You just don't notice? It got noticeably worse lol, this is how many are experiencing dbd atm: https://youtu.be/a7xDlakPTcg
Im sorry but it really hasn't gotten worse they've made it much better than it used to be and using one person is not a good example since they could just have a bad PC. Ive never had any

Insultimg someone's mother =/= callimg someone out for tunneling.
I dont feel bad for toxic people lol
-
Yall will tunnel then get mad when someone calls it out lmao.
-
Lemme just say, as someone who plays on ALL systems except switch, its gotten better you just dont notice. Things like Nurse going to 15 FPS when blinking happens so little if at all anymore, Clown can throw bottles without extreme lag at first now, doctor no longer lags as well. The changes are big yet minor and also subtle.
-
you just said people who have actual experience playing a killer doesn't matter then congratulated him on being stubborn even though he was proved wrong several times.
-
Just say you want spirit to be F tier and GO

A logical nerf would be to swap the rarities but they decided to make it pure TRASH. But I don't care since I rarely run it.
Same I only ran it if I was going against a SWF with either all claudette's or all flashlights lol

True, we all know survivors and SWF are super nice and im just being mean :(

No issues with Asian.
Could be Chinese, Mongolian, give me a murderous Hindu goddess. The point is there's so many countries, and we get the same Japanese noise that EVERY OTHER GAME shoves in.
Oh okie I read it wrong sorry. But im on board for a chinese killer.
-
You're really mad we're getting more asian culture just because its asian- literally almost no horror game empathizes on asian themes so its somethin new

Kate dressed as a 50's housewife would be cute

I always kill Ash's and Adam's cause they're ugly and annoying.

You guys who are saying "We dont care about the cell bonuses." Are throwing broke players under the bus so hard lmao. Also y'all need to realize this isnt a one week pass or something its literally 60 days. Its not meant to be completed by anyone anytime soon unless they buy through it.

You mean like every person that plays dbd? Yeah i know that, no idea what you try to tell me with this but I have a life and do not want the time that I can spend on DbD be ruined by entitled little crybabies. So i really don't care why they dc and so on. No sympathy, tolerance or anything ever.
I would like that BHVR marks people who dced in the last 24hrs, so people can just go and look for another lobby. That way they can play with all the other rage potatoes.
If someone is literally forced to get off due to IRL reasons how is that their fault- man get a life and stop crying over a game if you dont want people to DC then just hope nothing IRL happens
-
If theres only two people left just die on hook lol no point in trying
-
If I see an all brown claudette or P3 claudette I just look for a new lobby lol

I don't agree with the Nurse nerfs either, but trying to downplay that she "isn't that strong" is simply not true.
She's the strongest killer in the game. She will still be the strongest killer in the game even if the nerf does go through, because that's how strong she actually is.
We know a "depip squad" is overpowered. You don't balance the game by throwing one overpowered thing at the other. Doing so results you in a game called 'League of Legends'.
Game balance is more than making both sides having an equal chance at winning. Two enemies for example may be able to one shot each other in a fighting game and that may be 'balanced' on paper, but that doesn't make for an engaging experience.
I dont think she'll be too strong after the nerf. Maybe A tier but her spot as strongest will definitely be usurped by spirit
-
@Endstille said:
Why do you have a threshold? In other games there is no such thing, honestly give them increasing CD 1->24hr->2day->1week
If it is accidental they can try to fix their internet without ruining games of others and i dont care why people dc. Ruins the game for all people involved, no sympathy, understanding or tolerance for these kids.
You know some people have lives outside of DBD right?

If all four survivors are on death hook and the 5th gen pops, is the killer bad? 🤔
NOED doesn't group all four survivors together. Yes, the one survivor that does get hit with NOED is going to feel cheated. But the other survivors should cut their losses and leave the "bad" killer with their one kill. So, unless you can break the totem and BT your teammate out the gate, don't feed the killer more.
To complain about a perk thats gone two reworks is laughable. Whould you rather face the original version? Be thankful you can prevent it's activation entirely.
Well then dont complain about loops! Loops have been through countless nerfs and changes so just be glad youre not going against old loops!

@Mochan said:
Sprint Burst used to be meta but to be honest I've always viewed it as a crap perk. Especially after the Exhaustion Nerf. I think it was good before the nerf, but post-nerf it hurts you more than helps you.
It just serves as a disincentive to run, which makes you a slow, immersed survivor who is just walking around the map until a killer shows up. It's a lousy perk. Lithe is far, far superior.

