I don't care what the devs said about SWF to majority killers it goes without saying that using voice coms in a match as survivor is flat out cheating point blank period end of discussion.

It is very unfair especially when used to troll and bully the killer.

    Trapper:

    • • As always, put bear traps after vault points, pallets and doorways. Pallets especially. Survivors love to get a stun in before running from you to get some distance, but vault points are important for this too. Pallet loops are the main way high ranking survivors like to waste your time so others can fix gens. That's why trapping main pallet areas is a smart thing to do.
    • • Always try to put traps in tall grass. Unlike Pokemon, tall grass is your best friend as Trapper because survivors can't see traps as well in tall grass. Leaving your trap in the open is a good way for survivors to avoid your traps.
    • • Use certain maps to your advantage. Haddonfield is a good example. In Haddonfield, you have alleyways between buildings that survivors have to go through to get to other parts of the map. Put your traps in these alleyways because survivors sometimes HAVE to go through these chock-points because either your chasing them or they have to get to another part of the map. For the swamp put traps on all the entrances of the boat, that way survivors HAVE to wither step in or disarm your trap in order to do anything on the boats. For Lery's, since you don't have a lot of tall grass, put traps under windows so whenever a survivor is running from you they have a high likely chance of running into one of your traps. For Mother's Dwelling (Huntresses' map), trap the tall grass upstairs so when survivors try to go to the gen that always spawns there, they get a nasty surprise. For the Preschool, trap both entrance to the preschool so that, again, they have to deal wit your trap in order to move through the preschool which is a major foot traffic area for survivors. Also you can put a trap on one of the stairs for the basement so if you chase one of them down there, they'll run into your trap. For the game, trap the clean room where the yellow gen always spawns and trap any doorways/chock-points. I could go on but you get the point. Trap chock-points and high survivor foot traffic areas.

    Wraith:

    • • Don't always uncloak. If you find a survivor and as your uncloaking they either sprint burst away or vault through a window, STOP UNCLOAKING. Unless you have a add-on that makes you uncloak faster you'll just waste the speed benefit you get while cloaked. If they have a distance lead on you use your cloaked speed to catch back up to them. Then when your near them again uncloak. Another tip to add to this is scaring survivors away from gens. If you find a survivor/s doing a gen, ding your bell then stop uncloaking. What will happen is they'll run away and while invisible, you can kick the gen and then find them and chase them. Don't use this trick all the time though.
    • • Use the correct add-ons. The Wraith has some pretty good add-ons. The light burn resistance is a bad add-on so avoid that one if you can. The most important add-ons he has are uncloaking faster, a slight movement burst after uncloaking and seeing survivors auras. Running uncloaking faster and slight movement burst is a good combo because you'll waste no time uncloaking and the movement burst will guarantee a hit. The aura reveling add-on is good too because it is extremely good at finding survivors. Plus, the add-on basically has built in deerstalker, so when your down to two survivors, down one then search for the other so he/she can't get hatch. You'll find the down survivor easily because of your invisibility Bloodhound and your add-on.
    • • Use your body. While your invisible, you can use your body to block survivors into a corner or away from a pallet.

    Hillbilly:

    • • Use chainsaw for distance. I know this sounds pretty obvious but I can't stress it enough. Unless your on a map like Lery's or the Game, use your chainsaw to both get across the map and get used to the turning of your chainsaw.
    • • Don't use your chainsaw during pallet loops. I've seen it SO many times playing survivor. Hillbilly revs his chainsaw while the survivor runs around the loop knowing that the Hillbilly is slowed and the survivor can always go around a corner of the loop to avoid the chainsaw. Unless you have the insta-chainsaw add-ons, your just going to waste time.
    • • Use Overcharge or Surveillance. Majority of the time your going to sprint to a gen with your chainsaw and see a decent amount of progress on it. Your not going to be able to find the survivor and waste more time. With Overcharge, all you need to do is kick the gen and then sprint away. Odds are the survivor is going to fail the skill check when you sprint away. When this happens you can sprint back and catch the survivor. However, if your going against good survivors they'll be able to complete the skill check. That's when you use one of the worst perks in the game, Surveillance. I rarely use Surveillance, but if I do it's usually with Hillbilly. The one thing about Surveillance is that it has some of the same quality as Overcharge but sneakier. Once you kick the gen, immediately sprint away and watch the gen's gray aura. If you see it change after the few seconds you left, sprint back. The thing about survivors is once they don't hear your terror radius, they assume they're safe. Once you sprint away, they won't hear your terror radius, thus making them resume to repairing the gen.

