I was playing against a toxic SWF and somehow they hacked the chase music to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
-
Writing forum posts like this is also toxic, so please stop. Thanks.
-
It takes 80 seconds to repair a gen, so in 90 seconds 3 gens could pop if you chase only one survivor during that time.
-
Against BBQ it is not that good, because you know exactly where the killer is at the time of hooking. So I would not put it S. Maybe B+.

Hey forum!
I’ve recently come back to playing after taking a few weeks off, playing other games. I’m just finding generators popping so fast now, I’m not sure what’s going on.
I find a survivor at the start of a game, boom 2 generators are about to get done. It seems like I used to play a mixed bunch, of amateurs and good players. Now it seems everyone is an absolute god, knows all the loops, safe pallets. It’s topped off with BM, which actually does annoy me. I play fairly, but that gets me gen rushed.
######### am I supposed to do, I’m rank 1 again but I feel like a noob. I don’t feel like I’m a killer hunting 4 survivors, I feel like 4 survivors are just ######### with me.
Not sure what are you complaining about. You are rank 1, so you know how to play, and getting good results, otherwise you would lose your rank.
Your issue is that you don't get 4 kill games? That survivors do gens? Or you had a bad match?
Stop complaining please.

This fast reply from MandyTalk is suspicious :D
What I think: They are still working on it, because it is not perfect, but to test it they have to often turn it on, or turn it on for a subset of users. But they can't admit that they are doing it, because all the outrage it could generate from the players that like to complain about everything.
-
Counterplay: After a skill check you let the gen go for a moment and then continue repairing?
-
I usually prestige twice with 1M bloodpoints.
-
That's why I will run Infectious Fright
-
I also have this feeling.
They said that they are working on an MMR based matchmaking system, so it is not a secret.
When they say it is not turned on, I think they mean it is not officially and permanently turned on. Most likely for testing purposes they turn it on sometimes.
-
At least you know what it is like to play against red ranks.
-
How to do it: Put on the self care perk. Just simply 99% your healing in the corner and finish the self heal when killer is within 10 meters. Done.

I dont know what was being thought when he was nerfed I literally had to play m1 billy the only time I used my chainsaw was to move because every other time I used it a grand ma with crutches could get faster than his saw now like why. And to think that wraiths base speed without the addons is going to be a bit slower than Billy. Like he is what 185% wraith is going to be 160%
(Just me mourning over my Billy days :(
First time playing him since nerf
I just had a match against Billy around 30 minutes ago, who DCd. Was it you?

First game on today allread 3 ds unbreakable gets the biggest map as huntress and they were a solid team I'm not sure how to feel about mmr if this is what I'm gonna get very often
Game 2 probably a swf 4 flashlights with one being a last sec swap 3 ds 1 ds unbreakable barely won a 3 gen with a basement in the middle carried me that game
Note I'm gonna keep track of my games for a bit but I just started downloading a new one and my wifi donent like it when I play and download
Ok, it was hard, meta perks... but what was the result? How many hooks, how many kills? Also what rank are you?
-
Tomorrow is rank reset, so they want to toxic around before it happens.
-
It happens to me quite often that I catch someone at a gen, and then I get DS... I wasn't tunneling that person, they were using DS offensively. So I am happy for the nerf.

I've been playing nurse recently, I'm new and on console. Yet everytime I play her I'm thrown in rank one lobbies even though I'm green ranks. Of course I'm bullied, and teabagged the whole ######### time. The perk line ups are always BT,DH,DS,Iron Will. Like what the hell are you getting out of even playing the game like this you childish asshats.
Why does teabagging trigger people so much?
And I don't believe you that it is always red ranks, I think you are exaggerating. Do screenshots of ALL your games and post them here as a proof.
I think you are frustrated only because you are new to nurse and don't know how to play with her good.
-
No video, no screenshot of survivor perks...
You really think we can tell based on this?
-
Why not both?
-
I also had a bad feeling of the game map as a killer. They were just running to the next pallet and dropping it, and it seemed like they never run out of pallets.
-
Survivor: Red, because that's when I get the most competent team members.
Killer: Red, Purple. Otherwise it is not challenging.
-
I don't feel it toxic. Maybe because I don't get triggered by Tbagging, flaslight clicking or vault spamming. Sometimes I get tunneled, but I accept that it can happen. Camping is also not toxic to me, I am just sometimes sad when I see all my teammates crouching around instead of doing gens. End game chat can sometimes get interesting, but I find it usually just funny.

