once they die they'll be telling their teammates your perk build, offering, and add-ons.Gee it's almost as if they can't do that already, and the devs are going to change that so end game perks won't show.
I'm just saying, there's more than one way to spy on the killer, and tunneling and sacrificing them first is trading one way of spying on you for another. It's just a no-win situation.
So as an example of how flawed that argument is, you're a killer and you're running dying light. The obsession is part of a SWF group 2,3 or 4 group size. They know they're the obsession and thus you'll be after them since that's what killers tend to do.
You as the killer want to tunnel the living daylights out of the obsession because Dying Light needs the obsession to die early. Now notice the similarities between the 2 perks, both are focusing on 1 survivor dying quickly.
So the person running Ooo is easy prey because guess what you can see them as well, you hook them someone unhooks them. Well if you're far enough away no problem you pretty much know where they're going to be.
If they hook too close well guess what you're that much closer to where you know they're likely to be and given most swf will unhook before it's safe. That means you've got an easier time of tunneling that obsession and sacrificing them.
Now since the survivors will assume you're running Dying Light or some other evil end game perk that'd be detrimental to them they'll leave the gens and try and save the Obsession. You can easily smack the others perhaps even hook 1 all while going for your main prey the obsession.
The only no win situations are the ones you create yourself since if you going into a match expecting to lose, guess what you'll lose somehow. You'll of course blame it on the swf boogeyman, they used Sc/AD/DH/DS insert w/e other excuse you want to use.
It won't matter that you made mistakes at all during the match, chased a good looper instead of going for someone else. You respected a pallet thus keeping it safe for later use, didn't take the correct angle to cut them off from the loop/vault spot etc.

Which means I need to throw the game by waiting near enough the hook that I can camp/tunnel while they do gens.
Or I could leave them on the hook and chase others, at which point the obsession could give their friends a heads up on where I'm heading and when I'm far enough for them to safely unhook.
How about you stop trying to defend every broken thing and start looking for balance?
SWF shouldn't be able to use OoO. It's exploited. Is it in the game? Yes. However is voice communication in the game? No,no it's not. By definition using a third party program to gain an advantage is an exploit. So while you say they accounted for SWF, they've never actually made voice communication a thing.
The thing is though I'm not asking for them to get rid of swf and voice comms. I get that it's unbalanced but its always going to be there.
All I'm asking for is to stop swf on voice comms using this one specific perk because it basically gives the group wallhacks.
Bottom line you're going to keep making excuses and tossing insults instead of addressing the main problem which is you. You seem to magically have this issue that you're unable to adapt while most everyone else can and can learn.
You on the other hand is it's always an excuse of some kind, it's cheating, it's imbalanced, it's not fair, it's not my fault I played badly. I shouldn't have to try, i shouldn't have to adapt/learn, the survivors should just let me hook them and not try.
Also the devs have said voice chat while not intended tot eh extent it's used ISN'T AN EXPLOIT NOR IS IT CHEATING. It doesn't matter what you or anyone else's opinion on it is, the devs make the rules and have said it's not against the rules.
So you can either act like a responsible person and stop making excuses and blaming everything else or keep losing games. You make a new thread each day or several complaining about something different that's the reason you're losing games, now it's Object of Obsession.
What is the next one going to be about, that the map rng isn't to your favor, that people using Self Care is the reason you're losing. Lets see what else you'll use that the basement is too easy to get out of, that survivors shouldn't ever get to escape.
The only know it all here right now is you since you seem to know all about tossing insults and ignoring any and all advice that would make you be able to play better.

You are right about this topic.
OoO+voice com is basically cheating and should get addressed, no matter how low the percentage of that combo is.Again with the cheating nonsense it's not cheating unless the devs say it's cheating that a fact no matter what anyone's opinion on the matter may be. so unless and until they say it's cheating it's not cheating.
There's also a simple solution if you have a problem with someone running the perk which is very simple. You sacrifice them thus removing your problem.

edit: dont forget how survive with friends get abused to stomp killers who have just started the game, imgaine pre "rework" trapper facing 1 rank 20 teamed up with 3 red ranks, will this player improve? have fun? or just leave
Yes because everyone plays SWF to abuse the killer, that's one of the more nonsensical arguments out there. Most people play games with their friends to have fun, you know relax enjoy some beers while playing if old enough etc.
calling dbd competative is like taking a participation badge as a trophy due to monthly rank resets.
beeing a fan of the horror genere is one thing but lets be honest here. where is the horror? where is the "imersion"The horror is when a Myers sneaks up on you and jumpscares you, when the Nurse blinks right to you, when the Spirit phases and grabs you off the gen. The horror is when a Hag mori's you, when you're about to get out but NOED procs and you get downed at the exit gate and get sac'd.

