I was doing the stun or blind challenge. I pallet stunned the killer several times, but the challenge didn't register anything. I noticed this with other challenges. The workaround is that you need to deselect and then select again the challenge. It seems like if you open the game, the challenges are not active despite the fact that the UI shows them as selected.1 comments 51 views last activity

Just delete the Mori offerings, no need for them, they are trash. A simple killer pudding gives you more bloodpoints and more consistently.3 comments 91 views last activity

We often see this as a suggestion against camping: Stop the hook timer if the killer is in a certain range. Sure, it would make camping useless, but the counter argument is that survivors would abuse this by deliberately looping around the hook. I was wondering though... Is it really that big of an issue if another survivor deliberately loops around the hook to stop the timer? Or can't we add78 comments 1,061 views last activity

Imagine this or a similarly unfortunate situation: You are a survivor player, 1 person was already sacrificed, others have 1-2 hooks and still 4 gens are remaining. Why continue playing the match if there is no chance of escape? Basically all your remaining chance is the hatch, but it is not a good solution, because in theory then just all survivors should hide and hope the others get found, whi1 comments 51 views last activity

Finished gen increases completion time of other gens by 10 seconds ... And killed survivor reduces it by 30 seconds. Deal? No? What would be a fair deal? I think something like this could make the game more interesting and reduce genrush or situations where killers get 4k with 5 gens still remaining.9 comments 171 views last activity

How much prestige will I get on a killer that has all available (or nearly all) perks unlocked on tier 3? I hope it is going to be at least prestige 3.0 comments 41 views last activity

Playing one hour daily to keep up seems still a lot. It means you need to play 90 hours per DLC to have everything unlocked? There are 25+ DLCs, so it needs that a new player has to play 2000 hours to get everything unlocked? If you want to unlock only killer then based on this it should be around 1000k for a new player to go from zero to all killers maxed out on perks. It is a lot better, but0 comments 41 views last activity

Unlocking perks on tier 3 takes 150 levels based on the patch notes. It is a lot considering how many characters there are. Unlocking the bloody cosmetics would take now 300 levels 3+3 prestiges, which is really a lot. So I am suggesting to lower the number of levels to prestige to 40 instead of 50.0 comments 11 views last activity

If it messes up matchmaking then please add some penalty. Update: A max ping setting should be added, so that you can limit the servers you can connect to.62 comments 791 views last activity

Edges of the map are boring: often empty, survivors can be easily cornered. Also as a low mobility killer you are at a big disadvantage if you get to the edge. Solution: Borderless maps. There are no walls, the map just visually repeats itself. If you cross the boundary you get seamlessly teleported to the other side. Something like portals game, just here the whole border is a big portal.1 comments 91 views last activity

If game incentives are coming to the game, they could add a separate solo and a separate SWF queue to the game. Killers facing SWFs would most likely get higher bloodpoint multiplier. This way killers could decide if they want to face swf or solo players. UPDATE: Thanks guys for replying, but don't waste your time. It will be very easy to do heal farming: you don't heal up the injured survivor completely, but you wait until it regresses back, then you start healing again, and so on until you max out heal points.4 comments 91 views last activity

I couldn't hit the survivor healing someone who was in the dying state. This happened TWICE! Is this some weird bug or were they cheating? Otherwise I didn't notice any signs of cheating during the game, so I believe this is some weird bug. Did something like this ever happen to you? My idea for buffing sloppy butcher: it makes you broken for some time. Not sure what would be a good time, 30 seconds? Or more? Could be useful for hit and run playstyle.7 comments 211 views last activity

I was receiving messages like "4uk you" or "as hol" in the post game chat. Great to see the creativity of my fellow DBD players. On the other hand not sure what's the point of chat filter... It only makes communication harder but doesn't block people from insulting if they really want to insult. Do you also have such examples of creativity?0 comments 31 views last activity

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xi14WB2629A My opinion: A game is mainly fun (for both survivors and killers) if they know they have some chance of winning. Once it is obvious that one side has no chance of winning (escaping, sacrificing) the game loses a lot of fun in my opinion. That's when AFK, DC, hook suicides start to happen. It is also less fun for the winning side,19 comments 241 views last activity

Will I be able to buy the Ringu DLC, but pay for it only Soon™? E.g. when the grind is finally reduced e.g. by removing perk tiers. Why should I buy a new DLC if I have to spend like 100+ hours to be able to fully enjoy it with all the available perks in this game? Why should I buy special paid outfits, if most characters will be never leveled up and I will never actually play them?36 comments 671 views last activity

With the grade rewards I have around 3 million BPs now. I was thinking about not playing until the Ringu release so that I can put all of this into the new killer and survivor. I was playing too much lately so a break would be fine. Unless of course they remove the BP cap, then probably I would play in the meantime as well. Anyone else in a similar situation?24 comments 1,551 views last activity