    Nurse:

    • • Practice, Practice, Practice. Every pro killer can agree that the Nurse is the strongest killer in the game. Why? Because she can both ignore pallets and get to survivors much easier than most killers. The problem is that she is extremely hard to play. Survivors can counter her very easily by either running towards her while she is blinking or hide around a corner until she blinks and then hide around the other side of the corner. That's why you need to practice with her A LOT. You also must be very resilient if you want to play her. What I recommend is try playing her for one full day or night every once and a while. That way you can get to know her and get better.
    • • Know when to Blink. The Nurse, much like Hillbilly, is extremely good at getting across the map faster. Use this to always get to gens. But when you find a survivor, don't blink every chance you get. Like a said before survivors can abuse your blinks and avoid you. However, this doesn't mean don't blink at all. The best way to hit survivors is to blink and hit. Use your blink to get closer to them and then once you've blink within hitting distance swing at them but don't swing each time. If you swing after blinking and miss, your exhaustion time is much longer. Know when to strike and when it's best to do a safety blink right next to them.
    • • Be careful with add-ons. The Nurse add-ons are pretty normal. The problem is that they mess up your muscle memory. If you put different types of add-ons on every game you play, it's going to mess up the way you play. The best type of add-ons you can use are blinking range, lowering your exhaustion timer and how many blinks you have.

    Hag:

    • • Trap everywhere. Now that the Hag received an extreme buff to her setting speed, putting down traps isn't that much of a hassle. Much like Trapper, trap chock-points and survivor foot traffic areas. You have 10 traps. Use them.
    • • Counter pallet looping. Since the Hag can now put her traps down faster, she can counter pallet loops much like the Nurse. If a survivors is looping you, put your trap down on the near one of the sides of the pallet. So you can teleport next to them and hit them. Don't put the trap too close to the pallet. If you do, the survivor can still have that split second to get to the other side of the pallet and stun you. Put the trap somewhere around the loop. Anywhere works. If the survivor sees or hears you placing the trap, they'll run away to the next loop or window. Which is fine because you can catch them before they get to the next loop majority of the time.
    • • ALWAYS TRAP HOOKED SURVIVORS. Again, I feel like it shouldn't be said but I have to stress this. Putting your trap in front of hooked survivors both lets you teleport and either down the hooked survivor or pull the rescuing survivor off the hooked survivor. Plus, it wastes the rescuing survivors time because they need to crouch as not to get either of them killed.
    • • Trap basement/Try and hook survivors in basement. You'd be surprised how many survivors you can get by trapping the basement with one of your traps. Plus, if you hook a survivor in the basement, the best way to both catch the rescuing survivor or waste their time is put a trap in front of hooked survivor, one on the flat square on the staircase and one at the entrance of the basement. This has a high chance of catching the rescuing survivor and, if they catch on, wastes a lot of their time. Time that you can use to get back to the basement.
    • • Use add-ons. Ever since the Hag received a buff on her add-ons and her range, I fell in love with her again. Now her add-ons make her a lot more fun to play. Especially, if you double down on add-ons. For example, if you run 2 range add-ons, you can basically reach anywhere in the map without any cons of using the add-ons.
    • • Monitor and Abuse Perk. Since the Hag has a 24 meter terror radius, making it smaller throws survivors off. having a 18/17/16 meter terror radius makes finding survivors as easy as using Myers. Trust me it works.

    Doctor:

    • • Make them go mad. The Doctor is my favorite killer in the game. Although he's not the best, he does a damn good job of finding survivors. The number one thing I do with the doctor is get the survivor I'm chasing into Madness III. That way, once they get off the hook they can't self-care themselves until they cure themselves of Madness III. The rescuing survivor can heal them but the survivor still has to waste more time getting out of Madness III. Plus in Madness II they'll still have a rough time because of the random skill checks across the screen. Another good reason the get the survivor your chasing into Madness III once you find them is so that you know where they are if they lose you. And they can't use flashlights on you when your breaking a pallet.
    • • Built in Deerstalker. This is an excellent way to avoid the hatch game. When there are 2 survivors left, put one survivor into Madness III and then leave them on the ground. (Survivors can still receive Madness and scream in a dying state). Then search for the other survivor. If the other survivor heals the downed survivor or the survivor uses Unbreakable. Then down the again and look for the other survivor.
    • • Fear your terror radius. The best way to win as Doctor is have the right perks. Distressing is a must because it makes your terror radius/Treatment mode bigger. Plus, Doctor gets A LOT of Deviousness points and Distressing makes it even more. Unnerving Presence makes skill checks impossible for survivors because not only not only are skill checks shaky and on other parts of your screen, but now there smaller and they're is a higher chance of skill checks to pop up.
    • • Order Add-on. Order is my favorite add-on because it grants you a lot of free hits. Order makes fake pallets take the place of broken pallets. Making survivors you chase think their safe but they're not and you get a free hit. Plus it makes people Mad much faster which helps you overall.
    • • Don't stay in Treatment. In Treatment mode, you move slower than you usually do, which can give survivors a chance to get away from you. Only use Treatment mode to prevent survivors from vaulting/looping and when your close to them.
    • • Check lockers. Lockers are the one of the only ways for survivors to avoid your madness. If you think a survivors is nearby, don't be afraid to check the lockers. You'd be surprised how many survivors you find in lockers near generators.

