Agree with most of them other than clown and hag. He's already spammy enough without being able to get another bottle in a few seconds
He needs something..hes so weak it's a joke

You can always tunnel a person off her hook, which is why ds became popular in the first place
Yet thsts not exactly what I'm referring to..mid game the perk does what it should..its end game that bothers me

I made many posts talking about how the new system would work!
Hmm..its tricky I suppose

I'm okay with the survivor dying in the EGC, I just don't like to die when that's my only option left because the Exit Gates spawn on the same wall.
I'm also in favor of balancing opposite Exit Gates, make them more fair to the killer. 🤗😁
Perhaps..I just feel like making it an even 50 50 isnt fair either because as iterated..said survivor has already failed to escape twice

I'm one of those people, because I don't believe in your odds being reduced to 0% is fair at all. The same applies to the killer because they have those situations too when the gates spawn opposite to each other. 😁🤗
Yet that's not the only time is it ? What bothers me is as killer you make a minor mistake and you pay for it by potentially losing the game entirely..yet even when the team fails as survivor the killer has to play a boring version of hide and seek just to prevent a severe hit to emblems due to a mechanic that's nothing more than a handout with no need to earn it..this same mechanic also encourages team mates to give up even when victory is possible just to hide for the hatch..that in my eyes is the real issue here
-
Basically half the survivor meta perks as they have little to no counterplay and are getting more and more of it removed..plus the ways survivors can boost their capabilities far exceeds that of any killer augmentations , especially with nurses old addons hammered out
-
Honestly its fortunate survivors get one last escape attempt at sll..the fact that people believe escape should still be constant after not one but two failures astounds me

It is powerful at the endgame but you always have the option to eat them on the start of the match. That is what I do
You dont always have that luxury...its a lose lose scenario

What is your fear and your game is over seem like theyd be great anti-super altruistic teammates, like ones who hang around for a flashlight save. The only problem I'd see is with dont like to lose/bend the rules because there are some very hard to find totem spawns in the map and combining that with something like devour does seem rather cheap especially if it would be a more than one use perk since you could theoretically keep bouncing it around to prevent it from being cleansed until there were no other totems. (This is from a killer main btw)
No more cheap than detectives hunch or small game pinpointing where the totems are

Getting complimented on your killer skills really is a refreshing experiance

The perk isnt healthy..never has been..but rather a necessary evil..however I do say its end game effects should he looked into

For me, I don't see the issue with chain looping tiles because often that requires some thinking, unless you really really know the map.
The problem for me is that many survivors know how strong this loop is. Heck, I do as a survivor. lol So once the entity is no longer blocking it, the next survivors goes back to that same loop. preserving the rest of the pallets that they would have otherwise used if they didn't have this strong loop fresh and ready to go throughout the whole match.
This keeps how strong it is, but as @PistolTimb pointed out it doesn't punish the killer for the window simply being there the whole time.
Perhaps..but even if it was only used a couple of times that kind of chase can cost a killer the match
-
Interesting g but then all that would occur is the windows being used to chain with other tiles..therefore keeping the issue present..but the creativity is indeed interesting
-
Not a huntress main but..I think I know my stuff..so first things first..perks..she has a few options..chase assisting perks arnt completely necessary as her power has that covered..bamboozle isnt bad though..I however run ruin , bbq, I'm all ears, and nurses..huntress is a killer that much like nurse thrives on information..her power handles the chase by punishing poorly timed pallet drops and window vaults..She also has a fine selection of addons .mana grass braid and flower babushka are always a good choice..exaustion addons arnt bad for denting dead hard. I also like the yellow handle addon..oak haft or something , nice to reduce that after throw delay.
As for gameplay huntress is the number one sufferer of map deoendance in dbd..her slow movement speed along with terrain hitboxes make some loops brutally hard for her..your three options on maps saturated in strong loops are 1, try to predict and punish a pallet drops..but if you guess wrong it pretty much resets the loop..leaving you to brute force the pallet down or leave to try and snag a new victim. When in chase in the open good survivors will swerve around..much like an old arcade game you need to learn to aim and fire hatchets at where you think they will dodge to and not where they are if they do this..going for a hatchet hit to apply injured is best as it can make your addons work better and since you dont blade wipe you can catch up quick and in some cases "double tap" them to dying state using m1 or an additional hatchet..other than that..you just learn what huntress can do at each tile through practice and mind games..pretty much all you can do

