No and i never will. I'm not into cheap jumpscares and to me that game looks like its made for kids under 10 years old. Sorry i have no love for it.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. Also the fan base is roughly the same age as the dbd player base. Not mention kids do play dbd too

Killer throwing cupcakes seems really scary... /S
How are you going to make huge robot stealth killer when you can hear their boots from miles away.
Sorry i just don't understand the fashionation about these FNAF toys.
Yes the calories alone is a killer alone ;D.
Freddy is the sneakiest but i wanted to add a jumpscare for Freddy.
Have you played the games?

Oh god I hope not.
I don't have a problem with normal spiders, but a huge one that runs at me with murderous intent would kind of bug me.
I honestly have Arachnophobia as well. But hey I'm still willing to play as a giant spider beast that bugs the survivors

I was more picturing this
Lol

While it is unlikely, I am still hoping for an original Spider-Killer for the Anniversary. I am simply fed up with licensed Content, 3 licensed Killers in one year is too much, especially because Sadako and Pinhead are not really exciting (at least for me).
While Anniversary Chapters have been licensed Content, a complete new approach to a Killer would be something worth for an Anniversary IMO, a Spider would bring a new Model, animations and probably tons of work going into this Killer.
But, very unlikely for the Anniversary.
It is likely, for example blight had scenes before he was in the game. It's just unknown when we are getting a spider based killer. If anything I think the anniversary killer might be Springtrap or Pennywise (note he's a spider like entity).
But if anything I think the spider based killer is more likely going to be an original killer chapter. I do believe it is possible to get a beast like killer as we have the Demogorgon
-
Just practice, that's what I did and I'm a blight main.
Blight takes practice, time, and muscle memory.
-
Exactly I honestly agree. In my opinion the killer is the threat to the survivors and if the killer is going after the unhooker and unhook body blocks it shows that they are fair game.

I was mainly talking about the animatronics themselves. The DbD community isn't that mature anyway so the FNaF playerbase won't realistically change anything.
I don't want more AI added to the game. Charlie and Margret are dumb enough as is
Ok

@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:
Why would you add children into the game
I'm sorry I'm confused. Do you mean the player base? Because the player base for FNAF is roughly the same age for dbd player base or did you meant for the four animatronics trying to kill you like in the first game. It's just concept idea mate. I would honestly prefer Springtrap as the killer with two ai animatronics.

@APoipleTurtle said:
Kinda feel like this would be a hard concept to realize without accidentally creating Twins 2.0.
Beyond Nova's concerns of how good they'd be at camping, I can see a couple other issues:
-If the idle bodies have collision, you could create unfair camping/hostage situations which guarantee the hooked/trapped survivor is unable to contribute to their objective for the remainder of the match (such as by using 3 characters to bodyblock all entrances to shack while someone is hooked or standing inside). And you'd still have another animatronic to continue pressuring the survivors while doing this.
-With so many extra characters, you could use idle animatronics to block hex totems and make them impossible to cleanse. I could see Ruin, Devour Hope, and maybe NOED quickly becoming staple perks on this killer.
They could obviously fix this by having the spare characters not have collision, but I'm not really sure how they'd get that to make sense with animatronic animals.
fair point with end game as they can camp easily and block the gates being powered. Mmm to make it fair the you can't spawn out when you're up by the gate nor can you spawn out near a hook.
-
@NoOneKnowsNova said:
Would have arguably the strongest end game of any killer with the ability to defend all the last three gens at once with, also sounds like a pretty boring power imo.
Not really as demo and ringu has a pretty strong 3 gen protection with their teleportation. But you did make fair point with end game as they can camp easily and block the gates being powered. Mmm to make it fair the you can't spawn out when you're up by the gate nor can you spawn out near a hook.

Oh I just read the title didn't really bother to read the discussion
-
New killer? Are you talking about the ringu killer? She's was only in the ptb, we literally don't know what she's going to be like coming into live. So don't ask for unnecessary nerfs before the killer even joins the game.
-
I just got lucky, I saw my friends playing survivor and I was playing their killer so I messaged them. And I got it done.
-
You can blame the MMR system for that.
Also most of the other killers can't keep up with high MMR. If you want more variety than lose multiple games. Or if you want more killer variety then you play all the killers you have.
-
I normally do this. I look around the area of the hook so to make sure there's no sneaky survivor around (because there's normally is, If I don't see them with bbq) If a survivor goes for the unhook with barrow time. I try to go for the unhooker. Unless the person who has the effect on them and runs to me and takes the hit. I'm going to go after them as punishment.
Killer is a threat, the person that's trying to kill the survivors.

That would be more in line with a pulled plug, where you literally disconnect from the game. Pressing "Leave Match" is not disconnecting from the game, it's a forfeit, hence why you're still in the results screen and are able to chat. That's what most people don't get with this topic.
It wasn't the plug in. The server crashed. And I got ######### punished because their server ######### crashed. It didn't take me to the main menu it took me to the killer menu.
-
Honestly I want Springtrap, if he does get added ya don't have to play as him. As I see it, it'll be a big opportunity for newer players to pick up dbd. Meaning less wait times and more content creators that love FNAF (which are roughly the same age as dbd players)
Well if someone he's a child kill so he wouldn't fit in. (That's not true!! In fnaf 3 and FNAF pizzeria simulator, he's out to kill you aka the guard which isn't a kid.) Also we had the pedo Freddy so it's not to far of a stretch to have Springtrap.
If they say he wouldn't fit in.. I will simply say so angsty teenagers and a k pop star can fit in but a corpse inside of an animatronic is out to kill.
Also I think a map inside of an abandon pizzeria would be pretty cool.
-
@danielmaster87 said:
That's what happens when you make a game that can't differentiate between "Leave Match" and a pulled plug or a closed application.
None of that happened. I got disconnected from host when I was hooking/killing a survivor

why I said it but it happen with other killers(on PS4) luckily when it happen with blight the match was almost over EGC was almost at an end.
I'm on PS4 and the last gen popped as soon as I was about to hook the survivor