Unfortunately, I ran out of space here to talk about the other killers so I have to make another post. If you have any questions or want to know more about a certain killer then ask me.

Its not that killers apprecciate the tips i do thanks .But most of the common killers in this forum at least know this. They complain not because they dont want to be better but it is because the killer has no actual power to stop the competent survivors unless they are nurse That the issue. Unfortunally

When a Survivor disconnects or doesn't load into a match, the Killer should not lose out on their BBQ stack. It is really stupid that Survivors can deny you at least 25% extra BP just because you managed to down them. This is something that should've been caught and fixed before the perk was released.

then its a guarranteed 100% BP in every game for example. Dont get me wrong that idea is fantastic but i wonder how it could be abused (by making the survivors DC intentionally for example).

I do agree though that chasing the killer and trying to make fun of it is pointless, survivors should focus on their tasks.

As a both main survivors scare me the most . I mostly lose because my team was bad for example and i had to use the hatch or i went with the ship. when the team is good its an easy game though.

Both killer dodging and survivor quick switch should be stopped. What I think would work is for killers once they enter a lobby they can't leave. When survivors enter they can't leave either and they are stuck with whatever build they have. The killer doesn't get a build lock as it lets them prepare for what the survivors are bringing in. 4 flashlights? Lightborn, toolboxes? Two anti gen perks. Done

Then we would need to have a ping filter though
Also a SWF filter would be necessary or killer will DC ingame as much as survivor currently do and I am not sure whether you want that

Then they should make the DC ban rate actually reasonable, and make it 10 or 5% DC rare. Not the absurd 80%; which no one can reach unless they literally rage quit hundreds of times

Have a counter or something that is visible and at 10 DC they cant play the game for 24 hours BUT have the DC counter reset each day( count ingame DCs for both sides and dont count lobby dodging (for the killer's sanity)) and have it be always be shown no matter what.

Something should be done about face camping, but this idea can probably be exploited or come off too strong. Honestly, if you affect their points and their pips, they'd probably slow down on the camps.

Also, camping is a weak and boring strat (tunneling is quite dumb, too). I think killers should get like style points (towards blood points and pips) for how they kill. Like they lose points if the method is easy (e.i. face camps, tunnels) and gain points for switching targets and not going back immediately. Camping really does ruin it for one side, though, and most of the time it isn't even deserved. It should be an active decision to punish at a cost rather than just be the easy way out. Also, more game modes would be fun. w

TL;DR version - "Killers playing efficiently is boring, and they should be punished for it."

10/10 Survivor logic right there. When can Survivors start being punished for working on generators that have already been partially repaired?

TL;DR - "Killers camping is lazy and you should get additional points for not afking in front of someone or for changing it up"

Didn't know people needed a tl;dr for a paragraph, but there you go. When I play killer, I don't camp or tunnel. It's more fun that way tbh. That way I don't feel like I'm targeting one person.

No, you literally said Killers should be punished for not playing how you believe is fun.

Just for the record, in case you didn't realize, this is a PvP game. The Killer is not there to amuse you; he's the opposing team.

Just for the record, in case you didn't realize, this is a PvP game. Meaning, you're not playing against robots. You cheat, it's wrong, right? Tunneling and camping makes the game an awful experience for everyone but the killer evidently. I personally find it boring, but you seem to like it. It sucks for survivors, though. Have some empathy. Survivors have the right to want to have fun in a game they've payed to play, too. Like I've said in other posts, I would be up for killers getting a massive buff if they could stop the camping and the tunneling. Make it viable to go after the healthy one, rather than the hurt one. Maybe patrol the gens instead of the one on the hook. Make the gens naturally go slower if the killer is nearby or something. This game takes both survivors and killers and just because you find it "fun" doesn't mean it's correct or "fun" for everyone. I'm sure the toxic survivors who say stuff like "EZ" and cuss you out for being bad or make fun of you also finds that fun, but that's not very nice. I'm sure the people who cheat also find that fun, but that isn't right.

