I will ignore people that do that and let them use the rest of their chances before i unhook them. Enjoy going stage 2.
Why does it bother you so much to do that to them?
-
I used visionary for a while and in one of my builds untill I found detectives hunch. It's good in an open handed build.
-
I am assuming because of the teir system

That's wrong too, should be mettle of human spirit, mettle of individual power. Something all inclusive. Because these times we live in
I think the "Man" In Mettle Of Man is more for human or mankind rather then men and women.
-
I would do 1 of 2 things
1. Make Kindred Basekit without the killer aura shown. To show the killers aura Kindred could have that added effect.
Or
2. Make a ping system similar to something in another asymmetrical horror game called White Noise 2. If you don't know what white noise 2 is that's fine you don't need to but how the ping system in that game works is that the survivors could communicate with each other by speaking different phrases to help them stay and work together. It also had a bit of a downside as it could also alert the killer of your location briefly.
I feel one of these 2 effects could be good but ultimately a better match making system can also work as well.
-
I don't think I have experience that bug before. But now that you mentioned it I probably will be now
-
I think I kinda agree. Players should really step outside their comfort zone and try new perks. I did it and I had fun and I even found some nice underrated perks like off the record, detectives hunch ect.
-
You make it sound so nefarious. Like it's some killer conspiracy
-
It's really not that good. Everyone is overreacting over this perk when detectives hunch is clearly better
-
I'm pretty sure it's pareidolia
-
I haven't seen you post in a while. How are you?
And no it's not really a problem

The best one is WGLF, Deliverance, DS, and PT. PT for early game objective points, you get chaser on your own, but it's not that hard, you save to get Deliverance, WGLF, and altruism, at endgame, get hooked, Deliverance, DS and escape as the obsession for max survival. You'll almost always get 32k with this
Deliverence gives you point? Ok then thanks I will try it out
-
I have a survivor bloodpoints build if your interested
We're gonna live forever
Prove Thyself
No one left behind
Detectives Hunch or small game.
It's good I like it.
-
Thank you some one is also having the same problem. Sometimes I can't see my friends when I swf after a game. Other times it would say they are still in the match when they aren't and it cause errors.
It's a really annoying problem.
-
It's fine. Detectives Hunch is still better in my opinion.
In my opinion counterforce is a synergy perk and when paired with small game can be good.

It is perfect. I am cleansing first totem and then going to next totem. But i am not cleansing new totem early, starting gen to near this totem. After finish gen, cleansing totem again and it shows me next target. :) With this way, i am not wasting time and totems going so fast.
And if killer has Corrupt Intervention, i am cleansing all of them. If you are protecting gens from me, then i will take your all totems in start. :)
I really do not know why this perk is here. It is kinda op.
It's definitely not op

It is great. Now if they could stop the timer when your healing it will be even better.
-
I'm going to enjoy bringing distortion.
-
They buffed all of nemesis perks. Seems fair for the most part. Lucky break was buffed so that's interesting

I love your art.
Can you make more David?

I gave into the dark side and got the next gen console.
I just had to and now it doesn't freeze anymore.

@Pulsar I have to confess. I have betrayed you and all the other console forums members and gave into bhvr terrible ways and moved to next gen console to play.