Nurse needed a nerf, no question about it. However, now her base speed needs a small buff. I think 4.2 base speed or at least 4.0 base speed would be more appropriate. Right now she is one of the weakest killer by kill rate across all platforms based on your released killer stats. Her learning curve is now steeper because you must choose wisely when where to blink (which is fine) but why put yourself trough all that hassle just to have a low/mid tier killer.
By increasing her base speed a little, she would remain the slowest killer, but would almost certainly increase her kill rate while maintaining the blink restrictions and high learning curve.
Or they could just nerf any issue addons..and return her base kit so we can play nurse like shes designed to be played..her addons were slaughtered and that was the core issue

Or better yet, if they were to stream (which most of them do) then they could do it at a reasonable time? I know I sure preform worse while tired.
My issue is they only play like..4 of the cast

I want the devs to play their own game from midnight to 2am (PST so 3am to 5am their time) and stream it so we can all see them get STOMPED by all the SWF teams who are awake on the other side of the world so then they can finally understand our pain.
Lol itd be interesting

Yes, she can but she can still blink, it's just weird, I get the nurse stun score event, but she somehow is able to blink.
And what region do you play? cause literally all my games are spirit/nurse and pigs (I dont complain about them anyway)
And there was a yellow addon that every nurse used, so idk what you're talking about...
The pocket watch literally did so little I called it her training addon..and I'm sorry but if several fog whisperers and streamers who play this game for a living dont see her...yeah I'm gonna call nonsense on that one

Ignorant is thinking that nurse is weak, do you play in PC :)?
And yes she does, survivors most effectives defense are pallets and windows (looping) she ignores looping cause she CAN BLINK TROUGH pallets, and she should no have her basekit back.
One of the main problem was how little time you had to lose LOS against old nurse because the fatigue was really short and could be decreased by addons, so they added the cooldown.
Old nurse base kit was Medium Risk/ High reward
And a killer that can ignore survivors defense should have a high risk / high reward.
Lol can she still get pallet stunned? Last I checked she still has to play around those..and her stats and playrate prove her weakness..pc is full of scrubs and even there shes unseen anymore..says all I needed to know to confirm my inquiry I put in to the subject..she also had 1 weak addon for reducing fatigue nobody even used lol..seems you know next to nothing about nurse from killer perspective..however I'm not surprised at all
-
Seems to me they are lacking on the one as 1 hear it

She's fine as she is, everyone fun is subjective, we can't balance around fun.
Some people fun is to 4k every match, should we get the old nurse back so those people can be "happy" ?
Cooldown could be decreased to 1,5 seconds or 2 but that's all, you failed using the nurse power's and you should get punished for it, cause it is a high risk / high reward, as HOW it is supossed to be, being able to ignore survivors defense SHOULD BE HEAVILY PUNISH.
She doesnt ignore anything that's an ignorant argument, she just interacts in a different way ..and no she should have her base kit back..her addons have been quashed..she deserves to have a high ceiling as she is by far more difficult than anything else in dbd..
-
Shes weaker than people think..a killer doesnt just vanish like nurse does unless there is an issue..just hoping the devs put her base kit back and adjust her addons as needed..and rework that 3 blink addon entirely..its a joke

Buff the percentage by one and remove the obsession buff in favor of the immunity..boom..decent perk with a downside but not one that makes the perk pointless