I play survivor too. I am fine being camped because I know that my team can escape then
Only tunneling feels bad, but well.

As killer I wont tunnel survivors if the survivors dont tunnel gens. Thats only a fair compromise, do you agree?
If survivors tunnel gens however, they dont leave me enough time to 2 hook everyone before I start killing, so I switch my game strategy to tunneling in order to become more time efficient

I'm fine with camping on certain conditions. Otherwise, it annoys me. I dislike when it happens at the start of the match or before I get much points. I understand when it happens if someone's being toxic and they're camping for that, that's fine. The issue is that camping is quite easy and even rewarding. You may need to find someone first, but you can basically just afk around them and someone is likely going to try to go for the save. They want their points and their friend off the hook.

I don't mean to be rude, but is English your second language? I believe you mean to say "survivors rush gens" not tunnel. I can understand that sentiment and something should be done to make the process a bit more complex. Like, maybe having to fetch something for the generator, too. Gen rushing typically happens because of a lack of pressure on the field, but there's bound to be some off while you're chasing. If one doesn't camp, they'll switch targets to someone else and that's three people doing something else (assuming someone's going for the save). If you don't tunnel, you'll hopefully just get the current person you're chasing down. If you happen to run into the other person again, I don't really think that's tunneling unless you actually go out looking for them. I think that's kinda hard to say it happened for sure, though.

Yes english isnt my mother tongue, but I dare to say that im quite confident using it
Doesnt matter how you call it, genrush or tunneling gens (what does that have to do with english btw?)

    Look at it analytically:
As killer it is called tunneling when you proceed completing your objective on a single survivor, after the first hook this survivor is at 33% dead, after 2nd hook 66% dead. It is for some reason considered toxic to tunnel, i.e. playing efficiently by completing your objective in a time efficient way.

    Now compare that to survivor
If you have repaired a gen to 66%, would you change your gen now or would you complete the 66% gen?
Because if you complete the 66%gen, then you are tunneling gens.

Thats literally using the definition of tunneling brought up by survivors.
As I said, non-tunneling survivors give me enough time not to tunnel them too.

And I would like to challenge you to explain me how a killer can be more effective by not tunneling, its literall common sense to do that.

And regarding the killers that do well without tunneling/camping, I challenge you to show them to me, and ofc they have to be high ranks, non-nurses and play against a competent team of survivors.

I said it was impressive to know multiple languages and understandable for such mistakes. When people use tunneling, they're referring to following around one person and keeping them from playing the game as normal. It's running after the person and not giving them a rest. Coming back for them if they were unhooked, etc. Gen rushing is when survivors sit on the gens without being disturbed or with nice boxes and get the gens done quickly. It's a funny image to think of a survivor running after a gen, though. #survivorkiller

Your analogy doesn't work. It's more similar to hooks. You aren't tunneling a hook by using it over and over. It's smart to go after the nearest hook. It isn't smart to tunnel one person as that is leaving three people with only gens to do. It's PvP and both having a good experience without feeling bullied or targeted is important.

As for the common sense of tunneling, you're leaving 2 people on the gen, 1 person on the hook, and 1 person going for the save. Unless you are not talking about tunneling in that regard. What I'm talking about is targetting a player straight off the hook and not giving them a break or following someone as gens pop around you. Sometimes people have a good rhythm in the area and it could be beneficial to give it a break to bug other people.

I said Monto and Puppers do quite well. I've also gone after many higher ranks that don't need to camp/tunnel to get everyone or to get a win. 3 out of 4 is still good. That's still a loss for survivors.

    I think that's what I said, but I forgot.

Puppers i agree because he streams . Monto only shows his wins tho. i cant really say that he is good like that now can i?

I wanted to experiment swapping Kindred with Sole Survivor, just for lols. Thinking I won't do ANY gens and just hang around until everyone is dead, then see how fast I can do the rest and escape.

Working as a team is a fundamental part of winning, but mobbing a killer takes away from the idea they are the threat. Again not calling for killer buffs just some mechanics to keep the theme in perspective. I know ima get some $#!+ on this but I think a person should feel desperate to escape a chase, stealth is a tool afterall.

    I play Nurse.

No Mither users die very quickly in my games.

Which usually leads to multiple people disconnecting.

So I'm not sure how this build of yours is meta.