Why is it always come 11 pm at night and all the toxic sweaty twatts apear
Because you play at 11pm.
-
In theory there should be 4 times more survivor challenges, right? Because you need 4 survivors and 1 killer in a game. So if it is half-half, it is already pulling in more killers and reducing survivor queue times.
-
Body blocking and flashlight stunning is not toxic behavior. Tbagging maybe..., but, is pressing Ctrl button toxic? If someone is rush-vaulting a window over and over to mess with loud notifications... maybe it is toxic, but at least you know where is one survivor and you know the survivor is not doing a gen.
My advice is to accept the fact that these are valid behaviors, that there are better players or teams than you, and you will often not win / get many hooks. Or just stop playing if you can't handle this.

The new killer or survivor for example
Ok, if you don't want to level up any existing character and are waiting for the new it makes sense.

Why is it good to save the bloodpoints?

I hear people complain about toxicity a lot. I'm curious what people think on this one.
EDIT: "Changed from BHVR have a responsibility to should they". Didn't intend the harsh language
First please define what does toxic mean. Or at least give examples. This term is very overused so some clarification is needed.

But then the whole game would be SWF which would be 20 times worse xd
But then it will be easier to balance.
-
Maybe they should add voice chat communication like e.g. in Counter Strike. Then all survivors, even solo, could talk to each other.
-
Not ideal, but another quick solution is simply just don't be pissed if you lose against an SWF. You know they are an SWF, you know it is hard, so then just accept that they will most likely easily win.
-
The leadership of ISC (International Survivor Community) already discussed this and the result was that it will never be accepted.
-
Yes. Trust me, I'm a lawyer.
-
Chinese new year that was recently
-
Forgot to mention, that hiding in locker will also deactivate the DS.
-
Update: I got a reply from the Devs and they confirmed that this will be added in the new chapter release.

that's a horrible idea. killers could force a 3-gen, hard camp it, and then just win by timing out.
playing against immersed survivors isn't fun but there isn't a simple fix.
The current situation is also not good, that side wins who has more patience. A global timer would remove this patience game.
-
I have no problem playing against a killer with bbq. Try using Kindred, then you see in which direction is the killer walking after a hook.
I also like bbq when playing as killer and I am highly against making it a hex perk.
-
This was back when you could grab the survivor when jumping out through the hatch. A survivor was tbagging on top of the hatch. I was playing spirit, got there and grabbed the survivor mid jump. :D
-
There is always someone complaining how hard is the killer/survivor role and how easy and enjoyable is the other. How one side is getting all the good perks and buffs, and the other is just getting nerfed.
-
LOL... This is one of the most nonsense threads ever

I don't think that would help. Honestly when you get to low purple high red ranks people just wait it out anyway. I have taken DS off now and if there is an obsession the killer just assumes you have it anyway. There are some circumstances where they just pick you up even if you do have it, they just eat it and then tunnel you again anyway. I personally think the only way it gets annoying for the killer is if everyone has it and they abuse it. I've changed from DS to Unbreakable now hoping they respect the potential DS and if they pick me up, well they probably would of just tunnled me again afterwards anyway.
The Dev's have basically killed the perk. it's not going to be meta. Can you imagine if they changed NOED! The amount of end game build that revolve around that HEX is wrong. I've played against killers who cant even land half of their swings but NOED clutched the game for them. if you find the totem then you are laughing but some maps are really hard :)
If they wait it out they will lose gens. So waiting it out is not a good strategy.

