Is it useful to cast the gateway far away? If you cast it far away, the survivors have plenty of time to get free and run away. Maybe only if you use some other add-ons like injury, etc. So on its own the add-on which increases the range is probably pointless. Let me know what you think or if you have some good long-distance strategies.9 comments 141 views last activity

It happened to me multiple times that I hear a sparking noise, I look around like crazy, but the box is not there. Is it a possible bug? Example of the noise: https://youtu.be/7taVsF8u-fc4 comments 21 views last activity

Why to show the grades of other players on the match result screen? It does not have too much meaning, just says how much the player played since the last monthly reset. So just hide it IMO.9 comments 471 views last activity

Simple workaround: Lower your MMR by not using the META perks and not using strong items/add-ons. (You will start to lose more this way and your MMR will go down.)33 comments 501 views last activity

Is this how a real life Dwight would look like? Here are two versions. Let me know if you would like to see other characters as well.12 comments 221 views last activity

I was playing many games with Trickster. I am rank 3 and most of the time getting coordinated swfs or really competent survivors who know how to loop and coordinate each other. I am struggling to get even a few hooks. They are just playing with me, having fun how much they can screw me. Not even scared of me. It is hard to use his blades if survivors can break line of sight easily... And usually17 comments 131 views last activity

Increase the DC penalty if a survivor DCs during: - A chase - 90 seconds after being downed - While being carried - While being hooked DCing during these actions can seriously affect the killer.11 comments 61 views last activity

Do you chase good loopers in shack? From my experience you will need to run three times the window and then eat the pallet. Then they can extend the chase at a neraby TL or jungle gym. So it takes quite some time to get them, and the gens will fly during this time. So do you chase them in shack or just give up the chase?19 comments 251 views last activity

I tried to play nice and "survivor friendly"... But it just doesn't work. I can't afford 4 people to sit on gens. Survivors are not playing "killer friendly", they are just pushing gens without even healing. Especially these SWFs are completely destroying me. Maybe it is also because I play weaker killers like Trickster. Sometimes it takes a lot of time until I manage to down a competent survivo142 comments 2,591 views last activity

These survivors aren't even healing and the gens are flying liķe crazy. They finish the gens in front of me, before I coild use pop goes the weasel. Or often I see with bbq that they are doing gen on the opposite side of map, no chance of stoping the gen.7 comments 51 views last activity

But what should I do against 4 iron wills? It was impossible to follow the survivors, especially now with the scratch marks appearing a bit delayed. I am also not a very good spirit player, so hints are welcome.24 comments 291 views last activity

Allow the killer to drop pallets. This would shake up quite a bit the chases and the overall strategy. Not sure if good or bad idea, let me know what you think.32 comments 251 views last activity

Sometimes (seems to be random when it happens) you can't rotate the killer in the lobby after the survivors have appeared. Sometimes it is working, sometimes not. I am not sure what triggers this bug. There are only a few times when we can actually see the killer skin, so it would be good to fix this. Platform: PC0 comments 11 views last activity

After you sacrifice someone, the hooks still emit the crying survivor noises.0 comments 21 views last activity

Hi guys, i was getting pretty balanced matches recently, often ending in 2k 2e. I played both killer and survivor (swf). What about you guys?5 comments 31 views last activity

Idea: Make the perks from the base game, the perks from purchased DLCs and the perks bought from the shrine immediately available to all characters. I.e. it is not needed to buy the perks from bloodweb, the perks are immediately available and on max tier. Benefits for players: - Removes a lot of grind for players who would like to play various characters and perks but don't have a lot o23 comments 311 views last activity

Use enums or constants in the code when referring to killers. This could prevent bugs similar to what happened during the last sbmm test, which was caused by mistyping Hillbilly.1 comments 11 views last activity

Ranks should be hidden during MMR tests. Everyone is just focusing on the ranks in their reports, instead of how hard/easy the match was. It is not enough to write down that ranks don't matter, it should be hidden.6 comments 41 views last activity

Just remember the totem locations when you see them. If you cleanse totems it could happen that the last totem will be hidden somewhere where you can't find it.41 comments 961 views last activity