Imagine this. You are chasing the obsession and you can definitely get them and make them waste DS right? Now imagine that when you go to swing for the down you hit me instead. Obsession can get away and killer is left with dilemma. Hook me and give the team Kindred (which at high rank I found makes teams play super optimally even if they are all solo), or slug me and let me get up so I can do it again and again. If killer never hooks me I can get up as much as I want and I don't need anyone to help me. If I go down and killer loses me on the ground, I'm gone. Everyone else is on gens. I can make a DS last much MUCH longer. Killer will waste a lot of time with me taking hits for other players and forcing them to only hook me, making the game go faster, or leave me alone and I do gens (also faster). I can make saves right in the killer's face with BT and killer can't stop me, even LF. They have to time the grab, and unhook with Resil is fast. If you see me in your game I'm going to make it my job that your first 3 hooks are on ME, and by the time I'm dead the other 3 are at the door waving. Basically having a NM player with this build ensure the killer gets exactly 1 killer, NM guy.

Think of NM as a time sink for the killer, where she spends all her time only to catch me first 3 times (if I want to make that happen). Every time she hooks me the game goes WAY faster, and every time she doesn't have tabs on me I could be doing gens really fast. The fact you want to die messes with a lot of killers, they want other people not you, the easy to kill guy.

As a killer I will always avoid chasing the DS pleb for obvious reasons. If a no mither guy jumps in front of me, a dream comes true tbh.

That thing with kindred is kinda interesting, as solo survivor its actually an insane benefit for your team, no double safes happen etc, but they plan to built in kindred soon anyway (will break the game if you ask me).

Yes you can make the DS guy not waste his DS, but as a killer I actually never want him to use DS. In fact, I will try to kill the no mither guy ASAP in order to only have 3 survivors anymore and the NM guy can be killed quicker cus 1 hit.

I dont really see how NM makes the killer waste more time for you than if he would chase a DS guy or even a normal 2 hit guy for example.

Yeah no mither is best used for stealth purposes rather than super agressive purposes.

No you are doing it wrong. Killers don't want you unless they can't catch other people. If the game goes on and gens get done, NM and obsession become bigger targets, and together they can extend a single chase to the entire game as long as the other 2 survivors just double up gens. Ruin and all that doesn't matter when 2 people on a gen and 2 are in a near infinite chase with the killer (unless they want the free hook on NM). I've just stood around out in the open, killer sees me when chasing someone and continues to chase. They don't want me they want that guy, and by letting me go they think they can get that guy. If I wanted I can make it so they don't get that guy by taking a hit. This is the power of NM.

If killers don't catch people they get flustered and start to do really toxic stuff. With NM you can appease them by letting yourself get hooked, 1 step closer to death. You can also punish the toxic stuff, since Kindred counters camping (for solo play) and NM + BT makes you a unhooking TANK that ensures people get off the hook and away and the killer can't do anything about it. NM + Resil means that if killer doesn't take you then gens get rushed in under a minute (if you want).

Having a NM guy is like danging some bait in front of the killer and saying "if you play nice this guy is yours at the end of the game". Killers relax a bit when they see NM (honestly they shouldn't, you could be really toxic with this build) and are less likely to do stuff like camp or tunnel players.

While i can see that your strategy is valid i have to say . That it is a really suicidal way of playing no mither and that it is stupid AF(no offense). I do that when i dont have no mither if i want too. No mither helps me to simply not be found by the killer unless i ######### up my stealth game.

You killers are being horribly bad im sorry to say. That would never work for me at all.

I wrote a semi-long post and it got deleted after I edited it. :(:(:(

But yes, they can be toxic. Spamming attacks, watching me bleed to death (when hook is near), nod etc. They get salty just like survivors sometimes but at least they don't text me after the game is over.

I still think survivors are much more toxic.

I've had that happen to me, too. Not fun.

Spamming attack while they are on the hooks (a few times), at least to me is my tbag essentially. I don't do it often, but when I do, it is well deserved.

I honestly nod to give props for someone who did well. Might explain some salt I've had thrown at me. Not like there are many ways to communicate as a killer.

    @Khroalthemadbomber said:
    Examples of Toxic Killers:

Doctors that do nothing but shock and refuse to melee.

Full on face campers 2 minutes into the game.

Chugga chugga choo choo tunnel killers.

Killers who dc the moment they see what offerings were tossed up or just dc the moment the round starts in general.

I've had a few doctors that were very eager to shock, but I think that's more of a strategy on their end. They want as many survivors on madness 3 as possible, so if they DO lose you, they can find you again without too much difficulty.

Campers and tunneling, 9 times out of 10, are not toxic, but a strategy choice. A choice you may not like, but a valid tactic that works. "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" is my motto when it comes to choosing my targets.