See I would like for solo players to have equal power to SWF.... but how though? You see unless they separate solo from SWF I don't see this happening because when they buff solo they SWF...
Literaly the only thing that separate solo and swf from being equal is that swf rhyme with voice chat.
Making perk baseline to try to close the gap is ridiculous and a huge waste of time since simply adding voice com between the survivor will give the same potential to solo and swf
Like Marie-Antoinette once said "Let them have voice com"
People won't use solo voice chat because they don't want to have to listen to some 12 year old raging at them.

What they've said they want to do is buff solo to swf level information wise basically a base Bond kit for solo players. That would bring them up to the information level other than totems which a totem counter could be given to them.
Once they're at the same level information wise they can then buff all killers to face that level.

Not to mention the people from rank 2 and 3 that plays with friends with ranks way lower just because they cant handle the killer of their own ranks.
Is frustrating to play with survivor friends both as a killer and as survivor.
Unless the other side agrees, real gamers play solo.
If killer could choose, they'd never go against SWF.
It needs some think to make it ok, for example: he could get a % bonus at bloodpoints. Risk vs reward.
This is something a lot of people would like to see on both sides a bonus x % multiplier where x is the number of SWF players in your lobby. You'd not know until post game what the size/bonus was so that that way you still don't simply dodge.
You could also have an opt in option to face a higher % of swf groups which would give you bonus blood points for queueing up to a harder group.
-
@Rebel_Raven said:
**Yeah. SWF isn't going anywhere. It's basically vital to any online game. **That doesn't mean it's not a means to break this game.
That also doesn't mean we can't have a decent dodge method, either filters or labels.
At the very least, compensate the killer for going against people harder than they should be at the rank, and/or make SWFs match make against higher ranked killers than usual.
The bolded part will never get through to the people that want an easier game or that removing SWF would kill the game.
Dodging would just be used as an excuse like always hey I don't like the character choice dodge, they brought a flashlight dodge etc.
The bloodpoit bonus is something that should be added with a x multiplier number at the bonus screen. They also need to match to the highest ranked player more. So if you have a rank 1 player and 3 rank 17'-20's you get at least a rank 8 or so killer.

COD/WOW/etc etc etc your histrionics and logical fallacies and just plain bad logic all fail spectacularly, SWF isn't cheat since it was always an intended feature of the game. The devs have stated it's not cheating, they've also stated things killers do are legit.
So no matter what you say, how you word it, how you deflect, distort, twist. etc etc etc it won't change the simple fact that SWF isn't cheating.
The perk is in the game and if you have an issue with someone using it then SACRIFICE THEM.
If you've got a problem with it there's a simple solution. YOU KILL THE OBSESSION.
How hard is that to understand that if you've got a problem with a survivor you ensure they die. It's not like killers don't run DYING LIGHT and focus the obsession down.
So since killers that run DYING LIGHT already focus the obsession down to ensure they die you as a killer can focus the obsession down to ensure they die.

It's not, and you know it. In my experience, Survivor exploits spread and are reported by Killers, whereas Killer exploits are reported by both sides. Both are abused, mind you, but Survivors finding and abusing exploits occurs far more often than Killers doing the same thing. There are exceptions, as with all things.
Well of course there's more survivors doing it since common sense dictates that there's more of them to do so. If there's 4 survivors to every 1 killer in a match then that's 4x the chances of it being exploited compared to 1.
You can't say that 1 side doesn't report it's own since that's completely false and you know it since I see survivor posts about this stuff. Both sides do it, both sides report it and both sides have their idiots with the side having more players having more.
Lets not pretend that killers are somehow angels in all this since they're most certainly not, on both sides the small % makes each side look bad. Because as with the Tinkerer bug it was a survivors that reported it not killers. Those same killers then all suddenly started exploiting it until the devs started banning people.
As far as survivor side exploits i've been paying attention and trying to report any I see and if I get a map tile with a known location i start a video to send in.

