@Peanits I want the LOL button back.

To play Devil's Advocate, if you make chests less appealing for Survivors, wouldn't that encourage people to stop searching them completely and do generators instead? Ideally you would want them to search chests as much as possible since that buys you time.
Perhaps if with the chances of finding an empty chest, you increase the chance of getting a rare or better item.
-
I do not play SWF but honestly, if SWF was removed for a week, I would not play that week. The queue times would explode, survivors would lodge dodge like crazy to play with their friends or just go play KYF. Sorry but that is a horrible idea.

So as demanded, i deleted the screenshots of the afterchat conversation.
I guess i better go back in my killer cave and stfu.
I actually agree with your issues with the DCs survivors do with Legion. It is horrid and stupid. I would love to see a wave ban occur.
I advised you to edit your screenshots so you did not get in trouble for name shaming. That was all. You took the comment far too personal.
-
@TreemanXD So you ask for people's opinions just to tell them they are wrong?
-
As I am a PS4 player, I would say the Nurse. The frame rates, the skill curve x3, and controller sensitivity make her very very difficult to play. I have seen a tiny amount of good nurses, but nearly all on PS4 are not good because of the issues listed above.
-
You may want to edit your screenshots. There are rules against name shaming on the board.
-
I love the peeble. I spent one game tossing peebles and getting the killer to take the bait repeatedly for all 5 gens. I wish I had recorded it.

It was in Infinity War.
In all seriousness, I doubt the devs would make someone like me a mod. I'm too much of a polarizing figure.
Sadly this is true. While I may not agree with all your points, I have never personally found you rude or harsh. Just direct and straight to the point. I have enjoyed our limited exchanges, even the few times you pointed out my lapses in judgment.

Half the forum would be banned overnight, so I doubt it's that.
You say that like its a bad thing

Stuff like this thread is a perfect example why this forum gets mocked as being extremely killer sided BS. So let’s say someone gets hooked in the basement with multiple gens left, not even the EGC. Someone goes to make a save and the killer returns to block the stairs, bringing the game to a standstill to ensure their 2 kills. On what planet is this quality gameplay?!
When that happens (while rare, it will happens), the killer is an idiot and he will get crap for BP. It is not quality gameplay, but technically it is a valid play. While I personally would not do it, I would not get mad a killer doing it to me. The basement is a very high risk, and basement saves doubly so.
I disagree the game is at a standstill. If there are other survivors, I would hope they are still cranking out gens. Now, if in your example, the two in the basement are the last two survivors and you are not in EGC, that is still considered taking the game hostage and is reportable.
-
Killers blocking stairs is rare to begin with, esp for entire matches as the OP was using as an example. If a killer does that, first off they are stupid. Secondly, while it does suck for the survivor trapped, the rest of the survivors get the gens done, start EGC and game over. EGC prevented the hostage situation.
The only time I can agree with the OP as under the new EGC that the basement body block is the extremely rare situation that the killer some how manages to get all 4 survivors trapped in the basement and not in a EGC situation. This situation is reportable and also completely stupid and survivors should never let that happen to themselves.

Just an observation. Doesn't official usually mean that it was announced by the company. Not sure how Paulie using tweets from various people, including a few over a year old counts as being official.

A player has the right to know if their reports actually mean something; that is not spiteful nor is it juvenile.
Stalking the profile of someone reported, then asking if they got banned is very spiteful.

They all look really cool, although we all want shirtless Myers but of course that'd crash the store it'd be purchased so fast.
I say we boycott all cosmetic purchases until Shirtless Myers is given to us.
-
You get insulted, racist comments made to you, report them and be done with it. The support team is good at their jobs and those who behave in that manner are dealt with. I do understand where you are coming from, as I get deal with a ton of homophobic bs and my wife gets tons of misogynistic garbage sent her way. I just report it and move on. I would not feel better about playing a game if I got an alert that someone I reported was banned.
-
My honest opinion, you going back to this person two weeks after the fact, to question if they got banned was a bit spiteful and juvenile. The support team closed the case. Simple as that. Honestly cannot blame the player for being a bit miffed at you.
-
Disagree. Let the Mod staff just do their jobs and not worry if someone was banned or not. I see no usefulness in knowing you got someone kicked out of the game.
-
Killer: Legion though the new Clown is great
Survivor: Nea.
-
You may want to edit all your screen shots. Name shaming is extremely frowned upon in this neighborhood.

I hope you all noticed the date on the tweets :/
Yes I did notice, but its more fun to play along and enjoy the ride.

It will be ok, breath in, breath out.

