Jaws could unironically work, if BHVR would be insane enough to make a killer who works only on one map.
Jump Force had Dio the vampire in its roster and for lore accuracy, he is disabled for use on Daytime levels-using him always puts you to a night level
Imagine taking a Game offering thinking you're going to dunk on a killer but you end up at the beach anyways, that would be funny
-
This is actually quite devastating for Spirit players. Your camera is literally shoved up her butt or her crotch, so you actually cant see survivors very well even if you..uh...tried.
Some survivors even can move before you can even start looking at Lethal...

It'll be this Wednesday, as noted in the article from last week about the 5.7.0 Post-PTB Changes (I personally am so excited for it, especially for updates to Legion): https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/320046/news-5-7-0-post-ptb-changes
There will be entire legions of us out in the Fogthis Wednesday, I cant wait

If I think I'll come back to this pallet later, I'll break it.
Noed gaming requires plenty of forethought and setup. Chases lost now can be won later.
But I typically dont like mind gaming pallets a whole lot, especially if they have uneven surfaces like those rocks on say, Coal Tower. Survivorsseem to be able to hug it tightly but I find myself losing distance sometimes
-
It's the game, not pcs or consoles
Unless you seriously want to make an argument that dbd is such a beast of a game that it surpasses the likes of RdR 2.
Case in point, the water in the RPD at launch.
This game is so outdated and poorly programmed. But Bhvr has already said they aren't doing dbd2, so the spaghetti code is staying.
Thinking that consoles or toaster pcs is what's holdingthis game back is purely copium
-
Killers need to look away from survivors as if they are some kind of killer like Slenderman lol.
I dont have an issue much with Spine Chill itself, but rather the gameplay it encourages from the killer.
-
RPD needs to be removed immediately!
...from discussions about removing it. Don't let Stranger Things get to yalls heads cuz it aint happenin

Wouldn't you hate it more if you buffed the Perk?
I would still hate it, for sure. Dead Harding for distance as it is is already really powerful and lets survivors greed loops, which can waste a lot of time.
It's a hate I think I could live with, though. The ability to potentially hit survivors mid DH would be more healthy overall I think, even if for some killers theres only an illusion of counterplay lol. Using DH for invincibility to dodge things like Traps or Static Blast is incredibly lame.

Dead Hard is already the best Perk in the game and you want to buff it?
sure, if it means not dealing with iframes. i dislike it that much. I dont really have an issue with exhaustion perks otherwise.
-
dead hard should maybe be buffed for distance, but not have iframes. I would imagine that would feel a lot less bad trying to outplay as, say, Huntress or Trapper.
-
old Mustard Gas farms was fugly beyond belief. But it did seem a bit more memorable than current Cornwind. But I like the daytime/evening though, I think its cozy.
I hate how the daylight makes it harder to read auras, though. Maybe that's the real reason behind the name Dead by Daylight

The Game was killer sided for years. Taste the other side.
Not to the extent that it is survivor sided now, though.
Old Gideons was nowhere near the salt factory that it is now.
-
i like the dead dawg shack wall, i love breaking that one.
i also like breaking One bathroom door on Midwich.
-
the only reason i hate it is because people fake having DS, but i hate it in a funny way.
id rather they just get rid of locker saves
-
makes camping basement much more devastating
-
PWYF and Noed are probably staples on him I bet.
Gotta go fast!
-
I just like hearing survivors puke 😎
-
I think you may have put yourself on tilt by expecting a chill match or something.
-
The new xboxs feel basically the same theres not much adjustment like from the 360->xbox one
Just use your same info and you're good to go.
-
I wouldn't complain about a nerf if they leave the recharge alone at least.
-
I'd argue Myers can do something similar, because you just never know at the start if he has tombstone so you'll always respect him
-
I love how Boons and No Way Out have pushed Noed into a viable meta call.
My idea of gen slowdown is to just kill everybody so it's nice to play to my strengths
-
had a survivor drop down the bathroom and i nearly had a heart attack
-
i figured its just some form of prone block
-
If you play Bubba with Territorial Imperative and Insidious, every match of Dbd is a heist game
-
Corrective Action seriously needs to apply for ANY skill check action you are involved with in some way.
I was in for a letdown when I had a Meg blow a healing skillcheck on me and the Freddy just waltzed over and killed me. Did she legitimately mess up, or was I just a walking alarm clock?
With one simple change, Corrective Action can more properly serve its niche as the "I swear to God if you blow that check ONE more time..." perk.
-
Expose Slinger has been working out for me. Helps make those shots feel more decisive.
-
Tier 1 stats are pretty irrelevant unless you're scratched mirror
-
Tbh, the Legion changes overall were eh as far as I'm concerned. But the power drain removal is h y p e
-
maybe Legion. Freddys got a teleport and tomato sauce that he can spill, but that power requires at least 1% of brain function.
legion can stab and just know where people are. very easy to turn your brain off with legion.
-
Cornwind, Red Forest, Swamp, Eyrie, Ormond, some Macmillan and Autohaven levels, crotus prenn, badham, and sometimes the Game. The Game giveth and The Game taketh.
Midwich is one of my favorite levels but the hooks there the past little while has been pretty miserable.
-
PLOT TWIST: it's actually Buffy from Call of Duty, and George Romero gets added as an uber zombieto every map for a month