Not every SWF is skilled tho.
A reallly skilled SWF will beat any killer (besides) nurse without any counter play.Yet people manage to beat those teams with killers besides those 2.
Games of the length of 4 minutes with insta heal and decisive strike + communication are not winnable without a nurse.
Ok here goes the new timer excuse so to speak before it was games were under 3 minutes and you put in an artificial timer to bolster your argument. Throw out the fake determined timer nonsense along with the predetermined loadouts.
I've destroyed 4 insta heals/DS/DH/SC/AD SWF teams before because I didn't play how they wanted me too. I played according to how I wanted to and and took advantage of their teamwork and assumptions on how I'd play.
Oh sure i've gotten my butt kicked as well by those teams but those were more foten me playing poorly and not taking advantage of their mistakes.
>Survivors HAVE to mess up in the first place in order for a killer to get a down.
Yes and no since you as a killer can force mistakes and not depend on them doing something stupid. If you're constantly being reactionary waiting for them to screw up you're gong to lose every time.
Otherwise they can loop you for atleast 3-4 minutes if they use all the pallets + windows effectively and guess how long gens take?
If they're looping you for that long you deserve to lose plain and simple.
There are games where however you good you play you only get 0-1 kills out of it and in the end chat get flamed and insulted.
There's games where you 4k and get flamed and insulted and there's games where you have scores all over the place and get a gg.
Of course, the main problem isn't SWF, but gen rushing and the capability of survivors finishing rounds, within 3-4 minutes, if skilled enough. (with the usage of overpowered perks)
Oh good grief just stop already, as I said earlier the 3 minute excuse got overused so now it's the 4 minute excuse. If you're losing games in under 4 minutes so often it's not SWF that's the problem it's you.
Marth88 already made 2 "experiments" where it shows how unbalanced playing killer really is, the devs just answered with "We never said it's balanced".
Yes 4 pro caliber players I.E. the top 0.1% of the player base went up against random killers including ones doing dailies on killers they don't know how to play. Yeah that's a legitimate experiment alright and given all the talk about how rank in meaningless since it's super easy to rank up.
If you really wanted that to be considered valid where's the controls, where's the stuff to keep out confirmation bias, Why not choose 4 random players with around 500 hours each or so which would probably be the average player base.
Then put those 4 together and have them do that experiment, the results would be vastly different but much more realistic. They'd also be much more representative of the overall player base..
I don't know how people even imply the game is balanced.
Most of us acknowledge that the game needs more balancing but we don't use all the excuses in the book and blame swf for everything. I think that if a solo lobby was created and you lot were all stuck there forever without ever being able to leave.
That nothing at all would change you'd just come up with some new excuse or complaint or you'd simply blame swf sneaking into your solo lobbies.

I feel like the forums have started to run out of things to complain about..We have lots to complain about, especially when they keep taking what we say with "a grain of salt", or twist what we say to be something different, or simply just dismisses it.
I don't think they read the forums mate sadly
Thats what they say they do, in case you didn't know, besides - how can they they answer a few few questions on the the Q&A devstreams every now and then if they don't read the forums? They do read the forums, problem is, that they take what we write with "a grain of salt" - thats been said on several devstreams now. It's also been said that they do sometimes use what we suggest, but with their twist on it (because apparently they think they know better than the majority of the community who participate in the PTBs). Other times they're completely dismissing our concerns, feedback and so on, certain devs that is, which happen to be those who have the authority make decisions for the game.
Well you do realize that they've got data we can't see and have almost always tested out all these great ideas we come up with. While ignoring all the people they bring in from outside that have already most likely suggested said ideas and been tested.
The I know better than them because i've tested it is a illogical argument because you've tested something for 1-2 whole weeks and think you know better. This was being worked on and tested internally for months before you even got a look at it.
They read every response, and they take concerns into it, but if an idea is stupid, or won't work for w/e reason etc they're not going to adopt it. As far as taking what's said with a grain of salt of course they're going to do that otherwise certain segments of the community will use that to start flame wars.
You only have to look here, Reddit, Steam forums etc to see all the nonsense started by some on ehre over what's been said or how they've responded.