Yes, we did. They were far too powerful and didn't take any planning or skill to use. Any time you got hit, you could use it to get a free health state. You could even use a syringe after the killer downs a survivor to completely negate the entire chase and reset them back to healthy. It was definitely too much.
No offense but he kinda has a point when comparing this to insta downs. You have perks like Rancor which literally require nothing to activate and negate any progress the obsession has made towards surviving and guaranteeing them a loss now im not saying nerf rancor but insta downs and insta heals are in the same boat of they both require 0 skill except insta downs are much more common and even built into some killers base kits while insta heals arent.

Well in regards to this, people at Red Ranks do that just fine to me, they either stand or even run and break me out of stalking.
They even do it behind cover and walls, so I don't know if its a rank thing or what (Also thank you!)
Its not the fact that its hard its the fact while hes standing up completely still and Im staring at him behind a tire, right in front of him, or in the middle of the chase it wont even say im looking at him and he just exposes me

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/92150/just-delete-ghost-face-if-you-wont-fix-him
i would like to mention that it depends if ghost face has built his power to almost full, like shape (myers) stalking. they build it up so when they see the next survivor they instantly knock you down. nothing survivors can do. this should answer to why you can't break him, most of the time.☺️
At one point I was off the gen and staring at him but it just didnt break. He wasnt even in cover just right out in the open
-
@FireHazard said:
I've been broken out of stalking a fair bit at Red Ranks actually...
currently im rank 5 and its not that he's so OP and needs a nerf they just need to make it so when we are staring directly at him out in the open he breaks out of stalk (also congrats on trusted status)

it also works the other way around though...
its not very uncommon for me to get revealed even when i'm standing behind a wall, just because they cought a glimpse of me for a second.
This killer is just so riddled with bugs and weird detect boxes
-
@Mochan said:
The real problem is that you can stare at him in the middle of a chase in an open field and he won't get broken out of stalk.
THANK YOU this is what im sayin
-
@xllxENIGMAxllx said:
There is three options that may make him hard to spot.
1). The latency
2). The add-ons
3). Simply the obstacle blocking more range as it's supposed.
As i mentionned above the reason 3 are most likely the case. As sometime if GF is leaning and move a bit to hide himself more, He is totally undetectable and that's a bad design
He was literally out in the open, with no ant-reveal add ons, while chasing me. There was so stealth play because he knew no one could break him out so he just straight up chased us all because we couldn't reveal him.
-
@Nikkiwhat said:
It's not that hard to break stalking. You're probably jus not doing that right and you do realize he has add-ons to make it harder to break his stalking.... Gotta love the knee-jerk reactions asking to delete a Killer.
Im not asking to delete cause hes op (also yall should know im not seriously askin to delete him) he just has soooooo many bugs. Also he wasn't running any anti-reveal add ons

Demogorgon has really opened up the realm of possibility when it comes to inclusions in DBD, Alien being the most obvious.
Stranger Things isn't straight up horror, and it's much lighter than the other licenced franchises.
I would love to see Predator and even Terminator in DBD.
That would definitely kill the game so easily.

Yep that's true I forgot about those Wristblades too,his perks would probably revolve around sensory and speed maybe?
@kate_best_girl it could be argued that the Demogorgon is a Sci-fi monster to because he Lives in a different dimension which is very Sci-fi and not paranormal or very slasher but I can understand if you don't like the idea of that kind of monster
Plus hes definitely more of a scary monster, he eats flesh, and yes he's sci-fi hes not space sci-fi which is very very different.

Her RBTs are good at stalling and distracting the survivors during the match, slowing gen progression a bit. Or, if your teammates aren't paying attention and pop the last two gens right after the Pig put a helmet on you, it can be deadly. (I felt so bad for that survivor, omg seeing two gens just "pop pop" before I even got her to the hook...)
I agree with you that Pig is weak, but weakest? I'm not so sure. I'd rather play her than Clown any day.
Well survivors always just push through the helmet then start doing it. At the very least 1 or 2 gens pop during their helmet.

I think the Xenomorph would be good at stopping loops and his lore fits if the Entity pulls him from the depths of space as the blew it out through the bay doors from part one the Xenomorph could be another scary killer like the Demogorgon
I dont mean in terms of balance, I just mean in terms of stupidity. Xenomorph is scary sure but Sci-fi has no place in a game like dead by daylight and many MANY people would hate to see it in. The demogorgan isnt a space alien and is an actual scary monster whos lore is more with horror rather than sci-fi.