@Mastermind said:
On the contrary, it should also be disabled when a survivor in chase heroically jumps into a locker in front of the killer's face.
Maybe, but it is a separate question, deserving a separate thread.
-
In simpler words: "I am a noob snowflake."
-
I think unlucky, I am getting pretty balanced matches. Killers and survivors with similar rank as me.
However don't play survivior when the queue is long, it will result in poorer matchmaking.
-
Lower your expectations and don't go for 4k, be satisfied with 3k as well. It will help a lot. Also accept the fact that there are keys and they can escape using that. So don't be upset about it, just learn to handle the fact that survivors escape.
If you don't like maps, then use map offerings.
If there is a key in play, maybe you just have the illusion that the match is going well, because instead of repairing gens they are looking for the hatch.
Or if you really can't handle it, then play survivor or some other game, like Civilization.

I am so sick and tired of getting absolutely blown out every single game by survive with friends. Its literally night and day when I play against a 4 man survive with friends and a game where there are only 2 people teamed up or solo survivors.
I have a few solutions on how the devs can fix or improve the game.
1) Make it to where only 2 people can be grouped together to remove 4 man swf groups from the game. Many many many streamers who have hundreds upon hundreds of hours in this game keep saying that a killer is about as strong as a 2 man duo survivor squad.
2) Keep 4 man swf groups, but let killers select an option so that they can not match make against 4 man swf squads. It is so annoying loading into a 4 man swf lobby and then having to dodge over and over and over again, I would rather just wait in que afk doing something on my other monitor than having to leave 5-6 groups in a row. You can already choose if you want crossplay on or off, which is basically a "do I want to ONLY que into 4 man swf option" at least for PC players.
3) Buff solo survivor experience, can improve perks like kindred, add an in game text chat for survivors, add quickwheel callouts, or various other tools to make communication comparable to 4 man swf groups, and then buff killers accordingly.
I get that they are implementing an MMR system but how is it going to be balanced when you have swf groups who will have wildly different MMR's. Sure you can make it to where you just match make at the highest MMR, but that isn't fun for the group when they go against a really good killer, and the killer just kills everyone who isnt the best person in the lobby.
POTENTIAL COUNTER ARGUEMENTS
1) If you disable 4 man swf, people will stop playing the game.
2) If you let killers disable being able to que against 4 man swf, 4 man swf load times will increase, and people will stop playing the game.
3) The devs would actually have to rebalance a large portion of the game over a long time.
Counter Counter Arguements
1) I agree that the large majority of players play this game to play with their friends, so option 1 probably is just out of the question realistically.
2) This would also increase the que time for the killers doing so, and I don't think it would be that bad. Most people just tab out while they are in que and do other things as well, and overall this would be healthy to the game so I think more people would play it again. A lot of people I know personally have quit the game out of frustration because of 4 man swf squads, and at the end of the day you NEED killers to even have a game.
3) I dont see anything wrong with this, if they have to rebalance the whole game, a bunch of perks that might have been bad or never used might get changed or be tweaked or might suddenly be very good all of a sudden which would shake up the meta, make the game fresh, and cause a lot of players to experiment and find out whats good causing more people to play more games which overall would be very healthy for the game.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
I used to play this game 10 hours a day every single day, but now I find myself playing maybe 1 or 2 games a day just to clear out my dailies. The killer experience is absolutely miserable, and I am tired of getting destroyed every single game. "but lmao just GIT GUD" I just want to kick back, relax and play a couple games, I don't want to try very hard, I just want to have fun again. I really wish this game had a casual mode separate from the ranking system that offered more rewards/incentives because the blood web really is an awful progression model as well. I do not know how many times I have tried to play X killer but I do not have A,B,C or even D perks to make a build even viable to even play them at a comfortable level.
Let me know what you guys think, or have any comments or suggestions.
10 hours a day? How do you have time for that? Or are you a full time streamer?

I am sometimes a bit sad when I am destroying the survivors

With the survivor that statement is fair but with the killer we'd have a problem.
What problem?