Got an example of these killers using both sides of the argument to their favor?
And I'm sure your using the tactic in the debate is working just as well on others as it works on you.The examples are all over the forum and you've commented in enough of the threads. also the tactic doesn't work on me so. I'm just pointing out how when the few killer mains on here use it and you don't call them on it.
I didn't miss that part at all. That's you "using both sides" to your favor as you say, I guess. If not the usual flip flopping.
No, I used the same logic the few killer mains on here used so no flip flopping and you're call me on using it yet stay silent about the others.
Here we go again. Helping people dodge SWFs will destroy the game!
But hey, maybe it won't and it'll just be the SWF dodgers that suffer?!
Flip flop again.Wrong again, notice how you keep missing what I've said, I even re-posted what i'd said and you still ignored it.
I'd like to believe my stance on SWF is pretty stable at least since it doesn't really seem that way in replies.
Ok thanks for the clarification it does get confusing sometimes when debates go back and forth in different threads especially.
Allow dodging via either filters or labels and/or make it worth putting up with them (I feel like we can at least agree on bonuses for going against them?) which, either way will help stamp out excuses to blame SWFs
Agreed and I've been arguing for bonus bp for the last 7+ months so killers get a benefit based upon size of group. Heck they could even base it on the highest ranked player(s) and award it post game.
when it was just 4 good players. I'd like to see those excuses gone, too. Less variables. And less variables means it's easier to see where you screwed up. Kinda like the NC nerfs so they can balance characters that usually rely on them with a clearer picture of weak points.
Was it indeed an SWF that did that well, or was it 4 non communicating players?
That's something I've been wanting to see and i posted about it in several other threads especially dealing with the latest devstream stats. Some of the more extreme survivor mains and I'm sure you know whom i'm talking about here. They made multiple threads and posts about how killers don't need buffs due to the survival rate being below 50%.
Now these are also some of the same ones asking for no nerf to DS and also saying buff sabo to pre nerf levels etc.
At the least seeing a bonus like "SWF x 2,3,4" popping up will work as a post game label. A killer that doesn't see that can't blame an SWF. The slim possibility of the survivors creating a party to chat (I get invites every so often to quasi SWF against killers, and I refuse) may exist, but it should help lower complaints against SWFs.
I'd love for it to be bonus bp and you get to see a x modifier like you said but it's an overall number and doesn't show who was who to prevent the excuses like you said. I've been in solo lobbies where all 4 join upwards of 15-30 or more apart and we destroy the killer.
I mean it looks like a depip squad experiment yet we're all solos and post game the swf excuse and insults comes up. It wasn't that the killer was just bad or that they played badly. No it couldn't have been that it had to be swf 4 man all DS/Sbo etc etc etc excuses.
Then again if SWFs are super common, as you say they are, super willing to be ruthless, and super willing to be toxic with less to no ability to dodge them (I.E. the new match making's camouflage) these people unhappy will continue to complain as they're expected to go from casual to MLG at the drop of a hat as they can't always detect the potential difficulty spikes.
But the toxicity isn't there as often as people say and I've never said that part is common and in fact have said the opposite. In fact Riot games and MIT did a study with controls and all to prove that the confirmation bias was there.
In every case the person said most of their games were toxic and when asked for examples of the games where chat was bad they were proven wrong. Most of the games were fine they just made a bad play or lost a close one etc and yet they tied that into a negative experience.
It was also a case of may'be a prior bad game made the next several games be remembered as being toxic when they weren't. They were even shown chat logs proving it wasn't toxic and in some case they'd been the toxic ones and thus got punished for it.
Here it's the same thing, we get the bad experiences combined with the good ones and we remember the bad ones more because of our biases.
Some people kinda hate that. Having to get sweaty on the fly. And if they don't, or can't go MLG then, well, they're going to get beaten down and probably walk out with, as it is, very poor amounts of blood points, and more motive to complain.
And lets not forget the game is still not balanced around SWFs. And may never be.Most people don't try to play sweaty on either side, most are just playing to have fun, they don't go into the game with the intent to bully the killer despite the false belief they do.
As far as balancing it's been aid countless time they want to buff solo up to SWF levels info wise then buff killers to match that. But the vocal minority here only sees survivor buffs and ignores the other part because they can't use swf as an excuse anymore if killers get buffed.
And you still have no apparent intent on trying to see things from the points of views of others. Everyone has your arsenal, hours, and experience, or better! People less prepared to deal with SWFs just don't exist!
I do but I also don't go for the entitlement of certain posters here who rant and rave and act like the game should revolve around them. I've also never said i've got an arsenal of hours and there's people with less experience than me and hours played.
They also don't have an issue with swf, why they adapt and take the challenge head on and learn from their mistakes. They don't make excuses for their bad plays, they don't blame their losses on them not capitalizing on survivors mistakes.
Then you've got the killers that've been here 2 +years and still dodge anything that looks like swf even though most of the time they're dodging non swf. They in fact want easier matches and if they see a lobby loadout they don't like they dodge and look for an easier lobby.
They then claim it's swf they're dodging but at other times admit flat out they just want easier matches against people newer to the game or not very good and below their skill level.
I mean you do host teaching games, don't you? Or was that someone else I was thinking about? Sorry if it's not you that said that they hosted teaching games.
I've hosted teaching games in kyf before for people I've met both on here and in game to show them tips and tricks for both sides.
You aughta know the less prepared exist. Especially since KYF wasn't mentioned meaning you get to see a spectrum of killers interact with the survivors you're teaching. Not being able to grasp what you no doubt see for yourself is baffling.
I do know which is why I've helped people in kill your friends and walked them through how to do things. I've also talked extensively to both sides post game on tips and tricks and how to do things.
I think the killer mains wanting an opt out need to be ready to accept responsibility if things don't go the way they think it will. If the majority of the player base is SWF and they stop playing because they either can't get lobbies or have to wait they'll simply stop playing all together.
Those are the people most likely to spend money on Auric Cells, Cosmetics etc and also the ones who's money helps pay for those dedicated servers and improvements. It's the old adage don't cut off the hand that feeds you.
The only way they should do a opt out is if you get stuck in it permanently unless you either buy a new copy or you pay a fee. That way you can't just hop into swef and troll/dodge because you won't like the challenge, can't break that bad habit etc.