You gain distance and get them on the next go-around, or one after that if you don't run it well enough. Of course you aren't catching them when they first pop balanced landing..
Also FYI I did this test to see if there was even a way to catch up to them (solely using your technique) during EGC so 3 minutes. Didnt even get the hit off

Not really.
She may stall the game very well and her ambush atack allows you to trump some loops.
Also she is very short killer with 4.6 m/s movement speed, its more easy to midgame survivors as her.
Her RBT are essentially useless since her EGC nerfs. The ambush attack can either be dodged easily OR if you miss its extremely punishing.

Pyramid Head, hands down. But Dunno how they would make the weapon since it kind of takes him an hour to swing. And also there's the troubles of getting a licence since Silent Hill is kind of dead, the brand that is.
Make the killer Claudia or even Maria EZ
-
The pig is the weakest by far.

Xenomorph would make the game seriously unplayable and just flat out dumb. It would ruin the game like Jason X almost completely ruined Friday The 13th.

No they dont have the speed boost. You fail to realize the amount of distance between you and the survivor stays exactly the same. As soon as you start vaulting the window they jump down and stay about halfway inside the house. Once they see you falling down they run right up the stairs, rinse and repeat.

Sure, I don't disagree with anything you've said. I've been pretty consistent on these forums in saying that map design is the single biggest balance issue in the game right now, with Haddonfield being at the top of that list.
I too have many, many hours in this game, and I know what is possible for the killer and what isn't. I can live with your definition of this loop being a semi-infinite, and giant waste of time to attempt a chase in.
My issue is the people who don’t even know that attacking in the direction you want to go while falling is quicker than simply falling. Or the people @justarandy who want to 1v1 over something that is not skill-based in the least. If you have good pathing, you will catch up as killer. Simple. (I'm not directing what I'm saying at you, now). It is those people I have an issue with because they make balance more difficult for the devs. They don't understand core game mechanics, and are very vocal in their whining. (even though - AGAIN - I agree that this Haddonfield house needs to be torn down, and the whole map remade)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/724537#Comment_724537
They still don't know how to make maps.
Would you stop being a rude person for like 3 seconds? You have zero proof as I just tried your little trick in a KYF lobby and guess what! It doesnt work since by the time your attack cooldown is done, just like I predicted, they're upstairs and at the window!
-
Everyones like "FIX THE CORE GAME FIRST!" Yeah okay well a game without content cant get new players and cant keep old ones around without dying. Its best the way it is now.

Read whatever you want. I don't know why, but I'm trying to help you get better at the game. You want to be stubborn and continue being a closed-minded, bad player? Fine. You do you.
Whining about infinites and then saying 'come fight me bruv' when you are proven wrong... That's hilarious. Players like you are the reason achieving balance is so difficult for the devs. A potato who thinks he isn't a potato (you) is a headache to deal with because he won't accept he is wrong, and is then super vocal in his whining.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/723783#Comment_723783
Did you read what I wrote? Brute-forcing it is good enough if you do what I said. And if your routing isn't very optimal, here is another tip: hide your red stain before quickly turning and vaulting the window. Be careful not to get stuck on any walls! I know that can be difficult for some players! Now the survivor player will hesitate for a split second before jumping down, allowing even low rank killers opportunity to catch up!
---------
Honestly, the consensus on the Asian servers is that the number of North American killer players who are potatoes is a really high number compared to actual good Killers. I didn't want to believe that, but talking to some of you, and seeing some of these clueless replies from players who seemingly have put almost no time into killers (otherwise why would you think this is an infinite when it clearly, clearly isn't) makes me wonder if they are right.
its funny youre so rude and just admitted you dont know how a good player plays this loop. They wait til you start the vault animation THEN jump down. By the time youre jumping down they are half way up the stairs you can 'swing' all you want but the distance will remain the same since idk if you knew this but missed attacks have cool downs.

If this is directed at the original post, no nerfs were asked for, just tips on how to beat it.
OP, it depends on the killer. Demo could take advantage of a well timed shred. I know the Clown catches flack but I find his bottles help a lot in loops. Huntress and her hatchets are loop enders. Also if you have it unlocked, beast of prey removes the red stain after getting blood lust, it can be helpful in long chases too.
See the problem with this chase is that the distance to travel is super short and by the time you have a wound up hatchet they're already back upstairs and demo cant do much since its outside the lunge reach