@NekoGamerX said:

Depends if the hex is in a "good" spot.
My last game ruin lasted for the whole game.
Games before it pops as soon as the game starts.
Hexes are pretty weak ever since boons entered the game
-
So you decided to cry instead of getting better at the game? Why do you want a buff to the wait time? I can understand why you are getting so many blight games. You rush the gens and survive and MMR up, blight is current best killer in game. Everyone knows that blight and nurse are the best at very high MMR
-
@landromat said:
He has no counter. You can't do crap against good blight and he needs nerfs. Strongest killer besides nurse? Nerf her too so we finally have somewhat balanced killer roster
He does have counters and both blight and nurse are very tricky to play, you need a lot of practice with them, besides if the game nerf their best killers then it'll buff to the wait time. And I personally like a challenge against a good blight player. And I honestly think he doesn't need any changes true alchemist alchemist ring needs a change but that's it.
-
It's just a bug, I play on PS4 and the same thing has happened to me.
-
if I hit a survivor who unhooks you and you go to body block me from downing that survivor, you're going to get tunnelled and slugged for a minute. Also it's the killers job to kill.

Yeah but I hardly stream anymore.

It's very hard to solve the box while being targeted by chains, you need to watch where the chain will spawn, seek cover and start solving before the chain is gone. I am not sure if that is intended as chains will not spawn during the solving of the box. One alternative would be to keep the progress between attempts instead of resetting it and another could be still attaching the chains during the solving but not interrupting it.
Well it was interrupting it because he had a survivor on his back and he was across the map
-
@ShinobuSK said:
If chains start to harassing you since you picked up the box, you need to dodge 2 chains and then you should have time window to solve the box without issues
The didn't spawn in until timer ended and he had a survivor on his back. It refuse to let me solve it
-
@dugman said:
You are correct, in patch 5.4.0 it mentions fixing a bug that says chains are not supposed to automatically attack you while solving the box
- Fixed an issue that may cause survivors to be attacked by the Chain Hunt while they are solving the Lament Configuration.
If you have a video of it you might want to submit a bug report.
Sadly I wasn't recording

@LeeONE said:
This can encourage survivors to sabotage them, right now you can kinda predict it anyway, so why not? And predicting some comments about how bad are killers now, and why buff suvivors, I'd better had interaction between survivor and killer, because sabo'ing requiers, well, survivor and his time, than just that survivor sitting on gen, I hope that there will be more powerfull scourge hook perks in future so survivors actually be scared of them, and to counter them, they can sabotage them
No, unless you're willing to have every hook to be scourge for now on.

The title made it seem like you had some controversial take on the idea of FNAF being in the game, which is why I was interested, since most posts I do see and gloss over are the same copy pasted "here's why springtrap would be good in DBD", and never posts explaining why they DON'T want it in the game.
But I guess that's my fault, I guess I have to play the guessing game because you decided to make the title this for god knows what reason.
I changed the title, now

@SunsetSherbet said:
Why add in the villain of the third game and not the villain and character the series is named after?
"But several games in they reveal he's the mastermind!" I mean, I don't care and neither do 99.9% of people. If you're gonna make a FNAF chapter, anyone but Freddy is silly, because you need to drum up hype from non-FNAF fans. And some non-fnaf fans will recognize Freddy. Only FNAF fans know who springtrap is or his significance. Putting him in over Freddy is akin to making Doctor Wynn the killer and not Michael Myers for the Halloween chapter, because he ends up being the true big bad like 6 films in.
Springtrap is the killer main killer who killed those kids and they returned as animatronics. He also destroyed those animatronics. Also it will make people play the FNAF games too

??? The game and the fanbase isn't an issue. The issue is the creator would get royalties. I'm sorry you lack empathy to the point considering human rights for minorities is "insufferable" to you. Must be tough.
Isn't an issue. You made that very clear it was. I didn't say anything about politics in my discussion. I all I said is that I wanted the character in game that's it.

By making a new thread for something that's already got a relevant thread, and with a vague title?
No, it's annoying. It's annoying when people make a bunch of duplicate threads for everything else, but at least those are generally talking about what's actually in the game rather than mostly talking about a completely different one.
I didn't break no rules also how was the title vague? I said in the title it was "my thoughts on Springtrap" my thoughts meaning me, no one else just me. And I was talking about FNAF joining dbd
No one forced you to come in. You're upset because I happen to want Springtrap.

I played against a slinger some hundred matches ago. He was very good. Shooting through holes I don't even know existed. I don't remember the outcome but I got ######### on. If you're not going against a deathsquad, let's say, "high mmr but not high enough to go against deathsquads eveyr other match", he's viable. I can't say the same about trickster.
I was just naming examples. I honestly think slinger is way weaker after they gutted him. Trickster and twins are honestly the weakest for me.
-
@Mercês said:
I play Nurse amnd Spirit and when I'm surviving I play against nurses and blights, 90% of my matches.
Well that does make sense as blights and nurses are the strongest killers in game. You won't see killer slinger or trickster at high mmr as they are weak killers
-
I had survivors did that to me so I slugged them and let them bleed out
-
Nerf those killers... Buff que times.
DBD needs some good killers, here's some advice mate play those killers until you get high MMR.

COULROPHOBIA - it's literally useless