Survivors this patch....
Don;t you mean killers this patch or just you and the vocal minority where everything is a killer nerf even if it isn't.
If you were depending on Nurses on Doc and Freddy you're playing them wrong horribly since there's way better perks.
No one worth their salt would heal effect within Doctors or Freddys Terror radius and if they did they were baiting or just bad.
Always funny when you say theres been a better way to play anyway. You cant twist it, it is a nerf to an already weak killer. There is no other way to put it.
oh and btw, I consider nurses calling on doc quite goodAlways funny when you consider a killer weak just because you can't play them at Nurse level, you can't twist it that it's a nerf. When most ppl are snapping out of outside your terror radius because you know they know it's a healing effect.
Which means your NC is worthless or they know your back is turned to them while you chase someone else which again means your NC is worthless. Most doctors at high ranks never used it because they knew how easy it was to counter.
So because you consider it quite good that means it is, wasn't it you that said to someone else that they considered x perk quite good and you told them that was just their opinion.
Doc is kind of one of the weaker killers though.
Not only that but even if NC isn't good on Doc (I don't use him so I'm not sure) removing the interaction it had with Snap out of it is still a nerf to the Doctor. Not a huge one, but it is still a nerf.
Well played Doctors terrorize at rank 1 and I've never seen one use Nurses simply because it's not that great considering people are too smart to heal/snap out of it in his terror radius.
The only doctors i've seen run it are bad ones and usually all 4 people make it out since the Doctors depend on that perk so much they lose all other focus. Freddy no one would try and do a wake up in his terror radius since that's an easy 2nd person in the dream world.