If anything, the devs need to nerf cherry blossom + mother daughter ring combo. Ridiculously overpowered.
Cant see it happening for as long as IW exists.
It's like a piece of gum holding a dam together. IW ain't bein changed any time soon or ever I reckon
-
This perks biggest failing is that it doesn't work when survivors fail skill checks on you.
Even if only 1 person is healing you, it should still be considered cooperative action
-
@Kurri said:
The most nerf I can see them doing to Dead Hard is removing the invulnerability so players stop using it as an extra health state and start using it for distance like it's meant to be used.
if killers like slinger and victor could hit you mid DH, i feel like DH would be so much less soul crushing
-
@GoshJosh said:
Dead Hard can totally screw a perfectly placed blink on demand. Its users have no sympathy from this survivor main. Lithe, Overcome, and Sprint Burst are all viable exhaustion perks against her already.
And above all that, we have no idea what the devs are doing with Dead Hard, if anything at all.
fixated with SB is a lot of fun VS nurse imo

I've died so many times because Iron Maiden revealed my location. It's such a cruel perk, made for the Canadian killer.
Why maple syrup land, why?
there are canada geese in the lockers there bud

have instigators come to realize that saying "lightborn is OP" isnt spicy anymore, so now Iron Maiden is the new hip thing?

I finally got around to saving up enough BP to try this build a few times. All I can say is it's 4D chess if you know RPD well (it's my 2nd favorite map so I know it inside out)
You can use the wallhacks portals to straight up cut people off. You can hook someone on one side of the map, go pop a gen somewhere else, then still be back in time to stop the savior.
Call of brine lets him 3 gen like a champion too. Pretty disgusting build overall, though very meticulous and thought intensive imo.
Niceto see some Demo love, I love his lichen add on so much. Rpd is a great level for cutting people off with it
I've had to add Agitation because it synergize perfectly with his kit
I cant believe there was a time I flat out ignored portals

When the next tome? (after this one) unless there are some Kate’s skins I probably won’t buy the rift
May as well wait andsee. I wasnt interested in the trickster rift whatsoever but it gave us feng players her best leggings so who knows

I can only play demo in small doses because he uses too much brain power

Chases from both sides are my favourite aspect of the game (well with the exception of my Head On/Deception plays when playing survivor). I don't really enjoy hide n seek and searching for players to chase, I like to get into chases quickly which is probably why I like information perks a lot.
A lot of players love the hide n seek aspect as well though - I think that's what's been so popular about DbD, there is such a variety of playstyles.
Oddly enough, the viability of hide and seek is part of why I enjoy VSing Nurse and Spirit.
Stealth needs to be used in moderation ofc, but aggressive use of it is exhilarating. As unbalanced as Iron will is, its the one perk that makes it truly viable
-
I hated it when I was new, but it really grew on me. The loss of Hawkins is still felt.

Don’t be too excited yet.
we also assumed Bill would get this Young-Version of him as a skin and ended up with something different.
maybe the Twins tome will come with a Spirit cosmetic and that picture is just misleading us again.
;)
Iirc, Bill's outfit isnt evensomething that hed have actually worn in Vietnam. And the shades+hat is uggo
Thankfully Plague is amazing so it wasnt a complete miss

personally i consider 2k a win. if the game is ideally intended to be balanced for an average of 2k and 2 escapes then i see no reason you cant consider 2k a win. considering how hard it can be to get 1k sometimes. I can be happy with 1k sometimes. its only 0k i consider a pure loss because even with1k i still did my job by feeding the entity. imo anyways.
As a greedy sweaty killer player, I consider 2k a win out of necessity for my sanity
But even when you win, sometimes you'rethe loser so ultimately it doesnt even matter I guess
I had a match the other night where I got one measly hook on the Game, and just got my 2nd down whenthe last popped. I gave up, opened the doors and just wanted my pity kill.
The survs couldn even give me that and wanted to utterly destroy me, andthey almost did if I didnt get a lucky grab which spiralled into a 3k thanksto Starstruck Agitation.
The fact I got a 3k and a Win was irrelevant because I was miserable. Meanwhile, some 0k or 1k games are a lot of fun because there is back and forth action.

Buffing Nurse and Blight while nerfing Clown, Twins and Pinhead sure was gonna help that killer variety, heh?
"The numbers, Mason! What do they mean? "
"...nerf Twinsand and Nemesis?"

im glad the perks exist then and are available. i likely wouldnt have used him as i get very easily lost and disoriented so i avoid teleporting abilities as i easily lose survivors im chasing normally, quickly changing locations likely would be very hard for me.
yes i suck like that
That'ssomething that comes with game sense. You get a feel of where to tp, when to TP etc.
If youd like some training wheels, his Leprose Lichen can help you with being a more Portalgressive Demo.
On average though, Demosdont TP a lot in chase. You can, but it's pretty big brained. Dont mindgame yourself

GF lives and dies by the first 30 seconds of a match

Hes Demogorgone
No amount of Demogorgonzola will bring him back :(

I think you just go force them out. Or if you can't bear the thought of some bags, go hang out in the basement and AFK
It's morethe principle of it, and failingto understand such childishness. Maybe I'm just too old
Survivors at gates aren't giving hits anyway, so it's more tempting to break stuff for some BP.