Currently each survivor has to be hooked 3 times (or go through 3 hook stages) to be sacrificed. So it is relatively easy to tunnel a single survivor out or camp them to death (Bubba). My suggestion: Each survivor has to be hooked only 2 times to be sacrificed (or go through 2 hook stages), BUT there are 4 hook stages shared between survivors. It means that the first 4 hooks or hook stages w40 comments 291 views last activity

There are a lot of perks in this game. What if the devs would just simply remove underused perks instead of trying to buff or rework them? For the devs this would keep the game smaller and easier to manage. For players it would remove some grind and also make it simpler for new players.5 comments 71 views last activity

During the Q&A they said that it is difficult to remove perk tiers. Why? Also they mentioned that it would not be a good long term solution, because the grind is increasing exponentially with new DLCs. I agree that it is not a good long term solution, but it would be a good intermediate solution. And a sidenote: the grind is increasing quadratically, not exponentially (with DLC releases).69 comments 2,081 views last activity

Dear Q&A moderator: please don't waste 1-2 minutes to pronounce the question author's username. It is not funny and nobody really cares. We just want to hear the question and the answer. During the last Q&A during every question you wasted a minute to try to figure out how to pronounce someone's username.4 comments 81 views last activity

Don't ask questions to which the answer is yes/no. Try formulating your questions so that it starts like "How ... ?" or "Why ... ?", "What ... ?", etc. Examples: BAD: Will you buff XY perk? Good: Why does it take so long to buff underused perks? Good: What perk changes are planned for the next quarter? BAD: Is the grind going to be removed? Good: Why is still so much grind required for0 comments 31 views last activity

I write a completely polite message, but then the chat filter converts it to "you #### #######". Now it looks like I was cursing at them. Thanks chat filter. Please remove the chat filter, those who want to insult can still do it (e.g. by slightly altering the letters in the words). Those who get offended by these chat messages should just disable the chat.2 comments 11 views last activity

It is just simply too powerful against soloQ. My idea: survivors should know at the start of the match that killer has NOED and should have a totemcounter.126 comments 1,221 views last activity

Would it be too OP buff if Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable would be basekit? Would this eliminate tunneling and slugging? What would be the new meta if these perks would be basekit? By basekit I mean that you don't need to equip these perks, you have them all the time.44 comments 541 views last activity

Boon totems on multi floor maps should have effect only on the floor where they are. I.e. the area of effect should be: sphere intersected with floor. Otherwise boon totems are too OP on multi floor maps.11 comments 81 views last activity

So sometimes you face cheaters in this game. But what would happen if a cheater survivor and a cheater killer would face each other? Who would win?21 comments 281 views last activity

What would happen if only one survivor would be allowed to escape? This change would spice up the game a bit. At the start the survivors need to cooperate to not get killed. But as we get to the end of the game they need to get more and more selfish. What do you think? Any ideas how could this concept work?27 comments 532 views last activity

Remember, they used to say that it is hidden, so that we can't figure out the math behind sbmm, what is the win condition, etc. Well, they explained the sbmm details during the Q&A, so why is it still hidden? Now they say they don't want to show it so that there is no elitism among the players. But this is weird, where would this elitism present itself? Here on the forums? Here are the answers: - How do I read this username? What would you think about the following: Every 2 weeks devs check the 10 most used and 10 least used perks (survivor and killer separately). Then the devs slightly nerf the numbers on the most used perks and buff the numbers on the least used perks. Example: Pop goes the weasel is used a lot, so we nerf it down from 25 percent regression to only 22.5 percent. What do you think about this? (P4 comments 41 views last activity

Right now if you fire the chain you have to wait until you hit some obstacle or until the chain reaches the max distance. Often however you know that you fired the chain incorrectly and it would be good to cancel the chain immediately, e.g. by pressing CTRL.3 comments 11 views last activity

I played a lot of Cenobite recently, but I just can't handle the "The Game" map. I am always getting 0k games with very few hooks. My issues: - There are too many pallets I just need to eat and my power doesn't really help with them. - The loops are quite long, if I manage to chain them by the time I get to them they are already free and often next to a pallet. - Many line of sight breakers,9 comments 201 views last activity

So I noticed that good survivors can very easily dodge my chain attacks. They just quickly move to the side before getting hit by it. There is no way to correct the chain after this and I miss. How do you deal with this? Right now I feel that Cenobite's power is useless against good survivors.5 comments 131 views last activity

As you can see you can't break the pallet from the stair side. From the other side it is breakable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZz-ZNV1nsY Platform: PC1 comments 21 views last activity