The idea is that there should be some time limit on the length of a match. If it runs out, survivors are auto-sacrificed, similarly like after end game collapse. This would make the matches more interesting, different strategies need to be used based on the remaining time, and also prevents the matches from taking forever because of survivors hiding in lockers or healing in the corners. I think only 4 man SWFs should be allowed to play survivors. Solo survivor mode should be removed from the game. What do you think? This would also solve the issues with SWFs being stronger than soloQ.40 comments 431 views last activity

Remember, they said that they are changing the HUD, because they need the flexibility to add more stuff in the future? Maybe they were preparing for the RE chapter?0 comments 41 views last activity

Some random dude that you don't even know is doing it in DBD, why do you even care? It is not even real teabagging, because they are not doing it over your virtual dead body. Or is it that teabagging reminds you that the survivor (or the whole SWF team) is a better player and you just simply can't accept this fact that they are better?78 comments 1,502 views last activity

I have a feeling that for most people the meaning of toxic is: Toxic = I don't like what they are doing This is however incorrect. Most people call completely legal gameplay as toxic. I think the only toxic things are: DCing, cursing and being rude in chat, holding the game hostage, using some exploits and bugs, hacking, afk, survivor cooperating with killer, suicide on hook. What is not tox30 comments 501 views last activity

There are a lot of posts complaining about totem placement. I had this idea that could help to fix this problem: Totems will spawn like they spawn today, but to turn them into hex, the killer has to pick them up and place them somewhere. Similarly like the trapper does it with the traps. So killers could hide the hex totems a lot better. But of course it would also mean that there is some setup1 comments 21 views last activity

Survivor had Victor attached and was standing right at the exit, but couldn't leave because Victor was attached. I downed the survivor with Charlotte, the survivor couldn't leave for a few more seconds because of this, but still I could not pick the survivor up. The "pick up survivor" option never came up. I was pressing spacebar, but nothing.0 comments 11 views last activity

The DS currently can be used only once. After the nerf I think it should be buffed to be able to use it multiple times, after each unhook. It is really just an anti tunnel perk after the nerf, so it should prevent tunneling after each unhook.17 comments 141 views last activity

So the goal of the nerfed DS is to be just a simple antitunnel perk. It should be a default survivor ability. It would punish tunneling and make the game more enjoyable.3 comments 41 views last activity

It happens to me that in the evening/night the queue times for playing survivor are very long and matchmaking not so good. Probably because there too many people that want to play as survivors and not enough as killers. I have a simple solution: Give some bloodpoint multiplier for playing killer during these times, e.g. 1.25x. This would make playing killer more attractive. The perk would block the exit gate similarly like Blood Warden, but would activate whenever the killer is inside the exit gate area. Punish those T-bagging survivors, or the survivors who want to escort out the injured ones by body blocking :D Could be a similarly hated perk like NOED, but that's the goal. :D What do you think?2 comments 381 views last activity

I think if MMR and matchmaking is properly implemented, not every killer needs to be strong. Depending on the selected killer and the player rating for the selected killer, the matchmaking could end up usually working like this: strong killer + good player = good survivors strong killer + bad player = medium survivors weak killer + good player = medium survivors weak killer + bad player = ba52 comments 2,032 views last activity

So imagine you are the last survivor and the killer closes the hatch and has the No Way Out perk. The endgame timer starts running after closing the hatch, but will the exit gates still be blocked for potentially 40 seconds? Endgame timer is 120 seconds, but the exit gates will be blocked for 40 seconds, so the survivor has only 80 seconds to open the exit gate. It will make the endgame pretty h15 comments 753 views last activity

Solution: Stop the hook progress if the killer is close to the hook and not in a chase. This way camping would keep the survivor alive while others can do gens: i.e. other than endgame it would make no sense for the killer to camp. Possible drawback: Survivors could know if a killer is near to the hook based on the progress, i.e. it is a very weak builtin kindred.11 comments 91 views last activity

The killer can rewind time for a few seconds, everything what happened is undone: survivors run backwards, worked on gens lose progress, etc. Imagine during a chase you can pull back a survivor by rewinding time. They just finished a gen in front of you? Rewind time for a few seconds and catch the survs on the gen.22 comments 541 views last activity