Actually, Hex Perks are one of the few areas of "design space" where they have lots of room. Standard Perks are causing them issues in that they are entirely bland and have little to no effect or break the game. Hexes, however, with a built in counter (and more being added) have barely been tapped. They are the game's secondary objective, and nothing prevents them from becoming a third or fourth as well. Consider:
- Right now Hex Totems are lit or not lit.
- Right now Hex Totems are cleansed at a pretty static rate except for Thrill of the Hunt and coming Counterforce.
- A lit Hex Totem is a specific color.
- There is only one Hex Totem that doesn't start lit.
- There is only one way to relight a Hex Totem (Undying).
- Right now Hex Totem placement is entirely randomized and done at map generation.
- Hex Totems, while better than in the past, still have a limited number of spawns.
- Hex Totems can be cleansed in any order whatsoever.
- Hex Totems are currently a Killer affair, although Survivor Totems are being hinted at.
- Hex Totems currently can be protected only by other Hex Totems.
Now all of these things above (and I have more but felt ten was more than enough to demonstrate) can be changed and expanded upon. I'm going to now list the design space they have. These will correspond roughly to things listed above.
- Hex Totems could be changed so some could be lit by Killer actions (Killer version of cleansing) later in the game rather than at the start. This would allow the Killer to choose which dull Totem he/she likes best, making a tactical choice based on the quality of defensive properties how well it is hidden. It prevents the Killer from starting on the wrong side of the map and the Totem being cleansed before it can even function.
- Hex Totems could come in varying strengths and sizes, taking more time (or less) to cleanse. Power of said variable Hexes could likewise be variable opening up huge amounts of design space. Consider Hexes so large an potent that it takes multiple Survivors to cleanse them, i.e. nothing happens unless two work at the same time. *This is just an example of many ways variable Hexes, i.e. time to cleanse them (and how) might work. There might be Hexes that cannot be cleansed without certain items, like say holy water. Nearly any add-on(s) or equipment could be added to eliminate the static nature of Totems and make them more complex.
- Hexes could burn with different color flames which may be indicative potency, type of effect, danger, etc. Again, the purpose of this could be used in many ways both as a help to Survivors or a deterrent to touching them. Hexes could have multiple effects, i.e. one that will be cleansed when it is destroyed and one that will affect the cleanser, i.e. there is a personal price to be paid in taking it out and the color tells the Survivor that. Do you see where I'm going with this? Consider Trapper's Add-on(s) which injure someone disarming a trap. A Totem burning Purple-Green, for example, might do the same.
- Additional Hexes, like NOED, could be created that are lit when certain things take place, i.e. during the EGC or whenever a Survivor is killed. Any number of Triggers could be setup from obscure ones like... the first time a Survivor willingly goes into the basement. My point is that triggered Totems is a whole new avenue of approach and staggers out the lit Totems for cleansing throughout the game.
- As stated before, Undying will protect a Hex Totem right now, but certainly other Perks (or even specific Killer Powers) could cause Totems to ignite on a dull totem somewhere. There is lots of room here for variation.
- What if Totem placement itself doesn't happen at the start for some lit or dull totems? They don't have to appear on the map at all, in the same way the hatch is hidden (off map) until the right time, the same could be true of certain types of Totems. It can't be found or cleansed (dull or lit) if it isn't there yet. This is a huge design space option.
- They have room to create more varied Totem spawns, and in fact, MORE dull Totems than just five.
- Consider also if Totems, as a secondary objective, had to be cleansed in a certain order, i.e. it won't let you cleanse one until the correct one before it is taken out. The puzzle must be solved and perhaps there is a color order, or a number of skulls involved in the little pile, and so on. The puzzle wouldn't be terrible to solve but would mean that just happening on a Totem doesn't mean it is gone.
- And once Survivor Totems exist, there will be Killer actions to cleanse/destroy those.
- What is future Killers (or revamped current ones) had it built into their Power to make it harder to cleanse their Totems. What about Hag, for example, what if the base time to cleanse her Totems started at 30 seconds? This isn't another Totem but rather part of her Power. What if certain Add-On(s) were created (or Gear) which increased the time or protected the Totems?
I really could go on for hours because Hex Totems have the most flexibility left in the game.
To be honest I would love a trap hex totem that when cleansed gives the killer some powerful abilities like increased movement or breaking speeds
-
Nearly never

Why?