And yeah, DCing in general (unless a legit "lost connection, internet had a spasm") is extremely toxic behavior. I've had killers DC as soon as they saw I burnt a secret offering as a survivor. I've had survivors do the same, as a killer. I've had survivors DC during a chase when I found them within the first 30 seconds. DCs are the bane of this game.

AND 5 FPS MAPS TOO. il dc in shelter woods and the autohaven shop.

It wasn't necessarily intended to be a "challenge" per say. When it released, the devs specified that it introduced an "entirely different style of play" essentially intending EXTREME IMMERSION. That's why making it so that the killer doesn't know you have it wouldn't be a bad idea. It's easy, you start the game uninjured, but once injured, you are permanently in that state. It overall needs a buff being as it basically halves chase times or even more so depending on the scenario. All other things you listed are a fair buff to add as well minus the bloodpoint one being as I feel like they want to keep that with WGLF.

i definatively remember the devs saying "we made it as a challange perk" or similar in the dev stream after sexy david was born tho. Must be getting old.

    Heyo.

So recently there were some changes that tightened up the spam filter in an effort to stop bots. Results are mixed. There's a little less, but they still get through. This is where the funky stuff comes in: When you report a post, it shows up as an actual thread in a secret place you guys can't access (much like Steam forums, for anyone who's ever moderated one of those). So what I think is happening here is that you report a post, it creates a "thread" by you, and that counts towards the spam filter.

I'm going to see if we can loosen it back up. Ideally you shouldn't ever see that unless you are actually spamming, and it might be a little too strict right now.

and i found a bug where someone tries to quote and it fails to do so and when i click on Post comment it blocks me for spam as well please.

There's one big assumption here: That I was playing SWF. Nope, solo.

I ended up being the distraction, while others broke it, but either way, my problem is less with the addon and his change, but with how he was completely able to block a large objective with a single trap. There's a reason he can't put traps right next to a generator, you know.

And frankly, working through ruin would be fine if it didn't do the whole "and now your progression is completely stopped for 3 seconds" bit. Really fun when you get 5 skillchecks in a row, and you end up back at 0% from 50%, with two people working on it

And thats why when you hit a ruin check you STOP REPAIRING TO AVOID MORE CHECKS.

Would the hit not be blocked by you and hit the other person instead?

That’s why you time it right. The wiki says that the Survivor’s hitbox is removed during a dash, but that is untrue as you still have collision. You are simply invulnerable. A hit that would normally succeed would still hit you but act as if it missed. Time your DH right so that the invulnerability window impedes the Killer’s lunge and bails the other Survivor out.

    huh thats new for me.

  • @feffrey said:
But it isn't even hard to catch survivors... 100% of the time the killer spawns next to one survivor basically already 1 free kill . Remember it is more likely SWF so they will not let him die eventually they'll come for him...

I still fail to see the insanity .. Are all killers affriad to just stop chasing a Survivor that's going to loop them?

Il say this now. You are free to listen and see or to be blind . Its your choice.

ALL of the stuff you can think about to counter Survivors and more was Extensively Tested by hundreds of rank 1 killers and survivors ( or skilled players because rank does not equal skill).

These were proven that against semi DECENT ( not even good or above) survivors would nullify if the killer was not billy, nurse or huntress and even then only the nurse can challange good and above survivors( jesus forbid they have voice comms).

Thats why all of the players that you are talking to ridicule your assersions as they are stuff that them and i have tried and it works versus bad survivors and the good ones largely ignore.

Lets be honest: you are fishing arent you? and you know what i mean by this.

I’m going to call this the “Guaranteed De-Pip” build.

If you do 1 gen solo, make 1 save, and get 1 heal, then last for at least 5 minutes that's automatic safety right there. I also become more tantalizing as the game winds down and people aren't dead. I can get the killer to tunnel me and do really nutty stuff normal survivors would NEVER do because it gets them killed. A survivor that wants to die can't be mind game. You either just get lucky they mess up (which is easy with NM why you see that often), or NM guy did it on purpose to make you lose a hook on someone else. More people need to see that this build can actually do, once people figure out NM = infinite body blocks + faster games then you will see this build all the time.

Lmao I’m a No Mither main and this is just abject lying.