@Mushwin and @Saint_Ukraine from an old school horror fan, please let me recommend that you both try watching the original Omen, Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Black Christmas and Suspiria. All amazing horror films that properly built tension and terror without the need of cheap effects and over use of gore. Do not judge them on today's standards. Just enjoy them for them for what they were.
On topic, I do not see Legion as Ghost Face. The only similarity was multiple people behind the mask, but even that is a bit of a reach as the lore is not even remotely the same beyond that one simple fact. I see no harm in bringing in a licensed killer that is beloved by so many people. It only helps promote the game more. If you do not want to play the character, do not buy the character.
-
Personally not a fan of the franchise or character but hell, enough people in the community are. I see no issue with getting Ghostface, even if he is another stabby character. I would be interesting to see what they would do with him/her/them
-
I like the additions. Gives a bit more variety for people to pick from.
-
Its all part of the conspiracy man. Its the survivors, working with the aliens, trying to manipulate all the killers into running only Hex perks while at the same time mastering the ultimate infinite loop and performing a sprint t-bag through an exit gate while still having 5 gens to go. They are out to get you man. Fight the oppression.
That or its just random, though I doubt it.
-
Dwights, always Dwights. All different type of Dwights. They haunt my dreams. So I must destroy all Dwights.
-
If only there was a way to pump that song in game to the survivors.
-
@Raccoon You are a horrible person.
-
Great, now I will not be able to get that song out of my head for the rest of the day.

It's a little something that you haven't seen before. Nothing huge, but a nice surprise.
TELL US ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I have two. First I still cannot understand. I had problem the worse I game I ran as a killer ever. I was running the Clown. Got one hook, maybe a total of 5 hits. 3 of the 4 survivors already out the gate. Last survivor sitting at the game t-bagging me, then suddenly he DCs. Player never responded why he DCed.
The second I had was playing jump scare Michael. Pulled first survivor right off the gen. Suddenly 3 survivors DC. Jump scare Michael was too intense for them so they refused to continue I was informed. So I let the last survivor get all 5 gens, both exit gates.
-
I think to prevent this, the killer should have the option to duct tape the survivor to the hook. This would prevent the arms from flailing. In term, to make a successful hook rescue, the survivor must first find a pair of scissors in a chest to cut the duct tape, unless of course they have DS.
I must say, the OP is truly brilliant. Your suggestion has found a way to make DS useful again

I am holding off judgement of Endgame until PTB. I want to see how it plays out in a few actual games.

Yeah I don't mind PC players getting to test the PTB at all really. That's fine with me. THe game was out on PC 1st, and all.. it's cool.
I would be annoyed at a bonus for them though.
I dont mind them having PTB. It honestly makes sense for it not to run on console. I just would have an issue with them getting rewards for playing on it since console gamers cannot.
-
The surprise better not be any type of perk or bonus for playing on the PTB. There is already a minor divide between PC and console gamers as it is.
-
Finally a nerf the OP Killer Nea.

Yeah, they were. Standard video game ToU includes "don't cheat/exploit" (in legalese).
But because I refused to read them, that means they did not exist. Legally speaking of course.
-
-
Of course we do on every change or perk or tweak or whatever. This is a discussion board and there are only so many times we can respond to "What is your favorite Meg shorts" post. So we over react on any and every change. Its more entertaining that way. Just grab some popcorn and enjoy the next week of extreme responses.
-
Read your Terms of Use, then come back asking for a refund.
-
Ok, I think I understand your complaints. You are wanting more constant punishments for killers taking the game hostage? I would agree that needs to happen and from my understanding it does. Now they get a lot of reports for abuse daily, so this person may not be banned right away, but I am certain he would.
That said, camping is not taking the game hostage. The first part of your example, the camping, is not a banning offense. It sucks, but not a rule breaker.
Now the last three survivors trapped in the basement, yes that is a rule violation and is bannable.
I do need to ask though, if the Leatherface was camping survivor 1, how did the other three end up in the basement at the same time to get trapped in the first place? Why were they not gen rushing to punish the camping Leatherface? Not saying the Leatherface should not be banned, but the survivors did kinda put themselves in a position to let the Leatherface to be a dick.

As another console game, the miss and immediate cancel of Feral Frenzy is the most concerning. 360s are far too easy to pull off on console and Feral Frenzy misses are rather frequent. If this change stays, Legion will be pretty much dead on console. The rest of the changes, I do not mind with a little tweaking.
@not_Queen and @Peanits Do you know if when these changes were suggested, that the devs considered console Legion mains or were we again the forgotten population?
-
@Carpemortum I actually noticed the same thing. Didnt not realize there were so many Legion out there. Kinda scary

Finally I could tell it was only going to go into circles for ages otherwise, my only real issue with certain offerings and items is rarity
I try to avoid repetitive arguments. This discussion is more a matter of perspective/opinion than objective fact. I do agree with the rarity of ebony moris. I think the issue with that is more how often you play, and if you are sitting P3 50 on your killer. My killers I do not have at P3 do not get ebony moris often. My P3 50 killers seem to get them every other bloodweb.
-
@TreemanXD I guess we will need to agree to disagree.
-
@TreemanXD There is a difference between old BNP and a Mori. If we were discussing the old Mori before the addition of the hook requirement, I would agree with you. With the current Moris, you still have to get that initial hook. I think that balances with the current state of BNP.
-
@GrootDude said:
@Orion but they aren’t balanced. You hook all the survivors and can kill them that isn’t what I’d call balanced.
That is what I would call balanced though. The point of the mori is to remove survivors quicker from the game, in a nice bloody way. What you are suggesting is removing the entire benefit of a mori. Likewise, the key changes you recommend removes the entire benefit of the key as well.
Personally, I like @Orion's suggest for keys. Moris I think are fine like they are. I actually kinda geek out when I get mori'ed.
-

Kinda makes Mori's useless though?
Pretty much, and I think that was the OP's point.