That’s not bad. Certainly better than what we currently have without sounding broken.
I figured increasing the chances of getting a skill check could help it to be paired well with perks that rely on skillchecks to happen naturally like Autodidact, Stake Out, and Fast Track.
-
I would buff it like this
This Is Not Happening
You perform at your best when you are under extreme stress
Any and all good and great Skill check zones are increased by 20/30/40%
Skill checks chances are increased by 10%
How is this change?
-
Yay another interview
-
I think because of this I'm going to start running breakdown to now for sure I should stay under the hook and heal or run away.
-
I'm a survivor main soni will be leveling up them only. I will do Jill's perks first because they are the good and then Leon's after.
Also can i just say you post alot.
-
I'm a plague apparently which is weird because I don't see myself killing because of religion. Or killing at all really
-
You can now be interviewed by @WishIcouldmain
By the way @WishIcouldmain are you still doing the forum members interviews? I don't think I have seen another one yet.
-
It's seems like a nice synergy perk. It could be pared with Deliverance and off the record
-
I've given up hope. They are not optimizing console any time soon
-
I have thought up two ideas of killer powers that I think is interesting.
The Beast (werewolf)
Movement Speed: 115% 4.6m/s
Terror Radius: 32 meters.
Height: Tall
Killer Power: Animal Instinct
As a werewolf you gain extremely unnatural and animal like abilities to hunt survivors as pray.
Sprint:
Press the active ability button for a few seconds to get on all fours and brake into an animal sprint for a max of 10 seconds. You move slightly slower for 3 seconds after coming out of sprint. You cannot attack while in sprint mode.
Beast Mode:
After 45 seconds a secondary power called Beast Mode will be activated. Press the active ability button to enter Beast Mode for 45 seconds. Survivors will be notified your in Beast Mode by a loud howl.
While in Beast Mode, Scatch marks and Blood trails becomes more viable.
When near an elevated surface, like a wall or obstacles, stand by it and press the activate ability button to climb on top and perch over it. While perched on top of it for 2 seconds you can pounce on nearby survivors. Survivors will lose a health state when you successfully pounce on them. Missing a pounce will stun you for and decrease the time of Beast Mode for 4 seconds.
When below an elevated surface with an opening press the activate ability button to jump up to area.
The Fate.
Movement Speed: 115% 4.6 m/s
Terror Radius: 32 Meters
Height: Average
Killer Power: link
The Fate has the ability to weave people and objects destiny together and manipulate it to their will.
After 15 seconds you can activate Link.
When looking at a generator press and hold the activate ability for 3 seconds to start a link. You can link said generator to a max of 2 other generators. You can see if the generators are linked by a red thread connecting them.
Any generator state effect on one of the linked generators will apply the same effect to the others. The generators link is cut when it's fully repaired.
Press the activate ability button when looking at a survivor for a full 6 seconds to establish a link on them. While linking survivors you move slower. Survivors will be notified of being linked by a noise notifications.
When you successfully link a max of 2 survivors together they will see each others aura. If one of the linked survivors loses a heath state the second linked survivors will suffer from a deep wound. The link is cut when you injure the survivors.
When a generator or survivor link is cut you cannot link for 10 seconds.
How are these killer ideas. I don't have addon ideas.

As a Latino myself, I agree with the commentary @MadLordJack and @Dabihwow added in here and I'd be against a concept like this being present on the game due to it. I know and understand you didn't intend any harm, but the glorification and presentation of Latino culture as gangsters or cartel members causes more harm than good.
Still I do share your view that the game could use more Latino characters or at least one more culturally appropriate. Jane and Ace are very Americanised in concept, but I welcome them as different and unique takes on their own -- especially Jane.
Thank you for informing me of this. I really didn't mean any offense and again I'm sorry. I will try my hardest in the future to not perpetuate any offense stereotypes.
Again thank you

I have no idea how a latin country would have mostly europeans
The ethnography of Argentina makes this country, along with other areas of relatively modern settlement like United States, Canada, Brazil, Australia or New Zealand, a crisol de razas (race crucible), or a melting pot of different peoples. From what I looked up a majority of people in Argentina has ancestors that are from Europe.
-
@MadLordJack said:
Uh, maybe further down the line when there's more representation and stereotypes aren't such a big deal and also the survivors are even more diluted so I don't have to see a glorified gangster nearly as often.
I'm sorry I didn't think much of it at first. I thought it would be cool. I didn't mean to be offensive.

I mean he is still Latino since it's a culture, not a racial group.
Latino is a ethnicity not a culture.
After doing more research you are technically right since to be Latin you have to have family in Latin America which does include Argentina.
But what's one more Latin person?