If you are NM then you should be forcing the killer to hit you when they want someone else. I've had 2 LF react the same way to me just running right in front of them and unhooking someone, we both get hit by chainsaw, and the guy I save gets away while LF figures out what to do. A few times I crawl away or someone else takes a chase and I get up, then do a gen. Killer didn't catch anyone and lost the free hook on me, now less time he has to catch people. I do that BS enough killer will hook me. Killer can't make me survive if I don't want to and that could be awful for some killers. I body blocked a tier 3 Myers for a guy. He hit me, before blood wipe finished it was gone. I totally saved that guy from a OHK. I do that enough and he doesn't take my hook I can make him use ALL of his EW. The trick with the build is you need an obsession running DS/Adrenaline for it to really work, if you just have a NM guy then chances killer may play more fair than they planned to because it's like a free kill for them, and they don't feel the need to try. I've helped a lot of teams escape because of this build.

if i was the killer you would have went into the hook no if and or butts.(pun intended)

I made a discovery in the past 24 hours. After playing killer a lot and getting nothing but teams coordinating, then playing survivor a bunch and getting either easy wins or dying because of some sort of BS (team was bad, maybe people rage quit w/e) I got so fed up with the game I decided to just stop caring.

I thought to use NM and play like I don't give a FFFF what happens to me. My goal was to safety pip while helping my team and also offering the killer a free meal as a way to make it not so bad for them (to maybe stop campers).

Then I thought, well if I'm helping my team I should use Resil, because that let's me do 1 gen to safety and more if I need (for say Ruin, which NM+Resil beats BTW). That will help with gens, if I die early killer might just give one the hatch.

Kindred also came to mind, because it would help all these survivors that don't know how to play coordinate somehow, and it would counter camping killers.

At first I was using DH, and it worked but it still felt like I cared about what happens to me. But then Borrowed Time caught my eye. Yea, then I can save someone, NGAF about what happens to me and if the killer hits them they have to let one of us go. Either he slugs me (I get up BTW) and goes for them in a longer chase, or he takes me and they get away.

Perfect, we have a build. No Mither. Resilience. Kindred. Borrowed Time. My goal was to make the game more fun for everyone. But I found that this build, THIS BUILD, is the ultimate meta of this game. It's ridiculous how fast I do stuff. I can run out in front of a Billy sprinting across the map to the last gen where my 2 teammates repairing and mess up his sprint. He can't leave me, he has to hook me. And I don't struggle either, because why bother, let him hook me now me entire team know whats up. They will see him look at them and know he has BBQ (F ur aura perk bra). If you are chasing obsession that hasn't DS'ed yet I will just show up in front of you when you swing to down her. Like I just did to a Billy last game. She got away, I crawled away. It's obscene the stuff you can get away with on this build. I will admit, there was one game against a Myers where I was also the obsession and I thought Dying Light, and was like "sorry GG my team", but turns out he was doing stuff with PWYF (still I think DL is the only counter to this if obsession is also NM guy).

I also found you don't want more than 1 of these on a team. You want 1 obsession (DS/Adrenaline), 1 NM, and 2 normies. It's the most meta thing right now. I might get to recording some of these games. You guys have to try this build, but know ahead of time that this build takes big BIG survivor balls. Bigger balls than obsession balls. You have to know what the killer is doing. Also you have to be totally okay with dying, because it will happen A LOT. Basically if you have someone that plays killer, this is their build. It's absolutely nuts.

    Try it!

EDIT: Had a game against a LF. I just ran at the hook like nothing and saved the guy. Gave him BT he gets away, killer panics. Chases him but is too late he's gone. I crawl away. By time he finds me again I'm right in his face as he is about to catch someone else. He is confused again. Takes me, I die. Doors are powered now, 3 left. GG

Had another against Freddy using STBFL and I was obsession. Just ran out and let him hit me over and over, when he hooked me twice I let myself die.

As I type this I sit in NM at a running gen, not even heard a heartbeat yet. This build is nuts.

But No mither requires actual skill to use and does not rob the killer of a won chase unlike DS BS. So its not the new DS.

Ok 43 responses was way to many to go through so I'll only say this.

I don't have a problem with the bl enrf as long as they follow through with the smoothing between 1-2 and also at least adjust the maps some. The Barn and Storehouse being the 2 most obvious culprits while also giving survivors ways to actually be stealthy.

Sadly to really make it where it needs to be requires full map reworks and or completely new code to really balance things out. Because the big changes everyone wants to balance things will most likely take a while and or break the code if all implemented at once.

Also who da F uses BL 3? Its either you "break the pallet" or you use your power or you (relunctatelly (sorry bad english)) leave them.

As the power role you should not be forced to leave someone from the supposed "weaker" role because they can stall you for a long time. That to me shows that this weaker role is actually the power role. Thats a big no no on asymetrical games and the source of most of the "killer mains" (although they play both sides and have a much easier time with the "weaker" role) complaints and grips.