Brutal Strength:This ones in a good place but what are the numbers for gen damage compared to now and how would this work with say Overcharge?
Sole Survivor:
How would the aura reading work with say Trappers traps, Scratched Mirror Myers or his tracking addons, Amanda's aura addon and Jigsaw Boxes addon. The Wraiths aura addon, Huntress aura addon on hits. Then there's also Bitter Murmur and Tinkerer.
Monstrous Hooks:
Your care to your hooks make them deadly to the touch; wounding every victim it touches. Survivors unhooked from the hook suffer from the broken status effect for 10/20/30 seconds and they will slightly/moderately/considerablely suffer from the pain status effect. Pain Status Effect:
The grunts of pain is probably a bit much since you could be on far side of map and say you're a Billy you'd be able to hear that person pretty much instantly. If they pause to heal well 1 or more are going right back on the hook.
If anything I'd make progression a bit faster and failed attempts penalty harsher with 2nd hooks both overall and on basement hooks harsher.
Play With Your Food:
The stacking Ms is fine but the up to 30% action speed is brutal if you combine it with say Fire Up/Brutal/Bamboozle/Relentless. Then throw in say Legion who'd basically become the new Nurse. IF you kept it 1% across the board for each token that'd make it good but not op.
Since your goal is to hook repeatedly and then at the end you go for the sacrifice.
Left Behind:
1st 2 tokens only change is make it 10 and 25% and for the 3rd token instead of BNP perhaps make it 50% faster so gen would take 40 seconds. That's not counting any great skill checks.
Thanatophobia:
This is a tricky one since if you combined it with say Coulrophobia for healing and or Dying Light it could be brokenly op and would end up getting instantly nerfed.
I'll come back to this one after dinner.
Hex (Huntress Lullaby):
This i could see getting nerfed pretty quickly especially if you combined it with Monitor and Abuse and you'd become a ranged Myers at that point.
I'd change it to the 3/4/5 tokens but make each token give 1/3/6/9/12% reduced terror radius which is still pretty brutal if running M&A.
Hex (The Third Seal):
So basically like a fog/haze effect but I wonder what this would do to colorblind people though since you'd basically make their whole screen the same color of hazy white so to speak. The aura reading is fine but perhaps make it the furthest part of each distance tier is the more hazy.
Think of it this way if you're on say Macmillan Estates or Autohaven and look across the map it's hazy in the farthest corners of the map. It could work the same way but on small maps like say haddonfield it'd be a royal pain since you'd basically blind half the map.
Fire Up:
This is completely broken since no one would ever want to be the one that completed a generator, throw in a Tinkerer user/Bitter Murmur with say Nurse/Billy/Spirit. You could lower that to 2/4/6 seconds but even then the high mobility killers would have it easy.
Doomed Status Effect:
This is a free Rancor/Mori without having to use either one and instead the last person should have the exposed status effect. The mori effect can only be applied during the next 15 seconds after which they still retain the exposed status effect.
No Mither:
Shards might be a bit much since it's supposed to be risking yourself for bp so instead I'd go a different route to make it a real risk reward. You have the exposed effect the entire game but don't start the trial with the injured effect. Once you're downed then the No Mither effect is shown to everyone and the killer knows you're running it.
Now here's the big change, you'd make it like WGLF but instead it'd be stackable across all categories including Boldness so you're tempted to be in the killers terror radius. Do you take a chance and get chased for those extra juicy Boldness points up to 100% bonus?
How about going for that rescue when the killer is close knowing you're going to probably be on that very same hook shortly. This would really encourage a high risk high reward playstyle for running it. It wouldn't be for the faint of heart and it'd reward you for really taking risks.

You aren't going to have your cake and eat it, too. While we're at it:

or
SWFs are a challengepick one.
It seems like every time, you're just contradicting yourself in blindly defending SWFs, pretending they're perfect, and can do no wrong.
You keep normalizing your experiences to everyone else's and refuse to put yourself in anyone else's shoes. That really kinda takes the winds out of your sails on these tirades.I'm using the same logic most of the vocal minority killer mains use which is use both sides of the argument to my favor.
You also missed where I very clearly said "It might actually not be as bad as feared"
In either case the biggest losers are still going to be either just you and the rest of the vocal minority or the entire community because most of the player base leaves.
But hey you'll never have to worry about swf ever again, oh sure you're lobby times will either be insane or you won't have a lobby.

@Boss said:
I myself wouldn't really mind if they were to strip the Killer of the ability to see Items, Survivors or both at the lobby.
But it's there for a reason. And the reason is obviously to be able to see what you're gonna fight and respond to it by changing your equipment if you so desire.
While quitting when you see something you dislike is definitely not something i support, last-second-switching to remove a feature the Killer has feels more scummy to me.Agreed, the only thing that should be seen is names and perhaps outfit colors although that'd mean you could get 4 P3 Claudettes and not realize it. But the names shouldn't be shown because so much lobby dodging goes on with profile checking.