Probably because scaling.
Buffs are additive and have linear scaling.
Debuffs are multiplicative and have exponential scaling.
That means that you can stack buffs quite a lot before it becomes ridiculous, but you only need to stack debuffs a little bit for it to reach the same level of ridiculous.
For example if we have a 20% buff and 20% debuff active at once, the debuff will actually override the buff. The game measures things in charges per second and for this scenario the c/s would be 1.2 * 0.8 = 0.96. So you are doing whatever it is SLOWER than normal, even though both the buff and debuff are the same value. It's not as simple as they just cancel out each other.
Yet the debuffs are all so weak it doesnt matter..meanwhile one guy running well make it can override every antiheal perk and then some..plus..survivors in their base can double stack a gen and cut the time in half essentially without any perks, items,.or addons which can ALL stack at the same time..Looks to me theres a tiny tiny bit of double standard here

It's less about that investment or how difficult is to manage the hatchet itself and more about the 'Old Legion Effect'. Remember when a single hit from Legion cause 4 DC's on the next 5 seconds? Iri heads are following that path.
In the end, the survivors don't see the investments that the user put on the iri heads or to learn huntress and the hatchets and it's not their fault, they actually are not playing playing with the same player as killer over and over to see him progress on the game, that's why many of them think it's unfair. You are minding your own business, playing a game and then you gotta face a insta ranged insta-down.
There is a lot of merit to pulling it off if you are brave enough to use it without belts and even tho belts make it way way less punishable, still requires investment, as you said, but no one except the killer knows how much it costed for him.
So, in the end, as I stated on the opening post of the thread, it needs to be something fair not only for the killer, but for the survivors too. (note that when I say fair for both, doesn't actually mean that it does have the same power for both sides, as the killer is acting allow and has one objective and the survs are a team of 4 with 3 lives each and has another objective.)
Perhaps..however bhvr has been making killer iridescent quite pathetic lately...so far doctors iris may be the only two that stay decent after his change..I wouldnt mind an iri head change so much if I wasnt certain itd be made too weak or too costly to ever pick up

I play both and I think there are strong perks for each side. Killers have hex ruin, albeit spawn locations need a rework. They also have thanatophobia, noed, Moris, and many more. It’s about finding the best build for your killer and play style.
Plus killer is faster so giving survivors a 3 second speed boost is hardly a game changer, especially with killer lungs. Toolboxes can be annoying but you could run Franklins and knock them out if survivors hands. There are options.
Lol Franklin's..you cant be serious..and thana? That perk is easily trumped and requires 4 injuries to do anything at all..hex ruin has a huge hole and totem spots wont fix anything thanks to newly buffed detectives hunch..the power gap on perks is so wide its stupid

True, what's your point?
edit: I'll elaborate - everything you listed is extremely subjective (as was what i replied). Essentially when comparing killer's kit (powers/addons/perks) and survivors' kit (items/addons etc) you're comparing apples with oranges. They are different in their function, impact and use. In other words you cant build an argument on the basis of survivor's items are stronger than a killers' addons, because they can stack them up to 4 times. It makes no logical sense.
It makes perfect sense but what I mentioned specifically is why survivors are allowed to carelessly stack crazy gen speed increases and it's considered fine..however why sort of killer debuff perk or effect is made as weak as possible and it makes no sense at all
-
@ABannedCat said:
Don't forget perks and items that outright hard-counter certain killer powers. Urban evasion and/or flashlight making Hag obsolete. Calm Spirit makes Doc an M1 killer. Spine Chill hard counters stealth killers and Spirit.
The only equivalent killers have is exhaustion add-ons for Huntress, Clown, and Doctor. The latter of which is confirmed to get removed in the upcoming
nerfrework.Or how clown is supposed to be a chaser but is bad at it...yes its quite..perplexing
-
@Accullla said:
You could argue that survivor items are relatively as powerful as killer add-ons. Both are stackable under certain circumstances
Yet survivors can stack their up to 4 times with no real downsides to almost anything they have

Nurses 3 blink addon
Its aggravating, buggy, and not at all interesting
I'd change it to grant an aura read on a survivor hit by a blink attack, useful for nurse without being broken, and helps on nurses worse maps
-
Iri heads are totally overrated..they require a huge investment to even be usable..and if your getting nailed by hatchets that often you were screwed anyway..though people hate to admit that fact..iri heads are 1 shots in exchange for a harder time landing hits with very little ammo
-
Oni himself is the issue..not the pkatform..his power has holes in it