Oh and dont forget to erase DS BS too. The rest of the perks are fine.

  • @feffrey said:

All perks has a counter just saying

Again an unreliable soft counter hard countered by a bodyblocker. You do know that the common "killer mains" (although they play both sides) know all of the game's mechanics right?

  • @Boss said:
    I'm not concerned actually.
I agree this would be more significant than nerfing BL3, as you barely every hit that, but just cause it'd be a bigger change doesn't mean it's something to worry about.
I found it quite funny (not the laughing kind of funny) that you can hit and get stunned.

Thing i'm still mostly worried about is how the weaker Killers still suffer from chain-looping: Even if you end them quickly, Survivors can just lead you to the next loop and still take minutes.
Kiting them away from unused loops is ridiculously hard 50/50 due to map layout.
And most can loop, so just leaving someone isn't ever a great choice above like rank 12.
Lots of big buildings are horrible as well. I thought developers didn't want to create safe spots, yet going into the big building of most Coldwind Farm maps is pretty goshdang safe.

As long as you know how to WASD or left stick + mouse movement or right stick you are only caught because of you or another survivor unless its a nurse/hag/huntress.

Most survivors don't have an issue with Nurse, they don't like her but they also don't quit. I take it as a challenge to face the strongest killer in the game.

then why have most of the survivors in my region blocked me to the point where i only play against chinese survivors with 150+ ping?

What region are you on and what platform since Pc I get people from Asia and some have quite good ping? If you're on PS4 or Xbox that's something they should fix so that people don't just troll yuo because you were good.

If you were toxic then yes but if not you shouldn't be able to be blocked.

survivors use MLGA to block me for beating them, i haven't seen a name that wasn't just a row of boxes for months, and my region is Australia

Perhaps you're just not a good killer and resort to playing like a douche..? I wonder what addons you use with your Nurse...? ¯(ヅ)/¯

I don't use addons and I play to win, I don't see how that makes me a "douche"

A killer killing survivors is a "douche", just fyi

    Yeah, because that's what I said -.-

It's not like the comment was laced with sarcasm. Here, let me spell it out for you...

Nurse is BS. Many of the Nurse addons make her even more BS. I wonder why this guy (yeet) is being blocked? Could it be because he uses Nurse almost exclusively and uses super "fair" addons. Jesus, get a grip.

Yeah its BS that you cannot loop and bully the nurse like a normal trash killer. How is that fair

If you get bullied that's a you problem. You are the audience the following video is aimed at...

So what, the biggest problem of the game is map design. Thanks, I already know that btu the devs wont do anything about it because they are lazy

Hmmm, it seems as though you struggle to read AND listen. The title and topic of the video point to people that are generally bad at the game, but insist on blaming the game first instead of getting better. You and many others here would fall into this category.

Nah, I don’t give two shits what ScottJund has to say. He literally said right on it “This is a casual party game” meaning the balance is screwed up in order to give Survivors who dick around for half the match a chance to still win cause the game is a “casual party game.” It’s not that Killers are “bad”, it’s that the game is balanced for Survivors who suck at the game. Map balance is just another thing being used as an excuse to cover up the game is balanced for casual Survivor’s “having fun” and dicking around while the Killer always has to go full tilt. If the Survivors go full tilt, they wreck cause the balance is so far in their favor.

There's just no getting through to you guys..

Whatever, you're bad at the game. Git gud, then complain x

You lost all credibility at "Killer isn't even hard". Not worth reading the rest.

Ok so I guess making it to 5 while barely playing killer in a season is sooo hard , sorry I don’t fall into loop games or chase the obsession the whole time only to get d strike , you lost all credibility when you complain about the most recent buff you got while survivors got nerfed, are you that terrible that you still can’t do good after a buff?

Rank doesnt mean anything sadly. Piping is extremely easy for both sides. Piping as killer only gets hard once you reached high rank
I managed to get rank 1 survivor in my first month trying btw

You can win without either killing or surviving. How odd.

Because they would have to pay for another license to use these cosmetics. There is a high probability, all licensed killers won't have any new outfits in the future.

True but why didn't they go for the whole shebang if you would? Issues with funding or because they simply couldn't afford it?

    Probably.

I made this for all the whiny killer mains who feel a need to cry their wittle eyes out on this forum everyday , so now there’s a place for you all!!!! That being said I have respect for a lot of killer mains on here who literally don’t complain and give advice to all the whiners who refuse to listen, whoever this applies to : thank you for not being part of the problem.