@Incarnate said:
In my opinion - what you've selected should be locked the moment you click ready. The only drawback is when someone leaves and the timer resets which sucks because say there's 2 TB's and yours is one of them a 3rd person joins with a TB. Now usually the killer instantly dodges when that happens i simply just take mine off so it's back to 2.
If anything the timer should lock in at 15 seconds for survivors and no changes after that and then the killer has 10 seconds before being locked in at 5 seconds. That way there's none of this last second switching nonsense.
Oh sure even with this there'll be some but with 10 seconds for the killer to prepare if they need to it won't matter really.

Funny when people claim SWFs are easy.
But when you suggest a way to filter them out these people will also often say you don't want the challenge.
That if we filtered them out, that it would destroy our community.
That no one would play them even with so many people claiming never to dodge. If SWFs were easy, if they weren't toxic, we would not want them filtered out of our lobbies, would we? I mean if SWF difficulty, and manners were in line with 4 solos, there wouldn't be an issue, would there?
But SWFs just had to start using game breaking strats.
And just had to get toxic because those strats made their game so easy. Most killers seem to have no issue with SWF and fin them relatively easy because we don't dodge them and we use their teamwork against them.
You don't want the challenge else why would you want the filter?
You'd split off a huge part of the playerbase just to please a vocal minority and the ones hurt would be the majority of the player base that plays for fun. You know the majority of the player base that's swf that keeps this game going.
So go ahead and destroy the game just to please yourself, when people stop playing the game and stop buying it oh sure you'll feel great you stopped the swf menace. But hey you'll have a company in financial ruin that won't survive like F13 and Death Garden.
Then you'll never have to ever worry about facing swf in your lobbies ever again because you won't have a game anymore because you drove all those players away.
I'd have no issue playing SWF if you vocal minority got forever stuck in a solo only lobby and could never ever come back. My lobbies would be insanely fast as would the others that've stated we don't have an issue with it because we don't cower in fear of swf.
It might actually not be as bad as feared, at least for the killers that stayed since we could get steamrolled and in those magical 3 minute matches that you all seem to magically believe happen every match. But even if it did happen we'd be rolling in bp non stop while you lot would be fighting over the small amount of people that'd play solo only.
If I ever win the lottery big time I'd pay BHVR good money just to have them set up a solo only lobby system and then give you lot the choice. You'd get your solo lobby only system but you'd have to agree to be stuck there forever and could never queue up as a killer for anything but solo lobbies.
Oh your lobby wait times are too long oh well you got what you asked for and now that you got it don't like it and want to queue up for swf. Well too bad you don't get to versus them anymore nor dodge them just to lobby shop. You're stuck in solo lobbies only forever unless you buy another copy of the game, because you got what you asked for.
But every time I've suggested something like this I've gotten the usual hem and hawing like well we shouldn't have to be forced into that. Well that's what you wanted isn't it, you want a solo only lobby, but yes that's what we want but we want to be able to versus swf when lobby times are too long.

Further, the depip squad was able to take out killers of equal skill consistently. You are skirting around admitting that SWF holds a proven and distinct advantage over the killer.
1.This has already been debunked since 1 When a baby killer is doing a daily ona kille they don't know how to play it isn't comparable skill.
What are you smoking and where can I get some because if you think that 4 pro caliber players each with several k hours of playing. Because how non pro caliber players of most definitely non equal skill are definitely not comparable skill.
See the 2 above which by using sucha flawed metric of course SFW has a proven advantage over killers. But for the most part yes swf has advantages but most swf are overly altruistic as well. The super smart swat teams are a rarity and can still be beaten by smart killers.
Do you get your but kicked by swf yes, but on average you'll win more than you lose if you play properly and learn from your mistakes. If the latest dev stats are correct survival rate is below 50% which includes swf so that means some killers are playing right.
As far as coin tosses go well gee that happens on the survivor side as well even with communication is it a really good player that's going to outsmart us. Is it a dumb killer that we can outsmart, do they have NOED, do they have Insidious and are going to simply camp 1 exit gate?

All these other ones you refer to all have MASSIVE player bases to them.
The devs said that ten million people have played the game so far.
Yes and how many those are from FTP events, probably a huge portion so that number is inflated and not really relevant to the discussion at hand. League of Legends is FTP, OVerwatch has inflated numbers every time they've got a free event.
